Your characters have already been 'recruited'.

Remember, being a Dragon Rider is not optional. You will be taken. So, the separation from your family does not have to be a happy one.

If you'd like to do a flashback of your character being taken then we can do that. It'd just have to be in a different thread.

I'll take a look at your character and address any changes via PM.

I will not be having a PC. As I will be controlling he instructor and various other NPC's.

I will set up the scene. But, basically all of you would have been brought to the Dragon Riders home, already have your dragon and had a week or three to get antedated with one another and your dragon.

All of you will be sitting before the council and be assigned your master .... we'll see what develops from there.

I imagine that while this will serve as the main thread there will be side ones for training. You all wont be together all the time. I'll be keeping a time-line and post it once its' relevant. I'll also post a map after a bit.

And how limited are we on making new regions/towns/clans?

Sounds good. I think it might be better to keep all relevant stuff in this thread, and just give it headings to distinguish it, but I'm open to whatever.

@Kharons Progeny If you are looking for a specific type of deity let me know and I will let you know if I have something that fits along those lines, otherwise we can look at creating one.

Feel free to make up regions and towns. I"m making a map right now.

Would you like us to put info about the baby dragon that chose our characters? Cause I'll need some more info on dragon types, appearance, etc. for that.

There are no types of dragons. Not in a D&D sense.

I will post some pictures of dragons. But, thy are heavily based on western style dragons.

Ah, so they're just "whatever I can think of" basically? And you didn't answer whether you'd like me to include this info or not in my character sheet.

There description and picture aren't needed until they are Drakes. But, you are certainly welcome to add them now if you'd like.

I added a very brief description of the most common deities in the area. As you will see, they bower very heavily from the Greek & Roman pantheons.

More pantheons exist than this, this is simply the most revelant.

I'm also fleshing out an 'older' nature revering religion. That will heavily borrow from Celtic and Native American customs.

I'm not so worried about character-sheets being completed by the time we start. So there is no rush.

I posted what I have done. I'm still working on fleshing out her backstory and the information about her clan.

I should hopefully have that up tomorrow night if I'm not dead after working 12 hours. [i]Hah.[/h]

How would you like our characters to present themselves, and how long should the post be? IE. If I'm gonna post a response, I need to be given the preferred dialogue.

A couple paragraphs is fine. No less than that, but no limit on if you want to write more.

Your character should present themselves however you imagine a 16 year old boy would present himself in that situation. As your characters wouldn't have any knowledge of the Dragon Riders customs there isn't a right or wrong way to do it.
