Eggman smiled when Blake comment, but he ignored her action's towards Ruby. And that is when the Egg Mobile shot forwards and went into the giant ring. The ring spun rapidly before shrinking down into nothing.

Another ring formed inside a giant metal building, the Egg Mobile soon coming out of it. The ring went away like the one before as the Egg Mobile slowed down to a halt. "Welcome... to my robot factory." Eggman said. There was tons of machines bringing in metal, making robots and senting them out free into the outside world. Eggman lowered the Egg Mobile to the ground and then hopped out of it. "Now then, let's get you a hover pod just like this one. Moddable and deadly." He said.

Blake looked around at this new location. "So you made all this technology I see now...impressive. You say you want to make me a robot or vehical but before that would you happen to have upgrade parts?" She planned to make some modifications to Shroud while still recoveing from the surprise of the instant teleportation.

Once they warped away, Kaika knew that small invisible form of energy will stay attached, so she could warp to it later. Though, worried for the girl with a red cape, Kaika ran out of her hiding place, holding out her hands as she began to heal her a bit by giving Ruby some of her active energy. "C'mon...c'mon..." Kaika mumbled under her breath.

"I have many upgrade parts, and if I don't have any that is compatible with your technology I can make them quicker than you can say 'three fried hedgehogs'." Eggman said with a laugh as he walked though the building, checking up on the machines. "Hmm... robot production has went up by 12%. Splendid!" He said when he saw the results of this weeks robot production.

Both Link and Alex started to get a bit bored, so they went outside and looked around.

As Link and Alex wandered around, there happened to be a newspaper on the ground that had the headline on the assassinations that Kaika is responsible for. On the newspaper, there was also a faint security photo of a figure that looked exactly like her.

(looks like Kaika's going to be found out...)

Link saw the newspaper and picked it up, making grunting sounds that sounded like he was reading it out loud. Then he saw Kaika on the paper. "What is it?" Alex asked. Link did not reply, but how could he, and instead dropped the paper and drew his sword. He gave an 'I'm coming for you' shout before running off. "Wait for me!" Alex said as he ran off with Link.

"Please, wake up!" Kaika said as she tried her best to heal Ruby, not knowing that there were other newspapers on her recent assassinations, though there was a reason why she had to kill those certain people.

Alex soon lost Link in the city, he also lost himself. The lost little boy could not only sit down and hoped someone would find him. Link however kept running though the city, he had to find the assassin and slay her. And soon he did find her, with a soon-to-be victim! He gave an angry shout and charged at Kaika with his sword ready to cut into her.

Only because of Kaika's heightened "senses," she quickly turned and managed to deflect Link's sword with her hidden blade just barely in time. "The hell?..." Kaika cursed a bit under her breath, her eyes changing color momentarily from her normal purple to glowing pink. "What are you doing? I'm trying to help this girl out," Kaika said as she pushed him away. Shit...he must had found another newspaper on my other assassinations... she thought, remembering about that again.

Link gave an angry grunt as he was pushed back. 'Yeah right, like I can believe that.' Link thought. Link, being the hero he is, did not care what an evil person was going right at that moment. He just knew that evil people will always be evil people, and that they all must be slain. Link gave a shout as he swung his sword again, this time quicker than the first.

"Never thought I had to use this..." Kaika said as she closed her eyes, a single tear rolling down,"Sorry if I broke my promise...Miki...Sota..." An aura of spiritual energy surrounded her, assisting her to form an energy blade to block Link's next attack.

'Hmm, look's like it will take some time to take her down' Link thought to himself. Link gave another slash of his sword as he though about how to react to what Kaika will do. Is she used magic he will block it or get out of the way. Is she attacked with her energy blade he will block her attacks and strike when she is open for attack.

Blake listened to Eggman and shrugged. "In that case I shall look around and see what you got if I may.." She said looking around at the machines and robot parts.

Ruby felt someone healing her. Slowely she began to open her eyes. "Yang is that you sis?" She mumbled not thinking of anything else but her elder sister.

Mizn saw Link and Alex run and chased after them he came across Alex "where did the person who you were fallowing go?" he asked.

Kaika, for a moment, flinched in pain as a seal symbol flashed on her right hand, the seal that restrained the majority of her "pact." Please...let me...break through the seal... she thought as she tried to generate another energy blade, but the seal placed on her prevented her from doing so. She didn't notice that Ruby was start to stir out of unconsciousness.

Ruby then realized she was not next to her sister and that a complete stranger had helped her. Upon seeing Kaika she decided to ask her a question however she noticed Kaika was in a fight and sighed.

"He ran over towards that building. I want to go after him but I'm afraid that wave to rolly things might come back." Alex said as he pointed in the direction Link ran.

Link had to admit, Kaika was good at blocking his attacks, but he could not give up. He instantly swung his sword again, maybe this time he would damage her.

No...I can't...die now...not until I...accomplish the deeds...I just have...have to.. Kaika thought as she saw that she couldn't block this next swing, even if she did, the pain was restraining the strength to do so. "I'll...i'll have to..." Kaika muttered, a small determined smile under her mask.

BGM

"...BREAK THROUGH!!!" she exclaimed as the symbol on her right hand immediately faded apart, the seal on her was shattered, destroyed. In that instant, an energy field surrounded her and Ruby, like a force field. At least with that, it would deflect any attack headed for her. "I know you're probably in a rage upon finding the truth, but is that all that's there to it? I know more about this than whoever reported about those killings. What if I told you that those people had to be killed in order for many others to be protected? Would you allow that?" Kaika said as she regained her full ability of her "pact" again, taking off that mask that concealed her mouth as she thought it wasn't necessary anymore. "Look, if I didn't kill those people, they would had transformed into corrupt creatures, monsters of the Shadows, and then who would be able to destroy those in time before too many lives are lost? Those people had tainted souls, souls that attract creatures that lurk in the Shadows. Hell, you're probably thinking that I'm still the bad guy," Kaika said with a determined look, her hands holding onto the energy blade she formed in case Link would attack her again as the force field flickers away into nothing after a few moments.

It all made sense to Link now, in fact he understood. He put back his sword and gave a slow nod, his only way of telling his acceptance. He still did not like Kaika one single bit, but he now knew that she did her actions to save innocent people. He would have done the same thing if he had known, after all people with tainted souls are evil as well. Maybe... she was not so bad. Link ran these thoughts though his head as he looked at Kaika, showing no signs of hostile action.

Inside the factory Blake could see many parts in boxes, some open and some closed. Also, there were a few machines making large and giant boss mods for the Egg Mobile.

The "assassin" only let out a sigh of relief, the energy blades fading away as she enters out of her "Partial Mode." Everywhere in her body was numb, especially after breaking the seal put on her in the first place. "Kaika-sama, next time, please don't be so reckless," a voice could be heard, right next to Kaika. Glancing to her side, she saw a familiar aura, a soul, that has always accompanied her. "Oh, it's you Miki. If you're mad at me for breaking the seal, I had to. What are we going to do about the tainted souls if I died back there?" she groaned a bit, though she was also relieved to meet up with a partner she hasn't seen in a long time.
