[OOC] Of Life, Love, and Death

Are we classifying Avina and Devin as mates now? In a lot of ways, I think Devin is already a leader, he just hasn't really had the opportunity to shine. So the three biggest qualities would be Strength, connection, and leadership? Is there any other traits we want to add?

Haha well...no...maybe...I...you knew what I meant >.> Very true I guess in some ways he is already a leader without a chance to shine. Though he will have to work on a few things. Mainly the walking away thing. Hmm no I think those are really good qualities I think that they should have to have all three though. Which brings up the next question. Should it be spreadable? And if so only to vamps/wolves? Or humans as well?

Mhmm... It's okay though, they are defiantly heading down that path. I don't think it should be spreadable because then everyone would be coming after them in order to become a stronger creature. Though that in and of itself could be fun to play out. If it is spreadable, I would say only to vamps and wolves who are strong in body and mind.

That's what I meant, that they are heading down that path. I mean Avina sees Devin as her vampire and Devin her his wolf so...plus I'm starting to get the feeling She wolf likes Devin. Hmm I like the idea of it not being spreadable, beause as I was cleaning I got thinking and if it were spreadable than I figure the chance for a hybrid would be known about. Though your right if other thought it was spreadable they would be coming after them. So...we could make it unspreadable but everyone thinks that it is for a while?

It will be She Wolf who takes him as her mate. That is why being a mate is more binding because it is the wolf who claims not the human. If that makes sense. Which can be fun to play with if a wolf chooses a mate and the human halves don't get along that well at first :)

I think we shouldn't make it spreadable, but if you are in a pack with two hybrids you do become slightly stronger and get some of the opposite abilities like we were talking about for the pack way back when. So at first they come to become hybrids but quickly learn they can't so they try to join the pack?

That sounds good to me, I remember that the pack members get stronger and get some of the opposite abilities. They shall have a big pack soon than lol.

If they choose to take everyone that comes to them, than they will have a pack so big they will not know what to do with it. Lol. I think they will have to start turning people away soon.

Well here's to hoping that She wolf claims him. Because I don't know what all will happen but Devin is going to be more fighting back than trying to kill her. So she could likely kill him.

Haha yeah he would prefer it to be just the two of them, but he would know that they need a pack. Still by the time they got to....lets see counting Logan there is six of them so about the time they got to twelve he'd be like "You know Avina, we might want to make sure we have a stronger pack if we are going to take over the whole forest." Haha.

Yeah, I do not really picture Devin giving it his all when she is made to kill him. I can see him trying to talk her out of it. It will be a fun battle with a great outcome.

She would be so confused, lol. "I am not trying to take over the forest, I am just extending a hand to those who need us." She would totally not get that he is saying they should be more selective because she is so willing to help everyone.

Yeah I can't see him giving it his all either. He will likely try to talk her out of it, and likely try to keep some space between them seeing that he is faster. If she does catch him, he'll likely fight back and run a bit again. Because after the last fight he really doesn't want to do it again already.

Then he would frown and shake his head. "Not all of these people need us, lass. Some of them are using us for what we are, and if we get to big of a pack even the humans will start noticing." Haha I know but Devin wouldn't be wanting to help them, he would think they were using them.

If he tried to run, she would follow even if she could not catch him. Basically when an alpha tells a pack member to do something, nothing else matters until that task is complete. I see her wolf claiming him when she has him in a position to kill him, but it might turn out completely different than that! ^.^

"We could hide high up in the mountains, create a little village and write off our existence. The larger our pack, the stronger we are. Besides, how could we pick and choose who to accept? A checklist? Characteristics?" She would see it has wanting to help those who do not have a pack.

Good! I figure the fight would be easier without the Alpha around. At least he wouldn't have to worry about being attacked by the Marrok then. Though he would likely follow as well huh? Yeah I saw her wolf claiming him when she has him in a position to kill him as well, I think that would be ah epic creepsomely way to end the fight.

"And what would we do for food lass? The vampires can't live of animals, their wouldn't be any humans around. And I sure don't think the animals would stick around. And....fine we'll help this one but after them we need to work something out." He would see it as being weak and illogical. Not Avina herself but to have some many to feed and take care of. Though I'm guessing she would wear him down a few of the times she argued with him xD

I am not sure if he would or not. He is very confident that Avina will not be able to out alpha him. If she can become more dominate than him, she becomes the new Marrok and he thinks there is no way that could happen. I think it would be an awesome way to end, specially if Devin just gives in. ^.^

"We do live mostly off of animal blood, Devin. It is apart of being a hybrid. Though we will eventually run out of animals. I still do not know how we will make decisions on who to accept and not to accept." I could see her giving into his wishes most of the time, but when a story really pulls on her heart she would argue with him for that particular case. She will listen to reason. Eventually, lol. XD

Oh she can do it I believe in her out alphaing him! Oh well yeah I plan on him submitting to her at the end when she catches him. She has already proofed that she is the more dominate of the two. And he likely won't even be upset about it this time, I figure he will just be happy to be alive-ish.

"Yes, I know that we do Avina. But you have to remember that this pack isn't like your old one. It isn't just wolves. By how strong they are, or useful. I'm not saying we can't help them, I'm saying we can't accept them all." Honestly if the story is really sad like either of theirs, he will likely give in easily to her. Lol eventually as in she knows she can't win :P

Oh trust me, she will. When she stops herself from killing Devin, she will be over dominating the Marrok. I just don't know if I will keep him around or send him on his way. I have not decided yet. Avina won't kill him, she is more likely to kiss him in the end before she goes back to face the Marrok.

No, she cannot win against logic. It will be interesting to see how they end up balancing their pack between wolves and vampires.

Rather or not the Marrok stays or not, Devin with not let him in his house or his little witchy woman after trying to kill him. Haha well she didn't get to kiss him after the last fight so its only fair. Devin will likely follow her back to the Marrok. Violet will likely know he is alive before they come back out of the woods.

It will be very interesting! I can see Devin likely taking change of the vampires for fear they would hurt Avina if they lost control.

Edit: The Vi thing is just in case you want to post a reply for the Marrok before they come out.

Sadly she didn't, he walked away before she had the chance to change back into a human. Though it makes me wonder if she will fight as a wolf or not this time. Part of me wants her to stay mostly human, but she is stronger and faster as a wolf. Hm...

I like the idea of Vi knowing that he is still alive. Avina could play on that and come back to the clearing as if she had killed Devin, or even if the Marrok knows he is aline, Devin could sneak up behind him.

I know and then the Marrok came when she got the chance to kiss him again. Hmm well it isn't like he hasn't seen her shift, she could always change to kiss him before he regains control.

Ooh! We could do that have Devin sneak up behind him. Like that's gonna be hard lol. And attack if that is want Avina would want, though I figure that he wouldn't be able to actually take the Marrok he throw him to Avina.
