Biography

Satoshi was (and still is), as her mother describes her, a rambunctious young boy in the shell of a girl. Ever since she could learn how to walk, she began to run around the house and play with her father's old articles, always planning and dreaming to be the "man" of the house when she was quite obviously otherwise. The usual strictures of gender roles weren't of much use in the pragmatic sense, when each and every person in the village was set to farm for their livelihoods and food, so Satoshi remained as Satoshi, despite the fact that that wasn't her name. As for her father, well...it was safe enough to say he had no means to go back. After Satoshi's mother was impregnated, the father just upped and left for reasons unknown. No checks, no letters, not even a divorce paper was mailed. Nothing. It isn't to Satoshi's surprise, then and now, that she becomes the butt-end of parental jokes, but hey, it's not like she ever liked him in the first place. If her mom says he isn't dead, he isn't. That's all there is to it.

Also, did I forget to mention she runs a pretty neat rice field separate from her mother's? At school, she learned about adding prawn culture to the ricefields, and since her family is right next to the river...well, one thing came to another and soon, she was picking up textbooks on the Vietnamese. The end result was a working rice-field that flourished with prawns during the late summer (spawning had to happen by the first thaw of spring, otherwise it would've been too cold for the shrimp), effectively bringing loads of money and yummy snacks to the table. As part of her appreciation for the Vietnamese, she's started to work on her own set of "Ao Dai" (pronounced Ao Yai). And yes, she knows what happened during WWII. The past remains in the past, blegh, blah blah blah.

Naito barely knows her parents. They rarely ever speak to each other, and all they usually say to each other is "good morning" or "good night" She's grown up in the silent and peaceful town. She goes to school, and afterschool works at her parent's tea shop. And after the tea shop, she usually resides to the forest. She's never had any friends, but if you asked her that she'd tell you that all she needs are her books.

She is a happy person, although she won't start the conversation and considers herself bad at small talk. She resides to the forest in her spare time, and although she likes being alone, she feels almost too lonely sometimes.

Innis Is the son of a pair of musicians that haven't reached mainstream culture, but still earn enough to live quite comfortably. While not outstandingly talented himself, His parents have been giving him extensive voice training, and have allowed him to make an appearance in a few of their singles as harmony. When not behind a mic, Innis can be found manning the soundboard and occasionally keyboard while his parents perform. Innis's home is among the larger ones in the village, with two stories, bright white paint, plenty of land, and a sound insulated recording studio in the basement. The house was built on their own dime, carelessly demonstrating their wealth to the existing inhabitants.

The family has lived in the town for about a year now. The original intent for moving to japan was more direct access to the company that signed them the year before, and the town specifically so their practice wouldn't upset neighbors. While fluent in french, Innis's second language is still somewhat shaky. The year he's lived in Japan have, for the most part, allowed him to learn to communicate fairly well. At first his parents homeschooled him, but eventually relented to the boy's need to be social, and unleashed the hyperactive child on the local school system, which improved his language skill immensely.

Innis is eternally cheerful, a bit flighty, and nearly always smiling. His early exposure to music production translates directly into a joy for song and dance, and he prefers the electronic heavy style of his parents. He has a tendency to daydream, causing some of his school work to suffer, but he does decent enough.

Parents are his mother Aurore, and father Armand. The pair are in their mid 30's. They have had more issues picking up Japanese than their son, but generally speaking can communicate decently well.

Biography: As a third generation born member of Nakalla Village, Cho would consider the small village her stomping grounds. Her family consists of her grandparents (both sides), her father and mother, her two older brothers and herself. They live and work on a farm as most residents do- growing and selling agriculture.

Cho is a very hard working young woman, but often gets bored easily after completing her daily tasks. She has to constantly be doing something or she finds herself in trouble or mischief quite quickly. Having two older brothers doesn't seem to help these tendencies as they have a bit of a wild streak in them as well; known to be pulling practical jokes and pranks on some of the more serious residents of Nakalla.

The urbanization of the town, despite the excitement of change and the entering of new business into town is very distressing for Cho and the Inokuma family. They fear that there is some drastic and perhaps devastating events that can occur because of this. Hopefully they can keep their cool as their old home changes around them.

Biography
Born in the United States as a first generation American. Her mother and father were Russian immigrants who were trying to get away from their troubled families. From an early age, Ava loved aircraft and flying. All she ever wanted to do was play with toy airplanes, go to airshows, and ride in planes. As she got older, she immediately joined a Civil Air Patrol squadron nearby, and rose quickly in the ranks. There, even at the young age of 11, she got to fly her first plane. It was a small Cessna prop plane, but she was absolutely thrilled. She didn't care too much for the military aspect of it, but did enjoy the outdoor activities it provided her. Sadly, this dream of a life was quickly crushed.

Her parents died horribly in a car accident as they were driving to pick her up from her CAP meeting. They met a slow, painful death in the hospital with Ava there to watch. She was moved to her Uncle's home in Tokyo, by now being seventeen years old. He was some sort of salesperson and was rarely home, hell, he wasn't even home to help her unpack, or even be at the funeral. Ava had simply become some sort of vague entity that existed there, rather than an actual niece living there in the eyes of her Uncle.

For two years she endured, until she finally couldn't take any more of it. At the age of nineteen, after saving up some money and working till she dropped, she finally moved out. She wanted to get away from it all, head somewhere that wouldn't clog up her mind. Ava found herself moving into a small rental home in the Nakalla Village by the recommendation of a friend. Surprised by the low living costs, she took up the offer immediately.

Thus, with a motorcycle as her only form of transporting what little she had, she begins to arrive at the small village.

Other:

Ava may have one of the weirdest accents to date. Being a first generation American, its mainly a mix between a south-eastern American accent and a western Russian accent. Thus it makes it hard to speak clearly in Japanese, a language she is still struggling with anyway. So feel free to have your character react to that fact. Don't be a afraid to occasionally, out of the blue, be like "Erm... what did you say?" or something like that! XD

Also, I left out some big chunks, like how she got the motorcycle, worked to gain the money to move, and her dreams of being a pilot. I would like to let that unfold in the RP itself if that's alright.
