I think it's safe to say we'll be falling back behind the walls. I can't see a scenario where we'll be pushing back these armored giants.

That being said, I posted.

These ships, approximately what Bretons called sloops, or Corvettes, per Dominion designation, had two masts and a chimney on deck. Dull grey metals overlay much of of the hull, though the masts and parts of the decks were made from blackened wood. Their shapes were elongated ovals, with bulges in front and back the height of two story buildings serving as upper deck

Technically, Tamriel already reached space age 1000 years ago.

@gcold I hope we didn't lose too many Bothans this time around.

I'll try to get something up the next day or two when I've caught up a bit in sleep; I am still in the hospital and I swear every 2-3 hours around the clock somebody is coming around to talk to me/ poke me with needles/ take my vitals. Even 3 and 4 in the morning have been for the past week, without fail, wake the Derv to steal his lifeforce time.

But I love this giant thing; the past couple posts have been quite exciting reads! Gotta figure out how to make Do'Karth useful here without turning him into kitty paste from a Dark Souls reject.

Hard to think up a way to take down something bigger than Jorwen with a staff, ain't it? Put him up with the archers. Alternatively, Solveig and Cleftjaw are acting as bodyguards to Jorwen's wife. Maybe he should help there after Jorwen asks, seeing as Do'Karth is unarmored and holding a stick.

Best wishes to you, bud, hopefully you're feeling better now. Don't worry about getting posts in right now. Get as much rest as you need, we're not in any hurry and have plenty of time ahead.

Do'Karth is not entirelly useless, provided he stays behind melee guys. A lot of people are going to need serious fix-ups real soon.

Roze and I are almost finished with our collab. Just gotta add the finishing touches and it'll be up. I plan on having Sevine on the walls with Leif, even though he doesn't have a bow, he can act as a medic for the time being if anyone gets hurt.

Hey, to be fair, he can beat some ice chips off the artonachs for cocktails later!

I have a pretty good idea of what to write, but I think gcold has a pretty good point about triaging and fixing some giant smooshed schmucks in the near future... assuming they aren't immediately converted from man to raspberry jam via mauling.

That said, I don't think there's going to be a good amount of time for any healers to work while we have a very immediate and pressing threat. Gotta go fast!

No, but if your comrade falls beside you, and you need to get the hell out of there, I would want a medic close by to follow (; how do you think Sevine survived the war? She couldn't have done it all alone. Leif isn't a weakling when it comes to battle by any means.

If anything, I'm curious to see where this scenario goes next. I wasn't expecting armored ships, or frost atronachs, or Giants for that matter! Way to keep things interesting @gcold

Well, they aren't literal Giants. They're Kamal, but they're big. So big that Jorwen and a lot of the others reckon them giants.

And healing magic takes a lot out of a person and magic of any kind takes a lot of concentration and willpower. Find the guy with glowing hands who's healing folks and plant an axe in his head. I'd think any medicinal treatment is behind the walls. No ones going to be taking the chances of opening the gate to let out healers or bring in the wounded. Besides, the people that die by the hands of the enemies we're fighting are sure to be pretty darn dead. I'm talking chunky salsa or dismemberment.

I think that one medic per group would not be a bad idea. So long as they kept their healing limited to burst type spells instead of continuous and used weak attack magic as cover they might avoid drawing the big attention.
