Undertale: A tale of Seven Souls

Howdy!

You and your friends seem to have fallen down Mt. Ebott, a place where no humans have ever entered in a long time for fear of monsters finding them and eating them whole. Well. That's a lie, monsters aren't dangerous to humans, not really. A single one of you could wipe out the entire ground with your average kitchen knife if your LV. Was high enough. What does LV. Stand for? LOVE of course. And here LOVE is dangerous. Why? Because if you have LOVE you lack Love. What does that mean? Wouldn't you like to know. But nevertheless I bet your wondering how to get back, huh? Well to bad you can't. Not the way you came in anyways. You have to go though the entire underground and reach the king and his follow BOSS Monsters. And KILL them. Take their soul and then you're able to go back home by bypassing the barrier. What you don't want to kill? Or do you? Well it's to bad, down here its kill... OR BE KILLED!

So that was a little introduction to my Undertale AU RP, as you might have guessed the difference in this RP compared to the game is that instead of each one of the seven human soul falling down into the underground at different times they all have fellen down at once. And each player gets to play as each human child as well as playing a boss monster. Because of this the RP will need lots of planning and I'm hoping you would be able to plan amongst each other as the cast as we know it doesn't exist, their roles will be taken over by the player's BOSS monsters. To balance the humans reset abilities they'll have what's called a 'SOFT RESET' unlike normal resetting the humans can only go back to the point where they died and hopefully they can heal themselves or dodge the attack that killed them, a 'SOFT RESET' doesnt fully erase the memories of monsters, but all the humans remember it completely. A  'TRUE RESET' can only happen once all the human have died, it is like the reset in the game.

Human CS

Name: (First Name only)

Color: (Color of your soul, can be a canon color or an original color)

Appearance: (I recommend using a cartoony or chibi art stlye for this, to make it fit the game art style better but that's up to you.

Personality: (A paragraph should do)

'Weapon': (An item that can be used to defend yourself with, has a unique effect in combat, that is acivated by using an action or item like increased healing when using an item or better at dodging attacks when hit by a monster attack. Weapons can cause damage from 5 - 100 depended on the both the weapon and Human)

'Armor': (A piece of clothing unique to you that has a special effects in and out of combat, like being able to agile in combat or you can better handle being in colf weather or cold weather. Armor add anywhere from 1 - 3 defense)

LV.: (Starts at LV. 1 it will riase as you kill monsters.)
Hp: (Start between anywhere from 20 - 35)
Atk: (Start with 5 + weapon damage)
Def: (Start with 0 + Armor defense)

Theme: (Optional, but it would be cool to have one!)

Relationship: (To be worked on as the RP progress)

Monsters CS

Name: (Often times its Punny, a reference to something and for skeletons a typeface, or could just be badass! it's all up to you!)

Pronouns: (same deal as humans)

Appearance: (as varied as in the game!)

Personality: (At least a paragraph)

Atk: (1 - 10)
Def: (-10 - +999)
Fighting style: (Basiclly your gimmick in your BOSS BATTLE. Do you use chaotic fire Spells? Hard to dodge but weak attacks? Control the battlefield and it's surronding? Change the color of the human SOUL?)
ACT's: (Are there actions that can help avoid attacking you?)
Mercy: (How to avoid killing you. Can be as simple as surviving a certain number of turns in combat, or something way out there that's hard to figure out?)

EDIT: I'd definitely prefer playing as a monster...hopefully to not die in events to come, but stuff happens and I guess relying on every one of the kids to be nice would be silly.

@Hawlin yeah a single child could potentially be very dangerous on their multiple bad seeds would be bad :V The Canon characters for all intents and purposes don't exist. Why? Well I can't say why yet or else it would be a spoiler to the plot, but the Boss monsters take the places of the canon characters but even then the role's relationships could be very different.

Captain of the Royal Guard

Name: Dark/Dog Knight

Pronouns: Male Pronouns

Appearance: After Mercy conditions have been met, fluffy white dog ears will poke out of the helmet. Out of his armor, he is the typical fluffy white dog, but sometimes he'll shapeshift human vocal chords to vocalise humanised barks "Arf arf". In armor, he stands about six feet tall. The armor he wears is of one of the fallen heroes of the Great War.

Appearance

Personality: Pretty much a silent, imposing, ruthless protector, as Undyne seemed to be initially in the game. Over protective of his friends, and fierce to his enemies...get on his good side, and he'll love you forever. It's easy to get on his good side. Not above pawing/nuzzling at legs, knocking people over affectionately, laying/sitting on people's laps. Likes to think of himself as a good dog, but has yet to kick the habit of smoking dog treats with some of the other royal guardsmen.

HP: 90
Atk: 9/6/3
Def: 900
Fighting style: No color change, I don't think?
-Blue blades with homing dogs, some orange and some bombs.
-Bomb dog drop.
-Blue blades which will change into a number of blue homing dogs.
-Rare circle of singing dogs, barks sung alternates in either orange or blue.
-Rare sleeping or jumping dog.

...using an item on a turn when uninjured will throw it at him. Unequipped weapons or armors will have no effect, or be deflected…food items will be eaten, for better or for worse. Feeding a minimum of two food items, one being the last in your inventory will open up two more acting options as well as making Acting effective at all.

(Spoilers)Genocide Conditions

As the Dog is heavily armored, unless the individual has high enough LV (LV12 and up) with weapon, no attacks will do more than bounce off. Throwing a Dark Chocolate Bar at them will have them eat it, and automatically bring the Dog Knight into a Mercy possible state. Two rounds of Acting and the Dog Knight will fall over and the fight with clear out, Mercy will lead to the same result. The Dog Knight will be fallen over in game, and generally unresponsive to interactions, even petting will not rouse them. The sound of a monster's soul breaking is heard once the Dog Knight is left alone and out of sight.

Relationships:
Sir Frog - Never going to stop trying to eat and spitting out the fellow knight.

Dating

A successful date will lead to Dog Knight becoming an inventory item. Interact with a pocket sized dog at your leisure!

Hard Mode Genocide Boss Version

Name: Doggone Dog God

Appearance: After the original Genocide conditions have been met, instead of dying, Dog Knight sheds his armor and morphs to become a tall black wolf-like creature, no less than twelve feet tall. Doggone also seem to speak actual words instead of humanised barks.

Stats:
HP: 999
Atk: 9/6
Def: 666
Fighting style: Your character becomes Orange, you much keep moving or else take passive damage.
-Doggone claws, blue and orange claw marks swipe through the space, panicked looking white dogs pace back and forth along the bottom.
-Three surprised looking bomb dogs are thrown into the space, bouncing around before exploding, sending a number of stars in different directions.
-Jagged teeth will be lining the top and bottom of the space, a blue tongue with come from either the left or right, temporarily negating the effect of an orange heart, you must keep still for this round.

ACT:
Check (First Check: Doggone is bubbling, there is a sickly sweet smell of chocolate in the air.)
Whistle (Doggone howls in response, attacks get harder this turn. Nine straight rounds of this without healing, and Doggone will melt. The battle will end.)
Beckon (Doggone growls, attacks get easier this turn)
Fetch (If any of them have been spared, one of the King's Guard is brought in this turn to attack while Doggone rests. They will make a comment about Doggone.)

It's going to be terrifying if they form a kid posse...all it would take is a leader who wants to do a Genocide run...
Can you imagine one character doing a Pacifist run ahead of everyone else, giving the monsters this idea that humans are actually not all bad, and then have a Genocide run child come out from behind a bush to nope at them with a knife?

@Major Ursa that would makes sense and would be really amazeballs if something like Lord of the Flies happened where they were fighting for leadership before finally breaking off into two separate groups, maybe clashing with each other on when to RESET.

And i wanted to do something sheep/ram related for my monster but images are hard to find.

@Major Ursa A field trip would be a good reason why all these kids would be hanging out each other with the potential age differences amongst each other. The biggest difference about the war is that there's a larger number of BOSS monsters surirved the war so it not just the Queen and king thats left. This was to make it possible for all the kids to bypass the barrier if they go that route. And Dog Knight looks so far!

@Whimsicott Yeah, a field trip sounds good to me. And I think slowly delovloped relationships would be the best way to go!
