Ahh yes, the Polish Hussars. That was actually the inspiration for my cavalry. I'm going tp use more classic tactics like Front line assults and flanking manuvuers.

The first rifle was invented roughly 50 years after what the date is now. And only widely distributed roughly 100 years after. Which is why I am going for non-gun.

And, John, if I made a frontal assault on anyone less than half my force, I'd get cut down. That is why we are sneaky bastards.

I stand corrected. The minie ball was invented in the 1840s, which made rifles actually useful. I suppose armies around this time would have access to them.
