Clan Name: Suku Clan
Key Traits: The key traits of the Suku clan members are trying not to stand out at all. Their members are physically very average looking. Their hair is typically dark red or dark blonde, always bordering brown. While their eyes are always dark hazel or dark blue, bordering brown or black. They tend to have very average builds, and stand at average height. All these features cause them to be very insignificant physically, easily blending in.
Definitions
Short Term: Short Term memory has a small capacity of storing information that is typically applicable to their present situation. If someone is told to ask for a person, or needs to remember why they put down their keys, they keep that information in their short term. When something is in the short term memory, it is either stored into long term memory for later recall, or discarded.
Long Term: Long Term memory has the capacity to store an indefinite amount of information, that can either be Explicit or Implicit. Explicit memories, for the sake of the clan, refer to events, faces, names, objects and the like. While Implicit memories, for the sake of the clan, refer to skills, such as performing hand seals, or speaking in their native tongue.
Obtain a Memory: The term obtain a memory is used to define when a clan member uses jutsu to see the memories of other people. Clan members do not simply “see” the memories, but actually assimilate memories into their own when they use jutsu, allowing them to effortlessly learn the memory. It could be explained as being an actor in a movie, as opposed to watching it. However, because of this, clan members must be careful to partition their own memory or they run the risk of losing their identity. Obtaining the memory of learning a skill does not give the clan member access to the skill
Memory Partition: The term memory partition is used to define when a clan member actively separate memories from the brain. This is different from modification as the memory is completely removed from the brain, making it unretrievable, even by the clan member.
Memory Write: The term memory write is used to define when a clan member creates a memory in the brain. This is different from modification as the jutsu is not replacing or changing the details of an existing memory. The memory blends in with other memories, so not even clan members are able to differentiate the fake ones from real ones.
Memory Modification: This is actively changing the details of a memory in the targets brain, may it be minor details in the memory, on the memory as a whole. Completely altering the memory in it’s entirety is too complex, and requires a memory partition, and then memory write.
History: The Suku clan is several generations old at this point, and has existed in Konohagakure for years. The kekkei genkai originated in four brothers, all of who developed it at the same age. Recognizing the potential of their kekkei genkai, the brothers immediately developed jutsu to mask their existence. They slipped into hiding, and chose to devote themselves to their kekkei genkai. Making the ultimate choice, they went out of their way to partition memories of themselves from all the people they had close interactions with. The only people they kept aware of themselves was their wives. The clan grew from there, within two generations it had completely vanished from existence. No one even remembering who they were, the clan kept itself small, with four families that occasionally interbred. They kept themselves secret, to all but the Hokage. However, the rules of the clan were not distinct yet. And there were mistakes, and slip ups. Rumors began to spread through Konohagakure of a clan of people that could mess with your memories.
To this day, the clan is a mystery, unknown to everyone in the village save the Konohagakure. Masters of memory, the "The Silent People" are a fable in Konohagakure, and it's often said that when you walk into a room and forget why you were there, it's because a silent man had walked through. Over time, the rules and guidelines for the clan have become more concrete, stopping more slip ups. But the rumors still spread.
Clan Structure: Important things to note;
The clan leader is the only one who knows of a jutsu to make a person unaffected by the short term memory effects of the clan’s jutsu. This jutsu is performed on all clan babies upon birth, and can be performed on other people as well, though this is done only on extremely rare occasions. The Konohagakure is currently the only person outside the clan that is unaffected by their short term jutsu, and anyone else wishing to gain this exemption must gain it IC.
Clan member’s kekkei genkai is able to exist in those that are only ½ Suku. However, due to the obvious ramifications of a child being born to a mother who cannot remember the father, or vice versa, Suku marry almost entirely internally. Rare exceptions are made to prevent the gene pool from bottlenecking.
The clan compound is deep underground Konohagakure, following a very complex path to reach it, as no one knows they exist. If it is accidently stumbled upon, the person, or people, who find it are simply removed from the premises, and have their memories of it partitioned.
Clan Politics: The Suku clan remains impartial in terms of politics for the obvious reason that most people are simply unaware of their existence, making them hard to make a political stance. The clan as a whole takes a morally grey stance, willing to do anything to keep the secrets of itself, and Iwagakure safe, though others may feel differently. Because clan members aren’t allowed to leave the compound until they’ve learned the {Hush} technique, and then once they have, it becomes thoroughly impossible for them to create bonds, clan members are extremely close to each other. Being as their clan is literally the only legitimate relationship they’ll form over the course of their entire life time. This bond causes clan members to be extremely loyal to themselves and each other. This makes missing ninja from the clan an extremely rare occurrence. Additionally, clan members were hunted with extreme prejudice in the few events that they did go missing. Clan members are expected to become ninja since it’s essentially the only job they can hold.
Kekkei Genkai: Suku Clan members have a unique kekkei genkai developed from a stealth based lifestyle. The kekkei genkai causes all clan members to radiate chakra from their body, which affects the memory center of the brain of all people in the range. This allows clan members to subdue and alter memory formation in the people around them through ninjutsu. Due to this, all clan members have a constant amount of stamina to use their required clan's jutsus. However, Clan members are immune to each others effects.
Common Techniques: (List some of the common techniques that are standard to the clan)
Not anymore. The bugs are lava. I would've said no to having both Wood Release and the Aburame bug abilities but now that it's switched to Lava release, I might be okay with it. Maybe if his parents were an Aburame member and someone with the lava kekkei genkai.
@Mugin Had a discussion with my Co-GM and we've decided you have to pick between either the Lava Release or the Aburame lineage. You can't have both unfortunately.
@Blu Also I think if there are some KGs/Hiden that are from other villages, the player would have to explain how they got the technique in the characters history. Just to avoid confusion. For example, if someone wants to use Black Lightning that is exclusive to the Hidden Cloud and even more closely to the Raikage they would have to explain how they got a chance to learn that technique. It just makes sense seeing as we (The Hidden Leaf) are on odd terms with most villages and many do not cross sensitive jutsu to other nations.

Agreed. Please consider these things when creating your character... Unless your me. Cause I'm the GM. And my character is going to somehow possess all the Tailed Beasts. B)
@MuginYou still trying to decide between Wood Release and Aburame? Because I'd like to throw together a Wood Release ninja. If not I'd be down for a support-type ninja or summin'
