[IC] Pokemon Sinnoh Region

Niesha left the fire starting to Clif, as she sat down, and took out the small supply of pokemon food she had, offering a handful to the pokemon, she took out Bidoofs pokeball, and left it out. She studied the pokemon, offering her arms so she could climb in, and began to check the bidoof over. but there didn't appear to be anything seriously wrong with her.

"Doof Doof" Niesha said thoughtfully, trying it out for a name. The Bidoof seemed pleased with it, so that was all Niesha needed. Using a potion, she treated her, and then nudged her towards the pokemon food.

Satisfied, she took out the pokemon egg, feeling it to make sure it was still warm, and checking for any cracks, seemingly dedicated to the task as she wondered when the egg would hatch.

Having dealt with her pokemon first, she then took out a package of sandwiches, rice balls and some other foods, a small feast, but her mother had been worried she wouldn't have enough food. She held it out for the others as well

"Frouline, gather some twigs and tinder, would you?" With a little utterance, the Oshawott bounds down to the ground and waddles off nearby to search for materials. Cliff clears a place on the ground, off the path. Frouline brought him back a bundle for him to start with as he starts to strike some flint and tinder. "You should keep dry foods like that ready for emergencies." Cliff looks up from working on the fire. Didn't Niesha have a fire-type...? Well, whatever. He turns back to it and manages to catch a spark, quickly leaning down and sheltering it from the wind. Frouline adds more tinder. "Larger pieces now, Frouline. But don't go far."

The girl had another pokemon. And an egg, that was more impressive.

Melody arrived just as the fire began to catch. "Wow good work Cliff, that was so quick" she beamed "Now Emp, you go and help Frouline collect some larger sticks ok? And I'll help Rowan set up a tent for all of us, luckily we happened to bring a really big one, isnt that right Rowan?" She looked over her shoulder at the younger boy.

Rowan nodded and opened his bag before pulling out a smaller bag.
He casually dumped its contents on the ground and sorted through them. He started to put the tent skeleton together as he now waited for Melody to assist in putting the tent itself together.

Niesha didn't even think to let Solias help out with the fire, until it had already been started, and she blushed. It was too late, the fire already been started, she couldn't do anything about it. "Sorry, I guess I just haven't gotten use to having a pokemon" She said, shifting awkwardly, hugging the egg to her to give it warmth.

"Thank you, Melody. I'm just fortunate that there's wood this dry here. I wonder how long it's been since it rained?"

"That's alright, Niesha. I don't have a fire type, so need to be prepared." He sits with the fire, maintaining a low burn until they're ready to begin cooking. They didn't have much fuel to work with in the first place, so they'd have to manage what they had. Frouline brings him more and he stops her to pet her for a moment. He pats her on the back after a moment and sends her off, "alright, one more load. I think I'll have enough then."

Melody begins to piece the tent together with the frame that Rowan had set up and within a few minutes the tent is completely set up. While she was busy with the tent Emp had returned with a bundle of wood in his little fins, which he placed besides Cliff before running back to Melodys side chattering excitedly. Melody leaned down to pat him "Great job Emp" she praised, before turning to the group, "Alright, so weve set up the tent and got a fire going and Niesha has some preprepared food ready, but I think we should cook some hot food as well, what do you guys think?"

Rowan nodded his head for yes at Melody's question.
"Hot food sounds good." Rowan rummaged through his pack till he pulled out a trusty drying pan frying pan and spun it a couple of times in his hand.
"Requests?"

Niesha shook her head, "I'll eat just about anything" she said, briefly wondering why a tent was being set up. They still had time to get to the town, didn't they? But she didn't say anything. Maybe they didn't, how was she to know?

She watched the others with their Pokemon, and wondered if she was doing something wrong. She didn't want to simply use her Pokemon because they were there, but there seemed to be a willingness to help. Was she a bad trainer?

She shifted uncomfortably, looking to Solias, who was approaching Doof Doof curiously

"I've always enjoyed breakfast at any time of day, myself. If not, then I'm not particular." Cliff fans the fire carefully when the wind dies, and shields it when the wind kicks up. Frouline return and lays her last bundle on the pile. Cliff looks at her and considers something. He separates a portion of the fuel and looks at Frouline. "Frouline, could you produce a mist for me?" The pokemon looks uncertain for a moment before giving it a shot. At first it's just a small stream of water, but with a little bit of effort, the stream slowly picks up pressure and changes shape. "Hmm... Try adding breath instead of pressure." Frouline stops and looks at him, thinking for a second about what she's doing and then trying it out. The stream sputters and struggles, with mild success but nothing that could really be called a mist. "Almost..." After a little bit, Frouline seems a little tuckered from the extra effort, and Cliff smiles. "That's alright. You can rest."

Cliff turns back to the fire, looking up at Rowan. "Just hurry up, before we need more wood."

"Ok we'll cook up an assortment of things and then we can use the tent to keep the sun off our heads while we eat, or we can call it a day here, up to you guys" melody said in her usual bright chirpy voice

Rowan nodded as he placed the dryingfrying pan just above the fire and went back to his pack while waiting for it to heat up.
He came back with some sausages and bacon and threw them into the now hot pan. He sat back and kept a close eye on them while they cooked, not really paying attention to much else.

Niesha set her food out, figuring they could eat it if they wanted, and rose, gently placing the egg back in her pack, staring at it wistfully, wondering when it would hatch. She looked about to see if there was anything she could do to help, feeling useless.

"Is there anything I can do?" She asked

Melody turned to Niesha "I think we've got it under control, there wasnt really much to do" She giggled "But we could always sit and talk, you know, get to know each other better while we wait for the food to be finished." She tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear and readjusted her hat before sitting down beside Niesha

Rowan simply poked at the bacon and sausages in deep thought as he waited for them to be cooked. He flipped the bacon over and turning the sausages over.
He sighed and glanced over at the others when he heard the word 'talk'. Get to know each other better huh? Suppose if they were going to be travelling together they should know a bit more about each other.
He now waited to see who would go first while keeping an eye on the food so it wouldn't burn.

Niesha have a shrug, watching the Pokemon. "There's not really much to know. I just moved here with my parents, got Solias and been chilling for a week or so, waiting to start out" she said softly, and then because she was hungry, she grabbed one of her sandwiches, and began to eat, "I'm kinda an open book. If I get excited about something's, it's a good bet I like it" she said with another shrug, taking a sip of water

Cliff carefully tends the fire, keeping the heat moderate for Rown's cooking. "Tell me if you want more heat."

He looks up at the chatting girls, smiling softly to himself. Well, at least these two were off to a friendly start. "I'm rather mellow myself, I suppose. I get excited sometimes, though."

Melody smiled and nodded as she listened to Cliff and Niesha, before starting her own story. "My family used to travel a lot when I was little, because mom was always training her psychic type pokemon for the gym and dad was always trying to test out new pokeballs, we settled down in Twinleaf Town and I've been best friends with Rowan since then. We just got our Pokemon a few days ago and now we're gonna try to beat the Sinnoh League" she beamed and patted Emps head.

Rowan sat there silently as he listened to their stories. He didn't want to talk about himself, but he probably didn't have much of a choice.
"I pretty much raised myself, my parents are pretty busy. Meet Melody a few years back and been best friends since, got Twig a couple of days ago and plan on defeating the sinnoh league." Rowan said briefly as he didn't look up from the pan. The food was almost done.

"I don't particularly care about the league, to be honest" Niesha said "I'll participate, but I kinda want to focus on looking after Pokemon. On helping them be the best they can. Sort of like a breeder, a tender, but different. Each Pokemon had their own nature, no two Pokemon are alike. They have their own likes and dislikes, they are super smart, and...well they are a lot like humans. Just cause they look alike doesn't make them the same. Solias hear is quite serious, but is also a little laid back.

Your frouline seems quite jolly, energetic. Emp seems helpful, eager to please. Twig seems a little bit more complicated. Kinda a mixture of them all, but mostly I think he is just wise. I guess we shall see" Niesha mused, "but I got side tracked. I want to be able to see a Pokemon, to know a Pokemon and to work with Pokemon."
