Norman woke up on his chair in the middle of the night. He couldn't get to sleep, so he walked around, disposing of a few zombies. Later in the morning, he saw Jack running into the house. After a few minutes, he heard some running water, which he assumed to be Jack showering. He went into the house, where he ate a few of the food items in there, and then he put a few more into his bag. He went outside to see if there was the hoard of zombies somewhere. To his surprise, they weren't there yet.

(United, I was only referring to the fact that sleeping a barn was rather stupid, because a) there are no animals and if there were they would be dead or malnourished. Or b) Because since it reeked there was most likely shit and the barn hasn't been cleaned. So you don't have to seem rude by capitalizing sleeping in hay)

Donna never slept that night, sleeping wasn't her top priority, though she did take small naps throughout the night, eventually waking up to stare out of the window for any sign of activity.

She sifted through her duffle bag for food, finding a bag of stale crackers and a water bottle that was surprisingly full and unopened.

Ginger was startled awake by Jack bursting through the door. He leapt up from the couch as his reaction, letting out a small yelp at the intrusion. He relaxed, realizing it was just Jack. Everyone else seemed to be up by now, Donna was where he last remembered her. Everything seemed to be fine, and Ginger took a seat on the couch once more. "Morning." He yawned, stretching.

teni was sleeping under a tree, her sword and backpack and sword next to her and the teddy bear on her lap, she snored softly softly and looked like a normal girl in a normal day, not like a gild with mental problems

Donna sighed and finished off the last of her crackers, she screwed the cap back onto the water bottle and stuffed it into her duffel bag. She slung it around her shoulder and stood up. Picking her crossbow up she went downstairs to greet everyone, though her greeting only consisted of a small stare and a slight head nod.

Jack found fruit and some meat, but it was all rotted. He sighed strolling into the living room "I hope all you people had a goods nights rest" He said. He opened the front door, to let some fresh air in. "You know, the one thing that keeps me from spiraling down to a dark, dark, place, is the sky. It never changes, and its looked the same since all this hell started. In fact, it seems to look better, since there is next to no more air pollution. I wish I could just stare at the clouds all day, and not have to worry about being slaughtered by merciless, remorsefulness, undead bastards. The sky seems to blur out all the troubles, it being so blue and bright. You don't even notice the gray, Smokey colors that constantly surround us, and the stench of decaying bodies. But eventually you start to come back to reality, that is hell on earth." He announced. Another thing he failed to notice was a forest, about 100 yards out to the left of the houses. He ran into the van, snatching up an almanac, trying to find exactly where they ended up. He found a red marker, and circled the spot where they were located now, then wrote the number of people that was with the group at the time. He put the map and marker back inside the glove box of the van. He turned toward the forest, smiling.

Ginger walked by the door, perplexed by Jacks behavior. "Uh, nice speech." He mumbled as he turned around. He wasn't sure what was going on in Jack's head most of the time. But that wasn't a new thing, and he had grown familiar with Jack's behavior. Ginger approached Donna, greeting her quietly. "What do you think we should do next? Settle down for while?" He said, gazing out of the window.

Donna sighed, "The problem is, is do we have the items necessary to thrive? Do we have seeds to plant crops and let them grow? Do we have enough water to share within the group and the plants? Do we have a green thumb? Food is a big decision maker. This farm has a well and a shed, but we have no idea if there is actually stuff inside there, or if the water is even clean. You're going to have to make people check." She began to plan things as she went along, "This place is going to have to be fortified as well, and that means blocking out the windows, and laying weaponry in certain spots if we end up getting attacked. Soon, the water will stop working because the government has given up, so we either have to a) find a river, or b) use the well."

"So if we should settle here, things would need to be done." Donna crossed her arms and stared at Ginger, "Should we really settle down here? It's really up to the others, we're just in the bandwagon."

Ginger nodded, "Those tasks are all possible." He stated, his shoulders slumped slightly. "But considering most of the people in this group tends to get into trouble..." His thoughts drifted to Teni. "I don't think I would be able to get them to help. They're always going in different directions all the time." Ginger sighed, rubbing his temples. "It may just be safer to get a move on."

Teni was snoring when suddenly something pushed her, she woke up and prepared her bow but realized it was not a zombie, "aw poor you, your are hurt.." she stood up and a patted the hed of a huge black horse that was wounded on the face. she pulled a first-aid kit and treated the would, after a few minutes the wound was desinffected, "now, isn't that much better?" Teni asked and screatched the side of its head, the horse liked the hand in response

"But where would we go? To the mountains? Sustain off of the wildlife? This group is practically trying to swim in different directions." Donna sat down on the couch and ran her hand through her hair, "This place is temporary, there is a 50/50 chance that a horde will swarm by eventually or today even."

Jack had a glint in his eye, looking at the forest. He ran inside grabbing a wool sack, and threw it over his shoulder. "I'm going to get some fruit, and anyone who wants to help can come along" He yelled, running out the door toward the forest. He glanced noticing the sun was hours close to setting, so he picked up the pace. He started with some bushes near the edge of the forest. He examined the berries, not wanting to bring back poison. He smirked, swiping some actually being able to identify them as poisonous. He put them in his pocket, then crept along the side, searching for more fruit.

Ginger sighed, taking a seat down next to her. He stiffened, hearing Jack's yell. Ginger thought about following him, but he knew Jack was already off like a shot. "Unbelieveable.." He mumbled under his breath. Ginger's gaze drifted back to Donna, chuckling "You're telling me, I think we're back at square one at the moment." He reclined back, "The van is also running out of gas..."

"God, I swear we're in a group of five year olds," Donna couldn't help but laugh slightly, she glanced at Ginger, "We should salvage what we can, we'd be lucky to run into fuel. But if we don't, we would have to walk, we're on a farm and faaaar from any town or gas station. Though, there may be a chance that there would be another vehicle near by? A truck of some sort? But that's just a rough idea."
Ginger was the only logical person she met in this group. She easily viewed him as a worthy adversary.

"This is such a loose group."

Ginger nodded, crossing his arms "I think we may have to resort to walking... I don't think is a very high chance there would be a truck left." He let out another sigh, "I hate walking, I've done enough of that since the outbreak started." Ginger grumbled, thinking of the time where had just wondered of what was left of the streets. It was a while later before he found Jack and another group. But most of them didn't make it, Ginger and Jack had stuck together since then. "You're right, I think it's time we shorten their leash. If we choose to wait, it will probably bite us in the ass later on."

"Do you think they would listen to you? They prefer Jack more, surprisingly enough, though they can't even make moral decisions themselves," Donna chuckled, "Though I do agree with you, they need to be more aware of their environment, and they need to learn that frolicking around and wasting bullets and food is dangerous and stupid," She sighed, "Before all of this mess I was a teacher in training, a teacher's assistant. One day on a field trip to the city, a student got sick, policemen wouldn't let us go..."

"They don't really have a preference, at least the newest people. Besides, it doesn't matter because Jack will most likely listen to me." He stated, shrugging his shoulders slightly. Ginger glanced over at Donna, "You worked with kids?" He didn't expect that, but as Donna continued speaking his heart felt like it was sinking. "Oh my god... That must have been horrible...." His voice trailed off into a murmur, "I can't imagine what that must have been like... My experience with when the first outbreak started was...." Ginger tried to find an accurate word to describe it, but he fell to silence.

"I have a soft spot for children, but towards everything else I'm extremely passive aggressive." Donna leaned forward slightly, she was rather curious to listen to Ginger's story when the outbreak started, but she knew that pushing him wasn't a good idea. "Listen, if you don't want to say anything if it's too mortifying, don't try to push yourself to say it."
