Username: Edgeout
Name: Genso Gomakashi
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Country of Origin: Kyoto, Japan
Role: Guardian of the Mist
Flame: Mist
Weapon/Fighting Style: In his present form, Genso does not use weapons. His aura is is weapon, as he can manipulate this invisible force of energy to create various, intangible illusions. Furthermore, his right eye give him the ability to momentarily enter into mind of others. When he performs this trick, Genso's right eye turns green. Upon entering the mind of the said person, he can read their thoughts, and even plant some false memory into them. As Genso grows with power, the time he can enter a person's mind lengthens and the ability to manipulate the mind increase to the point where he can take control of people. However, a flame is needed for this, and other flames - nullifying ones in particular - can counter act this.
In His Ten Year Form, Genso's Right eye fully develops, and have the ability to enter multiple minds at once. All who see his gaze will be affected by it. Furthermore, his eye can fully manipulate the mind of the victim, implanting false memories and even go as far to erase the person's memory completely.
Also in his Ten Year Form, Genso has two swords of the samurai, which is said to have the souls of these courageous warriors trapped in them. With the swords, Genso can amplify his illusions to become tangible things, and even draw victims into his own world.
When Genso uses his eye in his present form, he can't use any illusions, as all the energy is focused onto his right eye to maintain a temporary focus. Furthermore in both of his forms, Genso's body cannot move while inside the mind of others. However the process of going into, and manipulating the mind of others is instantaneous, making the vulnerability window slim. Strong willed victims can also fight Genso's eye once in the mind potentially making the vulnerability window increase.
Appearance:
A slender figure with red eyes, and a smile masking what is within.
Ten Years:
"I'll show you the true meaning of fear."
Personality: Is he happy, or is he sad? No one knows for sure. Genso always has an indifferent smile on his face. He seems approachable, and easy to talk to. Of course he will respond to anyone that approaches with a smile. However when talking to Genso, people feel this distance from him. Even though every thing he does seem polite, it seems as if he is dangerous in some way. No one can really put a finger on it.
Perhaps it's the aura he carried around him. Objects seem to go astray when around him, and his eyes - his red eyes - seem to be staring straight into other's soul.
Genso can understand more quickly than anyone. Though he is not the strongest of the bunch, his mind makes up for whatever physical features he is missing.
Aside from all the skeptical features, as a person Genso is well mannered. He keeps himself in the back of the crowd, and never really steps up to lead. However when approached Genso doesn't decline to lead either.
But that's all a shell. He doesn't really care about anyone or anything. All he wants is destruction. Destruction of this world, and destruction of the Mafia.
He has a bent up wrath that cannot be quenched. However in wrath he find beauty, and that is reflected in his battle styles. Anger drives him, and he delivers elegantly. It is really hard to get on Genso's nerve because, he's always mad. Yet his outer behavior contradicts it, and no one can really put a finger on what is wrong with him.
History: He was an experiment for his father's lab - their goal was to create a human weapon, that could be used by the mafia to try and take control of the Vongola Family.
From the moment he opened his eyes Genso was in a shell - test tube if you will. He saw his father staring at him in his glasses that reflected the light right onto his eyes.
"He's awake." Genso heard them say.
For the next few years, Genso was pushed to the limit. Severe shock went to both of his eyes, and disturbing images were flashed at him constantly.
"It's to make you perfect," said his father to Genso, during the break, where he was kept behind bars. Genso leaned against the stone wall, and a bed that he called home. There were small cracks far up near the sealing, where he could see light, but he never really went outside. He wanted to see the world - he wanted to see what the outdoors felt like.
Leaning on his bed, he teared up. As the blood mixed with the tears it formed a marble like mix that dripped to the bucket full of blood meant to contain Genso's blood, as new models of himself would be made. It was determined that Genso was "a defect" and "was to be left to rot" by the scientist of Japan.
One day there was a breach by the Mafia. They murdered all the people and the subjects in tubes. It was a sea of blood. Genso, looked out from the iron bars, as bullets pierced through the victims. One fell right next to him.
With trembling hands Genso turned over the head of the corpse, hoping that he didn't see what he knew. It was his father. Though to others Genso's father may not have been a good father (or even a father), to Genso, it was the only thing he had. He screamed, with tears mixing the dry blood that was etched into his lashes.
Quickly one of the Mafia members motioned to others of the screaming boy:
"This must be it."
"Poor thing, left to rot in a cell"
"We might have a use for him"
The men approached his cell. They broke the lock and opened the door. One of them reached out to grab Genso.
"Don't touch me."
The men hesitated. There seemed to be something about this boy. It must be their imagination. They thought.
"Boy you're coming with-" as the man reached for the boy, they both could see figures of monsters swarming around. Beneath their feet insects of all nature were crawling around. They tried to shake it off, but the insects seemed to not come off. It was digging into their shoes now. Hesitating, they looked at each other again. However, a figure of a T-rex jumped right between them. Hesitating they fired their guns which went through the monster and right through them. They both laid bloodied on the crying boy.
Pages fell out of their pockets, which Genso picked up to read. One was a memo from his dad to the Mafia. Most of the words were covered by blood, but he could only make out a couple.
"Subject, failure... made to rot... another way to destroy... Vongola."
Genso got it now. The reason for the torture, the reason for all this. His purpose, he found: to destroy everything in this world. He has been used by his father, and it was all because of the Mafia.
"I will destroy everything." He vowed, as he crumpled up the bloodied paper with shaky hand. This time he wasn't afraid. He wasn't sad. Genso had never felt this way before. What did they call it? Anger. Yes, that's it. No. It is more than anger, it is, it is... wrath.
Couple Years Later: Genso became assimilated to society. Using his eye power, he convinced the principle of his made-up background. He was allowed to attend school now. From all the things he could destroy, Genso knew what his first target was: "The Vongola". As Genso looked up to the clear sky, a smile creeped up on his face. It's a nice day today.
Quirk: He sleeps standing up because he never was accustomed to too much comfort.
Overview: Genso is an illusion user that also has a fixed eye. The eye is a gateway to one's mind. The left eye was supposed to support Genso in perfecting mind control, however he never was able to use it properly. Genso can use illusions with the aura around him - he manipulates the energy around him, and the victim's mind to create realistic figure that can be devastating if believed to be true.Mind games are a strength of his, as Genso was engineered to be intelligent, and capable of learning very fast. He seems to have a cocky personality to some, but that is because he always smiles.
