Tatooine
Dune Sea

Raan Koltas looked down at the small group of destroyed speeders from his hiding spot atop one of the many sand dunes that made up the Dune sea and narrowed his eyes. If he arrived only a few minutes earlier he could have saved the people who had moments ago been brutally butchered by the group of thugs who called themselves Sith. To be fair, they weren't that far off from being actual Sith but true sith didn't see the need to torture people simply for the fun of it. The group of people traveling through the Dune Sea hadn't sought conflict with anyone. They had fled for the simple reason that one of them had crossed a sith trooper and had feared for their lives afterward.

Remember the code...He thought to himself.

There is no Dark Side, nor a Light Side
There is Only the Force
I will do what I must to keep balance in the universe
The balance is what drives me
There is no good without evil,
There is passion, Yet peace
Serenity, Yet emotion
Chaos, Yet order
Death, yet the force

Raan forced himself to look away and he sighed heavily and started down the other side of the dune to try and find his speeder so he could return to the Sith occupied town of Anchorhead.

I wish I still had my ship. He thought to himself as he caught sight of his speeder and walked towards it. It was a futile wish however, his ship had been foolishly left alone and by the time Raan had returned to his ship a week ago all the major components and other necessary parts had been stolen. He was stuck on this force forsaken planet and he had no one but himself to blame.

Davad saw the Jedi across the Dune Sea, and made no attempt to mask his own presence. He could go undetected if he wanted, even to a Jedi, unless they were actively looking for him. But he had been alone for a long time now, and sought some sentient interaction, even if it was a fight.

He stood at the top of a dune himself, looking out at the form. The suns were to his left, so both would be easily visible to each other, and as soon as the Jedi sensed him, he was sure to come investigate.

Tatooine had its dangers, and there was an Imperial presence here, but it was a wild planet, and there were large enough stretches of barren empty desert that it was easy to get lost in them, and that served one well when being lost was their desire.

Come on, he thought at the form, bending his aimless anger toward what he took to be a Jedi, Bring your foolish monk ideas my way.
