So I didn't force anyone to meet up, but I gave you the option of having the boy approach you. He works for the Mambo (voodoo priestess) that rules over the 3 snakes. Assume he knows how to find people. ALSO, he could tell people where to find Marie because we will just assume that Café Bonswa is a regular haunt and the boy is used to tracking her down.

You could be drinking heavily in an establishment – one that Horace happens to enter? Or bump into the trio of Freemasons who have just begun wandering the streets? Or even the one member of the devil’s threesome who is out looking for the sunken Spanish ship?

I always by default aim to meet at least one other character and go from there. You could equally have heard of the arrival of Neoklis – a man who specialises in friends in high places – a man who may be able to obtain you a pardon, or equally recommend you to one of the other nations? (If he is seeking to restore his lost reputation that is?)

Or maybe he is looking to join with/lead a crew of pirates/privateers? Maybe through this he could bump into one of the two captain characters?

Maybe he is already an established criminal/pirate since his time in New Orleans? Maybe just a drunkard doing whatever dock work he can find to pay for enough rum to get him through each night?

That the kinda stuff you had in mind?

Horace is could likely run into you Suess, a collab there might be in order. Lord pie has a good bunch of suggestions. My original intent was to have Horace meet up with Nox's charachter, but since he was beaten to the punch, I feel he could be of more use elsewhere.

If you still want a meet-up, from what I read, Horace's looking for a drink and Jack's leaving a tavern to reconvene with his captain. As far as Jack knows, one stray shot is nothing to be alarmed over so the meeting might shed some light on the severity of the situation if nothing else.

EDIT: Alternatively, Pie said the boy disappeared into the crowd; it wouldn't be out of the question to think he chased down Horace next if you'd care to stick to your original plan.

Will do, whenever you're ready. Last post Jack was just descending the stairs so by the time Horace meanders in he could be at the bar or they could 'bump into each other' in the main doorway. Feel free to puppet a location and I'll respond to Horace's introduction. Hell, we could go ahead make the first collab early if you want; I'm not picky.
