Finally hearing her give an answer, turned out to be the most unexpected squad of them all. Thirteen did have some odd individuals after all, but didn't think it had odd ones like her. Yu's eyes widened when she suddenly stabbed her own palm with her knife which made Yu jump a bit. "H-hey now, just because you didn't cut me is no reason to harm yourself. I'm a lieutenant afterall! I even have Bankai, if youd cut me, then it would be more questionably for me to even be my current rank! Geesh, why do you want to cut me anyway...... Ummm your name if I may ask?"

Shizuka continued to look down at her left palm that had her knife through it, she then slowly pulled the knife out of her hand and watched the blood drip from them both, she then listened to Yu speak and ask her why she wanted to cut him and what her name was. Shizuka spoke in the same tone as always as she continued to look at her hand and knife "It's fun...I like to watch things bleed......And Shizuka...that is my name" Shizuka continued to look at her hand bleed...it had been a long time since she had to wound herself due to her failure...

Kaizo watched Rio as she seemingly changed drastically then he heard her voice within his mind causing his eyes to widen then he felt her hand gently touch his chest and before Kaizo could do anything his mind went blank and when he opened his eyes he was within some odd world, he sat up and looked around and rubbed the back of his head with his right hand "Where am I?" Kaizo then got to his feet as he noticed the large lake infront of him, he walked up to the lake and looked at it noticing it's mirrored surface "What is this place?" Kaizo's eyes then widened when he heard Rio's name being called by two unfamiliar voices however the voices seemingly carried panic which in turn caused Kaizo to panic, noticing the voices coming from the lake confused Kaizo as he looked around panicking "What is going on!?" Kaizo then looked to the lake and grit his teeth "Wherever this is it aint normal!" Kaizo then took a deep breath and went to step into the lake and go deeper to try see why he heard Rio's name being called from the lake

As Kaizo took a deep breath and stepped into the lake, he'd find that under the so called 'water' he'd feel absolutely nothing.... No wetness, more an airy feeling, as if he stepped off of the edge of a cliff of some sort. However, before he was able to see the dark abyss below, he'd feel someone roughly grab him by his right shoulder and pull him out of the lake before throwing him back, aiming to throw him into one of the many thick trees surrounding the area behind him.

Upon looking at the culprit, Kaizo would find a woman that looked identical to Rio, the only differences being that both of her eyes were normal and held a red glint, as well as where Rio would have hair-bands, she didn't, letting her short hair rest on top of her long hair. "Don't you dare!" She spoke fiercely, her voice also identical to Rio's, or more the 'bad' Rio he had been facing. She glared at Kaizo with hatred, both hands balled into fists. "You're in my world now! I don't know how you were able to come in here, no doubt that thief had something to do with it... Either way, this is as far as you'll go." The woman took a few steps towards Kaizo before Rio's soft voice echoed throughout the area.

"Kaizo... come to me... Kaizo..." Hearing this, the woman stopped, looking towards the lake with a death glare as more screams of Rio's name left the lake. Looking back at Kaizo with a grunt, the woman released all of her crystal tails, pointing them at Kaizo. Her face then settled into a straight one, eyes darkening with an eerie aura.

"Kaizo... I won't last... much longer.... come to me...." Rio's soft voice echoed again, sounding weak and this time making the woman smirk. "Sounds like my plan is almost complete... I will regain my body, even if it's the last thing I do. Just a little more time..." The woman continued to smirk before Rio's voice echoed once more.

"Kaizo... don't hurt her.... don't hurt Huerona...." The woman chuckled a little at this. "Are those your last words? Foolish woman. None the less, you're right. Don't know if you've noticed, but every time you've hurt me, you've hurt Rio. Kill me, or even beat me within an inch of my life and Rio will die. She's weaker than me, even more so now due to what's happening to her. Hehe, either way, you won't win Kaizo! Rio will die and there is nothing you can do about it~" Huerona continued to chuckle as she stood her ground with the tips of all five tails pointing at Kaizo. She didn't move, not needing to since she believe that she had already won. Rio's body was definitely hers for the taking now.

Hana and Kan heard Huerona's and Kaizo's voices, feeling when the both of them entered Rio's inner world. Both spirits began glaring and fell quiet. "Fuck... Kan... We can't let Huerona do this.... Any plans?" Hana turned to Kan while the latter grit her teeth. "I honestly... don't know what to do Hana.... Dammit!" Smashing a fist frustratedly into the ledge, Kan looked down and noticed that she was only able to see Rio's head and shoulders now... the rest of her body swallowed by the darkness but despite this, Rio still smiled... "... What can we do?...." Kan asked in anguish.

Hana thought for a short moment before speaking. "If we go down there, we'd be swallowed.... But Kaizo's here, he'd be able to cut the web that's captured Rio.... She isn't gone yet since we can still hear her voice... but... Huerona's here.... Kaizo has got to get past her and get in here...." Hana gripped the edge of the ledge. "But Huerona won't let him do so, atleast not easily.... This is going to be close... All we can do is leave it up to him... Unless" Kan replied before slowly standing up, her eyes on Rio the whole time. Hana looked up at Kan a little confused. "Unless what?" Kan looked back at Hana's puzzled expression with a straight one of her own. "Unless we buy him some time and go down there. We've been Rio's and Huerona's Zanpakuto from the start... and honestly, I'm not ready to leave yet, not like this." Kan looked back down at Rio, watching as the black web continued to slowly move around her. "Besides, I'd much rather do as much as I can than leave her fate in the hands of someone else. I refuse to let our wielder down, she'd do the same for us, we know that. Not once has she left us behind or treated us as just a weapon." Hana began standing up after listening to Kan, a small smile stretching across her face. "You know, you're right as always~ I hate sitting around and waiting anyway! Let's go Kan!" Kan smiled at Hana's serious face before letting it drop into a serious one of her own. The two then crouched before jumping off of the ledge, landing on top of the web as it immediately stuck to both of their feet.

The two of them instantly grabbed Rio's shoulders and began pulling, even as the web began slowly moving up both of their legs. "... What are you two doing.... escape this... quickly... leave..." Rio uttered weakly but both spirits only continued to pull before Kan was given an idea. Bending down, she started to rip the webbing off of Rio's and her own body. "Shut. Up." Kan growled. "If you won't help yourself then we'll do it for you!" Hana responded while still trying to pull Rio. The latter silently looked at the two and watched without another word as they both hurried to try and release her.

The instant Zheng began to speak his command, Mukei turned his head at the monitor to his right. His eyes widened for a while before they lowered slowly and a grin formed "How interesting" He turned to Zheng, his grin hidden behind his masked. He walked up to Zheng, lifting something off a stand with a tube attached to it "Now I'll have to knock you out Zheng. If you're awake for this part, you'll be thrashing about and I wouldn't want to buckle you down...that was a joke" He said to a chuckle to himself "Anyways, just breathe and count back from 100. I'll take care of the rest" He said as he moved the mask over Zheng's nose and mouth. He waited until Zheng was knocked out, before turning to Kamon. "Get the scapels, the real fun begins" He said, removing the mask and the grin still there. His pupils dilated and his eyes shook, as if he had gone mad "This is almost too perfect. To think I'd be able to jump years of research thanks to him. Look at me, my hands are shaking with excitement" He looked down at his shaking hands, feeling a strange euphoria around his body. "Sir" Kamon's voice brought Mukei back to reality, his eyes returning back to normal and the shaking stopping. He turned to Mukei, his expression calm "Lets get this started Kamon. Play it" Kamon put a needle of an old record player down on a black record. He flipped the switch, a normally uplifting song playing. But today, it was the exact opposite. Mukei walked over behind Zheng, pulling out a strange helmet with various wires attached to it. "Couldn't let him see this" He chuckled, placing it on Zheng's head and flipping a switch. The wires connected to various computers and large vials of blue liquid, its color now changing. He then pulled a stand with multiple glowing liquids handing on it. From each bag was a tube that went down and eventually formed a needle. Mukei stabbed them into Zhengs body in multiple areas. All of this was out of Zheng's views for obvious reasons. He whisteled along with the tune that played, picking up a scapel from the tray Kamon had "Oooohhh~ Happy days,such happy days" He stopped infront of Zheng and began to cut open his body along his chest with the scapel "Ohhh, such a happy dayyy" He said as he cut away, each one bringing absolute delight. He was moving with the music, his eyes dilating and his mind gone. It was as if his body and mind were being controlled by the song.When Zheng would wake up, he would he in an all white room with just the table he was lying down on and Mukei sitting on a chair with his head leaned back and looking up. Kamon would also be within the room beside him.

His eyes fluttered opened and his stomach felt like it was force fed led and then punched in the stomach repeatedly. Just what the hell did Mukei give him to sedate him?..Hell when he was out cold? He sat up, his arms keeping him supported and then pain shocked through him. He grunted and looked back at his friend with a forced smile. "Got everything you needed or do you need to fuck me up more?" His eyes found that his chest had a large stitch across it, keeping the surgical would sealed. He could've sworn when he was asleep that he had heard piano music, but that may had been just apart of his dream. It was an odd one. There was a mad man who was attacking the Soul Society and he found himself with his hand through the man's chest, destroying his heart. It made him shudder. It felt ominous to have that dream, as if it was a premonition.

As Kaizo went to go into the lake he felt nothing beneath it's surface, however before he could get lower he was pulled out and thrown back Kaizo flipped through the air then landed on the floor skidding back as he looked at the Rio infront of him "You just wont get out my way will you? got to admit it's starting to get annoying" Kaizo's eyes then widened when he heard Rio's voice his eyes then narrowed when he heard her name "So you're Huerona huh? Finally glad I get to put a name to you...Well I don't have time to waste with you so I'm not going to" Kaizo reached into his uniform with his right hand then he quickly pulled it out as he then threw smoke bombs towards Rio, the smoke bombs would explode around her clouding up the area then she'd see a bright yellow flash as 6 rods of yellow light closed in on her from all directions, from above her would then come down a thick yellow rope of light that'd then wrap around her "Bakudo 61, Rikujōkōrō. Bakudo 63, Sajō Sabaku." As Kaizo said this the Bakudo's would increase in strength and would further subdue her. The smoke around her would then begin to settle and Kaizo could be seen walking towards her however a hand would then appear infront of her face while Kaizo was still seen walking towards her, if she followed the hand to who it was she'd see Kaizo as his hand then began to emit a white light that'd disorientate her before she lost conciousness "Tanma otoshi..." Kaizo was still standing before her with his hand held to her face however the actual Kaizo was stood at the edge of the lake looking back over his right shoulder "That's a skill Kurisa Kuchiki taught me...it was a skill he left to me..." Kaizo would then enter the lake, not wasting anytime.

"We all have our reasons...stupid or not..." Shizuka knew no one would really understand her, no one ever had, that's just how she lived her life and she grew to prefer it this way. "Can we kill them?" Shizuka said looking back up at Yu, she didn't really care for the damage she had done to her hand, she'd still be able to fight regardless...if anything it'd make fighting more interesting, at least to her...she didn't exactly want to go to Squad 4 to get her hand healed, that'd just be annoying and postpone her being able to see someone elses blood...

Her eyes widened a touch as yellow rods came out of nowhere and slammed into her stomach from all directions, something she had never experienced before. Looking down in confusion, Huerona eyed the rods and tried to pull them off of her using all of her tails and hands before a thick yellow rope wrapped around her body and tails. "What the hell." She murmured as she struggled to break the restraints. Kaizo then spoke, strengthening the technique. "Ughhh!" Huerona grit her teeth before looking up at Kaizo as he began moving again, however an abrupt hand in her face that emitted a white aura drew her attention before she blacked out, her thoughts and consciousness leaving her body causing her to fall.

"Un-.... uh...." Rio's eyes widened for a moment as something white flashed in her vision before she lost consciousness, allowing her body to visible go limp. Both Hana's and Kan's eyed widened at this, unsure of what made Rio suddenly pass out... It must of been the webbing, it could of been draining her strength... "RIO! WAKE UP!" Hana yelled exasperatedly as Kan began tearing the webbing off of Rio faster. She soon noticed just how much of it had caught Hana. "Hana, I'll pull Rio, tear that webbing off of you!" She ordered, grabbing Rio's free upper right arm. Hana looked down at herself before nodding and getting to work. "When I'm done, you do the same and I'll keeping pulling Okay?" Kan nodded back, noticing just how much Rio had been caught in this stuff... "Dammit... Huerona..." Kan murmured, gritting her teeth as she pulled as hard as she could.

Once Kaizo stepped into the lake, he'd find himself immediately falling into darkness. After a short while of just falling, he'd land onto a floor however it was too dark to see what kind of material it was but none-the-less it felt stable. If he'd follow the sounds of the women's voices, he'd soon find himself at the edge of the flooring, able to peek over it to find Rio with two woman either side of her. All of them had thick, black, web-like stings attached to them, slowly climbing up their body's.

Mukei was staring at the white roof, lost in his thoughts and listening to the ringing noise of the lights. When Zheng spoke, Mukei broke himself out of the trance. He looked down at Zheng who was forcing a smile. There were bags under his eyes and his pupils were rather blank. Mukei chuckled at what he said "If You want, we can always continue. I was just going easy right now" He said with a smirk as he stood up "But it's fine, I've gotten everything I needed. And don't worry about that scar, it'll fade away soon enough. But besides that, how are you feeling?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

It seemed like that the experiment went on for a very long time. Mukei seemed very tired from messing around with Zheng's body. The bangles had finally formed back around his wrists and he let his feet touch the ground, slowly getting back up with his hand on the table for support. "I'm feeling fine. I could use a break, but I've been through worse." He moved his entire body and it seemed that every bone in his body cracked loudly. "I hope that the data you received helped you with whatever you're doing. After all it would be a waste if it didn't." He found his shirt neatly folded and placed it back on.

Grabbing Hana's hand with her left after leaning Rio's head against her right shoulder while securely holding her body with her right arm, Kan looked to Kaizo. "Quickly shunpo us to the surface, then we'll talk." She looked at Kaizo seriously, waiting for him to make the move. Hana was instead occupied with Rio as she looked at the woman's body with a saddened expression, hoping she was Okay.

All Kaizo knew was this place wasn't normal...he couldn't tell if this was some sort of effect of Rio's crystal eye or if this was something else...who were these women anyway? all he knew is that they wanted to save Rio so they must have been good

Kan nodded as Kaizo grabbed hold of both woman, shunpo'ing them to the surface seconds before the webbing attempted to grab them again.

Once at the top, Kan let go of Hana's hand as the latter wiped her forehead. "Phew, and here I thought we'd never get out of there... wait" Looking over at Kaizo, Hana leaned closer to him and looked down at him. Both women where about 2 inches taller than Kaizo which was now visibly seen since they weren't in darkness anymore. "How the hell did you get in here anyway?... You do know where you are right?" She asked with a confused expression. Kan instead only looked down at the woman she was holding in wonder before looking up... Her eyes widened for a second as she spotted Huerona's body lying on the floor, also seemingly knocked out. Looking down once more, Kan pursed her lips. "So that's why Rio lost conciousness... hmm.." Kan uttered to herself quietly.

It seemed like that the experiment went on for a very long time. Mukei seemed very tired from messing around with Zheng's body. The bangles had finally formed back around his wrists and he let his feet touch the ground, slowly getting back up with his hand on the table for support. "I'm feeling fine. "I hope that the data you received helped you with whatever you're doing. After all it would be a waste if it didn't." He found his shirt neatly folded and placed it back on.

But thanks to you, my research has jumped decades" He said, patting Zheng on the back forgetting about how sore he was "I'll treat you out to dinner some day for thanks and make some upgrades to Kamon if you'd like. For now, you should get some rest"

Tabo watched as Haruka dodged the pink energy points, using a mixture of her footwork and shunpo to do so. Her timing was well, something that was good. He continued to watch her dodge, and as soon as she got the chance shot a Konogobaku towards him. "Need to be quicker," Tabo told her as he pointed his cane forward and shot out a Hyōga Seiran. The Hyōga Seiran froze over the Konogobaku yet continued rushing Haruka. Now she had to worry about the explosion radius of the Senjū Kōten Taihō and the ice rushing towards her from the Hyōga Seiran. The main reason that he used Hyōga Seiran was because he knew that it could shield her from the Senjū Kōten Taihō explosion, and he wanted to see if she would take that chance.

Let it never be said that Haruka always thought things through. She had a penchant of being a little reluctant to act, to think through her moves and react. Initiative was a word she disliked. It was a word associated with leadership, with responsibilities, both of which she had much need for outside of clan politics. She didn't want a Captaincy, didn't want the weight of dead squad members on her shoulders.

This...was one of those times where the difference between life and death was that very issue. Does she take the initiative and try to out run the blast? Or does she use the ice as a bunker? Three seconds to decide.

No time, a decision was needed now. And she did what she was best at: Reacted. She flash stepped towards the ice, just as the explosion well...exploded. She covered her ears to protect them from the shockwave as well as crouched to make her profile smaller while keeping a firm base.

Clever girl, Tabo thought with a smirk as he watched Haruka flash step towards the ice and use it as a bunker. The explosion destroyed most of the ice and sent many pieces flying through the air, but nonetheless kept Haruka from harm. Before he gave her a chance to recover Tabo shunpo'ed in front of her and pointed a finger at her shoulder, "Hadō #4, Byakurai," he said as he kept his smirk up. The lightning charging up on his fingertip before shooting to pierce her. I've given you enough time to escape, so will you? Or will you take the shot in order to get one off on me? Tabo thought.
