I like the powers and you gave them draw backs, plus the charging I was eh on but as long as it's slow to charge like a normal battery and not like, instant, you should be fine. I'm assuming you're aiming for a support character?

In practice, the problem's not so much the recharging aspect of Cortex as it is the quantities of Cortex she can carry without becoming a big glowy target for thugs to mug. That, and in the thick of battle, she's becomes like an energy vacuum if she wants to do anything at all. Kinda why I made the panel pretty powerful since she won't be lugging a Cortex-filled water gun all day.

I'm trying to say that yes, the panel does charge Cortex pretty quickly, but only because she can't carry so much Cortex on her at one time.

You do realize Cortex isn't like an iPhone battery right? They're lithium battery times one thousand. They're meant to last. Unless you have an intense battle every single day, it'll last, depending on the size. One the size of a triple A battery will last a week in modest usage. This is why it is a rare material.

@BytheSpleen It's alright! I didn't know if that was clear or not but yes, Cortex is a rare but powerful and lasting energy source that is the reason Mach have their hyper-advanced technology. Sort of like gold if you used it for fuel.

Ok, So I have a question in regards to dark magi/Mach and it's usage. I was considering a Bio-Destructive Neutral character born out of dark-arts, perhaps a possible antagonist/anti-hero character???

IDK, It'd be lovecraft inspired (I read a bit today)

@hagroden Um... I don't mind if you make a neutral who specializes in those things. You can be as evil as you may like, but as for the overall conflict... Not really. I have that set up, and Neutrals aren't generally a concern at this point as they aren't one of the two purist empires. But you can be evil and do bad things all you want.

As for born out of dark arts... if you mean created by magic then no. There is summoning abilities, but to the extent of making a human being is a power that maybe the circle of Magi could perform. And they have no interest in creating a Neutral, so I'd have to say no.

And no clue what lovecraft is, but it does sound interesting.

Lovecraft is an AMAZING author that pioneered the genre of Cosmic-Horror, and you should DEFINITELY check him out.

And I meant more of a conception or birth involving dark magic, perhaps a cultists child, but I can't really go into that If I don't know whether or not dark magic exists, and how prominent or powerful it is.

And after a second read through, I think I prefer Bio-Conjurant.

@hagrodenThere is no "dark" magic. Magica is the only magic, listed into three groups. Yes you can use Magica for evil purposes, such as necromancy, but there is no specific dark magic. There could be a cult outside of the 1 that practice a type of Magica that might be considered "dark" but that's about it. There is no ancient, dark, forbidden magic known to man.

• Mechadendrites - A set of mechanical arms, allowing Xavius to perform many tasks at once. These are directly linked into his nervous system, but are connected to a mechanical part of his brain, allowing each arm to perform different tasks without being distracted.
• Intern Voxel-channel - A communicator directly implanted into Xavius his ear and mouth, allowing him to communicate with other who also have access to voxel Techonolgy.
• Bionic eyes - Xavius' his face is mostly replaced with mechanical stuff. One of those things are his eyes. No longer organic, they are pure mechanical, allowing him to switch to several vision modes. Thermal, Night-vision, enhanced zoom and Electro-magnetic.

@Desire Most of his flesh has been replaced by machine. He is actually more machine then man by now. His heart is like... 80% mechanical driven too.
I can downgrade his age if you want too. Though it would just be fun making him so old while being not any human anymore. :P

Abilities: The Magic Missile is a basic application of magical force, magnified to extreme effect. Most bachelors of Magical Force can conjure up between one and five missiles. Sideney Tuffet, meanwhile, is capable of conjuring up to thirty. As part of their undergraduate education in Magical Force, students learn how to control the trajectory, speed, and composition of their Magic Missiles. The academic term for a chosen style or pattern of fire is called the MMDM, or "Magic Missile Delivery Method". Magic Missiles strike their foe with the same force as a thrown rock. Magic Missiles can take any shape the user wants, but are always no larger than a playground ball.

1- Spread Missile: After conjuring up the desired number of missiles, Sideney launches them in random directions. Sideney's Spread Missiles shoot directly away from him, regardless of their current position.

2- Rapid Missile: After conjuring up the desired number of missiles, Sideney launches them linearly at an increased velocity. The impact force of the Rapid Missile is the same as other Magic Missile Delivery Methods, but it is significantly more difficult to avoid.

3- Pattern Missile: If Sideney so desires, he can put effort into his missiles, and customize their shape, color, and movement pattern according to his tastes. Ensuring that these missiles maintain their shape and unique trajectory requires a large amount of effort and dedication, and so Sideney will only use this broad range of Magic Missile Delivery Methods when trying to impress someone else.

@Flynn Well I know, but the human parts would still decay like human parts do unless they were somehow supplemented in a way to reverse or slow the aging process. I get the concept, and it's cool, but if you can't find a way on a technology that would allow his human side to not age, I would your ask your age to be relevant to anything from 18-40 if you want to be anywhere near a physical prime.

@ScrapulaAccepted! But do realize, the increased age of your character will gain benefits mentally but will hurt his physical attributes. Most 67 year old man can't do great feats of strength or dexterity, but some can be quite knowledgeable. If you are okay with this, feel free to add your character sheet to the character section.
