This looks awesome :) nicely set up
@HushedWhispers You're welcome :)
The team ideas/traditions should be interesting
You know you've seen a @HushedWhispers roleplay before when you already have the character sheet format saved in your PMs... :D
This is gonna be a fun one I can feel it! I'll post a CS either tonight or tomorrow!
I'll get an app up tomorrow
@HushedWhispers
There's a broken indent tag in the personality section of the character sheet. Missing the / on the ending.
Also, just wondering: are the team leader's genders set in stone? Or can they be changed?
I'm interested! I'll probably have something tomorrow. Possibly later tonight
Cause I take forever to make CSssss, may I reserve a Gray team spot for a bit?
I made an application for the team leader of Team Purple. I hope that's okay (even though it's a male slot). I'll change it if not!
β Sometimes, you have to roll a hard six.β
- Commander Adama, Battlestar GalacticaT H E B A S I C S
|Name|Chastity Jackson
|Nickname|"Chase" β Adamantly refuses to use her birth name and hasn't been called that since she was eight. As far as she is concerned, such a ridiculous name isn't her own.
|Birth Date|February 14th, 1998
|Age|Eighteen
|Gender|Female
|Sexuality|Homosexual
|Sexually Active|No
|Relationship Status|Single
|Role|Team Leader
|Team Color|PurpleA P P E A R A N C E
|In Depth Appearance|Chase is very tall at 5'11" but still holding out for that extra inch of height so she can officially join the big leagues. She has an athlete's body β broad shoulders from swimming and otherwise trim muscles from track and her old skateboarding phase. It has been a sticking point for her that she isn't particularly womanly; flat-chested and without any curves whatsoever. The only feminine features she boasts are long eyelashes and big doe eyes.
Her most prominent characteristics are her strawberry-blonde hair and dark brown eyes, though a case could be made for the freckles that only become more obvious when under the sun for hours at a time. Chase tans well, looking like the stereotype of a Californian girl during the summer. Though her hair is long, she keeps it either up in a tight ponytail or in a severe bun hidden beneath her hat.
|Clothing Style|Chase will likely wear what she has for the past few years at camp: boy's cargo shorts, proper β expensive β running shoes and a purple t-shirt to show her team spirit. Naturally due to the California heat, she has also brought a snapback. Whilst she typically doesn't accessorise, this year she plans on making a statement with a simple rainbow wristband.
|Scars, Tattoos, Piercings|Chase has an assortment of scars from her skateboarding days, few of them noticeable without looking for them. Two stand out in particular. Because she wears shorts, the patchwork that is the skin of her left knee is easily visible, coming from a nasty hit and run when she was twelve. The second, one that runs along her jawline and crosses up her chin, is an old wound from a fight three years ago at summer camp.G E T T I N G T O K N O W M E

|Personality|β¦ Brave β¦ Honest β¦ Stoic β¦ Insecure β¦Chase is a stereotypical Purple camper. She has nerves of steel, rarely backs down from a dare and is often the first to volunteer for something that might be dangerous or involve defying death, even on a minor scale. Often she can get caught up in the swing of things and become quite mean-spirited, especially to those she feels as a threat in competitions, but there is usually an awkward apology at the end of it. Chase is honest with others and herself. She doesn't allow herself to get big-headed.
Of course, that could be because she has a nasty habit of tearing herself down β though, she supposes, it could be worse: she could be tearing others down instead. Chase is still very much caught up in a cycle of self-hatred, and whilst things are looking up, and she's finally on the way to finding and accepting her identity, there is still that nagging little voice (her mother's) that tells her she needs to do better. Furthermore, Chase has never been one to show emotion. She's not sure she can cry in front of people, or at all, really, and feels guilty just considering it. She keeps things bottled up inside until they become a problem.
|Place of Origin|Jacksonville, Florida; however, she lives with her father every summer in San Diego.
|History|Chastity Jackson β but only her mother calls her that β was born into a family that was very much ready to split. Her parents' marriage was one failure after another, and they expected having a child to fix that: thus, they planned to have a son. Fat chance of that. It took only two more years for them to split, her father moving to California and her mother staying in Florida with family.
A precocious kid, she was expected to do well in school, and she did... to a point. She was always a fan of sports, but the factor of grades were pushed to be the difference between success and failure. And boy, did Chase fear failure. Her grandparents ensured she took piano lessons, ballet (which she quit after a week) and all sorts of other activities until she finally settled on swimming, much to their dismay. Her mother remarried, and she barely saw her for another two years. Still, every summer without fail, she flew over to live with her father until the school term started.
At thirteen, she had her accident whilst skating and missed out on three months of school. Almost immediately upon her return, Chase was lost. Her grades slipped from As to Bs (and in some cases, Cs) and she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. As a last ditch attempt to try and lift her spirits, she was enrolled in a summer camp the following year.
And what a different it made. During the part of the year that she's not at camp, she's the captain of her school's swim team and a regular at track practice. Since then, Chase has been a recognisable member of Team Purple and fierce competition in everything sporting-related.
|Extra|One proud owner of a motorcycle, currently stowed away at her Dad's place.
We don't have a summer in Scotland...
|Theme Song|Talk About You β Mika
β'Cause living like this is risking all that I know
And if it kills me, that's the way I wanna go...β
looking into this, seems very interesting. Trying to figure out which place my character would fit best
