I have been, for the past hour, writing up the everything for SOUL. Then I might do the everything for SS, but that remains to be seen.

I will post it here when Prince says it's good to go as a faction.

@Prince of SeraphsThere was talk of you deciding who goes in what cell and what are the factions and who is in which. I recommend you take the time until we start the game to make this whole topic much more clear and straightforward. There were several propositions, me included, to create factions in prison. I recommend factions similar to what real prison is like - with race/ethnicity/culture/language/religion as the deciding factor but you can turn it on its head and make it so that certain factions only accept metas with certain types of superpowers.

@Prince of Seraphs Will you be organizing and putting the people who want to be in factions in different factions? Since I wanted Orihime to be in a faction, will you be putting her and maybe some other characters in to factions? I think I sound a bit confusing, but I hope you understand what I mean.

The factions are more of a personal choice, very few people survive without them but choosing one is sort of a compromise between what your character would willingly do for them, what they can do for you, if you wish to join them and if they want you in the group. I think @RadioactiveRat is right. The different factions would be not completely but at least partially based on race/ethnicity/culture/language/religion etc though while that would be part of it I think a bigger part would be the kinds of abilities people have. @Vocab hasn't given me any details on the requirements of joining SOUL but he mentioned that there rival group is composed of tech/electric/mechanical/physics users. I will be choosing room assignment but I will not be deciding factions for anyone. You're free to create factions and send the details to me for approval. I'd be happy to give anyone some examples and help with a faction they are working on but if I design them myself it's going become me figuring out how many of each character's power I can jam under one label which is not really what I want.

@Prince of Seraphs that is correct. The newly named SIGN faction is a group primarily focused on those with abilities that require calculations and are more to do with mechanics/technology. The leader of this faction is called Jason Reed, who has the ability data manipulation. (It's on the superpower wiki under datakinesis I think).

Anyway the only requirement for SOUL is that you must succeed in a fight specially designed for allowing new members in. The new initiate must fight a group of 3 Soldiers (the second lowest rank in SOUL) whilst the ability dampening field is on. They must live for 3 minutes without being incapacitated or killed. Apart from that all people are allowed to join as long as they can succeed the test ^_^

Also thanks. Hate to break the whole "anonymous" thing but I thought of that quote. I did look it up to see if it already existed and it didn't so why the hell not. Ill have to look for that story though.

Alright, these are the cell assignments. I used a random number generator for everything except packaging Gloria and Edmund (the teleporter) together. So no favorites were played, this was all completely random. I used the list of characters from the CT so if you weren't on there you'll have to PM me about a room assignment.

It seemed to me that it was a little ridiculous for all of our characters to perfectly fill out cells without anyone else involved so I threw in about as many random prisoners as there were RPers. If any group has the word RANDOM, in one of there slots it means it is an NPC not particularly relevant to the plot. If you wish to fill in an NPC confer with your Cellmates but they will not be coming with us on our escape. My sincere apologies to @Solita for the room assignment It was just the luck of the draw.

@Prince of SeraphsSounds good. Lots of RPs have done the "supers forced to join together" thing. I don't think I've seen one with them in prison and it will help the group dynamics if we have well defined history with each other.

I'm wondering if Clovis would ever join a faction. I mean, I know he prefers to be alone, staying in his own little corner, and most likely smart enough to avoid too much trouble. However, not being in a faction would be detrimental to one's health, but I don't think Clovis would allow himself to be ordered around by another person, his ego would be too big. Also, I don't think he would ever try to start a new faction due to his new arrival and age, and even making one in the early stages would be easily shut down by the stronger and older factions. So, should I make Clovis independent? It seems that it is pointing towards that direction.

Edit: I don't know, maybe he could suck up his pride and join a faction? It's like, he really isn't a team player, and will only do things that would benefit himself. So, would benefiting himself be by not getting randomly shanked? I'm actually having real trouble with this part.

@Invisible Man That would be my advice as well. Gloria has paid a heavy price for remaining independent. But he has deep seated emotional and personal issues that negate her ever relying on someone in any meaningful way. If you're character's just too arrogant to want to be ordered around you're best bet would be to use the faction like a shield but stay as independent as possible.

Yeah, that would make sense. Though, finding the right faction would be hard. If he joins the wrong one, he will most likely butt heads with the leader sooner or later for his decisions and get himself killed. He would know better than to do that, but he has a rather strict code in his morality, he knows what lines he would never cross.
