Average lifespan: As long as it can continue drinking blood.
True Appearance/form: What you see is what you get.
Race Abilities: Flight, animalistic strength and speed, keen hearing and sonar, great sense of smell.
Weaknesses: Little to no magical abilities.
Strengths: Excellent in stealth hunting, frighteningly brutal and vicious, far more clever that it looks.
Typical: Ahools appear as a nightmarish mix between a rat and a bat with a long tail and no back legs. They can take on a human glamour, but due to their feral nature it is exceedingly difficult to sustain the form for more than a couple hours, and can leave one weakened. They are born predators, bloodthirsty to the core and none too sweet. Despite their barbaric demeanor, they are certainly intelligent and can be quite tricky. They possess flight, great physical power, sonar hearing, and a potent nose. They make ugly babies only with each other and survive on blood. Especially the blood of other intelligent creatures. They are effectively immortal so long as food is nearby, as an ahool can quickly regenerate from severe injury or reverse old age by consuming a proportionate amount of blood. When well fed an ahool is almost impossible to kill, but when starved they are considerably weaker.
Ahools are universally hated by just about every other living creature, considered to be enemies of the living. Guardians are required to kill ahools on sight with extreme prejudice.
Babies: No hybrids.
