Name: Brea Moirai
Age: 25
Previously affiliation: The Grand Sol Duchy
Description: Brea stands 5'7 with a sturdy toned frame. She has long brunette hair that she usually has up in a ponytail. Her eyes are sea green that have an intensity that let others know she is not an easy target. Her skin is a light mocha color and for the most part soft. She has many scars on her body indicating the rough life that she has had. The most notable scar is the one that is across her left eye, which has left partly blind in that eye. She wears a special eye wear to enhance her vision in that eye that's partly blind.
She is a tough girl and isn't one to be pushed around, for the most she is quiet as she doesn't like having too much drama.
Skills: Brea is a jack of all trades, she can do it all. But to say that she is amazing in all the fields of work she has done would be giving her way more credit than is necessary. She is in no way great in everything, but she tries her hardest and is a fast learner. If you need an extra pair of hands for something then Brea is one to call, as there is a good chance she has done it before.
But what she lacks is people skills, as she is not always sure how to talk to them.
Biography:
Brea was born in a mining colony on Pluto to a whore, who didn't care much for having a child. Though the planet was labelled as a mining facility, it had little resources to offer and so soon became a place of entertainment and crime.
With that said, it is easy to tell that Brea had a tough up bringing as she was raised by the community more so than her own mother. But that was how most kids on the little planet were brought up, and in truth she doesn't think her childhood was that bad. Yes she wish she had more of her mother's attention and actually knew who her father was. Any child would want those things if they were deprived of them. From an early age though she learned not to feel sorry for herself as she could of been a slave or a begger. Luckily her mother cared for her enough to at least feed and clothe her and give her a pretty name, but that was as far as her mother would go to show any kindness or affection.
When Brea turned thirteen her mother was beaten to death by a drunk client. This both enraged and devastated her, as even though her mother wasn't kind she still loved her. She wanted revenge and tried to get it by hiring a local assassin, or so claimed to be. The man took what little money Brea could offer, but instead of doing what he was payed to do he went and told the man that she wanted him dead. At hearing this the man that killed her mother laughed and thought to pay Brea a visit.
Brea was playing with a few friends when the man came around, he asked which one placed a hit on him. Without missing a beat Brea stepped forward, she was without fear, or at least appeared to be. The man smiled as he looked down at the little awkward girl who was just hitting puberty. "Bold little thing aren't ya?" He asked, though his speech was slightly slurred which made it evident that he was a little drunk. Brea didn't say anything but looked at the man with her intense green eyes, if looks could kill he would of dropped dead right then and there. The man grew annoyed, hating the way that she looked at him. He struck her with the back of his hand so hard that her little frame went flying. Her head hit hard on a dirty crumbling metal wall, pain bloomed from both sides of her face. One from being hit and the other from connecting with something sharp. She could feel a warm sticky liquid running down the left side of her face. She was confused at first as she pushed herself back up and looked back towards the man, but she couldn't see him or at least not properly. All she could see was his large form coming towards her in a rage. But he never made it to her as something from the shadows appeared, she tried to watch, to see who was helping her but she was dizzy and the pain kept her from focusing.
Next thing Brea could remember waking up on an old mat in a dark room or she thought is was dark. Whoever had taken her in had covered both her eyes in a bandage. "I wouldn't do that, you need time to heal." Came a voice that held a degree of coldness it also sounded different than a humans. She wished to see who was in the room with her, but her head still hurt and the tone of the male voice told her that she was better off just keeping the bandage on. Without saying a word she laid back and fell into a dreamless sleep.
She didn't know how long she slept for, all she knew was that when she woke again her bandage was repositioned so that her good eye was able to see around her. She was in a an old dirty apartment with little to no furniture. That was when she noticed a rather imposing figure sitting cross legged in the middle of the room staring at her. She stared back at the creature that was obviously not human.
She would find out later that the one that saved her was known as Moirai and he was part of the Brotherhood of Mahrl. Though he didn't care much for humans, he had seen something in the little one and so saved her from a sure death. Moirai made it clear that she was free to leave, but if she wanted he could train her to be stronger. Brea was never one to be weak and the offer to be stronger in any sense was one she couldn't resist. So she stayed.
Moirai trained the girl in everything that he knew, but it came clear early in her training that she didn't excel in any one thing. Indeed there were things that she completely failed at, but she tried and that was all he asked for. When she turned eighteen Moirai left her, there was no sobbing farewells or any show of affection, but then she was use to that. All he said when he left was that the Brotherhood of Mahrl needed him and she was ready to be on her own and that she would do well to get off the little planet as there was nothing for her there.
She stayed on the planet for a year and realized that Moirai was right, there was nothing for her there, so she took the next shuttle off. Now to say she paid to get on would be wrong, as she stole her way onto the small ship. She was only on the ship for a day (24hrs) when she was found. A fight broke out when she was found but she was quickly dispatched when the crew figured out she had trouble seeing from her left eye. The captain of the vessel was impressed with her ability to keep fighting even with the disadvantage. He kept her on the ship and offered to make her part of the crew. She accepted. When asked her name she gave it, but they wanted her last name as well. She never had a last name as her mother didn't want to have any more connection than what was needed. Brea smirked slightly as she looked at the captain, "Moirai , my name is Brea Moirai."
She didn't stay with them for long, only a few months. She then traveled around the known galaxies doing odd jobs, getting in fights, learning new things, you name it she has done it. When the offer came she was on some planet she didn't bother learning the name of. She nursing a wound she got from a brawl that most likely turn to a scar. Two men dressed in uniforms too nice to have been the locals, came and handed her a package. She opened it to find a letter written by Moirai, how did she know it was from him? She just knew. The letter told her that great trouble was coming and that she would be needed as an extra pair of hands.
She couldn't deny an old friend and teacher, she then looked up the ship name he had given her. Even though she wasn't as talented as some of the others on the ship, she was Fearless or put on a good front of being so.
