"Without confidence how can one prepare to face the forces of evil." Cody replied with a shrug. There was a thin line between cockiness and self-confidence, so Cody could say that one or the other could easily be misinterpreted by anyone.
Glancing over at Loki with a raised eyebrow, Cody chuckled.
"Someones a little rude, threatening someone without even giving your own name." Cody replied as he stared him in the eye. Cody wasn't going to back down simply because some brute tried to threaten him physically.
"If you wanna throw down, I am more than happy to oblige. A hero should always keep their reflexes sharp, and their fighting skills up to scratch." Cody replied smugly.

@Lunarlors34@BlackPanther@The Irish Tree Megan frowned. "Don't threaten my friends wanna be." Her tone was icy and her glare towards Cody like stone. She had just about enough of him. "If you want to fight, then you can fight me." Megan continued to glare down at him. Her stance confident.

"Threaten? He's the one threatening me, I am merely saying that if he wishes to fight I am happy to oblige. Tell me what about that is threatening...other than fighting a hero of course." Cody replied with a shrug as he looked towards her with a grin.
"I am more than happy to fight you as well. At the same time, a hero doesn't back down regardless of the odds." Cody replied as he continued to wear his wide grin.

@Lunarlors34@BlackPanther@The Irish Tree Megan began gritting her teeth, fighting back the urge just to punch Cody in the nose. She took a deep breath and turned around, slowly walking away. No point in provoking him. If they fought then she'd just wind up burning everything down and that's not really what she wanted happening. Especially since if she does so then she was most likely to hurt Loki and Atticus, not the best way to keep friends.

Cody shrugged as Megan turned and left, but couldn't help making one last retort.
"As expected, all bark no bite." Cody said as he turned to Atticus.
"You seem to be the only one around willing to have a conversation." Cody said with a sigh. He didn't know what everyone else's problem was.

@Lunarlors34@BlackPanther@The Irish Tree Megan stopped dead her tracks at the retort. She then spun around quickly, hurtling a ball of fire at Cody. Flames quickly leapt up around her, flickering and crackling around her. She was now really angry and wasn't afraid to show it, but the even though the fire was practically white hot, didn't seem to do any harm whatsoever to Megan herself. The flames just burnt the ground around her and maybe a few unfortunate plants and insects that were too close to her.

Atticus opted to remain silent for most of the arguing, unsure about what the heck was going on. What was so bad about someone wanting to be a hero? He didn't really understand it at all, but it kinda felt like...no one was in the right here. At all. That especially became true once Loki was trying to pick a fight with the guy, and Megan started walking away. Wanting to just drop it, he shuddered a bit as he felt the hall heat up. Megan...said she had fire magic. Turning his head just enough to see her form the fireball, Atticus acted fast, faster than even he could have expected, quickly unwrapping his bird-shit covered jacket from his waist and tossing it at the massive fireball, standing between it and Cody afterwards.

Cody glanced up at the incoming fireball.
Well damn. But heroes don't panic, if one wished to play the magic game, Cody had magic of his own.....what was it again? Oh right, storm magic. He had almost forgot his own magic.
Putting his hand up he willed the winds to pick up, which they did. It put out the fireball...but for them to be that strong the wind also blew Loki, Megan, Atticus and Cody himself in random directions as well.

Megan froze when she saw Atticus standing in the path of the ball of fire. She gritted her teeth as she forced it to dissipate, gasping for air afterwards. The flames around her quickly disappeared. That was her second violent outburst of energy that day and it was not really healthy for someones body to use that much energy. She leant on her knees as she continued to gasp for air, her shoulders trembling. Megan looked as though she was just about to topple over but she tried her hardest not to.

Loki sees the fire and reacts. His fire phobia kicking in with a vengeance. Bones start audible snapping and reshaping as he clutched his head and screams. The scream shifts into a roar as his vocal cords snap and reshape. When the wind blows him into a random direction he lands on all fours as a large black panther. He doesn't look angry though, his yellow eyes are wide open with fear.

"YOU all STOP with FIGHTING NOW! Or.." the voice turned normal. "you all shall be punished for hurting fellow students and scaring them and not least destroying school property." the voice paused. A young looking female walked by and stopped near the students who where making trouble. The female looked at them one by one. The female was wearing a gothic Victorian dress and has long purple black hear that came to her knees. She stopped next to Magen and looked at her then she smiled at her. " That's a nice surprise to have. You are a special girl my darling. You could do so many things." the female paused and looked some more at Magen. "You also have a rare gift my dear be careful with that. Or something bad will happen." the female looked at Cody. "You, my boy would never become the hero that you want to be, that's not because you can't but because you will never achieve the power that you need." she walked closer to him and whispers to him: what you are doing now won't help you with what happens, you can't make it better or change that, but my dear son, you are better than this you only have to trust your ability more and you soon will know...

The female began to walk away from them. "DON'T FIGHT NOW, your punishment is not something that anyone want to get."

Loki cannot seem to register anyone at this moment. His large black head tilted down, whites of his eyes showing, ears pinned flat against his head. He is showing the animal signs of a scared animals to the point where he is not moving. His black fur would look beautiful if it wasn't standing up right a bit, his skin slightly visible from his fur being straight up. His tail is the only part of him moving as it swishes back and forth in fear.
His mind is back to the death of his parents, the fire that caused it all and the fear because of it. His fire phobia is extreme, causing him to go back to the memory and transform defensively.

Laughing as he eventually got back up, Cody ran his hands through his hair.
"That was AWESOME!" He said cheerfully as some unknown goth girl now seemed to tell them to stop fighting.
"She started it..." Cody mumbled under his breath as narrowed his eyes in confusion towards her as she said he couldn't be the hero he wanted to be. Who was she to be saying this?
He was about to make a retort before she suddenly leaned in close to him and whispered into his ear and went silent. He sat there for a few moments to let the information digest before leaping up to his feet.
"No-one tells a hero what they can or cannot be, I'll show you! As long as there is darkness I will be there to vanquish it!" Cody declared boldly before running off.

@Lunarlors34@BlackPanther@The Irish Tree Megan sighed slightly as she watched Cody run off. Its the right thing to do Megan and you know it. She thought as she gave chase, much slower now. She had used way so much energy today, she barely had enough to keep herself conscious let alone run after someone who had just pissed her off, but she managed to keep going.

He stopped as he rounded a corner so he could lean on the corner and catch his breath.
What did people have against him wanting to be a hero anyway? What was so wrong about it? Cody slammed a fist against the wall before taking another deep breath.
"Heroes don't lose their cool...they remain calm and composed." Cody mumbled to himself as he let his heart rate go down. He didn't hear nor notice Megan catching up to him.

She then sat down as she tried to catch her breath. "Ran too soon" She continued as she rubbed her eyes, not having seen Cody as of yet.

Cody sighed. Suppose he should go find something to do then.
He went back round the corner he had arrived from and bumped straight into Megan, knocking them both onto their butts. Cody, being the more energetic of the two at this stage, was the first to react and went to help her up.
"I am sorry, I wasn't watching where I was...oh it's you." Cody started to apologise before realising it was Megan. What did she want now? Despite his obvious dislike for her at the moment, he would probably forget about it later. It also didn't stop him from helping her back to her feet.

@Lunarlors34 Megan muttered a small thanks as he helped her up, she looked as though she was about to pass out. She looked Cody in the eye, the bags beneath her eyes much more prominent. "I was acting rather irrational earlier on. So sorry I guess." She spoke softly as she leant on her knees again*

Cody was shocked her apology. He wasn't expecting this.
"There's no need to apologise, a hero should have the temperament to avoid fights. I have a lot to learn I suppose." Cody replied with a wide, sheepish grin.
Noticing that she was barely holding herself up, he grabbed her by the shoulders to steady her.
"Oi you ok?" He asked, his voice laced with concern.
