Future Founded: The Fantastic Four
In the not to distant future of 2050, the world has been sprung into a golden age of technology and peace all thanks to the now governing faction of all of Earth and its colonies, The Future Foundation. Founded by Reed Richards years before, the future foundation is now ruled by a large roster of powered individuals. Anyone discovered of possessing superhuman abilities, no matter the origin, are humbly invited to join the roster. While most see the Future Foundation as a amazing and benevolent organization, a select few know the truth. What many didn't know is that those that refused to join the Future Foundation roster were hunted down and kept in secret prisons all around the planet and while the future foundation has kept Earth safe from outside threats and even its own crime, it has done so at the sacrifice of people's freedom and privacy. Almost every aspect of day to day life is already lined up for you once your born and if you stray to far from your given path then it's off to the slammer with no hope of getting out in your lifetime.
It's a bleak reality that many have come to live with but some never come to the conclusion that fighting the system set out for them is futile, some believe in a true golden age akin to the decades before the future foundation. While many rebellions against the future foundation have emerged and then subsequently been crushed, one such group now brings hope to the rebellious denizens of Earth:
Once the name was simply known as a past group, bent on keeping the world turning another day but lately it's been all the buzz after an anonymous hacker managed to broadcast a message to a large majority of the population, a riddle, a location, a chance at taking the fight to the future foundation. The reason this event was coupled with the Fantastic Four was the location the riddle gave, the old Fantastic Four tower. Many flocked to the tower, trying their best to not get detained in the process. All that entered the building were not seen again and it soon became known to the public that this was simply a ploy made by the Future Foundation to find those who would rebel but there was no talk of incarceration and now the building is associated with a great amount of mystery as no one is exactly sure what goes on inside the building. This is where the public's knowledge of the Fantastic Four event ends but yours continues, it was a day like any other wether that means going along your path or waiting for your end in prison when you got a sudden flash of a vision simply saying "Latveria". At that very moment everything went down. The entire planet blacked out for twenty four hours allowing those in the prisons to escape and those in everyday life to escape from their path. Now, one way or another, you find yourself in Latveria with Castle Doom in your sights.
Welcome to the OOC! Just a little bit of Latveria at this time in history, it's completely abandoned for seemingly no reason and has been for years. The Future Foundation never gave an answer why and many didn't even ask. Also, in terms of technology, it's a mixture of present and future, there's cars that drive or fly, planes capable of space and air travel even nanobots capable of purging cancer from a person!
For characters you can do anything really, best fit would be all powered characters but if this turns into an all Tech Fantastic Four then I look forward to inventing by your sides! If you want to make a new iteration of a classic character (Fantastic Four or not) or you want to go completely original then go ahead! Now onto the good stuff, the CS!
Name:
Alias:
Age:
Appearance:
Bio:
Powers: (Fire creation, snow manipulation, control over penguins nothing's to obscure for the FF!)
Skills: (can you hack? Are you able to pilot a plane? Maybe you know karate?)
Other: (anything else?)
One last thing, since we're the Fantastic Four we gotta have matching costumes (unless we end up having a brute type guy like The Thing) so if you know about a Fantastic Four costume iteration that you like then pitch it and we'll decide by vote what costume we go with (or we could all just go with different costumes).
