Once upon a time the kingdom of Withenfell was happy and peaceful for the most part, King White ruled justly and it was a great tragedy when his death was discovered. Chaos started to spread quickly throughout the kingdom as Queen Morganna claimed that Princess Snow had killed her husband. Those who talked to Snow believed just the opposite and claimed for her after she disappeared that the Queen killed the King. But both of the royal ladies knew the truth.

At first Snow had felt remorse, she had killed her own father in cold blood, slit his throat as he slept. She had even fled from the castle in guilt and worry, although she was unsure of what was wrong with her, she could tell something was, she no longer felt right in the head. The last thing she had wanted was to hurt her poor step mother as well. However, that changed and rather quickly. When she was hunted down like an common animal! Once she had convinced the hunter to leqt her live, and he had told her what a horrid thing her mother had wanted him to do, she took his own sword and killed him with it. That had been a week ago, and afterwards she gave up on fighting whatever was effecting her and gave in. After the weeks ride she now walked the long stone walk way from the gates to the castle itself crown upon her head.

The eyes of the servants that worked in the castle garden stared at the ebony haired princess as she walked past them, a look of surprise on their faces as they hadn't seen her in weeks. Catching their glares Snow gave them a small but polite smile, as she continued to walk. Be polite, act normally. She reminded herself mentally, much like she had walking the halls the night she fleed. The surprise on their faces was a good thing though, if she was lucky her mother had also not heard of her upcoming return as well. Her hands raised softly on the small sword that laid hidden away in it sheath that hung from her waist as she entered the door of her castle, turning she shut the doors behind her before letting a sigh from her ruby lips, despite her reasons for returning it felt rather nice to be home.

"Dearest mother, I'm home!" She found herself calling as she walked across the enterance hall towards the thrown room where her mother would be at this hour, her voice angry and yet still bell like. Instead of finding her mother, she found only an empty throne, with guards on either side as usual.

Since the death of her husband and the King-Morganna felt uneasy and fearful for her life. If Snow had killed her own father...her flesh and blood with her own two bare hands, surely nothing could stop her from killing Morganna too. The Queen didn't want to be harsh and cruel to her step-daughter, and treat her like a common animal...but that's what Snow was slowly becoming like...a threat. A threat that must be eliminated. Morganna was doing what anyone would be doing-protecting themselves from danger. But it seemed like her efforts to get rid of Snow were not satisfactory. It had been a week since she sent the Hunter after Snow-and he failed to return with her head. The thought left her on edge....pacing around the throne room. Sweat forming on her brow.

'Surely she couldn't have escaped Withenfell so quickly.' The thought raced through the Queen's mind. Morganna had been gazing out of the window for a few minutes...when she got interrupted by a messenger. Someone had spotted Snow a few hours ago...and it seemed like the Princess was returning home.

Morganna's face turned pale. Shock and horror written in her eyes, clear as day. She felt her blood turn ice-cold from the fear. Before anyone could speak or move, the Queen had fled the throne room. Running towards her chamber, Morganna nearly feel to the floor...scrambling for the loose piece of wood. Once she pulled it aside; she retrieved a small dagger that was hidden in her secret spot. Tucking the weapon into her skirts; Morganna had soon fled the palace through a secret passage-way. The queen did not take many belongings with her; only her dagger, a pouch of money and a cloak which covered up her luscious curls and crown.

The Queen found herself outside by the stable, taking her black horse. She climbed on it's back and rode off into the deep dark forest that surrounded the Kingdom. Being careful of the cliffs, she kept away from the edge. It had been about an hour after she jumped from her horse's back near a little lake. Her horse a bit tired of the quick flee, started to drink some water. Morganna kept a vigil eye, every little sound and noise made her slightly on edge...in case someone was looking for her already. Deciding to leave her horse there...Morganna made her way on foot. Wading through the lake water, she scrambled to the other side. Holding her skirts up slightly; keeping a careful eye out on sharp and slippery rocks. Her heavy dress, dragging along the dirt...tearing slightly at the bottom due to sharp edges. Climbing out of the water...Morganna gripped a large tree root, helping herself up.

During her 3 hour journey on foot; she had been mostly running or speed walking. Keeping hidden in the shadows. At times, she almost tripped and stumbled over her own dress and two feet. The Queen was in the depths of the forest; nearing another village in the south-west of the Kingdom. That's when she heard a rustle and a noise from near by. Pressing her back against a tree, she held her breathe in fear and cautiousness. Her hand slipped into her robes, gripping her dagger in her hand. "Whose there?" she called out...her soft and tender voice frail from fear and exhaustion from being on the run. Morganna hadn't stopped for rest, food or drink...not wanting to waste time...or risk getting caught.

The Dark...twisted and manipulative mind were the perfect words to describe the handsome and well known Warlock Shapeshifter, known as Marcos Delvin. Marcos was known for his dark magic...his devilish charms and handsome face. But of course, a fearful reputation at best. Over the centuries of him being alive...manipulation and corrupting became his form of art...his pleasure and entertainment. He too...was the dark force behind Snow's sudden changes. Her ability of persuasion had called out to him...it was a perfect asset. She just needed a little corrupting, to reach a fuller potential. The handsome Warlock had been keeping an eye on the princess-stalking if her you will. But he had remained unseen, in the shadows.

It was like he almost knew every evil and corrupt thought inside of her head...he too had similar thoughts roaming in his mind. But he had given in a long time ago.

Roaming the castle halls; in his disguise he glanced up as he heard footsteps. Snow had returned at least. The anger in her bell-like voice was alluring and intriguing at the same time. Marcos smirked to himself slightly...before bowing along with the rest of the servants to walk the halls. His mop of curls, sparkling under the light of the sun that creeped in through the large windows. Marcos had killed the original servant; who he now was portraying himself. An easy...win ticket into the castle halls to be close and ready when the Princess arrived.

Being new in Winthenfell; Marcos had no desire to mix with people and the crowd. People would know of him and his name sooner or later. He preferred to be alone...planning and plotting to his heart's content. Like Snow; he shared a dislike and hatred towards the young Queen Morganna. Marcos had been unfortunate to cross paths with Morganna on more than one occasion, in her previous Kingdom before she married King White. Back then, Marcos had numerous affairs with a few young women including her younger sister, and one of her cousins...but when the affairs had been found out. It was Morganna who found the truth out...warning both relatives off the danger, and player that Marcos was. Anger had been seething in Marcos and it resulted in a war-with lives lost...the only two coming alive were The Queen and Marcos himself. Their dispute settled and finished...but not forgotten.

Marcos knew of the Queen's beauty and magic; he sometimes envied the power a woman could possess. He was jealous...but his hatred towards her was more pure. So, he had been disgusted when he found out, she was the new Queen of this new land he found himself in. And so...he wanted to make sure, she would be brought down and that she would suffer. Of course, he needed Snow White for that to happen. But much to his dismay...the Queen had fled earlier that day.
