Squad 3's MissionThe boy seemed to ignore Hikari's entire speech, simply continuing to put pressure on Hikari's block until simply jumping back. He glared at them for a moment before throwing the sword, making it spin as it was thrown. It flew towards Chie, who had been making a suggestion about how to capture him. Whether it hit or not, he disappeared, reappearing behind where she had been and catching the sword. If she was still there, he would swing it towards her, if not, he would charge towards the group, swinging the sword at the closest one he could find. (Guys, he's not a normal boy, his spiritual energy is slowly rising, at this point, you'll probably notice it's actually just a bit lower than Hikari's)

Chie watched the boy jump away from Hikari as all of them were given a glare, when suddenly the boy threw his sword at her, which she sidestepped, only to find him behind her with sword in hand swinging it towards her, she got her sword out and blocked the shot before glaring at the boy. "And here I was being nice, well fuck that. Strike them down, Suu~ifutosunēku!" Her sword changed its form with the blade then lighting on fire. She pushed the kid away before swinging the sword down send an arc of fire at the kid.

Giovanni nodded in understanding. North 67. so far away from the seireitei they probably had more than just a few hollows. the farther away the districts were the more impoverished and violent they tended to be. While the hollows would serve a problem of their own chances were so would the residence. The didnt get the same attention out there from the shinigami and grew spiteful of them. there was also the issue of overcrowding. Simple mission was far from the truth but a mission was a mission. Perhaps he would keep an eye out for any residents with spiritual pressure enough to be come a shinigami, while he was out there.

Gio departed from the head captains office calmly, thinking of how he wanted to go about it. The hollows would be simple enough but he wanted to minimize civilian casualties so he had to be careful where he aimed his kido. he glanced back at Shusuke "hope you dont have any personal items on you. The residence are just as rough a the hollows that far out. thats what they say anyway" Giovanni made his way toward the Northern Gate

"Well since we're on a real mission, I guess I don't need the sake." he said with a chuckle while setting it on a near by table as he followed Giovanni. "I don't have anything of value other than my zanpakuto." Shusuke added. He walked beside Gio towards the northern gate, this mission was kind of a far out one but this is what Shusuke lived for now, a soul reapers duties may lead him anywhere and he just had to suck it up. "So since it'll take us a bit to reach our destination, should we plan out our approach?" he asked, curious what Gio's thoughts would be for a strategy.

"thats a good idea. " Giovanni agreed, " We should probably Lure them out. I'm very good at Kido, especially with my Shikai activated. but im not all that great in cloer ranged combat. i can hold my own with a sword of course, im just not spectacular. how about you what your strengths and help-point" he asked. Knowing what Shusuke was good at and telling him what he himself was good and bad at would make sure they watched out for each other effectively....or stayed out of each others way,depending on the circumstances.

Shusuke was pleased that his proposal was a popular idea. "Well, I feel as if my strength is close combat, coupled with speed and Shunpo of course." he noted. "I can perform kido adequately but it's not my strong suit." he added. "So we have close and distant covered nicely, what about your zanpakuto, does it possess anything I need to avoid?" he asked, hoping he wouldn't have anything crazy like explosive chain reactions or anything.

Gio shook his head "no its a kido type... i think. I cant draw it unless i activate my shikai anyway makes kido easier pretty much." he explained. Sorareo had hinted to him something a while ago that made him feel like he hadn't fully unlocked the powers of his shikai but for now he had to make due. "This would be perfect if i could heal with Kaido but i cant" he took a second to think. "we can lay a trap, take out as many as we can and then engage them. I dont think its a good idea if we get too separated so how about we stick together? how does that sound?" He spoke as if it was purely a suggestion, which infact it was. the floor was open to ideas at this point while they still had time to make plans.

Jinzo watched silently as a man jumped down from the wall surrounding the Seireitei, spoke to the Shinigami who was to lead him to the Head Captain and then opened the gate single-handedly. He was rather impressed by it all and it allowed him to quickly forget about the restraints placed around his wrists. Not that they hurt, however, it was just the feeling of being cuffed that made him feel more uncomfortable than most. As he willingly followed the soul reaper who'd found him, he soon noticed that a crowd of other Shinigami had come to witness the commotion. He remained calm under their scrutinizing gaze and walked on, looking straight ahead but still managing the odd glance left and right at the various different sights.It was more relaxed than he'd expected it to be. Okay, yes, he was being brought in whilst being restrained, but that wasn't the point. He expected it to be busier, people rushing around, attempting to complete their daily chores. Lieutenants ordering their lower seats around left and right, raised voices, high amounts of chatter. Instead there were barely any reapers, compared to the stories of old. And the talking was kept to a low hush, though he suspect that his entrance was mostly to blame for that. It was only then that it suddenly dawned on him just how small the number of Shinigami there were.

The Squad 1 Shinigami brought the Soul he found outside the gates to the Squad 1 barracks and after a maze like field only to end up in a large hallway they came to the doors of the Head Captains office. The Shinigami knocked on the door and asked if he may enter and once granted access he opened the doors then walked in escorting the Soul alongside him, he then stood in the middle of the room facing towards the Head Captains desk then got down on one knee, placed his left forearm across his stomach, then placed his fist on the ground and bowed his head before speaking "Head Captain. I apologize for disturbing you however I could think of no better man to bring this Soul to than yourself. This Soul here wishes to join the Gotei 13 but they did not follow the traditional methods of trying to enter the Shino Academy...I brought him to you thinking you would know what to do better than I in this situation...as you can see I took precautions...however the Soul seems as if he can be trusted...but that is something I truly would rather have you decide Head Captain" The Shinigami remained in the position he first entered as he awaited the Head Captains response " I see...well then let me handle this...you are dismissed... The Shinigami looked up to the Head Captain then bowed his head once more "Thank you Head Captain" The Shinigami then stood up and left the office leaving only the Soul and The Head Captain,

The Head Captain stood up from his desk then walked around it and towards the Soul then he extended his right hand to the Kido cuffs and dispelled them " So let me get this right...you want to just jump straight into the deep end? No Shino Academy just straight to the point?...I may be able to make an allowance but first I must know some things. One. Is that sword you carry with you a Zanpakuto or just a plain sword? Two. Do you think you have more power than the average Shino Academy student? and Three. Assuming you know about the Gotei 13...which Squad is it that you want to join?" The questions The Head Captain asked were really pretty simple...he didn't ask background questions or anything of the kind as most people that joined the Gotei had some shady sort of background...at the end of the day the original Gotei 13 were no more than Criminals and they were considered the strongest generation...

"I like that a lot, I was going to suggest the same thing in fact. This far out, getting separated could be our undoing." he noted, trying not to sound too cryptic. "What kind of trap could we lay, did you bring bait or something?" he asked, curious how just two soul reapers could lay any kind of trap for a possible hoard of hollows. All Shusuke could do was hack and slash, as far as being effective for the mission goes, he was unsure if his shikai ability would even work on hollows as he never attempted it.

"hollows are Attracted to spiritual energy. so it shouldnt be to hard to lure them. If i have enough time i can make a Net out of kido, and hide it from sight with another Kido. that way we can pick them off from there. but I won't be able to hold a lot of them that way. as for bait. It will probably just be me making the net. " Gio explained. it wasnt the greatest plan but it seemed to be solid enough to work. "after that its all a matter of surviving. but if we are lucky that shouldn't be to hard as long as we pace ourselves." He had to make sure he didnt go overboard on kido. running out of energy was just as bad as being seriously wounded. It hinders the bodies ability to move so he would be a sitting duck. He made a mental note to use his sword more. and kido a bit less.

"I guess that'll have to work, I haven't really mastered the art of raising my spiritual pressure for attracting hollows. I think the net could work though, they'd be vulnerable to my blade once unable to move. That would make dispatching them very simple, it's the others that worry me." he said, pondering what they'd do once the net idea had ran it's course. "They'll eventually avoid the net or possibly break through it so we'll have to play on each other's strengths from there. Sound good?" he finished, seeing that their brisk walk had afforded them some major distance.

Only thing Ryuu could think of is using a soul as bait to lure it to where they need it to be and then send the soul off then fight the hollow...it was a rather cruel plan but it'd work...after all this hollow was here to consume souls so why not tease it with what it wanted..."Souls...use them as bait..." This wouldn't exactly explain his plan well but he was sure Ayashi would understand what he meant

Ryuu listened as Ayashi spoke then he stopped and looked off to his right seeing a rather abandoned part of town...it was kinda of close to the main town but it looked abandoned and ruined so it had to be an alright place to fight a hollow...plus it was closer to the town meaning the Soul wouldn't have to go as far "There...no humans..." Leading a hollow all the way out into a forest would be difficult so they had to keep it kind of close but out of the way of humans...plus if these buildings got damaged it wasn't such an issue, people would think they had just got knocked down, vandalized and so on...meaning this would be almost the perfect place..."I leave the soul to you..." Ryuu shunpoed off over to the abandoned part of town and began looking around for the right area, Ayashi would be able to find him due to his Spiritual energy so things should go to plan...then again this hollow was far from normal...

The soul looked confused by this as Ryuu placed his right hand on the Souls left shoulder then the souls energy suddenly spiked as he removed his hand "We wait..." the soul now gained an even more confused look as Ryuu unsheathed his Zanpakuto making the soul gulp "Hold still..." Ryuu held the hilt of his Zanpakuto to the Souls head or more a few Centimeters away from his head...he waited patiently until he felt the presence of a hollow coming and sure enough upon one of the roofs stood a hollow with smoke pouring from it's skin as fire occasionally burst out, Ryuu then placed the hilt of his Zanpakuto against the souls head sending it away to the Soul society, The hollow cursed the Ryuu and Ayashi and being one that could talk showed how different it was " You rotten Shinigami bastards! luring me in like this! Well it aint gonna work!" the hollow then turned and leaped off as Ryuu disappeared from where he was standing then the hollow flew down and crashed into a nearby roof, flipping off it and flying through another building "Cowards run..." The hollow then burst fire out from it's body as blew down a wall then fired a Cero at Ryuu before turning to Ayashi and swinging it's burning arm at her, aiming to basically close-line her with it and as it got closer the flames grew more vicious

After the attack, the Hollow appeared to be hurt, though it obviously wasn't affected. Aokiji thought as he stared into the Hollow's flaming eyes, though the second second it was in front of him. As the Hollow attempted to strike him, Aokiji blocked with his arms, though the Hollow didn't strike and jumped above Kaizo to fire a cero. Kaizo formed a dome with his Spirit Energy, which he thought was to counter the cero. He jumped back so he didn't get caught in the blast radius, blocking his eyes from the dust. When it cleared he saw that Kaizo was ok, but looked around for the Hollow. He wasn't going to wait around for another attack, so he shunpo'ed onto a branch, it gave him a better sense. He gripped his Zanpakuto and glanced at the two by the rock, the Hollow needed to be stalled just a bit longer, though Aokiji wanted to kill the bastard.

The blast caused the hollow to go flying in the air, the winds causing a small dust cloud. The hollow flipped, landing on the ground between them. It was furious, its eyes flames glowing more intensely. It smashed the ground a few times sending sand flying everywhere. It was unable to understand why they weren't dead yet. It quickly lifted its head, looking in the direction of Aokiji. It fired off a barrage of flame balls at him, each one moving with great speeds. It then turned to Kaizo and ran at him, a dust cloud forming due to its speed. It sonidoed in front of him and attempting to pierce his heart with its finger tips.

She sent one flying off towards the Hollow's mask.

As the dust settled Kaizo saw the Hollow send off many orbs at Aokiji then the Hollow turned and flew at him, Kaizo looked at the Hollow dead it's eyes then spoke "I see...nothing more than an animal..." The Hollow then sonido'd infront of Kaizo as it's hand pierced into Kaizo's chest causing his head to fall back a bit then drop forward and hang there but there was no sign of blood at all then an orange Kido rope fired at both of them and aimed to wrap around them and tie them together but on a closer look it'd appear to be Kaizo who fired the Bakudo known as Horin and looking at the Kaizo who was caught by the attack would be noted that it began to glow yellow as the caught Kaizo lifted his head and grinned at the hollow before exploding violently with the real Kaizo shunpoing back to safe distance and raising his left forearm just above his eyes to stop the dust going into them "Hm..."

As the cero closed in on Ryuu he simply cut at it with his Zanpakuto, batting it away. He then went to fire a Hado at the hollow but due to it being caught and about to get hit further it's body shun brightly blinding everyone that could see it then it planned to smash a fist into Ayashi and send her flying then it planned to get behind Ryuu and fire a cero at him whilst he couldn't see, sure they still had their senses but most fights were fought with vision,,,taking away the vision momentarily and the person almost fells helpless for a few seconds...

"the net wont last long. or rather it wont hold up for very long. Its supposed to work as a catalyst for other spells but I havent gotten that far in my training yet so it just holds." Gio added for the sake of full disclosure "so after the net it will be as you say. playing off each others strengths. you watch my back i'll watch your's" They had no idea what kind of numbers they were about to face. Hopefully the net would allow them to take out at least half the numbers. "maybe we should have a plan B just in case"

As the fireballs shot at him Aokiji just blinked, it was too easy with this one. He stayed focused on one spot and shunpo'ed to it, and shunpo'ed again when he was in the barrage of balls. He got out of there with only a small burn on his clothing, nothing too big. Hearing an Expllosion, he quickly turned around to see dust fly then clear. The Hollow looked.....Very bad, and stood there for a few seconds, as if stunned. It was a small enough chance for him, sealing his Zanpakuto he was suddenly to the left of the Hollow and punched him. As he was punched an expllosion shot off sending the Hollow flying to the right, Shunpo'ing to the right of the Hollow while he was still flying, Aokiji punched his chin with another expllosion causing him to fly into the air. He shunpo'ed once more with his fist colliding into the Hollow's face with an expllosion sending him flying towards the ground, before he hit the ground Aokiji appeared below him with his knee smashing up causing the Hollow to fall hard on his knee with a crunching sound echoing throughout the dead area. The body hung on his knee, as if the supporting bones in his torso caused him to go limp. Though Aokiji wasn't done, with his fist clasped together high in the air they both slammed down on the Hollow's torso with a large expllosion which made the body look even more limp than it did before however that was possible. "Sack of shit was strong, probably still isn't dead!" Aokiji said, finally a bit of emotion in his voice, sounded like anger or frustration. He held the Hollow by the head, letting the body dangle. He threw the Hollow towards Kaizo, just in case he wanted a last hit, or wanted to beat it's skull in. He turned around and pulled his mask down, pulling in a couple deep breaths before putting his mask back on and turning around. He used a bit more energy in that than he thought he would, it was satisfying though. If that was the beast the Captain talked about, then it was easier than he thought, but if it wasn't and they came across what they were warned about....And tried to fight it, Aokiji might have felt worry the first time in years.
