You can find his works for free online and he has some pretty quick reads. I would check him out. He describes the indescribable in a very interesting way.

If anyone thinks they may have had ties to criminal activity prior to the SOLDIER program we should tie in our character's background, but other than that I'm also good with past relationships. I feel like most of the other characters were more upstanding prior to the SOLDIER program than Dach was. :(

Shooting the Vice Mayor would have made Matty quite a celebrity in jail I can imagine. I'm sure Dach would have known who he was. Not sure if they would have separate areas for male and female inmates but I'm also not sure if it would matter to the overall RP to fudge it and say we met behind bars?

At some point, we can consider that they've met at a place where all inmates of both genders are allowed to be merged. Perhaps at the mess hall or a recreational area.

Relationship-wise, we could say Dach was the only inmate whom Matty spoke with the most. He shared her a lot of stories behind the Capital's charades and how the links of his fiancee's murder were connected to the vice mayor. We can also say that Matty developed a certain kind of friendship with Dach during his time in prison.

I'm thinking that Dach would be pretty into meeting someone and hearing stories about the other side of the tracks. She'd also be able to get him things he needed in jail; cigarettes, nail files, books, magic cards, whatever. ;) I like the friendship forced by circumstance. PLUS, who doesn't like a wounded man like Matty?
