Tar KoranThe EngineerCivilian Information
Species: Volus
Age: 45 earth years, followed by three earth months.
Gender: Male
Height: three feet and eleven inches.
Weight: Does my wight carry any significance? No.
Class: Engineer
Biotic potency: Yes, but finicky.
Military Background
Years Spent in Active Combat: 20
Armaments: Heavily modified Omni-tool, heavy pistol, recon mine
Armor: Tech and biotic based sealed suit.
Advance Specializations: Shield boost
Skillset: Hacking - Advanced: In order to make up for his lack of physical prowess, Tar uses his Omni-tool to override and take control of what he needs. Sometimes he can look through a set of cameras, sometimes a drone becomes an extra body, and sometimes a finds a couple of credits laying around.
Conversationalist - Adept: Like most Volus, Tar works heavily through trade and negotiations. Though he does not speak physically, his holographic text and text-to-voice simulations help him get a winning deal with customers and other traders. With this, he also picks up a good deal of information, and his mute body can't let anything slip.
Combat Drones - Skilled: With a weak body and a cumbersome pressure suit, moving around to shoot people is difficult. Tar makes the most of his situation by deploying combat drones to help him and his allies when in a pinch.
Engineer - Expert: Tar knows his way through machines forwards, backwards, sideways, upside down and blindfolded. He knows how to take care of his robots, as well as vehicles and various maintenance things such as steam pipes and others.
Favored Powers: Sentry turrets: While is combat drones are flying about on the battle field, and Tar himself is working on getting eyes around the area, sentry drones are a must for such a small and almost immobile body.
Psychological Analysis
Traits: (3 Maximum)
Patient: Tar knows when to shut up and sit back, as well as know when to drive his stake into the ground. With a plethora of knowledge, he knows how to talk and bargain with people, and can also push the right buttons when needed. he thanks his lit eye holes so people can't tack his eye movements.
Multitasker: Working with so many things all at once is no problem to Tar, and can focus on many objectives all at once. He can also steer people off track so he can get what he needs from them without them even knowing it. Getting top of the line equipment is easy when people don't realize that they're handing you their credit chits.
Trait 3:
Flaws:
Paranoid - After so many years working deadly and sometimes illegal operations, Tar has been endlessly working on creating contingencies for every possible outcome, good or bad. His replies may be slow and careful, especially when he is stepping into remotely new ground, as he is taking his time to find the best, quickest, and easiest way out of the situation. Sometimes, he will not reply at all when his mind is flooded by escape routes.
Selfish - While he does help others, be it in the battlefield or in a war room, Tar prioritizes himself above nearly all else. One may think that he's helping them from the good in his heart, but he wouldn't help them if there wasn't something that he could get in return. Higer risks means a bigger payout, and more interest and fees for anything going wrong.
Stubborn - he will not leave a job unfinished. This has cost him many a credit in the past. Replacing arms, armor, even Omni-tool components. This can also lead him to hold a grudge, not forgetting the people who wronged him until he returned the favor at the very least five-fold.
Vain: Once you wrong him, he will never forget it. He knows who to talk to to get what he wants, and will not stop until his verdict is carried out, which is more times than not, never forgiven.
Pysch Profile: Despite shiny red and white armor, he seems forgettable due to his lack of voice and sometimes physical presence, however, he can normally see you, even when you can't see him.
Backstory: Tar was born on the Volus homeworld Irune, to a Turian military-servant family. His Father served next to the Turians in planes, and so did his mother's father. They were all expecting him to join them in the air, which he did for a few years, before being shocked at his decision to fight on the ground. Volus didn't normally fight ground support, much less fight at all, but he took the risk and excelled in specific areas to make up for his small and weak body. Instead of actually fighting, Tar remained on the ground, but used his drones and sentries to fight his battles for him while he sabotaged his enemies while they were distracted. He fought this way for a number of years before leaving the military, having been discharged for abandoning his team in favor of completing the mission, and looked to Omega for future work.
Since his arrival on Omega, Tar worked more more dangerously, stealing any credit possible, making sure he always had an escape route, and dealing with people and always getting the better end. It has taken a toll on his mind, even just speaking to the queen of omega herself, but he is nonetheless prepared for faking his death and starting anew.
