@GreatSalmon Your king is accepted. Though for some reason I was thinking you were gonna spring for Kuzco, the greatest Disney princess ever. Though that might have been due to my friends joking around. XD

Appearance: As a shapeshifter of Gaia, Sobek possesses three forms that he can shift between at will. His "suchid" (Creator) shape is that of a huge nile crocodile. An venerated grandfather of the Nile, Sobek is over twenty feet long in this form, and is covered in thick, armor-like scales, and his powerful jaws are filled with dagger-like teeth. An albino, his thick hide is an alabaster white, and his eyes are blood red in color.
Sobek's "homid" (Shaper) form is that of an Egyptian human (a Nubian to be precise). His human form possesses a hulking, muscular figure and brutish, almost subhuman features. He is typically dressed in the reignments of a slave, with little more than rags for clothes and bronze manacles on his wrists and ankles. His albinism persists through this form, bleaching his African skin into a milky white, and turning his close-shaven hair to the fairest blond. His eyes, however, are still a deep red, and maintain their primal, reptilian appearance from his suchid form. Likewise, Sobek keeps a mouth full of jagged, pointed fangs rather than normal human teeth.
Last is Sobek's "archid" (Destroyer) form. By tapping into the genetic memory of all Mokole, the Mnesis, Sobek "dreamed" this form into existence upon his First Changing. A primordial abomination shaped from the nightmarish beasts that ruled the Earth before Man had set foot upon it, the archid form is among the most deadly of all of Gaia's creations. A reptilian, somewhat saurian beast, Sobek stands on four strong legs in this form, though at the shoulder he is still taller than most humans. His body is dense, yet flexible, and covered in impenetrably thick, armored scales. A powerful tail as long as his body stretches out behind him, aiding his balance as he runs or rears up onto his hind legs, or serving as a rudder in water. Sharp spines sprout along his back, and skin stretches between them to form a flamboyant sail from his neck to the base of his tail. With a thick, scaled skull and forward-facing eyes full of predatory intelligence, Sobek is clearly well-adapted to charge into battle headfirst. His mighty jaws are filled with teeth longer than Men's fingers, and lengthy, fearsome claws tip each of his toes. Once again, Sobek's albinism is evident, as this monstrosity is the color of polished ivory, and its eyes are the deep red of uncut rubies.
Personality: Despite his fearsome appearance, Sobek is a forlorn creature. Forsaken by his people and damned into the servitude of his most hated enemies, he is plagued by madness and self-loathing. As with most vampires of his age, he spends much time in torpor (or the "Dragon Sleep," as his people call their own form of hibernation), preferring to sleep away the eons rather than live through them in anguish. One of Sobek's few outlets for his overwhelming grief and hatred is the Rage, the gift of primal power to his people by the Celestines. Sobek generally breaks up his centuries of sleep with outbursts of unthinking, berserk destruction, before falling back into torpor. His fleeting moments between sleep and rage are hardly lucid, as his mind has withered greatly from being divorced from his patron spirits. Sobek whispers deluded prophecies and meaningless aphorisms to those that bother to listen, and walks through life as though it were a nightmare that he cannot wake up from.
Powers/Skills: Sobek's supernatural powers are twofold: those of a Mokole, a weredragon of Gaia, and those of a Vampire, the damned descendants of Caine. Though since Sobek was embraced, his status as a vampire has overwritten many of his conditions and abilities as a shapeshifter. He retains a key few, however. As one of the Mokole-Mbembe of the Stream of Earth, Sobek is essentially a spirit of Gaia, the Worldsoul, made flesh. The speciality of his people is Mnesis, the Memory of Gaia. With it, he can recall events experienced by his ancestors, even those millions of years ago during the Age of Kings. Sobek can continue to shapeshift between his usual forms freely, though he no longer benefits from his Crowned Sun auspice. As with all of the Changing Breeds, Sobek is deeply tied to the spirit world, and can see and commune with spirits with ease. Though in his current form, the only spirits likely to listen to him are Banes, corrupted spirits of the Wyrm. Even so, Sobek is keenly attuned to sensing the spirit energy of natural places, and disturbances in the Gauntlet between the mortal world and the spirit world. Sobek's other powers are lost to him, as his Gnosis, his connection to nature and Gaia, has been severed by his undead condition. Even so, he retains his weakness to gold through his patron Celestine, Helios.
As an ancient vampire, Sobek's powers are far more pronounced. Already a powerful beast, his physical capabilities are exaggerated further by his vampiric condition into truly unnatural extremes. Sobek can exert control over the natural forces of the desert, with particular regard to reptiles such as snakes and his kinfolk crocodiles, and is master of poisons and venoms. Sobek as well can warp the minds of those around him into viewing him as an exemplary being; even a god if he so chooses. Mortal minds are easily awed and influenced by his presence, and he possesses a most diabolical sort of charisma. Though he has lost his natural power to regenerate, he can restore wounds in his flesh by consuming the blood of humans (beast blood no longer slakes his thirst), though this depletes the mystic energy he uses to fuel his other supernatural abilities. As a vampire, Sobek is afflicted with the trifold Curse of Caine. Firstly, he is consumed with the Hunger, the overpowering need to consume the flesh and blood of mortal men. Second, light is his bane; sunlight is fatal to him, and he hates and fears fire. As a childe of Set, Sobek is particularly sensitive to light, as even particularly bright unnatural light is blinding and disorienting to him. Lastly, he is cursed with the Beast, a predatory instinct that fights Sobek for control over his own body. Should the Beast win, or simply be indulged, Sobek's higher mind takes backseat to his instincts to feed and survive, whichever is more important at the time. Sobek has few qualms over surrendering control to the Beast, as he is subject to its frenzy and the unstoppable Rage of the Mokole during his waking hours.
Brief Bio: Hatched thousands of years ago to a Mokole-Mbembe clutch along the Nile, Sobek hatched under the Crowned-Sun auspice, prophesying that he would be a king among Mokole. When he came of age, he assumed leadership of his Clutch, and lead them to glorious battle against the encroaching Vampires of the rising Egyptian civilization. For decades the war waged, the Mokole slowly purging the nightwalkers from their ancestral lands. The Vampires, known as Settites (named for their leader, whom they revered as a god), could not stand against the twofold attack of the Mokole and their rival Osirian League. As the most feared general of the Settites, known only as the Scorpion King, fell against the forces of Osiris, Set himself departed to find a new leader for his armies. Set infiltrated the Wallow that Sobek ruled, and forced upon the mighty dragon the dark Embrace. Under most circumstances, the gifts of Helios prevent the Mokole from being turned into vampiric abominations, but such was the unholy power of Set that Sobek's connection to Helios was utterly severed, and a vampire Sobek became.
While Set succeeded in creating an unholy terror unlike any the world had ever before seen, he had failed in creating a fearsome leader for his army. Sobek was a sorrowful creature, maddened by his transformation. Set could only persuade the newly-sired Abomination to wage war (against his enemies) by completely dominating his mind, which was a waste of time and effort. With the rise of the Roman Empire, Set had little use for such an unsightly and unsubtle creature as Sobek, and entombed him in a shrine in Faiyum. A Typhonic Cult rose around the slumbering beast, the Abd'al-Sobek. There, in his tomb of flowing water, Settites sit and leave offerings to the Crocodile God. A retinue of ghouled crocodiles and caimans surrounds him, which whisper to the cultists the dreaming prophecies Sobek mutters in the Dragon's Tongue.
Equipment: The Crocodile God carries no weapons and wears no armor; his (un)natural body is mighty enough without them.
Others: Sobek's strengths as weaknesses may wane and wax with the various realities that he is deposited upon.
@Dead Cruiser: Okay, I haven't looked into the bio too in-depth yet and GS can't post at the moment(though I'm talking it over with her), but from skimming through I immediately noticed he can apparently use mind control with no real way for anyone to defend from it.

That's not really it. If you'd read more closely, you would see that it's more like supernatural charisma. He has the Presence discipline, not the Dominate discipline.
*Name: Donkey Kong *Universe: Super Mario *Appearance: *Personality: If there's one thing that Donkey Kong undeniably loves, it's bananas. Donkey Kong adamantly adores bananas, and will stop at nothing to protect the Kong family's banana hoard and the beautiful island on which the animals run free... and the bananas grow sweet. DK is a heroic ape, though sometimes his hypos get up and this is when he gets in a bit of trouble with Mario; he is a passionate gorilla and as such would often kidnap Pauline much like his grandfather did. Outside of trouble, Donkey Kong is laid-back, choosing to chill in his treehouse hammock with his pal Diddy Kong. *Powers/Skills: The first member of the DK Crew, Donkey Kong is bigger, faster, and stronger too. Donkey Kong can pick up and throw heavy objects due to his gorilla strength. DK is agile and can swing through trees, roll on the ground, and run quickly, while still maintaining a high degree of power.
In terms of offensive skills, Donkey Kong relies on brute force, preferring to punish his foes with his fists if diplomacy goes down the drain. Though from long-range, he will pick up the nearest heavy object and throw it; traditionally this has been barrels. *Brief Bio: Donkey Kong, Jr., more widely-known as Donkey Kong, is the grandson of the original Donkey Kong, now known as the elder Cranky Kong. (Try not to think of the time too much; this is Mario World.) Donkey Kong is the hero and leader of Donkey Kong Island, and an adventurous spirit. If he is hurt, he is angry, and seeks justice through his own means. Usually, DK Island is plagued by the attacks of King K. Rool and his Kremling kronies, but DK and his buddies always rise to the challenge and drive off the Kremling Krew's nefarious schemes. Lately, Donkey Kong Island has nearly fallen to two other fearsome foes: the Tiki Tak Tribe, a gang of sentient tribal instruments who wanted to take over DK Island, and the Snowmads, a gang of Antarctic Viking warrior-animals who also wanted to take over DK Island. Both times, DK drove them off. Often, DK would be invited to participate in Mario's various sports tournaments; despite DK's occasional mischief, there seems to be no bad blood between them. The mighty Kong is quite a match in tennis, kart-racing, baseball, and other sports. After the Snowmad incident, DK thought that he would finally have some time to relax, but soon after, he found himself whisked away from Donkey Kong Island... *Equipment: His coconut gun, which can fire in spurts. If he shoots ya, it's gonna hurt. *Others: I'd shower you with coconut cream pies.
@Dead Cruiser Gonna say no to Sobek since he might not exist and has no canon appearance, personality, or abilities. Also because he's a god-like being, which I explicitly said not to spring for as per my first post as well.
((I know the GM already spoke on it, but I was like, almost done with this when I saw their post, and I need to express my view on this topic! You gotta let me! You gotta gotta GOTTA!))
Being a crossover guy for a long while, I'm always a bit indifferent about godlike characters. I know its not really my place to put input, as I'm not in charge of the roleplay and stuff, but I've had an opinion on this for a long time now. In my opinion, gods can be a very strangely played. I was never a fan of the setup where a god is just "holding back his power", and hanging around with people cus' fuck it n' stuff I'm a god and I'm cool like that and here I created a pony from thin air. I think it limits how much fun you can have with a character when you can't use them to their full potential. Usually, when I want to play a godlike character, I want them to blow up shit and turn people into flan. That's just my opinion though. It's irrelevant to our good ol' buddy Sobek here, and I am by no means claiming that wanting to play the crocodile god is wrong.
My concern is the character's effect on the rest of the roleplay. Because, depending on the god's alignment, he/she can completely take control of the story. If they're leaning towards evil guy territory, than they are most likely going to adopt that role. And I think when we give a player other than the GM the power to do this, to take over the events occurring in this world, I think the roleplay will take on a different atmosphere than what was originally planned. And I'm not claiming that we shouldn't have the players steering along the roleplay, hell, I love it when that happens. Hell, I'd love there to be a time during this roleplay where Pridemoor get a spotlight (vote for Pridemoor as Mayor folks. Free Pridemoor praising sessions included). It allows for a lot of chemistry with characters to form, and often leads to a lot of ridiculous adventures. Sometimes they can be dramatic, and if they've practically absorbed the entire focus of the roleplay, people not involved in it, or just people in general not having the spotlight, can get really turned off.
And that's my main fear about godlike characters; their power and evil-bad guy-ness will eventually land them into the role of controlling where the roleplay goes, its atmosphere, and especially what the player's characters are supposed to be doing.
@Dead Cruiser Gonna say no to Sobek since he might not exist and has no canon appearance, personality, or abilities. Also because he's a god-like being, which I explicitly said not to spring for as per my first post as well.
1) He quite explicitly listed as existing in the Chained By the Beast book.
2) He has vague descriptions of all of those factors in the books Chained By the Beast, Clan Book: Followers of Set and Breed Book: Mokole. I will grant that some of those were as much as a single line ("a giant, albino crocodile") that I had to embellish quite a bit, but he's not just something I made up.
3) He really isn't. He's a very old, very powerful vampire, but he's not a god. Merely worshipped as one by fanatics. His Presence Discipline encourages this by giving him a glorious, divine aura. Even so, he (and any vampire, really) are quite far from gods in World of Darkness.
@GreatSalmon I understand you concerns, and I generally agree. I'm just reiterating that Sobek is a huge, incredibly depressed crocodile, not an actual god.
Well, that was quite a mouth-full XD I might say that the RP is already doomed to head down that route 'in a way' if we even have player controlled villains in the first place since we'll inevitably have to face the, but that's neither here nor there.
I actually imagine what you described is one of the big issues most GMs would have with 'god tier' characters, RP Hijacking, intentional or not. I myself also rather enjoy playing powerful characters, but it's so much more fun to 'blow shit up' responsibly instead of essentially going 'Saints row 4 with cheats turned on' XD
Of course, I also get a kick out of taking unacceptably OP things and squeezing them through a small hole until they fit into the RP without being OP anymore.
Being that this is a crossover rp intended for established characters from various media, there a few rules to consider.
1) Permitted characters encompass those from visual media, literature, video games, and other such published franchises. Original Characters are not permitted. Webcomics are considered okay. Customizable characters from video games are okay as long as they have some sort of canon personality and are not just heroic mimes. Mass Effect Shepard and Persona Protagonists work out in this regard while characters who solely exist just for gameplay do not.
2) Obviously, no ghosting, auto-hitting, godmoding, or writing up reactions for other people's characters, both PC and NPC. Also no characters who are above a certain level of ability, such as reality warpers or gods that can shift the continents. Even then, some characters below the level may not be able to be used, mind readers or future foretellers being chief among the no no list. Mind control, hypnotism, and arbitrary debuffs such as petrification or one hit kill poisons are also pretty much taboo.
Please make sure to read the ground rules when making characters, okay? I put them in there for a reason and I see more than a couple being broken already.
@Dead Cruiser: While he may have been mentioned, the rules state characters must have a canon personality and ability set.
Chained by the Beast states that the Abd'al-Sobek prizes the Serpentis discipline foremost, followed by the Obfuscation and Presence disciplines. The revised Vampire: the Masquerade rulebook lists 4th Generation Vampires (such as Sobek) as carrying 50 blood points, spending 10 per round, and having a maximum trait rating of 9 dots. Under a Blood Red Moon lists what Rites and Gifts can be kept by a Fera that is Embraced, and what happens to their Gnosis score.
The former book also describes the activities of the Abd'al-Sobek, as directed by their patron. The latter book describes the temperament, morality system and derangements earned by Abominations.
I had to do some cross referencing today, but mechanically and canonically, this is essentially Sobek.
I honestly feel a little put-upon, presumably just because my character has a weak wiki page.
@Dead Cruiser I really don't know the meaning of any of the game mechanic statistics you just listed, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
They really aren't significant. I'm not translating the game mechanics directly into the RP, I'm just trying to demonstrate that I'm not just pulling all of this out of my ass.
I apologize for being stubborn about this, but as you can clearly see from the number of books I had to delve through, I put a lot of work into this character.
