Chancellor, Corrigan School of Advanced Learning and Development

PREMISE:

For years, the superheroes of Earth have taken gifted youngsters under their wings to teach them how to not only fight crime but to use their talents to their greatest potential. Due to this the world has seen such iconic teams as the Teen Titans and the Young Justice initiative, but with the number of meta-humans increasing every day, the world calls for something new.

Sponsored by Wayne Enterprises, and granted land by Queen Industries, the Justice League have opened a school of their own for the extraordinary individuals of Earth. Situated in Star City, the school dubbed the Corrigan School for Advanced Learning and Development opened its doors nearly ten years ago and has been a thriving producer of Earth’s current heroes. Many of these heroes go on to join the Justice League later in their career, but the top of the graduating class always becomes the world’s newest team of Teen Titans.

Although mockingly referred to as the Justice League Academy, Corrigan has led over all to a higher than expected performance rate by younger heroes and as a result crime worldwide has hit an all-time low. Though the school has its critics, they are few and far between with the world as a whole giving it an approval rating that has only climbed over the last decade.

Enrollment for the upcoming school year reached a record high with the combination of both returning students and new attendees. With such high numbers, the competition between students is sure to be the most exciting it has ever been.

FACILITIES:

ADMINISTRATION BUILDING:

The Administration Building originally started life as a great mansion built by an eccentric millionaire during the early 1900's. Left unfinished due to the interruption of the Great Wars, it sat empty for numerous decades until the Queen family purchased it and turned it into the family home. However having moved on to a new home since becoming Mayor, Oliver Queen donated his family home and land to the Justice League. For the first couple of years, the school operated solely out of the mansion with the Justice League. having modified the building to suit its purposes. Initially the Corrigan was only offering rudimentary courses to ensure the students had their basic training and education before having the League's contacts provide them placements through allied companies and workplaces. However as enrollment expanded, additional buildings were commissioned as separate dormitories were constructed and eventually the Academic Quadrangle.

With these new buildings in place, the Mansion was converted into an Administration building along with housing for those employed at the Corrigan. Despite keeping the historical exterior of the building intact and well maintained, the building's interior has been renovated and updated every few years since the school opened. As it stands currently, the interior of the Administration Building is fully update with the latest modern furnishings though styled in a classical manner to match the building's exterior.

ACADEMIC QUADRANGLE:

The Academic Quadrangle is perhaps the most interesting piece of Architecture on the whole Corrigan Campus, if not the most interesting than the most complex one. Suspended above the ground are six floors full of classrooms and learning environments for the students of the Corrigan to use. The Quadrangle is built in four long sections which are set up in a perimeter outside of a large courtyard which contains numerous areas to study along with picnic spots and a pond.

The largest building on campus, the four sides of the Quadrangle are broken into specific categories of class rooms with the science labs and technology making up the Northern Wing. The East and West Wings are divided into various, Language, History, Law, Social and Liberal Art courses. The Library is also found in the West Wing. Lastly the South Wing contains the Math and Science class rooms.

LABS AND TECHNOLOGY WING:

Built overlooking the mansion from the North, the front side of the Academic Quadrangle is dedicated to the instruction of technology, communication and the practical application of sciences. Throughout its six floors, all levels of the institutes educational programs are supported at every degree of understanding to ensure that each student can find the material approachable.

The technology programs are considered to be rather cutting edge in part due to the creations of the world's greatest minds allied with the Justice League which are supplied to the school and in many cases used by the creator themselves in the classroom. These cutting edge technologies range from medical, to robotics and even some military grade technology can be found for the students to get hands on experience with.

LAW AND LIBERAL ARTS WINGS:

Built along either side of the Quadrangle are the Wings containing the Liberal Arts including but not limited to English, Linguistics, Theatre, Musical Theory and various Language Courses. These wings contain some of the more popular courses at the Institute and can often be found with numerous students chatting in the hallways between classes. Whilst class is in session, nearly every room is filled to capacity with students either hurriedly taking down notes, acting out classics or simply slacking in the back believing that the arts are low to no effort courses. A school of law is also included in the East Wing which produces some of the foremost warriors for justice free of a mask. Lastly, a large library is included in the West Wing in order to provide the students with all the resources that they need for their studies.

SCIENCE AND MATH WING:

While no where near as popular as the Arts, the Math and Science wing are among the more practical disciplines available at the Corrigan given that most of the students are 'scientific wonders' themselves. Everything from the most basic to complex calculations and mathematic formulas are imparted into the students' minds. Figuratively across the hall, biology, physics and chemistry are instructed to the eager and even the not so eager students. Medical sciences too are taught in this wing and are especially necessary as new discoveries are constantly being made about the meta-human genetic code and its ever growing array of varieties.

MESS HALL (Cafeteria):

Constructed as the central point between the dorms and Academic Quadrangle, the Mess Hall is the first stop for many every morning. Consisting of several floors each with their own unique style and blend of flavours, the Mess Hall caters to every food taste offering both local and international selections. Aside from the interior dining rooms, the Mess Hall has several designated eating areas outside as well as balconies on each floor. In order to control the flow of traffic, houses are grouped together and given designated meal times to ensure that everyone has a seat from which to enjoy a meal. As such house Allen and Danvers eat together then Kent and Lance and so on. This schedule rotates daily to ensure every house has a chance to eat with another. Not only does this ease the process of getting a meal, but it also allows the various houses to build camaraderie with the other teams outside of classes.

THE BREW:

Outside of the mess hall there's only one other place on campus to eat. The Brew is a small campus pub serving primarily caffeinated beverages but also alcoholic ones for members of the faculty or returning alumni. Built in the early 2020's as a response to the increasing age of both former students and new enrollments, the pub offers a place of more adult relaxation in the form of a nice cold or hot beverage. Stocked with a wide supply of beverages from around the world with a special emphasis on caffeine, the Brew has something for drinkers of all tastes. Furthermore it arguably serves the best wings and nachos on campus leading to many busy karaoke nights. The Brew is known for being a little too tight on security if only because of the rather large risk involved with copious amounts of sugar, caffeine and meta-human abilities. As much funding as the Corrigan does receive, it's not enough to rebuild the campus.

RECREATIONAL CENTER:

Perhaps the most modern building on the Corrigan campus, the Recreational Center is a top of the line fitness buildings. Several highlights include an Olympic sized swimming pool, a climbing wall, a full gymnastics studio and of course a top of the line fitness center. All students are required to spend at least one mandatory hour each day at the gym to ensure they stay in at least moderately fit physical condition. Outside of the Recreational Center lays a couple basketball courts, and a multi-purpose field. This field is used for all manner of sports but the most popular is football, naturally played by the NFL's rules. Removable bleachers are stored in the back of the Rec Center and are set up for the school's Intramural Games since Corrigan can't exactly compete against other schools.

DORMITORY HOUSES:

The dorm houses across the Corrigan campus not only act as housing for the students but also sort the students into teams. Throughout the year, each dorm house competes for points through various forms of competitions. These competitions include the students grades, athletics, attendance and extracurricular actives including both campus favourite 'Metaball' and A.R.C. Sessions. Despite the age difference between each house, they're updated annually to ensure that no one house seems to have an unfair advantage towards another.

The original dorm houses that were built in 2009 were erected in a townhouse style building. These dormitories are contained within one building although separated down the middle by a solid wall, on either side of this wall are the different house dorms. Built in a mirrored fashion, both sides of the building are identical and contain four floors. On the second and fourth floors, are laundry rooms for the students to use while on the first and third floors are two large common rooms which include a kitchen allowing for students to have 'community' meals together. Each room houses two to three students complete with a bed, desk and closet for each, community bathrooms are on each floor to ensure that no dorm has to go too far for a shower. As part of their annual update, the original dorms were overhauled so as to provide private bedrooms to each room and a shared kitchen and common area. However due to the building's design the community bathrooms were left installed but updated to ensure the most privacy possible when using the facilities.

In 2014, part of the addition when the school was expanded further was the additional dormitory houses. These dormitories consist of three separate buildings unlike the original dormitories. The dorm layout in these buildings is also notable different, with a dorm consisting of four bedrooms, a shared bathroom, shared laundry room and shared kitchen and living room. In 2016 another two dormitories built identical to those built in 2014 were added to the campus. During this time shared patios and outdoor pools were added to all dorm houses for the students to enjoy and relax upon. Most dorms are designed to replicate an apartment as much as possible without totally sacrificing the dormitory design. It should be noted that the entire campus is free of gender segregation in an effort to be as progressive as possible.

A.R.C. (Augmented Reality Center):

The Augmented Reality Center or A.R.C. is one of the largest facilities on the Corrigan school campus. A large circular building with approximately a mile radius, the A.R.C. stands close to a hundred feet in height in order to provide a wide range of simulations within. The interior of the A.R.C. appears to made up of many different panels, and each of these panels are attached to a series of columns which can expand and contract to allow the A.R.C.'s arena to change to all manner of shapes and layouts. Coupled with the cutting edge hard light projection technology, the A.R.C. can replicate and simulate all manner of environments and battlefield simulations.

Participants are needed to wear A.R. Suits which aid in stimulating the other four senses. A.R. Suits also allow for pain simulation in order to fully prepare cadets for battle. A.R. suits are designed to act and feel like the armored costumes worn by other heroes in combat, however they're notable different due to the equipment required to operate with the A.R. Center. These suits are also equipped with glowing LED strips down the suit which can be customized to display team colours. During stealth activities, this feature can be disabled.

NEWS AND UPDATES:

TOPIC OF THE WEEK:

It's a new week so there's a new topic!

Who is your dance partner going to be?

CONTACT INFO:

As I have mentioned in the thread, on the weekdays of Monday to Friday I should be around most hours of the day with few exceptions for classes and my job at the school. That said even during these times unless it is an examination I should have access to my laptop or phone. Generally I disappear at 11pm EST, but I'm generally awake by 8am EST the following morning. If you wish to do any collaborative posts, Mondays are often the best day for me as I don't have classes and often hang around home either catching up on homework or video games depending on my work load.

During the weekends however I work part time in a large department store. Most often I leave for these shifts around 2pm EST and am often unable to be active again until the following morning. I do try to lurk from my phone however so I am often aware of what's going on for the most part although I may not have read any of the new IC posts. Speaking of which, once I had read an IC post I 'like' it and then at my earliest convenience update the tally beside your character's name on the roster. Please don't think of that as a competition for who can get the most posts, it's just a tool for me to keep track of who is being active in the RP.

If you need my attention directly, just tag me in the post you want me to look at. Otherwise you can PM me or even add my Skype 'wraithexe' if you need some quick back and forth answers. Looking forward to RPing with all you and will do my best to ensure we all have a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

NIGHTSTAR

NAME:
Mariand'r 'Mari' Grayson

ALIAS:
Nightstar

AGE:
17

ABILITIES/SKILLS/EQUIPMENT:
Tamaranean/Human Physiology: Like her mother, Mari's alien physiology constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it to energy. Mari has green eyes with no pupils, pale orange skin and dark iridescent purple hair. When she is using her abilities in full force, her hair seems to glow and react like fire. However, this is simply an illusion. Unlike her mother, Mari is only half Tamaranean, thus lacking most of her mother's tremendous strength, stamina and durability. Mari however has inherited her father's natural athleticism making her a very agile combatant.

Energy Absorption: Primarily, Mari absorbs ultraviolet radiation from the stars and other sources of radiation. She can also absorb the ultraviolet radiation from other life forms such as Kryptonians who thrive on it. However Mari can not contain as much radiation as her mother thus significantly lowering her power levels and exhausting her abilities much faster.

Energy Projection: Mari can project her 'starbolts' at her opponents in a variety of ways. The energy is burning hot and melts or destroys most metal objects and skin. Due to her mother's DNA being modified by experiments by the alien Psions, Mari has inheirated the power and ability to channel and project her stored energy into destructive blasts called 'starbolts'. Mari also has the power and ability to unleash all her stored energy into a pseudo nova blast. While her mother's nova blast was as hot as a burning sun, Mari's is lessened due to her stored energy being nearly halved in comparison to Koriand'r.

Superhuman Strength: Like Koriand'r, Mari is superhumanly strong. Unlike Kori however, Mari's strength is far less although still considerable. At maximum strength, Mari is able to lift twenty five tonnes above her head.

Flight: Mari can use her energy to push herself through the sky which leaves a distinctive energy contrail behind, looking as if it is coming directly from her hair. This only works when gravity is affecting her, and she cannot fly unaided in space. It should also be noted that Mari can not fly at supersonic speeds and as such still requires transport for long term distances due to both this and her lack of true Tamaranean stamina.

LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES:
Lacking her mother's superhuman stamina and durability, Mari takes considerable harm although not from her own abilities. To further explain, Mari does not take damage from holding a car above her head or punching through a solid wall, but high caliber firearms can still pierce her skin as can blades if made of a resilient enough material and used by a strong enough foe. Furthermore, as Mari lacks Kori's stamina, her abilities exhaust her much faster. While her stamina is above that of a human's, it's not anywhere notable. This is primarily due to Mari not taking her training seriously hampering her own abilities. It should also be noted that Mari can't exceed a speed of 250mph/400km/h while in flight. On foot, her abilities are those of a skilled athlete. Since Mari lacks true Tamaranean durability as noted above, she can't fly higher than the stratosphere.

Unlike Kori, Mari lacks the ability to assimilate languages through contact and as such must learn them the old fashion way, much to her annoyance. Lastly, Mari lacks the experience of her parents and intense training her father received when he was her age. This makes Mari a relatively unskilled combatant especially when compared to other students her age. In this department, Mari is her own biggest draw back as she runs in the opposite direction from the legacy in her parents. As such she's something of a slacker and comes across as an apathetic 'rebel'.

SAMPLE POST:
The overly cheerful chime of the alarm was possibly the most unwelcome noise that Mariand'r Grayson could imagine at this very moment as it disturbed her sleep, permeating every square inch of her skull. Dragging the covers over her as she buried her head beneath the over-sized pillow, Mari audibly groaned as she realized the darkness which she embraced to sleep had been violated by the constant flickering of daylight as it slithered between the mangled blinds on her window. After a struggle lasting a whole five minutes, Mari finally reluctantly surrendered to the alarm as she rolled over and hit the button, the looming display almost seemed like some hellish abomination as the red numbers angrily stared back at her.

'9:45? Already? Seriously I feel like it was 3am half an hour ago. A groan escaped her lips as she flopped back over on the bed, spreading out to allow the bed to consume her as the young woman stared at the antique ceiling above her head.

'What day is it even? Do I have class? Please say it's Friday, oh I pray to whatever higher power there may be that it's Friday.' Her inner monologue went on, as she sat up and reached for her cellphone only to let out a cry of anguish upon reading the screen realizing that not only was it not Friday, but it was also Hallowe'en. That mean the Brew was going to be a gong show later.

"At least I'm not working." She grumbled to herself as she swung her legs over the edge of the bed, feeling around with her feet for her slippers before standing up. Tugging at her tanktop, she looked down remembering she had been too tired for pajamas and had slept in her underwear, silently cursing as she remembered her blinds didn't really protect her privacy. Scrambling to her closet as the wooden floor beneath her creaked and moaned with wear, Mari pulled out a robe and quickly threw it over her. Making her way to the bathroom she nearly did a double take as her reflection looked like it was already dressed for this evening. Mari had forgotten to remove her makeup from the day before and now it, combined with the mess of hair atop her head gave her a look that could probably turn a gorgon to stone.

'Ugh.'

Reaching into the glass enclosure, Mari turned the tap and began to run the hot water, ensuring her shower would be more than warm enough before she undressed. Pulling a fresh towel out of the nearby closet, Mariand'r peeled off what few clothes she had on before stepping into the baptism of hot water as it rained down on her seemingly washing away all her stress of tiredness. Mari was a firm believing that a hot shower was better than any cup of coffee in the morning.

After the hot water tank had been drained and about an hour after that, Mariand'r finally emerged from the bathroom, only her robe between her and any would be peepers in the dorm across from hers as she moved back into her bedroom. After quickly throwing on her usual attire of jeans and a tank top, Mari decided she had best check in on her emails ensuring that she hadn't missed anything from the class that took place while she had taken her shower. Her stomach growled as she sat down at the small desk and opened the laptop, the first reminder that she hadn't eaten yet this morning.

'12:30, fuck!' Or rather this afternoon as the case was currently. She shook her head at the time as she opened her inbox, noticing a rather large amount of emails from 'Facbook'.

"Don Macintosh has added you as a friend, Charles Glover... Fredrick Hattin... Who are these people? Fuckin' creepers." Mari muttered as she leaned back in her chair, selecting all the emails and hitting delete. Clicking open a new tab, she logged into her Facebook and quickly 'ignored' the same friend requests. "Preferred when it said rejected. Bunch of stupid boys." She noted that most of them had been at the Brew last night, which meant they too attended Corrigan and figured she was cute so they could add her.

'The least they could have done was talk to me first.' Her stomach suddenly growled again prompting Mari to close the laptop and grab her leather jacket off the back of the door before locking up her apartment and heading downstairs. Coming out into the hallway, Mari nearly collided with a wall of orange and black balloons. Her eyes starting to glow as her hands began to heat up but the sound of another person caused Mari to step back, cooling down as she looked around the floating wall.

"Good afternoon Mari!" Came a male voice from behind the balloons as one of her dorm mates poked his head out.

"Hey Scott," Mari responded with a small wave. She really wasn't in the mood for letting small talk stop her from grabbing a bite to eat. But she knew Scott, and he'd want to talk. "Serena got you setting up for tonight already?" She asked, moving around the balloons and slowly moving towards the dorm's exit.

"Yeah buddy, Ravencroft's favourite holiday tonight. I thought you'd know that. You've been here over a year haven't you?"

"I'm in my third year actually," Mari responded turning towards the door only to let out a silent sigh of exasperation as Scott continued the conversation.

"Oh well, I can't believe we've known each other that long. I feel like it was just yesterday we bumped into each other and I had to buy you a new coffee." He smiled wide as he looked at Mari who hid her annoyance quickly.

Please tell me he is not flirting with me. "Hey Scott I was ju..."

"So are you working tonight?" His voice quickly spoke over Mari he nearly caused her lip to bleed as she bit down on it in frustration. Her angry stomach growling loudly under her jacket.

"No I'm not." She answered flatly turning to leave as Scott continued to talk.

"Well you should come out to the dorm party then! I mean, you won't get to sleep with the party happening below your bed."

"I think I'll stay at a friend's!" Mari called back trying to ignore the cynic in her head. Friends, what's that, someone else to let get close so they can stab you in the back.

"Uh well, maybe you and I could get a bite to eat sometime." Scott added as Mari exited the building.

And there's the date invitation. She shook her head as she began to walk across the campus towards the mess hall. Maybe one of these days someone could look at her and not treat her like her flirtatious mother.

NOTES:
In case it wasn't clear, Mariand'r is the daughter of Richard Grayson and Koriand'r.

@Avanhelsing You can do that. As the back story isn't required those kinds of details can be revealed in the IC although I suppose it's good to say in the OOC so we don't have contradicting characters.

@Olivia Thank you, without the players I don't have much!

I have a character in mind but I'm waiting to see what everyone else is going to go with. I'm considering adapting a Kingdom Come character at the moment.

That's my typical go to response. But I'm just going to go for it!

I'd like to play a character who can either have Kinetic Absorption or Power Negation. I'm on the fence.

Aww. How sweet. You just made my day. I think I'll go with negation. Just so you know.

And, how many characters are we allowed? (And would there be anyway I could dabble as a professor?)

A bit late to the party, but here I am. I have no idea who I'll make though. Maybe Query again since I didn't get to use him much or someone else.

@Blue Demon I generally prefer players to start with one and then pick up others as the RP gets going especially with the amount of players interested in this RP.

Were you wanting to play a listed professor or did you have someone else in mind?

@Lord WraithI can start with one. I'm a patient lady.

Lord Wraith

Man, you listed like all my favs up there. And a few I've been dying to try to tackle (and if my 1x1 pulls through I just might!). But I don't have my heart set on any one person. I merely want to know at this point if it's possible.

@Lord WraithI'll keep the idea of a professor in mind. Maybe I'll beg one off once I finish my OFC.

BTW. Your CS differs between the OOC tab and the Characters tab. Just so you know.

NAME:
Light

ALIAS:
Not Sure Yet

APPEARANCE:
Light is a 1.8 meter tall humanoid looking figure with pure white skin, blue short hair, And lacks detail. Her head is a large sphere with black and orange eyes, no visible nose, and fin looking ears with a very skinny neck. Her body is curvish with skinny forearms and large hands that end in 4 sharp fingers. She wears a blue tanktop with a white dress, the dress itself having an M cut to show her legs that, instead of feet, end at a sharp point.

ABILITIES/SKILLS/EQUIPMENT:
Cartoon Regeneration
Light is able to regenerate from nearly any injury, including supernatural ones such as having her soul ripped out, ext.. Light recovers by "popping" back to normal, although depending on the injury it can be instant or take quite a bit of time. She still feels the pain of the attack.

Cartoon Physics
The world affects Light a bit differently than everyone else. Light's movements can only be seen as "stretchy" which are made apparent when she experiences extreme acceleration. Light can walk on air as if it were ground when walking off of a high place, as long as she is not aware of the lack of ground, when she figures it out, she falls. This also makes her react differently to physical trauma, and removes her ability to bleed, among many other things.

Pocket Space
Light can pull nearly any small object at random from a spot inside her dress. These objects are often of no combat use and are more contextual or hint based in nature than anything, and often in very obscure ways. She mostly just uses this trick for comedy.

Super Strength
Light has great strength, and to record has been able to lift up a suburban house with ease.

Reality Shift
Light causes anything she is touching to be unable to gain energy from outside sources. If she touches something long enough, IE, a few days, it'll turn 'cartoony' but only have the negative effects of being a cartoon. She must still be touching this object for it to stay cartoony, otherwise after a few hours it'll turn back to normal.

LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES:
-Light can't deal with being tied up, even though she has super strength. This extends to Nets as well. This causes her to struggle until she wiggles her way out, figures a way to cut the binding, or someone rescues her.
-Due to Reality Shift, Light sharply reduces the effectiveness of any weapon she would want to use.
-Due to Cartoon Physics, Light takes more damage than normal, due to the flashy way physical trauma affects her.
-Light is very carefree and often wont commit fully to a fight, or wont fight at all and rather chat with the bad guy. This means she'd basically try to make buddies with Lex or Mistah J, until they tried to kill her or her friends at least.

SAMPLE POST:
"An essay about myself? Uh... My name is Light. People say I remind them of a walking cartoon, which I can see. Though it isn't fun getting blown up, set on fire, or run over by a steamroller, people seem to laugh when I turn to ash or into a pancake of myself only to pop back to normal. Did I mention those things kinda hurt?" "...What? You want more?" "Personality? Are you trying to ask me out?" "No? Well ok then."

"I'm pretty smart, observant, but also very laid back, after all, why fight when you can make friends? There are some people out there who just had a bad time and need a friend to get back up, plus sometimes they can be a blast! Of course that being said I'm not an idiot, I do understand sometimes there are just some people who wanna hurt you, your friends, your neighbor, and the wild stray dog. And if I'm forced to fight and not in a playful manner like a game of Cops and Robbers but with jail time involved, well... they're in for a bad time. HeHe"

NAME:
Julian Augustus Luthor.
Alexander Luthor Jr.
Lex MK. IIV

ALIAS:
Caesar

AGE:
9 Since creation.
18 Physically and mentally.

ABILITIES/SKILLS/EQUIPMENT:
Superioer Genetic Structure:
Julian holds the utmost best genetic material he is a duplication of the same DNA sequence that the most brilliant mind on earth hold - Lex Luthor. And his DNA has been further modified through biological engineering to give him the best possible setup in life. Thus, he is biologically superior to other humans - he's faster, stronger and smarter by nature.

Rigorous Training:
Julian has spent most of his life in a lab, being taught science, math and history by the best professors money can buy. He's holds several PHD's and could rival most of the brilliant minds in the world. He's partaken in exercise that has put his body in the utmost peak physical condition a man of his age and build could be.

Genius Intellect:
Julian's intellect is unmatched, his reaction time and problem solving skills are all off the charts and borderline on superhuman, making him a fantastic scientist, engineer and tactician. His forte is mechanical engineering and quantum physics - while being a expert at most other fields of science, he's not as obsessed with biology as his 'father'.

Martial Arts:
Julian is a expert boxer and a immediate user of Judo. He's far from a martial artist, but he thinks himself capable enough to win a fight against many foes.

Mechanical limb:
Julian lost his left arm over a year ago and since then he learned how to live with one arm, while working on a prostethic when the doctors couldn't. He wears a mechanically enhanced arm that responds 99.6% the same way his real arm would to electrical impulses from his brain. The arm is ten times as strong as it's counterpart on his other shoulder and holds many technological tools while still being able to do such things as type on a keyboard, write a letter or fidget with circuitry. He uses several different versions of his arms, designed for heavier workloads of different combat situations.

Tools included in his regular arm are:
Low caliber laser for welding
Electric chargers for defibrillation.
Pulse canon capable of a generating over 10 ton of force
First Aid Kit
Diagnostics tool
Fire extinguishing foam
Small Radius Energy Shield.
High Speed Satellite access to internet.
Holographic projection.

Tools and Weapons Included in Heavy Duty Arm:
Servomotors allowing him to perform 100 times as efficiently as a flesh arm, allowing him to lift over 30 ton with it.
High Powered Pulse and Ion Canons.
Full Body Force Field generation.
High Powered Laser Cutter.

Gadgets:
Julian builds new gadgets constantly making it almost impossible to catalog all of them. He's been known to use small drones - some for offense, and some for defense armed with force field generators and automatic means of fire. As well as diverse technical tools in a fight. He uses a biological serum that temporarily increases his healing factor after sustaining serious injury - which is how he healed from his sever burns after his accident - sadly, his arm could not be saved.

LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES:
Julian was created to be a replacement for Lex - Either for Luthor to use as spare parts, and should Lex pass, Julian would have been indoctrinated with Lex's ideals and carried on his will. He has gone through countless trauma and it has left it's traces in his psyche. He carries the potential for bursts of anger, just like his father, but he keeps a close lid on his emotions - thus seeming a little shallow and hard to connect with. While being among the smartest people of the human race, Julian lacks context for what he knows, thus he may be unable to use his knowledge efficiently at all times. He was not raised around people, thus he lacks many social cues and does not grasp most social concepts that aren't obvious.

In a fight, Julian's assets are his tech and his mind, his arm might be powerful, but the rest of him is human and thus quite able to be abused.

SAMPLE POST:
Screw the rules.

Snippet from the "Titans East" Roleplay.
Julian was sitting in his quarters tinkering with a piece of tech he himself had constructed, he was a pocket sized forcefield, so he wouldn't have to always don his full combat gear whenever he needed a decent shield. In his hand he held the screwdriver, holding the piece of tech on a remodeled selfie stick with his teeth. He would use his robotic arm, but it was currently being repaired by his micro drones after a previous malfunction with the laser. Turning the screwdriver he let out a happy sigh, putting down the tool he took the stick out of his mouth and held the gadget in his hand, pressing a button in the middle, putting it down in front of him. He leaned backwards, up on the shelf he sat next to, getting out a little metal piece. Dragging his fingers on the metal piece it was revealed to be a butterfly knife.

With masterful grace he turned the knife upside down in his hand, making the edge point down towards the floor. With force he jammed the knife to the machine, but before it collided with the machine it was blocked by a blue energy field. Julian pushed harder, and while it held for several moments, the shield finally broke and the knife almost hit the machine until he stopped his hand. A light grunt was heard. He had to come up with a better power source, for the gadgets and for his arm, he figured.

Standing up he put away the knife, taking off the protective shirt he wore that prevented him from getting electrecuted or burnt, he headed to his wardrobe where he hung the shirt up and got a dress shirt out instead. He was wearing fine dress pants but bare feet. Getting out a pair of black leather converse, he put the shoes on and then the shirt, being asymetrical wasn't so bad if it wasn't for buttoning, it had been really hard the first few months with that, but now he could do it with finesse. Looking himself in the mirror he made sure to tuck his right sleeve up almost all the way up to the end of his arm, making sure it still covered the stump he had left from his arm.

Hearing the telecom with Mal's voice made him let out a groan. He was gonna have to change again, wasn't he?
Luckily, it was a false alarm. Leaning over the mirror he had he got into the drawer under the sink, where he put regenerative cream on his face, over the scars he had since his accident, the cream was supposed to help the scars heal, but they were still as red as ever. With a grin he looked over himself, his hair was getting longer, soon he'd have to get styling gel, he figured. The thought amused him.

Heading for the door the door slid open, letting him outside. He headed to the main hall where Duncan was. "You enjoying yourself, Mal?" Julian asked. "Like you wouldn't believe, Cobalt. I've got minesweeper and everything over here." he retorted sarcastically. "So, would you fancy a game of chess, then? I always find the challenge refreshing." Julian asked, where as Mal chuckled. "Find someone else to hustle, Brainiac." Julian smirked. He would head for the elevator and up into the tower, traveling out of the bunker and to the top floor, where the kitchen was. He wanted something to eat.

Opening the fridge he found a powerbar that he gladly took for himself, sitting down he found a book to read, was a recently published physics book by Ray Palmer.

NOTES:
He loves playing board games and reading scientific papers. He dislikes most TV-shows but he frequently watches Seinfeld on Netflix.
His Gameboy Advanced is one of his most priced possession, and he will kill anyone who dares tocuh his Final Fantasy Four cartridge.
Really. He might, he's a Luthor, after all.
He's ginger with medium length hair, scruffy facial hair and emerald eyes.
He finds himself craving 40 year old Scotch, which he has only ever drank once, but he figured it's a genetics thing.

NAME:
-Jack Kyle

ALIAS:
-None yet

AGE:
-17

ABILITIES/SKILLS/EQUIPMENT:
-Skilled Thief: Jack was trained by his mother to be a master thief. He can sneak into just about anywhere he wants. However he is still training and is not a master yet. He is stealthy but he still messes up sometimes.
-Trained Acrobat: Again his mother started to teach him her way of moving. He inherited her gift of grace and moves almost like a cat.
-Trained in hand to hand Combat: His mother sent him to a local boxing gym, The Wildcat Gym, to learn how to fight. The owner was an old friend who had trained his mother and now her son. Jack excelled in fighting and can handle himself in a fight. His style focuses mainly on boxing and jiu jitsu for the most part.

Enhanced powers:
His mother used to say that he took after his father when she saw his "gifts" He is almost like a cat but without the fur.

-Enhanced Strength: Stronger than the average human
-Enhanced Agility: More nimble that your average person and some metahumans.
-Enhanced Speed: He can move quickly. Much like a cat
-Enhanced Senses: His hearing is more sensitive than it really should be.

Weapons: His Whip: Most of his suit is a modified version of his mother's suit so he got the whip. He prefers to use it to help him climb instead of fight. His fists are easier than the whip.

Armor: The skintight costume features retractable razor-sharp claws in his gloves and spring-action climbing pitons in his boots. His costume is designed to give him maximum flexibility and movement while providing him some anonymity, and stealth. His mask covers his features, keeping him from instant recognition in his civilian identity. The material is a thick insulating cloth, protecting him from cold and wet, while being fire retardant. He uses his claws to help him climb.

Tools: He has a belt of valuable thief gear. He keeps a lock pick kit, a retinal and hand print scanner, and an electronic lock breaker (It can try to guess the pass code for a lock or unlock a door if given time.)

LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES:
-He is still a human with human weaknesses. He does not have any superpowers. He usually looks out for number one since that was how he was raised. His strength is that of the peak condition for a regular human.
-He is still relatively young at only 17 years old.
-He is also attracted to shiny things over everything else.

SAMPLE POST:
It was a wonderful night in Gotham. Honestly, it always was a good day if there was a new exhibit in the Gotham Museum of Art. It was even better that the exhibit was called Jewels of Southeast Asia. It should have been called The Kyle Family Retirement Donation because Jack was on his way to break in. He was in a terrible mood right now and the best way to let off some steam would be to steal a pair of sapphire earrings. Usually he would not steal something so basic but stealing things was his idea of a calming activity. Most people would be stressed to break into a museum but Jack needed some fun right now.

His mother had just informed him that he was going to The Corrigan School to try and make him more respectable. Jack truly did not want to go. He did not want to be a hero. He was a Kyle and that meant he was a thief first. It was in his blood to steal from people. His mother had argued that he needed to be around more people his own age. Jack had disagreed and stormed away. Before they could talk again, Jack was out the door in his suit. He did not really like to talk after a fight. He was originally going to the Wildcat Gym to hit something but he figured stealing something shiny would make him feel better. Maybe jewelry would change his mother's mind.

It was not even funny how easy it was to get into the museum. This was not even his first time breaking in alone. He had stolen a small marble figurine from the museum when he was 15. He had a set pattern to break in. Usually the side door was not guarded at all. It was the supply door so none cared about guarding it. So Jack jimmied the door open with his lock pick kit. The door swung open as he went it.

Getting the earrings was almost two easy. The museum could not use laser wires until the main exhibit area since there were a few sensitive pieces there. He got to the hall and sprayed a spray all over so he could see the lasers. Jack pulled his goggles down and turned them on. The lasers lit up like a Christmas tree. So Jack quickly moved around the lasers until he got to his prize. With deft hands he removed them and put a cat statue in it's place to not set off the pressure alarms. Before he could leave he turned and saw his mother sitting on one of the taller display cases. Even though she was getting older, she still could break in just about anywhere. She seemd angry at him but also proud that he had manged to get in here. She must have come in through the roof. Jack sighed as he put back his prize. He knew that he was in for a lecture for this.

NOTES:
-He has no idea who his father is. His mother never told him.
-He inherited his mother's knack for hitting on anyone.
-He loves to drink hot chocolate oddly enough.
