Jules was eager to explore the ship some more. He had done his research, but he wanted to see it with his own eyes now. He had been so busy as of late, not to mention what had happened with Addy. It would be nice if some magic happened during this trip. He had longed for this trip as it would allow him to take his mind from anything, even if just for a little while. He nodded at Jar "The phone stays off though." he smiled. They knew how it was, he had a business to run and people never really left him alone. He had told them specifically not to call him, but it would probably take a few days for them to get the message. "Let's go!"

In the restaurant he opened his menu to the Japanese dishes. Something that was drilled to him during his long time doing aikido. His teacher had often taken them out for Japanese. If he had learned one thing during his lessons it was that Japanese food was his thing. To drink he ordered a glass of wine of a brand he had never heard before. It was one of his habits to try new wines when he could. This would probably be his last drink for a short time. If there was one other thing that had been drilled into him, it was discpline. Much to other guys' disdain, he never really went all the way. But he could keep up with them without it. "Just you wait Hunter. This will completely blow the derby out of the water.

As the food came and the talking continued Jules would sometimes seem rather lost in thought, only half-listening to the banter of his friends. He ate slowly, playing a little bit with his food at times as he thought. He wasn't exactly sure what he wanted. He wanted to have fun, sure, but what else did he want here? The last months had been quite... eventfull. He wanted to take this time off to forget his normal life for a bit. Maybe Jar's idea was indeed the best option Which of the pools will have the hottest girls, though?" returning the gesture to Jar before he turned his attention to Hunter's antics and started laughing. He liked hunter, he breathed some life in the group. He was very different from the calm and serious Jules. It helped him from getting completely lost within himself at times. "I think we'll have to start as soon as possible. We can't let others have the best ones, after all." He grinned as he began wolfing down his food.

Things seemed to be going great! Hunter was pretty sure the alcohol wasn't in control, and if it was there was no cars around for him to wreck! "Alright then! Let's pool this!" Hunter finished his meal and the next few moments seemed to fly by.

-Leave restaurant
-grabs swimming clothes
-find pool
-get lost
-realize he left others
-Finds a pretty girl
-says something inappropriate
-gets first aid for broken nose

The night was going good. And the pool was nice. Though Hunter was starting to realize that he may have left faster then the other realized. It didn't matter, things seemed to normally go like that. All he had to do now was find a way to draw attention so his peeps could find him again!

Hunter stole the first microphone he could find. Even though this pool was not really meant for karaoke, he was determined to try. He use to be good at singing, like 7 years ago. But it's a skill that never fades right? Even when drunk out of your mind right? "GOOD MORNING... BOAT PEOPLE!" He had to think about that for a moment, almost forgot where he was. "Today! I will go with a good old classic I like to call..." And another fail moment. He had no idea what to even do, he couldn't remember what songs he still remembered all the words to. "Hold on I got this..." He stood for a moment trying to think, ignoring the staff member he stole the mic from.

Delilah was a bit worried about Yuki when the young girl showed some hesitation about her Solarium plan, but was ecstatic when she finally nodded with a smile and said: "Sure! Sounds fun!" Lila squealed, gave a few little jumps of joy while clapping her hands and hit the number eleven on the panel without further ado. On the way, Addy had shown her excitement by declaring that the trip would be something they'd never ever forget along with a little dance, and had asked about an open mic night with a Cheshire smile on her face that Lila knew all too well.

"Oh God, Addy... Please don't even think about it. You'll have all the guys in the bag and leave none for Yuki and me!" Lila whined, but smiled teasingly at Adelisa to show she was just joking.

They reached the eleventh floor in a matter of seconds. As soon as they stepped out, Lila let out a gasp of surprise. The place was stunningly beautiful. The floor had a fantastic view of the dark blue ocean and the residing Texas coast line. Right in front of them, the juice bar that Lila had been talking about was open, offering a wide selection of fruit drinks to quench the thirst of those who didn't fancy alcohol. To their left was a fancy-looking Italian restaurant that Lila made note to visit (she was an Italian food addict at heart, so might as well), and to their right stood a water park complete with slides, water cannons and waterfalls. Suddenly, Lila's idea of the Solarium was put on hold as the inner child in her expressed a desire to play around the water park.

She turned to her friends with a pleading smile. "So um... Would you guys call me crazy for wanting to ditch the whole Solarium idea for a bit and just go there after we have a little fun in the water park?" Lila asked them in a small voice. She hadn't been in a water park in years, and she hadn't outgrown the novelty of it even if she was 22. Sure, Lila could seem like the whole sexy, confident, mature woman (and people were right in assuming so); but in moments like this, she felt like a young girl again.

Yuki couldn't help but feel rather excited about the whole thing. While she wasn't for the boy aspect of the trip, she fully planned on enjoying the rest of the trip with her friends. This was a time where she could be with them and not have to worry about school or anything else. Here no one knew her and she could relax, take a few pictures and maybe sketch a few pictures. As Delilah hit the number eleven button, Yuki shared in Adelisa's excitement though she didn't jump around like she secretly wanted to. A big smile did appear on her face, making her dimples appear. As Adelisa mentioned an open mic, she didn't groan teasingly like their other friend. Yuki didn't care if all the boys devoted their attention to her two friends. She smiled encouragingly. "I would like to hear you sing Addy." She said. She liked Adelisa's voice, it was amazing and made the petite girl wish she could have a voice like that. But oh well. Can't have it all.

As the elevator doors opened, Yuki's smile morphed into a look of awe as she gazed around her. Her hands twitched for a moment, the urge to take pictures washing over her and she felt slightly regretful she didn't have her camera with her. She placed it on her to-do list as she stepped off onto the floor with her friends. This place was amazing! She was happy to see they had fruity drinks for the non-alcoholics as her eyes skid over the restaurant, noting they should try there later. But her full attention was captured by the water park resting before them. At Delilah's plead to go there first, Yuki turned to her with big eyes.

"You don't have to ask me twice!"

She then turned to look at Addy, deploring her puppy-dog eyes. Yuki knew that it was cheating but come on, it was a water park!

Jules had asked which pool would have the hottest girls. “Well, I’d say the 18+ one, that way there’s no jailbait issues.” Jar said with a chuckle and took a sip of his beer. If one could feel mellow and excited at the same time, that’s what he felt. This place was awesome and he couldn’t wait to see what the week would bring.

The guys finished their food as hungry men often do, scarfing it down and all but missing the taste of it. They had made it back to the suite as a group and went their separate ways to change clothes, well, those of them that needed to did. Jareth put his black and grey trunks on and kept his weathered Atreyu tanktop on, once at the pool he wouldn’t be wearing it anyway. Knowing that he would soon be shirtless in front of girls set his testosterone in motion and he promptly did a few dozen sit ups and push ups to get his muscles flexed. Jar wasn’t a super buff dude, but being a stage personality kept him aware of his appearance, and personal upkeep was important to him. There really was something to say for the whole 'when you look good, you feel good' thing in his opinion.

Jareth gave his hair a check in the mirror. He had trimmed it a bit since the break up and his dark brown, nearly black, locks fell to just about his eyebrows and below his ears on the sides. Once he emerged from his room he saw Jules, but Hunter was nowhere to be found. “He probably already took off.” Jar said, “Hopefully the wayward kid made it there without getting escorted away by security.” Jareth opened the door for them and locked it once they left. “To Solarium!” he announced happily, as if it were some battle cry.

It wasn’t so hard to spot Hunter upon arrival to the pool, as he had stolen the mic from some poor staff member. Was he trying to get them kicked off? Jar rolled his eyes and turned to Jules, he wasn’t going to go down with that ship (hehe). He eyed the juice bar instead of acknowledging Hunter. “Hmm, I really want to drink something out of a coconut. But, maybe I should wait till we get to our first island for that.” he mused to Julius. There was also a big indoor water park nearby. Jareth did a double take at some girl in pink, she was kind of far away, but she looked familiar. Odd...

Jules' interest clearly sparked when Jar mentioned the existance of the 18+ pool. "Wait, hold up. Hunting without headaches?" he smirked "I think I have found my natural habitat!" He was joking. The guys knew Jules wasn't really a skirt-chaser, at least not constantly. However, that didn't mean he'd pass up the oppurtunity given an entire pool of hot girls. If there was onething Jules called himself, it would be an oppurtunist. And this oppurtunity was too nice to pass up. "Dibs on the sexy ones, all of them."

Once he was back in his room he jumped in the bed and relaxed for a bit. Changing into his swimming trunks would only take a second, he had the time. He pulled out his phone that had been turned off all this time. I should at least check, shouldn't I? he thought to himself as he turned it on. To his surprise, he had only about seven missed calls. Ever since his company had taken off he had hired a few employees. Ever since then his phone has been bombared with calls. He was happy to see his vacation time was at least somewhat respected. He might call back tomorrow, but not now.

He got up and switched into simple blue swimming trunks along with a white shirt. Before putting on the shirt, he briefly inspected himself in the mirror and smiled "Still got it." Swimming tends to develop the body in its own particular way, and he had done a lot of it. He had rather broad shoulders and well defined abdominal muscles. Just the way he liked it; muscular but not buff. He probably would've fallen in love with swimming even if it was purely for vanity. It helped that he actually enjoys the sport itself, though. After his short period of self-appreciation, he went to fetch Jar. "Would be less competition for us." He laughed at his battlecry. He would let him draw attention here, he'd take it back in the pool.

"We know that guy?" he joked to Jar as they noticed Hunter. Just like Jar he wasn't too keen on getting dragged into that. "Nothing's stopping you from doing it both times. Either way, I see greater priorities." Jules was naturally talking about the many girls around. Not to mention, Jules couldn't wait to jump into that pool. The touch of water on his skin was something he had been craving for a while. "Don't forget, called dibs." he smirked as he ran for the pool. All he wanted to do right now was relax.

Addy smiled at the two girls and said "you guys should do it, but I haven't gone to a water park in years! Besides, I see a few things I might have to put on my to-do list." She spotted the back of a guy with tattoos running up and down his arms and instantly zoned in on his behind before looking back at her friends and giggling. "But what the hell, right? Let's do it!" She smiled and shrugged. Something felt off about the trip now, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Was it that she just wasn't at home? Or maybe it's the fact that she didn't have her guitar? She just got the odd feeling that something was going to happen.

Addy shrugged it off and smiled. "Let's do this thing! To the waterpark!" she said with a smirk. It was time to let loose and forget about everything, including Jules. Of course, she if his name was even mentioned her blood would boil. He was attractive, that's for sure, but he was such a manipulative jerk! He wanted someone "tame", and that sure as hell was not her. She cleared her thoughts before she grew angrier and started walking to the waterpark.

Once Hunter was forced to give the microphone back he may have replied with some colorful words. Though when he started walking off he walked his way back to the employee who he apologized to soon after. At least Hunter thinks he apologized? What did matter though was even though Hunter was still a bit drunk he was still in the right mind to know that there were some nice people in need of his attention at the pool.

Hunter noticed both Jareth and and Jules at what seemed to be another bar? Didn't matter, Hunter was drunk enough and if he wanted more to drink he has some in his bag back in his room. Hunter made his way to the water park, looking at the whole place like if he was a kid again. And it felt great. "LET'S DO THIS!" Hunter ran to the water park making it about 10 feet before he tripped and fell. But quickly recovering to continue running.

Hunter did what he always does when first entering any form of amusement park, go down the biggest slide he could find. Once at the bottom he found himself in a pool. Once surfacing he knew he must have been drunk as hell. He was starting to see things now? That was a new one. He crawled his way out of the pool and ran his way over to a group of ladies. "Hey Ladies! There's no way you're going to believe this but... You guys all look like some people I use to know!" He pointed to one of them. "I mean you look like my ex even!" He'd start laughing. "I mean could you imagine how awkward that would be! Especially with the threats I got from her dad!" He started laughing a lot harder before something came to him. These girls looked... very familiar. It was the tattoo that got his attention. A tattoo of five black stars that formed an S shape on the arm of one of them. "Well... son of a fuck."

With an excited squeal, Lila ran to the nearby lockers to safely tuck away her belongings, waited for the other girls to do so too before taking off her cover-up and running to the stairs that led to the water slide. She took turns to ride in all of them, giggling happily with her hands in the air every time she went down each slide. So far this trip was going very well, and she was having so much fun! Fun was welcome when you were a Chemistry major like her that, apart from her difficult classes, did 20 hours of undergraduate research weekly. If this was a sign of how the rest of her vacation would go, then it was certainly going to be one of her best ones ever (not the first one, though. That time she went to Iceland and saw the Aurora Borealis was totally in first place.)

After getting tired of going up and down the slides, Lila and the girls had been splashing away, playfully having a water fight when a drunk guy staggered in their direction. Lila had her back to him, so she didn't notice this until she heard a familiar voice shout out: "Hey Ladies! There's no way you're going to believe this but... You guys all look like some people I used to know!"

Delilah's blood began to boil when she instantly recognized the voice, and face had changed from happy to disbelieving to annoyed to downright furious in record time. What were the odds that out of all the people in the world she could've bumped into on this cruise, it had to be the man who'd happen to almost run over her? Apparently, the ones that weren't in her favor.

The guy didn't stop there. He had started laughing like a complete idiot and continued to shout: "I mean could you imagine how awkward that would be! Especially with the threats I got from her dad!"

At that, Lila finally mustered the strength to turn around and face her fears, and she was upset to see that her prayers of this being just some sick joke were unanswered. With the anger she was feeling, all the she managed to say to him was: "He should've send you to jail, you lucky bastard."

The guy apparently found her threat amusing, because he started laughing a lot harder. She saw his eyes fall onto the tattoo on her left wrist, and nearly laughed as she watched how the realization of who he was talking to dawned on him and his laughter slowly faded. "Well... son of a fuck." he finally said.

Delilah turned to the girls and motioned them to come over. "Well, look who it is... Girls, meet the one and only Hunter Monroe!" she said in her coldest, most sarcastic voice, giving him a once over. At least once a day, she asked herself what drug had she been on when she decided to give Hunter a chance. The guy was an alcoholic, reckless to the core; a complete opposite to Delilah's careful, meticulous and perfectionist personality. She blamed it on those stupid tutoring sessions she had to give him. After having a small identity crisis, Lila's college therapist had suggested she distract herself with something that kept her mind occupied. Knowing she was good at math, Wendy offered to find her a spot on the tutoring group, and Hunter happened to be her assigned student. It was probably those few hours spent together everyday that, after around a month, they had decided to date. Of course, that obviously didn't end well...

"Judging from your signature pink cheeks, I assume you've already started on your booze-filled journey. But, hey, at least everyone in this cruise is safe from you hitting them with your car because you're too fucking intoxicated to realize you had the leaver in Drive instead of Reverse, right?" Lila raised her left forearm and pointed to a scar in her wrist that she'd tried to cover up with her star tattoos.

Hunter Monroe

There is rarely an occasion where Hunter will raise his voice, in fact the only time he really speaks his mind is when he is really drunk. So the next few moments were interesting. Hunter stopped for a moment to let Delilah finish her rant, then he was going to attempt to calmly express himself. Which in his state may not last long at all. "Okay the, now that you are done it's my turn to complain and rant like a little kid." He said in a mocking voice. "First off, I want to point out that both Hunter, and Monroe are very common names. Chances are there is at least one if not more Hunter Monroe's." He clapped his hands together attempting to keep a happy face on. "I would also like to point out that I did get jail time! But not from hitting you with my car. No, I got jail time for driving drunk to get you bloody ass to the DAMN HOSPITAL!" Then he snapped. "Don't get me wrong! I know I am not perfect! But I tried! I was more then willing to take my punishment for what I did to you! I DID IN FACT! The only reason that I am not in prison now is because I begged your white collar daddy to please stop ruining my FUCKING LIFE! I lost everything from that day! I had to stop paying bills just to pay for a damn lawyer! I had to sell anything I had of value to pay for that lawyer against him! All I had left was the piece of fucking shit car that I won in a damn demolition DERBY!" His heart was racing, he was pretty sure it skipped a few beats. He wasn't sure if he was yelling or not, and at this point he didn't care.

His hands started following him as he continued his rant. "BUT! I suppose you wouldn't understand having to crawl your way from absolutely nothing now would you? You spoiled little BRAT! If you wanted something all you had to do was complain to daddy and he would get it for you! You know what I had to do if I wanted something more then my meals and rent? I WORKED FOR DAMN WEEKS! IF NOT MONTHS TO GET IT! If I couldn't afford rent or food I couldn't go beg my parents for money, no. I had two choices then, go beg my friends or sleep in my damn car until I had the money again!" He was about to continue, though his blood pressure and the contents in his stomach disagreed.

After stopping himself from throwing up he decided he wasn't done yet. He realized that he was making things worse, but if he didn't say what he was thinking now he thought he never would. "I also want to point out that I was in that damn hospital well your "Daddy" was off doing who knew what!" He thought deep down maybe he was traveling on the way, but that was besides the point. " AND YES! You have your reasons to be mad! I don't fucking blame you! But next time you decide to mention what people "Deserve", Think about the fact that most people, actually work a shit ton of hours just to even hope to get something decent." He was nodding in self approval. "Also before I forget I think I found some of your makeup in my car, I tried to call about that but you blocked my number and you dad said if I go near you again I could expect to see worse then the last court case. Also, I am not that drunk yet. I am going through AA now so HA! I FUCKING WIN!" He was really drunk, if that could be used to describe it.

Sporting a large smile upon hearing Addy's agreement, Yuki darted after Delilah towards the lockers. There she slipped her cover-up off and folded it neatly before setting it inside the locker along with her flip-flops, phone, and I.D. card. She shut the door and locked it, sliding the key-bracelet over her wrist. As she stood there waiting for her friends to follow her example, she was completely oblivious to the appreciative stares she was getting from some of the guys around them. It was always like this, Yuki being completely oblivious to the looks she would get. She had been called cute before, by many who were flirting in an attempt to hook up with her. But the thing about Yuki is she is completely lost on flirting, it going right over her head. She was like a cute, innocent puppy. When it came to romance, everything had to be spelled out for the petite girl. So she didn't think about anything as she let out a small squeal of her own and followed after Lila. She felt like a little girl again, when her parents took her to the water park on her ninth birthday. They really didn't have the money to normally afford something like that but her parents had pooled their money in order to make it a memorable day for her. It felt like that only better since the water-park was a bit more grand-scale than the other one.

She tried to ride all of the rides, feeling a little hesitant on the higher ones but once she got over her initial fear, she had a blast. The large smile never left her face as she let herself forget about Jareth and enjoy herself as much as possible. After they got tired of the slides they relaxed in the pool, having a mild water fight that Yuki lost terribly in and just floated in the water. It was going great until some guy stumbled over to them, clearly drunk. Yuki felt herself tense slightly. Jar had been drunk when he had done what he did and ever since Yuki has not been fond of alcohol. As the guy began rambling about how they looked familiar, Yuki squinted up at him. Judging by the way he was talking he was definitely drunk.

Yuki was rather surprised when Delilah stiffened at the sound of his voice before launching into a rant about the guy, the guy quickly firing off a response. Yuki stood there with wide eyes, she glanced over at Addy before took a step forward and laid a gentle hand on Lila's arm. "L-Lila? M-Maybe we s-should go." Yuki whispered in a shaky voice. She couldn't help it, she get nervous and scared around conflict and especially when people raise their voices. She also didn't trust drunk guys; she never knew what they would do in their intoxicated state.

“Nothing’s stopping you from doing it both times. Either way, I see greater priorities.” Jules said as he eyed the crowd of pool-goers. “Ain’t that the truth.” he said as his eyes swept across the sea of swimsuits. Truth be told, he hadn’t messed around with a girl since that party. Yuki had managed to keep him celibate for their 3 month relationship, which was pretty much a record in his book, something which didn't pan out well for either of them. And yet, even now that he had ended things, she still somehow had a hold of his balls through guilt. Not anymore, though… thought Jar as Jules took off for the pool.

“Your dibs ain’t gonna mean shit when they find out I’m a musician.” he replied as he ran after Jules, stripping off his shirt in the process and revealing the menagerie of tattoos that covered his torso, back, and arms. Most of the money that he got from gigs that didn’t go towards rent and food went to his ink. It also helped that he was apprenticing at a tattoo shop a day or two a week and got discounts and even a few free tattoos from the other people who were learning the trade. Say what you want about Jar’s loose morals, lack of common sense, or book smarts, but he was far from lazy, and a true artist through-and-through.

Jar took a running jump from the edge of the pool and dove into the deep end, disregarding the sign that clearly read ‘No jumping or diving!’ Jar’s cannonball made a mediocre splash, he wasn’t really a huge guy after all, and some of the nearby girls screeched and giggled at the aquatic onslaught. The lifeguard tooted his whistle and gave Jar a disapproving glare, but didn’t force him to get out or anything. Jareth shook his head and water slung from the locks of his hair. Picking up chicks wouldn’t work so well with a helmet of hair clinging to his head, it was best to get it loose and go for the wet rocker-chic look. Surely there was some pale, thin girl with dark hair, tattoos and enticing piercings around to catch his eye...

Addy's eyes widened at the scene before her and Yuki. Just a few minutes before they were having a good time, going from slide to slide, and then all of a sudden Lila was telling off this drunk. Seemingly enough they knew eachother by what they were saying. Addy then noticed Yuki ask if they should go and Addy knew just how uncomfortable she was.

Addy crossed her arms and sighed. She looked at the guy and said "whoever you are, I don't care, you need to apologize." She looked at Delilah and said "we're going to go to the pool, obviously Yuki isn't really comfortable with this situation and neither am I. We'll leave you two to settle your... issues." Addy had to be serious in this. It was hard on her to leave her friend in a distressing manner, but she needed to get Yuki out of there. She knew how scared she was.

Addy grabbed Yuki's hand and walked her away from the problem, taking her to Solarium. She smiled softly at Yuki and said "she's got this, I promise. Besides, we came here to have fun and that... was just awkward." She giggled softly before reaching the pool and looking around. She saw some pretty hot guys, shirtless and water being a good mix for her, and she said "we also have a better view here." She winked at Yuki and started running toward the pool. She was stopped by the whistle of a life guard, him giving her a warning glare, and she stopped. She gave him a smirk and a mock salute.

"Well then, have fun playing them the water-guitar!" Jules laughed as he ran ahead of Jar. He had never been a music type of person. He remembers that his father had tried to give him piano lessons when he was eight. It was one of his father's passions. However, Jules never had the patience nor the talent. He wanted something that he could put all his energy into, and music didn't do that for him. It's why he liked sports so much. They allowed him to push himself, exert every part of his body to its utmost. There was something strangely satisfying about the feeling of exhaustion afterward, but he always failed at providing a proper explanation. Addy, on the other hand, had been the musical one. He felt no shame in admitting it was her voice that had mesmerized him, turning his simple interest into actual desire. No, he shouldn't think more about the subject! He came here explicitly to not think about those things. He wanted to forget his normal life, but he esspecially wanted to forget Addy. He jumped for the water, the feeling of the water absolved him of everything if only for a while. He drifted in the water, dismissing the lifeguard's whistle at him and Jar with only a half-hearted wave. Like this he was content, and no lifeguard could change that.

And so he drifted, still like a plank of wood. He moved only to steer himself so he wouldn't bump into others. He felt as if he was part of the water itself as it caressed him. This alone might've made the trip worth it all on its own. At least, so he thought before he reconsidered. How could that alone be enough when there was so much more to find? So many different activities, so much adventure! And lets not forget: so much beauty, feminine beauty. Jules really wasn't someone who constantly looked out for his next potential mate. However, there truly was no better time than now. Not only was he a single man on a ship filled with pretty ladies, he also had an incredible need for distraction. Everything about this cruise shouted 'oppurtunity!'. And Jules still called himself an oppurtunist with pride.

He pulled himself up from his drifting position, then swam towards the pool's edge. From here he looked around, curious at his immediate surroundings. For a moment he remembered Hunter, who still hadn't returned from the water park. Was that place so much fun? Maybe he would check it out later. He shifted his gaze to his right, towards the waterpark. It only took him a second to spot two girls. Although in any other situation he would've given most of his attention to the adorable one, it was the other girl that caught his attention this time. He could feel his stomach turn. For a moment he thought his eyes were deceiving him. He wondered what kind of sick delusions would make him see her of all people. However, as she drew closer it became impossible to deny the only option: It was her. Fuck He tried to compose himself as he looked upward and straight at her face. She was bound to notice him at some point as she came closer. He waited for that moment, studying whatever expression she'd have before talking. "What a... coincidence." Addy would be able to notice that Jules was audibly uneasy, not a first but rare enough. He had no idea how this would go, but it would be awkward, that was a given.

Delilah watched with amusement as Hunter said all the things that he'd clearly been wanting to say for a long time. The young man started off by mocking Lila, saying that he'd start to complain and rant like a child. He followed with a dumb explanation about how common his first and last name was, which Lila couldn't really understand how that had to do with him nearly running her over. Next, he clarified that he had indeed done some jail time because he'd gotten a DUI for driving her to the hospital. ("Which wouldn't have happened in the first place if you hadn't decided to leave your place while drunk," she interrupted), told her that he was willing to take his punishment for what he did to her ("As you should"), that the only reason he wasn't on jail at the moment was because he'd had to beg her 'white-collared' father to 'stop ruining his life' (which was nothing more than him wanting the man who'd hurt his daughter to have his punishment), and that he'd had to sell pretty much all of his valuables to pay for the costs of a lawyer to defend him against the lawsuit. At that, Lila gave him a mocking sympathetic face. The only reason that he was out today wasn't because of his begging, but it was actually because Lila had asked her father to drop the charges. Had Lila told her father that she'd been dating Hunter and that the accident had occurred because she'd been standing in front of his car trying to stop him from driving drunk after she told him things weren't working out, she was sure the guy would be doing the longest time he could be charged with.

Adelisa took this moment to tell Hunter that he needed to apologize, say to Lila that she was leaving them to solve their issues and making a run for it after grabbing Yuki's hand. Lila didn't even have enough time to reply before Hunter continued his rant by calling her a spoiled little brat that would get everything she wanted by just asking her father (at this, Lila let out a laugh) and listing all of the struggles he had to go through to pay for the basics like groceries and rent-struggles that she wouldn't know about because she had her parents' support. Since she'd pretty much grown up hearing envious people throw these comments at her, Lila was used to them. Add that to the fact that Hunter was drunk, and it was all the more reason to simply laugh it off and not take it personally. After all, his comments didn't make her privileges disappear or lessen, so why bother getting offended? But not getting offended didn't mean that she wouldn't say something back. So Lila took the chance during a pause Hunter made to cheekily comment: "Well, what can I say? It's not my fault I was born into this lifestyle. I'm just blessed" while putting her hands together as if in prayer.

"Clearly AA hasn't done shit to you," Lila told him, that annoying, amused smile still plastered on her face. "But I gotta say, Hunter, alcohol does have a way of making you much more entertaining than usual. But anyway, the makeup you can get rid of, because I totally replaced it with my 'daddy's money-'" she did air quotes at the last two words. "Next, you're forgetting that my father had to take a 4-hour flight to get to the hospital, so I didn't expect him to get there in minutes. And just in case you've ever wondered about the origins of that monthly food supply that since a few months ago gets delivered to your house: you're welcome. Even us 'spoiled little brats' help out the less fortunate. Call it my act of charity."

And with that, she waved at him and left the water park. She walked directly to the lockers to retrieve her things, making sure to try and dry herself as much as she could before slipping on her over-up and sandals. Lila stood in front of the lockers for a moment, trying to see what she did next. She was alone and stressed out, so what would be the best thing to do in this situation? 'I need a massage' she whined in her head, remembering that there was a spa at the other end of the floor she was in. The annoyed scowl she'd had after turning her back to Hunter softened as each step she took towards the spa, finding comfort in the thought of expert hands on her back ridding her of all her stress. That Hunter was in the cruise didn't mean that she wasn't going to have a good time. She'd have to keep an eye out to avoid him or any further accidents, but she wouldn't let it get to her. 'I won't let it get to me' was the mantra she kept repeating in her mind all the way to the spa, where she was quickly tended to.

Addy looked up and her jaw dropped. Her eyes went wide with realization and anger, as she was there to forget about this jackass. She shook her head and said "not today!" before doing the only thing she could: jumping into the pool. She didn't care if she ran away from the problem, she just needed to escape. She rose to the surface and flipped him the middle finger, as if that would make him disappear.

She of course took the child's way out, as that was the only thing she could do. She wanted nothing to do with, she called, Julius Ceasar. She wanted to get over him. If that meant getting under someone else then so be it, but over him none the less. Addy swam away from him to the other side of the pool and sighed in relief. Hopefully, he wouldn't be persistant on talking because she was not in the mood to talk to him.

She rested her elbows on the edge of the pool and looked around, avoiding Julius all together. She noticed another man in the pool, his hair long and tattoos large. Her type of man. She smirked slightly as she checked the man out before glancing at Jules again. How did she ever date him? They were definitely not eachother's types but she still fell into his trap. How? She rolled her eyes and leaned her head back, humming her favorite Evanescence song, My Immortal.

Was everyone running into their ex's today? Yuki wondered at that as she watched Addy seem to recognize a guy in the pool they had escaped to. She glanced back at Delilah to make sure she was okay before she turned back to scene in front of her. She watched as her friend jumped into the pool and swam away from the guy, leaving the petite girl standing there alone. She sighed and was about to slip into the water after her friend when another guy caught her eye. She did a double-take as she recognized him, mouth falling open. "Jar? She wasn't sure if she said the name or mouthed it since it felt like she suddenly couldn't get any air. It felt like someone had sucker-punched her in the stomach. Was the boat tilting? Or was it her? She couldn't feel her legs anymore. She pitched forward, almost falling into the pool. Luckily there was a guy standing there and he managed to catch her before she careened headlong into the water. Her eyes remained locked on Jareth as she dimly heard the guy ask her if she was okay.

Her brain seemed to break from whatever trance it had been in and kicked her body into action. She did was she did best: run. She whirled and darted away from the pool and towards the lockers. Her hand was shaking so much that it took her three times to get the key into the lock but when she did she grabbed her things and swiftly dropped the key off at the locker desk before making her way towards the elevator. She felt really bad that she was leaving her friends without any explanation but she just couldn't stay in the same place as him. Why, why was Fate so cruel to have them be on the same boat together? She had come on this trip to forget about him and wouldn't luck have it that here he was. She could feel the tears burning to escape but she managed to hold them at bay until she reached their hotel room. She numbly dropped her things off in her room and locked herself in the bathroom.

She turned on the hot water and stripped out of her bathing suit. She stepped into the shower and closed her eyes, letting the hot water run over her. Finally, the dam she had built since their break-up broke and all the hurt and anger rushed over her. She slid to the floor and wrapped her arms around her knees, her sobs muffled by the shower as her tears mixed in with the water streaming down her face.

Jareth looked around the pool. There were blondes, brunettes, thin, curvy, you name it, and it was there. Jar wasn’t typically a shallow guy, looks weren’t everything to him. Talent was the most attractive thing, music especially. Yuki’s skill with piano and violin had lured him in more than anything. Of course, that wasn’t all of it. She was beautiful and cherubic, and her innocence made her all the more enticing. He had hoped for things to have gone differently with them. He had hoped that she could fix him, because he so desperately needed someone to be the glue to hold his pieces together.

Jar had wanted them to work out, but he had also wanted more from Yuki than she was willing to offer, and his stupid desires made him make stupid decisions. Jar knew it was wrong, and that’s why he chose to end things, but of course he had waited until he had royally fucked up to do so. What’s worse? That he didn’t even tell her the whole truth about it. Yeah, he got a blowie at a party, but… it wasn’t because he was drunk. No, he was high on E at the time, at least that’s what he thinks those pills were… And he had two options: own up to the fact that he sometimes self-medicated his feelings with drugs, or lie. Yuki didn’t know about his drug problem, and he didn’t want to change that, so he chose the option that made him a monster in more ways than one, and he lied to spare himself.

The sound of splashing water pulled Jar out of his thoughts and he shook his head slightly. He wasn’t supposed to think about her this week, he was supposed to stop beating himself up over one stupid mistake. Jareth looked up at the source of the fortunate distraction from his thoughts. A girl with cherry red, black-tipped hair and a sleeve of tattoos had just jumped into the pool. No, Jar wasn’t normally a shallow person, but in that moment, he kind of was. It took all his focus to keep his jaw from dropping and instead to send her a charming smile and a wink before looking away, playing the part of coy.

Looking away was a mistake, because who else did he see? None other than the aforementioned Yuki, and she was looking right at him. Shit. Shit, shit, shit. He immediately felt consumed with guilt because she had noticed him just as he was clearly checking out another girl. And then she took off running, sending another wave of guilt through him. No matter how much his mistake and their break up hurt him, he knew it hurt her at least twice as much. Jar debated going after her, but what good would that do? He was the problem, and the source of all her pain. Jareth sighed and looked down at the waves, feeling like some incredible kind of asshole. He couldn’t even bare to look at the girl with red hair for fear that she had seen the whole thing.

Suddenly, the water slides sounded like a much more fun idea than staying here. That, and a few stiff drinks.

Jules wasn't sure how he should feel about seeing Addy again. At the very least, he wasn't happy about it. Their relationship had never been smooth in the first place. The two of them had completely different tastes, they wanted different things. However, it was always Julius who had gotten his way without exception. Not only was he a manipulative jackass who loved getting his way, Addy actively avoided confrontation altogether. Imposing his will had been so easy. Retrospectively, it wasn't surprising that Addy had left him for that. He could see his fault, he really could. However, he still believed this was not only his fault. She could've tried to voice her opinion, seek confrontation, attempt to get things to work in a way they both liked. At the very least, that is what Julius liked to believe. In reality Julius is quite a bit more forceful than he likes to believe himself. Ultimately, the entire ordeal left a sour taste in Julius' mouth, and Addy leaving him had left a dent in his pride. Unfortunately for Addy, Jules was rather fond of his pride.

In his head he had visualized all sorts of scenarios of her reaction to seeing him again. He had somewhat expected her signature nervous lip bite at the very least. Addy however chose for the coward's way out, followed by a middle finger. Julius had expected her to at least show a bit more of a spjne, at least in front of a friend. He looked at the swimming Addy, then at the girl she left behind, then back at Addy. One of his predictions had come true at least; this situation was horribly awkward. He got out of the water and walked towards the girl. It was probably smart to explain the situation to her at least a little bit. Not to mention, this girl was actually pretty cute. "Well... sorry about that." Jules said, trying to break the ice at least a little. How were you supposed to talk to someone who had just witnessed that? This girl, however, did not respond to him at all. She was looking elsehwere, somehwere part Julius. Before Jules could ask her anything he saw the girl falling over. Julius' reflexes were keen, and he caught her before he had even realised it. "Hey. You okay? He helped her back on her feet. Yet, this girl still hardly noticed him. Without giving him as much as a glance, she ran away from the pools. That were two girls in five minutes who had ran away from him. A new record surely. But no, he knew this girl hadn't fled from him. There was something else.

He looked into the direction the girl had been looking, but he couldn't see anything special. There were quite a few people in that direction, among which were Addy and Jar. There was no real way for Jules to make out what exactly had happened. What he however did see was Addy clearly checking out his friend. You could just see by looking at them both that they definitely had more in common than he and Addy had ever had. Julius grinned, did she really think she could casually go check out other guys after what had just happened? Her choice would be a very unfortunate one, as she was about to find out. Julius casually made his way over to Jareth, trying to seem as unfazed as possible in regards to Addy's presence. However, he was sure that there was at least some irritation to be found within his expression. He tapped Jar's shoulder to get his attention. "I'm done with the pool. Shall we go find Hunter?" He didn't even give Addy as much as a glance, but he knew she would at least be watching if she had indeed been checking Jar out. He didn't want Addy, of all people, to get even remotely close to one of his friends. Not only that, he could find satisfaction in ruining her day just a little bit more. And surely, the realization that this was Jules' friend would do just that.

Hunter Monroe

So the argument with Delilah was a good way to put Hunter in a shit mood. But what really got Hunter was what she said about the monthly food things. He was about to ask what food shipments when she had already left. "What fucking food packages!?" He was trying to think, then it occurred to him. He had moved so many times in the last few months he didn't even know his own address. Some ass hat was getting his food! Not that he really wanted it if it was from her, but still! Hunter wanted to start yelling and going after her, but when he was about to start he realized... would he normally do this? Was he even in control of himself anymore? He looked at his own hands for a moment. "fuck..." Then he panicked, and ran.

Hunter didn't make it far before his drunk ass tripped over a table and a few chairs. He stood back up again only to do it again a second time. By the third time he sat himself down in one of the hallways to the boat, unable to keep focused on pretty much anything. "What... Am I doing.... with my life..." He looked around at the many doors in the hall, he wasn't a lone, but he was alone as he could be in a place like this.

But he realized, this ship is filled with thousands of people. He could just be careful, and avoid her things should be fine. Set rules, that's what he had to do. As long as he didn't break the rules he should be fine! Rule one, No more drinking. Rule two, Do not talk to Delilah. Rule three, do not talk to pretty girls just because they are pretty, that never ends well. Rule four, no home made fireworks, the probation officer is already pissed off enough. Rule five, have fun! "I... that can be done..."

He stood up with a smile, or as much of one as he could pull off. He quickly noticed the tears fall off his face. Why was he crying? Dammit this is a vacation! Not a crying fest! He wiped his face and ran back outside, he was determined to enjoy this time. Hunter ran around for a moment, almost tripping but still avoiding it. He was still buzzed but he was actually focused on focusing.

Took him only a moment to find both Jareth, and Julius. "GUYS! Guess what! I heard a rumor that they have other pretty girls away from this pool! Let's go anywhere else but here!" He said with a huge smile across his face. "In fact! Let's go to the upper decks! That's all great views and stuff!"
