- RICK ALLEN:
Rick seems fairly decent, in the small glimpses I've had of him. He's always darting around campus so quickly, it seems he's hardly stood still long enough for us to properly get to know each other. He's likely the sporty type, though, given his abilities, and I doubt we'd find much common ground should I ever catch him in a moment of stillness. Regardless, he doesn't seem to have a problem with me and I'm sure we can continue to co-exist peacefully.
- MARS BALBOA:
Mars strikes me as an idiot. Generally, I don't harbour much compassion for idiots. Mars is no exception because, unfortunately, he's the worst kind of idiot. Not only is he stupid, but he's under the illusion he's bright and of value. He seems to think that his muscular body earns him some kind of position of respect, but he doesn't intimidate me. There's no use being at the top of the food chain if you struggle to use a knife and fork. I do my best to avoid him, as I worry that being around him for too long would negatively affect my IQ score.
- BLÁTHNAT BALORE:
I don't know Bláthnat, but her hair is simply divine.
- AMETHYST BORDEAUX:
I like Amethyst. She seems to naturally push people away and has built this image that she's not to be messed with, but I think that's more a defence mechanism than any real anti-social behaviour. It's unfortunate, because the girl has lot going for her: she's stylish, strong-willed, and seems to have a sharpness about her that I enjoy. I'd love to get to know her and truly befriend her, but I don't think it's going to be easy.
- RICHARD DOWIE:
Richard is quite interesting, actually. His abilities are more magical than genetic, which I find rather fascinating. I'd love to sit down with him for an hour and just pick his brain; after all, he has knowledge of arcane things a mere mortal as I could only dream of. He's like a mysterious character from some fantastical play; almost Shakespearean in some aspects. If he can afford me the time, I'd love to get to know him better.
- MARIAND'R GRAYSON:
Mari is rather brilliant, to say the least. She was quite crass when we first met, but we soon found common ground and got on like a house on fire. She's my closest friend here at Corrigan; I feel that might be because she hates it as much as I do. She's terribly funny in the most wicked way; we share a darker sense of humour. She's half-alien, but she doesn't talk about her heritage much. Her dad is a professor here, so I think my friendship with her puts me in a good position academically - not that it matters. We're both vegetarian, so it's good to have someone I can cook for without feeling like I'm depriving them of their beloved meat. She's pretty touchy when it comes to the sexualisation of her body; I soon learned not to make some of the comments I'd make to friends back home, but ultimately she's been really cool to me. She can take a joke and I love hanging out with her.
- CASEY HARPER:
I hardly know Casey. But he interests me greatly, and I'd love to pick his brain. I think if we ever spoke we would quickly become friends; he just seems to have a certain likability and uniqueness about him. And he's cute, too. That's always a plus.
- ANDREW HUGHES:
I like Andy; in fact, I struggle to think of a reason somewhat might take umbrage towards him. We're perhaps polar opposites in that respect, as the chap really doesn't seem to have a single sceptical bone in his body; he has this endearing naïveté whereby he assumes the best in people. I think that's largely what our friendship is rooted in: the fact he is able to see some good in me, where others might not. I appreciate it a lot, though I'd never tell him that. I kind of wish he and Mari would get together, but truthfully I don't see that happening any time soon.
- JASON KAMA:
This guy kind of rubs me the wrong way, but I can see he has good intentions. He's not troublesome like some of the students here, he's just... Well, he's rather annoying, actually. He has this whole 'save the world' thing going on, but honestly it just strikes me as contrived. It feels like he's more interested in being perceived as some environmental hero rather than actually working to protect Mother Nature. But perhaps I'm being sceptical... It wouldn't be the first time, after all. I don't dislike him enough to avoid him, and Mari and Tanya seem to be pretty fond of him. Perhaps I'd find it easier to warm to him if he didn't wear such ghastly tourist fashions...
- MAILSI KELLY:
I don't know her. She doesn't strike me as particularly interesting, but I've seen her with Amethyst and Casey from time to time. Perhaps we'll speak at some point, but I'm not holding my breath in anticipation.
- KIERAN KENT:
Kieran is my room-mate, though you probably wouldn't be able to tell if you saw us together. It seems like we don't share many interests at all, really... It's not that I dislike him per se, I'm actually rather grateful to have him as a roommate. He's very clean and tidy and tends to keep the noise down, so living with him is relatively easy. I can't bear to think what it would have been like to have some slob sharing my bedroom. The two of us are amicable, though we don't tend to see much of each other outside of our dorm.
- JACK KYLE:
Ugh! This guy just grinds my gears. In some of our earlier classes, I thought perhaps there was a chance the two of us would become friends. We seem to share a certain... 'Free-spirited' nature when it comes to authority figures, and he seemed friendly enough. Kind of cute, too. But, oh gosh... He's so annoying! He has this smug attitude that's just nauseating; he's got this smirk as though he's constantly pissing in a jacuzzi and getting away with it. And yet, he expects everyone to be his biggest fan! The bloody nerve of it, I tell you... As if that wasn't enough, it turns out the guys a raging kleptomaniac. Mari is sure the creep has been stealing her makeup, and personally I wouldn't put it past him.
- TANYA LAMONT:
Tanya is Mari's roomie, and at first we had a shaky start. I quite liked her, but there seemed to be something stopping us from really bonding. She was quite cold towards me for a short while, though not in a rude way... I think she was just 'weighing up up', so to speak; taking some time to decide what she made of me. It seems I eventually made a good impression, and now we get along swimmingly... Or, soaringly, I suppose would be more appropriate. It turns out we have somethings in common: we can both control the wind, and we both love music. She keeps trying to get me to join her band, but I haven't made my mind up yet. Regardless, though we're not quite as close as I am with Mari, Tanya has become a good friend. I like having her around.
- KYLE LANCASTER:
Kyle... That's one of the younger kids, right? Yeah, I don't really know him. I'm here to learn, after all, not to babysit. I see him around the hallways sometimes, but he always seems to be only half-present; the shy type, easy to push around. He'll have to grow a spine if he wants to last around here, that much is certain.
- RAPHAEL LINDEN:
Raph seems nice. He seems to strike a good balance between focus and calm, which I envy in some respects. I'm not sure we have a great deal in common, but I certainly don't see Raph causing me any problems in the near future.
- JULIAN LUTHOR:
Oh, lord. Julian is utterly unbearable. Coming from an esteemed family myself, I've been around a good amount of arrogant arseholes in my time. It's something you learn to adjust to... But dear God, Julian is something else. He's completely self-worshipping, and it seems that he commands a similar respect from his peers. Whether he's bragging about his wealth or his supposedly-genius intellect, it always seems like he's trying to assert himself as my superior. He openly mocks my abilities as though it's some kind of competition; I'm not here to learn how to use my powers to earth-shattering effect. I'm not trying to be the next big hero - or villain, in his father's case. I'm here to control what I've been born with, not to earn some sense of self-worth by recruiting a gaggle of mindless sycophants. Needless to say, I do not like Julian one bit.
- FENRIS MURRAY:
I, uh... Yeah... Um, I rather quite like Fen, actually... I mean, uh... It's not like, we've, um, exactly... Spoken, per se... OK, look, I know that's pathetic. But there's just something about the guy that... It's eerie, actually... There's some sort of enticing aura about him, as though he's wearing some sweet enchanted cologne that lures me in at the faintest whiff. Like the scents released by carnivorous plants as they tempt bugs to their doom... I know that I should be weary of him, and when he's not around I'm quite able... But as soon as I lay eyes upon him, I... Oh, Fen...
- NORA NORWICH:
I don't know her, but she's immensely beautiful. I can't help but feel transfixed by her sometimes.
- RITA REXEN:
Despite her obvious strength, Rita seems pretty harmless. She can be a little stand-offish, but then again so can I, so I don't hold it against her. I expect we're quite similar, and I wouldn't be opposed to getting to know her better. However, I do sometimes catch her looking at me a little... Oddly. I'm not sure what's going on in her mind in those moments, but it doesn't seem good.
- AIDEN ROTH:
By all intents and purposes, Aiden seems like a nice guy. We've had a few pleasant exchanges; and yet, somehow, I still don't know the chap at all. I feel this is a generalised trait of his and not something personal to myself: Aiden seems completely devoted and focussed upon his studies, and making the team. Moreso than anyone else at the school, for sure. I really admire that about him, and although he likes to keep to himself he seems to remember details about the people he talks to. I'm keen to get closer to him, but I have a feeling he is quite content in his solitude.
- S'TANN S'TONN:
S'tann is the bane of this wretched school; but, unlike some of my other disdains, this opinion of mine seems to be shared near-universally. At our age, we should really have grown out of bullying and finding glee in disruption... But no, not S'tann. This alien creep goes out of his way to ruin whatever he can. He's a bad omen amongst the campus walls; some students call him Satan, but I wouldn't even dream of giving him such a prestigious title. He's scum, nothing more... I think the main issue with S'tann is that he's very powerful, and he knows it. Nobody seems to be able to control him, and I'm not naïve enough to think that I might stand a chance. I'll just do my best to avoid him and hope that one day he gets bored and takes his terrorism elsewhere.
