Up for joining. What about the idea of talking pokemon, (like meowth from the show.) is that something that could work?

^ Also for that maybe the only talking pokemon could be player controlled characters?

Also what about having lots of competitions in the world like, pokemon races and challenges like the ones that were in the orange islands? Like electric pokemon vs. electric pokemon? Or building a sled and sliding down a mountain, double battles? Basically different sorts of competitons could be fun to have and bring some more originality to pokemon.

I'm glad you're up for joining. Not really interested in the idea of a talking pokemon.

The roleplay will primarily be based on the games and such, so maybe competitions like in Heart Gold and Soul Silver? I'd have to fit the events into the locations and into the plot. I do have a map for the Giga Region, so I'd need to figure the events out.

Could some of us be gym leaders?
Would legendary encounters occur like the games, basically after the seventh or eighth gyms?

Could a gym have more than one type of pokemon? Examples in the games (rain helps thunder hit everytime), I don't know if that kind of thing like: "hit everytime would be overpowered in a roleplay sense."

Would weather be in the story, like one day a blizzard hits and our characters could not go anywhere. Could events or natural disasters like that happen?

I want main trainer positions to be filled before I put up gym leaders. But yes, people will be allowed to be gym leaders.

No. Gyms are sticking to one type of pokemon.

What about catching pokemon, would that be us trying to catch the pokemon and you deciding if it would succeed or fail? Like maybe through a dice roll?

Also this region, is like today's world right? So it has everything that our world today does? (Hotels, technology stores, clothes stores, restaurants, the list goes on.)

Can we could create our own original pokemon moves? (Reasonable ones that is.)

What ages would our characters be? Like 12-17? Or could they be older than 17 for main characters?

How would pokemon gain experience and become stronger? How would that be recorded and kept track of?

I control all wild pokemon. Until they're captured.

Yes, it's like today's world.

No, you cannot create your own moves.

Ages 15-17.

Honor-system for experience. As long as your pokemon aren't leveling up left and right, you're fine.

Alright well, I was thinking of a plot and I have noticed that most pokemon game plots revolve around the legendary pokemon of the games... The question is if that is ok with you?

Or should it be a different kind of plot?
