Jack found fruit and some meat, but it was all rotted. He sighed strolling into the living room "I hope all you people had a goods nights rest" He said. He opened the front door, to let some fresh air in. "You know, the one thing that keeps me from spiraling down to a dark, dark, place, is the sky. It never changes, and its looked the same since all this hell started. In fact, it seems to look better, since there is next to no more air pollution. I wish I could just stare at the clouds all day, and not have to worry about being slaughtered by merciless, remorsefulness, undead bastards. The sky seems to blur out all the troubles, it being so blue and bright. You don't even notice the gray, Smokey colors that constantly surround us, and the stench of decaying bodies. But eventually you start to come back to reality, that is hell on earth." He announced. Another thing he failed to notice was a forest, about 100 yards out to the left of the houses. He ran into the van, snatching up an almanac, trying to find exactly where they ended up. He found a red marker, and circled the spot where they were located now, then wrote the number of people that was with the group at the time. He put the map and marker back inside the glove box of the van. He turned toward the forest, smiling.
