Viole was far away from the Soul Society, wanting to explain this dimension. He was curious of the mysteries it held. He calmly walked, stopping by some strange looking plants. It held many pink blades, which he thoroughly examined to see if they were sharp. A whiff of its scent found its way to his nose, Viole surprised by it. His eyes widened as he took another sniff "Amazing!! I've never smelt anything like this before. I wonder what this is?" Viole decided to take the flower and ate it, saving it for later. Suddenly, he heard a loud high pitched threatening noise. "Quack!" Viole jumped, ready to strike whatever it was. He looked around, seeing nothing. "Hmm, a master of disguise huh" He scanned the area. ready to strike. "Quack!!" This time he turned, to meet his opponent, a strange looking creature which had green and brown skin. However, each piece of skin was individual. "Your appearance....is strange." He told the duck. The duck merely quacked back of him. Viole was appalled "My appearance is strange?! I should blow you up where you stand!" The duck quacked at him one last time before flapping its wings and flying at him, attempting to claw at his face with its feet. With one swift strike, Viole karate chopped the duck on the floor. The duck was injured and couldn't get up "Haha! You were a formidable opponent, it had been many centuries since someone had successfully snuck up on me. For that, I commend you as an honorable opponent"
From the bushes, many smaller versions of his earlier opponent came running out. They were yellow, unlike the larger version of them. They surrounded the duck, letting out small quacks of sorrow. Viole tilted his head, confused "Why is there sorrow in your cries? You should commend him, for he was a powerful opponent" The ducks continued to let out their cries, attempting to help up their mother. Viole still didn't understand what they were doing, they were shattering the warriors pride. He crouched next to them. One of the baby ducks turned to Viole, now letting out quacks of anger and charging at Viole. It pecked at his toe. "I killed your....mother?" Mother. A foreign word to Viole. What was a mother? Viole held eyes of sorrow, feeling something eating away at his chest from the word. A memory he had lost came back to him suddenly.
Viole was lying on white sand, nothing around him except sand and a tower of black earth. High up in the air, was a drop of light. far out of his reach. He was spacing out, staring up at the light and wondering what world was out there. The voice of a young girl rang thorough out the prison-like lair. "Lessa...Lessa!!" Viole raised his body, coming back to reality. "I'm sorry, I was spacing out" He told the girl. She giggled, placing her back against his and leaning on him "You're always like that Lessa, staring off at that speck of light" Viole let out a soft laugh, looking down. "I'm sorry...its just..." The girl let out a sigh, causing Viole to curiously turn to her "Yeah...I know. You want to go up there...but you can't" Viole looked down at the sand "Whats up there?" The young girl smiled, placing her head on his neck and looking up at the light "Well there's plenty of beautiful trees, flowers, other people, the night sky and oh yes, family!" Viole kept on looking down, only thinking about the last word "...whats a family?" The girl scratched her cheek, trying to think of words to answer his question " Well, a family is a group of people that you care about the most! People who are really close to you, like a brother, sister, father, and mother!" Viole noticed how enthuastic she was about it, but yet he felt nothing from it. "Are we...family?" The young girl giggled "Of course not silly, we aren't related by blood" "Oh..." Silence took over the room, not single noise could be heard. "What's a mother?" Viole asked the girl, curious about what it was. The young girl raised her head off of his neck "Curious as usual huh Lessa" She let out a small giggle as Viole turned to her, with a smile. "Well a mother is a person that gave birth to you, took care of you as a child and the person who probably cares about you the most" "Oh I see" Viole replied, still not entirely sure about the concept. The young girl turned to Viole "Don't you have a mother, Lessa?"
Viole came back to reality, feeling another presence near by. This presence held a high killing intent. He didn't even realize, but he was in a statue like position for a couple of minutes. He looked down, the young duck still pecking at his feet "I will protect what is precious to you...I'll protect your mother" At that moment, a strange looking hollow jumped from the bushed. This hollow was relatively small, but was still fast. However, Viole was faster. He quickly raised his hand, a barrier forming between the hollow and himself along the ducks "Go back to where you came from" The barrier faded, as Viole fired off a red orb. The orb hit the hollow, and engulfed the hollow in flames. Once the fires subsided, not a single trace of the hollow was left. Viole turned to the duck that he injured earlier and walked next to her, crouching next to her. The baby ducks got in a defensive line formation, causing Viole to chuckle "Do not worry, I only seek to right my wrongs." A glowing blue cubic barrier surrounded the mother duck, a glow surrounding her. The baby ducks let out loud, angry quacks. Before they could attack, the barrier had subsided and the injured duck got up. All its injuries were healed, as if it was never injured in the first place. Viole smiled, happy to see all of the baby ducks surrounding it and quacking with joy. The mother duck quacked at Viole "Are you sure, you guys wouldn't mind me joining you?" The duck quacked again. Viole smiled "I'll be delighted to spend a day with you" Viole followed the ducks to their pond, enjoying a day playing with a family of ducks.
