Welcome to Omega

Long ago, upon the Geth's first steps beyond the Perseus Veil, Shepard's story began. He was a brave fighter, a fearless leader, and a masterful negotiator. He looked out for the galaxy's best interests, and made tough sacrifices. But when faced with the Reapers, he was a mere pawn, one soldier in an army, the only thing making him special was that conduit on Eden Prime. So this story focuses on the lives of those that played smaller roles, yet they held no lesser significance.

We start on Omega, a hub of criminal activity and the universal staple for anarchy. Built on the remains of an Eezo-rich asteroid, this was a place to strike it rich almost an eternity ago. Now, the derelict station is ruled by Aria T'Loak and kept in working order by those on her payroll. Those who stay know just how cutthroat this place can be, and fight for every scrap in an attempt to make a living. To some, this is a playground. To others, hell.

You've come here in search of fame and fortune. You may have succeeded, you may have failed. Either way, you need a way off this rock, and the only viable solution may just be a Turian with an intricate system of connections and a drug addiction. Good luck, you'll need it.

I'm thinking that since yours is the first reply to the OP, he probably is.

That said, count me in.

Okay, I sort of found a template, in the form of Sicari's CS. I'll put an unedited version down in a little bit.

On a similar note, I would like to have my character a Raloi, which made no physical appearances in the games, but is mentioned, is that cool with you? I do have a picture for the character, but it is not official, and Bioware hasn't given us anything on them.

With no canon appearance in any of the games and with the fact that they're basically going through Earth's 1960's at an accelerated rate at the time of Mass Effect 1, I would, unfortunately, have to reject the character at least until 2's timeline. It's at this point that the Raloi would be a space-faring race, and could viably be seen in the galactic community.

I love the idea, though. The galaxy needs more Bird-men, I really hope they show up in Andromeda. *Hopes for Raloi squad member*

Alright, well I'll probably have mine up sometime tomorrow. It's late and I didn't get any subscription notifications for some reason (And let's not mention that SOME races are really hard to find decent pictures of, in every sense of the word).

I'd also love to mention that I know both the current theme songs and I enjoyed listening to the both of the again.

Chatty on a keyboard, doesn't work a day because he loves his jobs.

Tar Koran

The Engineer

Civilian Information

Species: Volus
Age: 45 earth years, followed by three earth months.
Gender: Male
Height: three feet and eleven inches.
Weight: Does my wight carry any significance? No.
Class: Engineer
Biotic potency: Yes, but finicky.
Military Background

Years Spent in Active Combat: 20
Armaments: Heavily modified Omni-tool, heavy pistol, recon mine
Armor: Tech and biotic based sealed suit.
Advance Specializations: Shield boost
Skillset: Hacking - Advanced: In order to make up for his lack of physical prowess, Tar uses his Omni-tool to override and take control of what he needs. Sometimes he can look through a set of cameras, sometimes a drone becomes an extra body, and sometimes a finds a couple of credits laying around.

Conversationalist - Adept: Like most Volus, Tar works heavily through trade and negotiations. Though he does not speak physically, his holographic text and text-to-voice simulations help him get a winning deal with customers and other traders. With this, he also picks up a good deal of information, and his mute body can't let anything slip.

Combat Drones - Skilled: With a weak body and a cumbersome pressure suit, moving around to shoot people is difficult. Tar makes the most of his situation by deploying combat drones to help him and his allies when in a pinch.

Engineer - Expert: Tar knows his way through machines forwards, backwards, sideways, upside down and blindfolded. He knows how to take care of his robots, as well as vehicles and various maintenance things such as steam pipes and others.

Favored Powers: Sentry turrets: While is combat drones are flying about on the battle field, and Tar himself is working on getting eyes around the area, sentry drones are a must for such a small and almost immobile body.

Psychological Analysis

Traits: (3 Maximum)
Patient: Tar knows when to shut up and sit back, as well as know when to drive his stake into the ground. With a plethora of knowledge, he knows how to talk and bargain with people, and can also push the right buttons when needed. he thanks his lit eye holes so people can't tack his eye movements.
Multitasker: Working with so many things all at once is no problem to Tar, and can focus on many objectives all at once. He can also steer people off track so he can get what he needs from them without them even knowing it. Getting top of the line equipment is easy when people don't realize that they're handing you their credit chits.
Trait 3:

Flaws:
Paranoid - After so many years working deadly and sometimes illegal operations, Tar has been endlessly working on creating contingencies for every possible outcome, good or bad. His replies may be slow and careful, especially when he is stepping into remotely new ground, as he is taking his time to find the best, quickest, and easiest way out of the situation. Sometimes, he will not reply at all when his mind is flooded by escape routes.
Selfish - While he does help others, be it in the battlefield or in a war room, Tar prioritizes himself above nearly all else. One may think that he's helping them from the good in his heart, but he wouldn't help them if there wasn't something that he could get in return. Higer risks means a bigger payout, and more interest and fees for anything going wrong.
Stubborn - he will not leave a job unfinished. This has cost him many a credit in the past. Replacing arms, armor, even Omni-tool components. This can also lead him to hold a grudge, not forgetting the people who wronged him until he returned the favor at the very least five-fold.
Vain: Once you wrong him, he will never forget it. He knows who to talk to to get what he wants, and will not stop until his verdict is carried out, which is more times than not, never forgiven.

Pysch Profile: Despite shiny red and white armor, he seems forgettable due to his lack of voice and sometimes physical presence, however, he can normally see you, even when you can't see him.

Backstory: Tar was born on the Volus homeworld Irune, to a Turian military-servant family. His Father served next to the Turians in planes, and so did his mother's father. They were all expecting him to join them in the air, which he did for a few years, before being shocked at his decision to fight on the ground. Volus didn't normally fight ground support, much less fight at all, but he took the risk and excelled in specific areas to make up for his small and weak body. Instead of actually fighting, Tar remained on the ground, but used his drones and sentries to fight his battles for him while he sabotaged his enemies while they were distracted. He fought this way for a number of years before leaving the military, having been discharged for abandoning his team in favor of completing the mission, and looked to Omega for future work.

Since his arrival on Omega, Tar worked more more dangerously, stealing any credit possible, making sure he always had an escape route, and dealing with people and always getting the better end. It has taken a toll on his mind, even just speaking to the queen of omega herself, but he is nonetheless prepared for faking his death and starting anew.

Denouement

Character Motivation: To escape the horrid rock and make better negotiations elsewhere, and with less dangerous people. Also money, that is important.
Significant Relations: He has not spoken to his family in years, and assumes that they believe he was killed soon after his discharge. He secretly wishes to return to them someday.
Opinions on Others: (Please update as more characters are added.)

Psychological Analysis

Traits: (3 Maximum)

  • Trait 1: Playboy: (Translated to Manwhore): He seems to have issues with commitment. However he could care less about gender or species which could help get Intel. Rarely.
  • Trait 2: Courageous- You could say that he is too stupid to be afraid of being shot or
  • Trait 3: Resourceful: Ben is use to making due with next to nothing and making something great out of it. Anything can be used as a weapon.

Flaws:

  • Flaw 1: Diplomacy is not a word in his dictionary.
  • Flaw 2: He will hit on just about anything. Sometimes when it is inappropriate.
  • Flaw 3: Has issues with working well with others.

Pysch Profile:
Backstory:
Benjamin Langdon was born on board a colony ship heading towards the colony of Arvuna. The planet’s rough nature formed most of Ben’s younger life. His parents were sent to the colony to helping with the mining of the different resources found there. When Ben was 10, there was a mining accident that killed both of his parents in one moment. However Ben was adopted by a former soldier who trained Ben to eventually join the military. He joined at 18 and was placed in an infantry unit in the Kepler Verge. Ben enjoyed this position and was considered a great soldier.

Unlike many people who would find themselves on Omega, Ben left the military with an honorable discharge. However Ben soon learned that he was unable to do anything else. So eventually he found himself on Omega trying to find something to do with himself. Ben wants to get enough credits to get off this rock in whatever way that he can.
Denouement

Character Motivation: Power and fame is all he wants. Maybe he wants a normal life eventually.
Significant Relations: Father and mother both dead. Single for now.
Opinions on Others: (Please update as more characters are added.)
Awesome Theme Song: Now you’re a Man ((On my phone so I can’t do the video))
