As soon as the bus stopped, Chiari woke up from their nap, if it could even be called that. Everything was so loud...it placed them in more of an oddly meditative state than actual sleep. At least they hadn't been bothered, though they had almost been crushed with other peoples' belongings a couple of times. It wasn't too terrible, actually, though they'd be lying outright if they said they didn't mind even a bit.
Just because they had dealt with more uncomfortable spaces, didn't mean they were okay with them.
...Of course, they still had to get out of this bag.
Before they could actually plan to do so, unfortunately, the sound of the compartment opening and items being moved made them freeze up. They couldn't leave while someone was here! They didn't even know who this person was, so who knew what they'd do if they found them just pushing their way out of the luggage so suddenly.
No, it would be better to lie low. They just had to wait for this new person to grab their bags and... Huh?
Why are they lifting this one?! This is my bag!
As much as they tried not to panic, the white-haired youth still couldn't stop the tiny squeak that escaped their mouth when the bag actually was dropped. Eyes widening at their mistake, they clamped their hands to their mouth as if they could shove the noise back in. Stupid...I let my guard down! They'll hear me!
