So we come to the question I have for you guys. For the villains, would you like me to just post "incomplete" character sheets for them as they appear/become important for the arcs, or would you prefer to just keep track of it for yourselves, and then I post up complete character sheets as everything is revealed and they are either taken care/resolved with? Or is there some other idea you guys have that you'd like to see, when it comes to this kind of administrative crap? I'm willing to listen to your opinions on this, and go with the best thing for as many people as possible.

Also, what we do for me will also apply for you guys. So, in the case of secrets and the like whether for villains or heroes (or other), if you would prefer others not knowing until you reveal it don't include it in the character sheet, and we'll add it in when it's revealed. However, you still have to inform me of whatever it is, so that way I know and can approve of it, and also maybe implement it into the further plot.

Personally, I don't see metagaming as much of a problem in the advanced section, so I'll probably just put the story in a hider and give readers the option of spoiling it or not.

Edit: Birthday - Month and Day. Does this world use the same months and days as the real world? Also, any information on year present/needed?

@Ashgan Anyway, yeah, just use our calender system. You don't need a year, just refer to events in the past as "x years ago" or something like that.

Hey, this seems pretty neat! I do have a few questions...

1. Of the God Kings mentioned, how many of them are still alive and kicking it? Is it common knowledge what happened to each one?

2. If you got a dead God King, what happens to a person who was Remade? Do they go back to how they used to be, or are they still a fanatic?

3. How advanced is technology? Medieval fantasy where we get swords, spells, horses, and torches, or is it a little further ahead because "eh, magic"? Magic light bulbs? Magic trains? Magic flintlock pistols? Magic M60s with magic ACOG scopes!?

@Atrophy Hey, glad to see you're interested and you asked really good questions! Let me go through them one by one, as I can.

1. So the ones that aren't known to be dead are Levinata, Salye, Chrysanta, and Gamoh. The other ones were confirmed kills by the Gifted during the God King War. What happened to the four who survived, no one knows.

2. A person who was Remade by a God King who died had what could be summarized as a really, really bad time. Instant despair, descent into insanity, all that good stuff. Theoretically, with the one who had power over them dying, a Remade person could go back to being something similar to how they were before.... But not many, if any, made it. Most probably committed suicide, or threw themselves against the Rebellion to get killed in battle.

3. It varies throughout the world. Jasi is where the magic and tech are farthest ahead and most "fused." In the rest of the world though, for the most part it's medieval fantasy with a few amenities here and there. For example, in Barcea they have some running water, especially in the Capitol/castle, basic stuff like that. But, to the furthest extent, once again being Jasi, they've started getting into magic firearms and the like, and airships as well. For the rest of the world, not so much.

Alright, so here's the daily update. Not a long one today, and you're about to see why. Wasn't able to get much new character/NPC work done today because I had an exam, but I'm gonna work on them as much as I can tonight. However, I've gotten the "prelude" elements of the first IC post fairly finalized, stuff that hints to later plots and deeper lore. Other than that, I've got the post in the Character Thread in a rough organization of how I'll be presenting everything, at least divided by sections. Monday is always my worst day school-wise, so I should be able to get a lot more done now.

Hey guys, time for the daily update! So, today I finished all the characters I'll hopefully need for the first arc. The number currently sits at twenty-one. Thankfully, I won't have to rewrite all of these for the next arcs, just update as necessary. The page count for these characters sits at 27 pages when I just straight copy and paste them in, so I have plenty of work to do when it comes to spellchecking and editing. Right now, all of my characters sheets feel like they're at a minimum, so as I can I'll be fleshing out everything before I post them up. Since not all of these characters will be appearing at once, that means it won't be holding up the roleplay when everyone is ready to go.

As you can all see, our number slowly but steadily grows, which is great. I'm really looking forward to us. Some people are already done with their characters, which is awesome. Some aren't yet, but this is just fine, because I'm not really in a rush. I want you guys to feel comfortable and proud of your characters, so I'm completely fine with being patient. However, as a favor to me, I'd like everyone to check in and let me know how far they are with their character, and some basis of an idea if possible, so that I can more thoroughly prepare the start of the roleplay.

My next goal for myself is to go through all of these characters of mine and get everything properly edited, followed by maybe getting some character sheets up of my own characters that I will definitely be starting with, and maybe some of those from you all, who are already done. I'm really happy with what I'm seeing so far and all of the questions that have been asked, and am extremely excited to get started.

Well, it took me the greater part of the day but after trashing my first duder, spending a gross amount of time getting distracted by diving into Wikipedia (if you guys want to know the history of scabbards I got you), drinking ~3 cups of coffee, and watching only a handful of Youtube videos of people shooting arrows into meat I finally finished my character! :D

Anyway! Daily update time! Did some work on the Character tab, getting it ready to go to accept entries. I also went and sent all of my character sheets through a spell checker, and worked on expanding some of them, just so you guys have more detail. However, after doing twenty-one character sheets in four days I started going a little stir-crazy, so I transferred my focus towards the first post instead, and got another part of it done.

After today, I'm gonna stop including people in mentions that haven't sent me anything yet, or communicated in some way. Not much to worry about, though, just to make things a little more efficient. And once the roleplay actually gets started the daily updates will stop completely, and I'll only tag everyone in whatever updates I have to make that pertain to the whole roleplay.

So then! Something else I'll need from you guys. Though I can infer from character sheets about what your characters might be up to at the beginning of the roleplay, I'd much prefer to hear it directly from all of you. So, in PM or here or however, please inform me about how you want your character to start the roleplay, such as where and details like that, so I can work on continuing the intro as I need to.

Daily update time!

I've gone about adding to the first post the details necessary for those that have planned with me for the start. Other than that, I've added the names of the leaders of the three major Eastern nations, since they'll be important and I'm sure I've already mentioned them anyway.

Pretty sure we're getting close to being ready to start. It hasn't even been a week yet, so I'm fine with that.

Anyway, update for today is also gonna be brief. I'm going to start putting the completed character sheets I've gotten from people into the character thread, along with a few of my own when I get to them. For now what I've got for the intro seems to be done, until I get more information from anyone who gives it. I'd like to get started this weekend, so if we can that'd be great.

Hey everyone! Haven't done too much yet today, today was a homework/paper day, but the night is still young. Anyway, if possible, I'd like to get started tomorrow.

I'll be posting up whatever character sheets I have soon, and with my own post up those who will be present at the beginning. Mine are about a page long each, so please forgive that shortness for the fact that I have over thirty at this point. Not proud of myself for it, but just the sheer number of characters finally got to me and my head started spinning.

Anyway, everyone please try to get their character sheets done as soon as possible if they aren't yet, because I'm sitting at about a 90% chance of starting tomorrow!

Aaaaand the first post is up, we're rolling!

Besides my own characters, I also posted details that tell the situations in various regions, depending on what was requested and planned with me. Those in Barcea, especially on the roads/away from civilization right now, can sort of think of my characters as a rallying point for the time being. For those who start elsewhere, the private plots you go through and circumstances that you'll experience will lead you to join up with everyone soon enough.
