To my old master,
By the time you read this, I will be long dead. When the sun rises, the tyrant king will invade my city. I believed in you, master. You gave me a shimmer of hope as you spoke the prophecy. Well now I wish I didn't. You were wrong, the prophecy is wrong. The children of destiny are never coming, we are alone in this world, and we have no choice but to suffer.
Goodbye, my old master.

The Prophecy
Was never wrong!

When all hope is lost, eight children of destiny will be born under the elemental gods. Protected and hidden within the magically enchanted places of old. When the destined children intertwine, the tyrant king will fall. The ancient places of old. Said to be hidden and protected by magic. Only those destined allowed to pass through.

Hidden in the Skies.

Lost in the Ocean Bottom
Mountains all Around.
Hidden Within Thor's Rod.
Safe upon the Hands of God
Living within the Dead.
Trapped within a Pit.

When all hope is lost, the children of destiny will rise, and the tyrant's tyranny will end.

Personality: Optimistic, kind hearted and thirsty for knowledge, Roxana embodies a perfect scribe in many ways. In her years of study and work for priesthood, she has worked in the fields of Linguistics and History, and is very learned on the pre-King ages from ancient sources and documents.

Bio: The Independent Theocracy of Mt. Cherna was established following the invasion and annexation of The Republic of Mithras. When Mithras was captured, the State Religion of The old republic was outlawed, and the Clergy fled to Mt. Cherna to escape persecution. Isolated from the rest of the world, and slowly being starved into submission and surrender by the King's forces and seiges, this was the enviroment that Roxana was born into. Roxana is a 3rd generation Chernite, and has just completed her trials to move from a Scrib to a Lesser Priestess. While a Scribe, Roxana developed a morbid curiosity for the world beyond her monastic home, reading through old records of a world long gone. On her 16th birthday, the adventure linguist made a case to the high priests to allow her to leave Mt. Cherna and go into the unknown. While her plea was refused initially, the girl managed to reverse the argument into one of research, and through barganing, She has managed to get the clearance to leave the mountain.

Their religion is solar in nature, with solstices as high holidays, and a calendar based on the movements of the sun.

For example you can search 'Mental Powers' and it will give you all mental based powers such as psychic and pyrokinesis. You don't have to edit, but it would be a good idea. You are accepted and can put your character in the character section.

Personality: Adogeon is a quiet person who prefers to not talk about himself. Instead he'd rather listen and let other people do the talking. He at times can be a wallflower. It is said that his eyes can stare into your soul(figuratively). He's a very trustworthy person always known to do what he says. When working in groups he is known to never give up and never leave a person behind.

Bio: Abandoned as a child Adogeon was left in a forest to die. But was found after a day wandering in the woods by a Ranger who soon became his father. His father taught him the ways of the Ranger, teaching him skills such as tracking, lock picking, hunting and gathering, archery and swordplay as well as several other useful skills. At the age of ten Adogeon fire element became known. His father took him to a local mage who knew a few tricks. The mage told his father how to help him hone in on his skills and some techniques to learn. After spending a week there they left to go back into the woods. There his father kept increased Adogeon's training schedule making it harder and harder as the weeks went on. After several of training and working with his father, Adogeon became a full fledged ranger. He and his father worked together helping stop criminals and bandits who made their home in the woods. A year after becoming a ranger, he and his father were walking a old smugglers route when they were ambushed by several bandits. The bandits managed to knock two arrows and hit his father in the upper chest. Adogeon was able to kill them before anything worse happened. After the bandits death Adogeon carried his father back to a small river where they were staying. His father died before reaching the camp. Adogeon would lay him to rest at the camp then would continue with his journey. He went through his father's items taking some mainly his pipe, cloak and a few other items that would be of use to him. While going through his father's items he found a note telling of a prophecy that eight elementals would be the ones to take down the tyrant king. Adogeon knew he was one of them. He'd have to find the others and take down the king. The goal sounded almost impossible. Once he had everything he needed he packed them and left his dead father at the now abandoned camp.

Friends: none, only sort of attachment are the other people who are rangers and even then they are just allies.

Second, this thing about guardians and elementalists having powers - are these literally any sort of superpower? Is there limits of some sort? And do the guardians know what or who they are guarding or do they stumble onto the job via some sage NPC that knows about the elementalists? Are there any established kingdoms, lands, or cultures? Different races? I'm just trying to figure this all out before even attempting a CS.

(Also, the is the creepiest signature I've ever seen. o.o)

@The One I kept the telepathic aspect but added in elements of mind control when certain conditions are met

On one who is equal or greater to her in terms of will power and mental fortitude, she will only be able to communicate, with the ablity to have strong levels of suggestion when linked to someone near her own level. When linked to a person with weaker will power, she will find her persuasion and influence become stronger, nearing levels of mind control. At their most powerful, when dealing with someone half as powerful as herself, Roxana can fully overpower her linked host and possess their body, turning them into a puppet until she chooses to release them, essentially allowing her to eliminate, weak minded, easily persuaded henchmen by turning them against their masters. "

@lydyn Romance is allowed. Feel free to try and romance any of my characters. As for Guardians, there are people born with supernatural powers. They can have anything that doesn't give full control over an element. They can also use certain types of magic, such as Necromancy, Blood Magic and Voodoo.

Guardians can be done several ways. A guardian may know the prophecy, and therefore, know that they are destined to be a guardian one day, they may decide to seek out the elemental ones.

Or, they may know about their powers but not of the prophecy. The reverse could be true too. Or could you have it so they haven't discovered their power yet and will have them discover it in the Rp.

@Nerevarine It is an interesting idea, but it won't play out very well, as not many people will state their will power. So it will be hard to determine who is stronger, and honestly, I don't see it being used much.

@RangingWolf This is an original idea. Although, there are a few versions of it, as it has been remade a few times.

Personality: Viktus is a friendly person but can also quite serious. His duties for his resistance group have made him calm and empathetic towards others. He has dealt with many challenges in his life to make him question but Viktus believes in the prophecy of the eight elementals and it keeps him going through these challenging times.

Bio:
Viktus was born into a modest family of bakers, who lived in Old Intari, the Capital city of the Invalium Empire. Invalium was located in a fertile stretch of land between two mountain ranges in the far west. Old Intari was located at the end of a valley, where the mountains met, protecting it from behind but also making it a fortified fortress. The people were deeply connected with the land and were renown healers, gifted in the arts of mending organic material for better use.

Around the age of sixteen, the Invaliums came under siege from the forces of the Tyrannical King, who sought domination over the world. His father, Tyrus and older brother Karth, were conscripted into the 43rd Battalion of his majesty, Emperor Jamus II. This battalion would fight on the frontlines, clad in steel armor and equipped with the finest weapons but it would not help them in the end.

At first the war was going well but it was not to last. Invaliums were prided on being a noble people who defended their livelihoods until the bitter end but eventually, as other kingdoms were sieged, trade roots died and a harsh winter drove the people hungry. The advancing enemy finally surrounded old Intari after a brutal siege which cost the lives of many brave men. The Tyrannical King himself burst open the iron gates and doomed the city to obliteration.

Viktus was twenty when the siege began, newly enrolled in combat training which would allow him to fight the hated enemy. Fate had other plans however, he was assigned to the 100th Battalion which was evacuating civilians through the many secret passages into the wilderness, constructed as a safety measure, in the final hours of Old Intari. His route led directly through the mountains and upon coming to the other side, the survivors were met with a harsh reality; they were now homeless and an endangered people. The King not only destroyed a people, but his forces salted the land and corrupted it. Invalium would never be habitable again and nowadays people simply call the area the Deadlands.

Viktus moved on, he lost his home, family and friends to the slaughter but he remained strong. If not for himself, for those that he lost and for one day that the prophecy would come true. Eventually the survivors drifted apart, deeming it unsafe to stay together, the Invaliums went their separate ways. Hate for the King grew in his heart over the years, as he saw the atrocities committed out of reckless evil and he had had enough. VIktus was twenty-eight when he and other like-minded individuals joined together, creating a resistance group called the Guardians.

Power: Viktus has the power of Life-Force Manipulation, and he can use that power to give himself a force-shield. As of right now, he can only use his Life-Force manipulation for himself.

You could do life force magic, and have it only control your own and not others. With that you can use do force field manipulation as well but make sure not to use life force manipulation to use elements. As elements are just for the chosen ones.
