"Teni..." Ginger groaned, pushing the teddy bear out of his face. "I appreciate whatever you're trying to do, but I'm sorta too stressed to deal with that right now." Ginger said trying not to make his voice sound too annoyed.

Roxy had fallen asleep in the car, so Daniel took the wheel and followed the van.

Donna looked over her shoulder and noticed the van following down the same path, they weren't as stupid as she suspected. She turned her attention back to the farm houses; they looked able, Donna could rat out the undead from the houses and spend the night there, it was possible for them to be permanent home, but with a horde traveling near, it wasn't so safe.

She sighed and began wishing for a cigarette as she drove onward.

Jack drove in the direction ginger suggested, glancing back "You don't know what that has been through" He scolded, disgusted when she rubbed it on gingers face. "Why don't you throw it out the back so somebody as crazy as the girl can enjoy it." He said, then turned the radio on just hearing static. "Hmm interesting" He mumbled. He kept on driving on the dirt road. He looked at ginger "Where does this take us?" he asks...."Dang I bet that bath would of helped with all that stress" he said winking.

Ginger leaned into the car seat, crossing his arms. He looked out the window, examining their path. There were only a few staggering figures in the distant, Ginger couldn't tell if they were coming towards them or away. The farm houses also looked abandoned, but it okay shape. He wasn't surprised, they were getting pretty far from any city or town. They had driven far enough Ginger could not see anymore of the horde. But he had no doubt they would try to follow, their group would have to lay low for a while so that when the horde passes they are not detected. Ginger returned his gaze to Jack, laughing quietly, "You can say that again." He said, letting out a small sigh. "I think this dirt road goes towards the farm houses and through those woods way over there." He said, leaning forward as he spotted someone riding a motorcycle.

The bike slowly began to die, it was only a matter of time for the gas to finally run out, but at least it was able to help Donna travel away from the city. She pulled to the side and got off, slinging her bag over her shoulder, she kicked the bike over - not out of frustration, just because -.

Donna raised her thumb, signaling towards the van, she needed to ride with them.

Jack stopped, then parked. "Its a good thing that your motorcycle quit on you, cause these barns look like a suitable place to sleep for the night" He told her. He got out and walked to the barn doors, opening them. He cringed cause the smell wasn't too pleasant. "Home sweet home" He said jumping on a pile of hay

"I'd prefer to sleep in houses." Donna sighed and drew her hand back. What the hell was this boy thinking? It was a barn, and the only protection it held was the putrid smell from the feces and dead animal carcasses. "Anywho, I'd like to join your little toddler parade, if it's alright with you. And if any of you have cigarettes, I'd love that too."

She hopped over a small wooden fence to get to the house right beside the barn. The door, of course was nonchalantly kicked open. Surprisingly enough, the bodies inside the house were far too decomposed and rotten to reanimate. Donna scouted the house, until she finally sat down in a chari, beside an opened window at the top level of the home. She kicked her feet up onto the windowsill and rested her crossbow on her lap.

Once they got to the house, Norman decided to no go inside the barn yet. There was a chair outside, so he got on that and took a nap.

Ginger sighed, taking a glance around the field, he was glad that they had a clear view from most directions. However, it was getting dark, and like Donna had pointed out the barn didn't seem like a appealing place to stay. Ginger paused when he past the barn, noticing their group seemed to be a bit smaller. Ginger climbed over the small fence, entering the house cautiously. When he entered the abandoned house, Ginger was surprised to see Donna relaxing in the furniture. He took that as a sign that this house wasn't infested with undead. Even then, Ginger still kept listening for any stumbling or creaking on the wooden floors. "What's your name?" He asked, leaning against the door frame.

"Donna, Donna Fitspatrick." She glanced over her shoulder to give Ginger a small inspection; the average male, nothing special, though surprisingly well-mannered for someone in a group like this.

"They all act like infants, your friends, no offense. Who's your illegitimate leader? The man who decided to sleep neck deep in cow feces, or you perhaps?" Donna turned her chair around and crossed her legs, she stared intently at Ginger, "Oh yeah, since I claimed a spot in your little group, I guess I should know your name."

Ginger's lips quirked into a genuine smile, but it seemed little sly if inspected closely."I couldn't agree more. Surprised they're alive, honestly." He stated, shrugging his shoulders as he continued into the house. "I'm Ginger." He said, rubbing the back of his neck as he stepped around the decomposing corpse. "We don't really have an assigned leader... But I usually [i]let[i] Jack take the lead." He said as he shrugged, a small snicker escaping his lips. He was growing fond of Donna, she seemed to be the most sensible person he had met during this apocalypse.

"Ginger?" Donna repeated that name several times to remember it before moving on with the conversation, she couldn't help but chuckle at his words, "So you let him lead a group around like a blind man? He almost got you guys killed by lingering around an expensive mansion, it has no worth anymore, currency and trade is long gone. But I guess the more people in this group, the more he can sacrifice to keep breathing another day."

Ginger shrugged, "He's honestly pretty good at disposing these damn zombies, and he has gotten me out of trouble a couple times." He said, turning around to peer out the window. It was still quiet at there, he couldn't see any movement. Looking out at the darkness, GInger began to grow tired. He sighed as he turned back to Donna. "It wasn't like anyone expected for a horde to follow us all the way up there."

"I suppose. We're all young, for a survival group." Donna sighed, "Get some rest, a lot of things have been happening today, and I'm pretty tomorrow won't be so pretty either." She crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair, tipping it on its back legs.

Ginger nodded, "You should too." He said as he made his way to the couch. He grimaced, the couch smelled like old people. But Ginger was already in the grasp of weariness and he flopped down, reclining as he allowed himself to relax. It didn't take long for him to slip into a light, fitful sleep.

Jack woke up on A PILE OF HAY and stretched hearing the birds chirping. He flew out of the barn taking in the fresh air. It didn't smell too good in there. He looked to his right and spotted a house....which he never saw before. He laughed and walked toward the house, bursting in the door. he ran to the shower and jumped in the frigid water. He got all cleaned up, and stepped out, drying off, then went to the kitchen to dry off.
