Dead Week has come hard, and I crashed right after a day full of Calculus, and work haha. But I also have the good old case of the "No Sleepies" so I'm going to get right on that Recap!

SEATTLE:

Freya (CandiBarr), invited the two strangers that were listening in to the room in. Wepwawet (Argetlam) enters a bit uncertain, and asks if Freya is alone. Quetzalcoatl (Raijin) answers saying that she is not, but they are strangers. Freya then comments that if Wepwawet means any harm, they wouldn't hesitate to end him... So Wepwawet decides to take the friendly approach and become their ally, and says that it was the firs time he has seen animals since he woke up. They are currently waiting for Xuan Wu (Crazy Doctor) to make his appearance from hiding.

NEW YORK:

Poseidon and Anubis (Kronshi) help Hades (Kaithas) fight the enemies in the graveyard. They have a conversation after, where Poseidon and Hades start to feel some sort of familiarity towards each other, and Anubis mistakes Hades for his father, Osiris. Hades says that he has him confused with someone else, and at this time, NuWa (Crimmy) follows the sound of fighting and sees the three men talking. They give small introductions until a large and inhuman scream appears, and they take refuge in an abandoned building. A large half man half bull creature comes into the graveyard, demanding the Sea God to come out of hiding so he can take his revenge.

PHOENIX:

Set (Raijin) and Persephone (Akaya) talk a bit after Set saves Persephone from the raiders, with a little bit of flirting haha. Set shows some of his powers, and asks Persephone if she had a camp nearby. She says she doesn't remember, but she points in a certain direction off to the horizon, saying she needed to go that way, as if something was pulling her towards there. Ciocal (Tyrant) drove off with a motorcycle and has yet to find anyone, as well as Ymir (Minimum). Artemis (Potato) has escaped from her creepy prison, and has yet to find anyone as well.

CHICAGO:

Atlas came across a man carrying a young calf, asking weird and creepy questions. Meanwhile Bast (Phaesaris) and Scorn (Argetlam) encountered eachother and found that they had the passion for cats in common (although that seemed to be it hahaha), they chase after a cat where they cross paths with Atlas, who at this time has discovered that the man and calf aren't what they appear to be. The man turns into a crocodile-human hybrid who is very large, and the calf turns into a Sphinx. Bast and Scorn, feeling a bit of sympathy and familiarity towards both Atlas and the Sphinx, come to the aid of Atlas, and start to attack the two beasts!

I've been thinking about people feeling that way to this RP, and I have an idea to kinda have this universal "task" or each group, like one being calling them out and challenging them. Hopefully that'll give people some sort of inspiration and find that spark that made them interested in the RP in the first place haha

I thought so too. I genuinely wanted to see how her character developed. Granted, the series is supposed to be just a trilogy like the Kane chronicles, but still.

I really enjoyed that book! I'm a huge Percy Jackson fan, so it felt really refreshing to read a story in the first person by a sarcastic and heroic hero like Percy again haha, and it taught me a bit more about Norse mythology! Haha

It's a Friggin good book. I was Hela pumped when a certain cousin showed up, and I'm Loki getting ready for Trails of Apollo and the crossover stories. ;D

Still, I hope we get to see more if Gunilla, as she was looking like she could be the Rena of this series. I really don't think Rick would leave a character so under-developed. I also found it interesting that Rick gave us a Middle Eastern daughter of Loki who's also a Valkyrie.

Not sure how O feel about her just yet, but I'm glad that she's not going to be Magnus' love interest(at least, not easily).

Who are your favorite characters? Mine were Magnus and Hearthstone( if his name isn't some sort of in-joke I'll buy my own candy-cane scarf and eat it)

I genuinely hope that Sam and Magnus don't get together. I'm tired of the whole two main protagonists fall in love shtick in adventure books. Plus, I see them having a brother-sister relationship with Blitz and Hearth as parent figures.

Sam is one of my favorites so far. You don't see many good Muslim protagonists, and the way she's portrayed makes me love her so much.
Hearth is so sarcastic, especially when they were with Thor (who I can't help but relate too... *pitiful sigh*). I want his scarf, especial since it's Christmas-sy time.

I agree, so lets hope that Rick breaks off from that cliche.

Thor was an interesting take on the god, but then again, it makes sense that he'd need some form of entertainment to keep him from losing his mind fighting giants all the time.

Question, where would you wish to go in the Norse afterlife, Valhalla or Volkswagen?
