“Feels good to finally relax,” Hikari said as he walked into his room stretching an arm, he didn’t close his door as he simply fell on his bed falling asleep immediately. He let his muscles relax as he dreamt of decent sized breast women, the best dream a man could have…..The best dream this man could have atleast. Upon waking up he noticed a letter in the middle of his doorway, standing up he walked over to it and picked it up. It was addressed to him; he looked up and down the hallway to see if anyone was there before opening the letter and reading it.
Dear, Hikari…
I know we haven’t spoke in a long time, with me leaving to be an assassin and all. But since that incident with the clan, I didn’t really know what to think. I ran into Satomaru a while ago and he told me you and Kenta joined the Gotei 13! Which is great, he also told me that you planned on finding the other members of our clan like him! So, here I am atleast!
I know it may be silly to ask, but would you meet me? In…Our place? Thanks.
Love, Kaguya~Hikari stumbled back a bit, breath taken away from him as the memories of his old love came flooding back into his mind. Cheeks becoming pink, he walked to his desk and hunched over it placing the letter down. He gave a small smile and chuckle as he read it again.
That place….Our place….Our first, he thought as he quickly grabbed his Zanpakuto and headed out. He left the Seireitei and went to his Clan grounds; he then headed into a diverged path in the forest until he came upon a place with a small pond. Similar to Kenta’s, but Kenta’s was better he thought. Still, the place held memories.
Sitting down in a more open area of the forest was a girl, green hair and blue eyes, watching Hikari. She smiled and stood up as they made their way to each other, immediately they hugged each other. Hikari with arms around her waist, he pulled her closer, the next moment they kissed. The warm sensation of their lips pressing together was the best feeling Hikari had felt in years, “I missed you,” Hikari whispered.
“Wish I could say the same,” Kaguya whispered back.
“Wait, what?” Hikari asked as he felt something sharp pressed against his torso, before he could do anything Kaguya quickly whispered in his ear, “Stretch, Kōri no ō,” which caused three spikes to pierce through Hikari’s torso. Blood shot out of his mouth. He stared forward in horror, shaking, shocked, demoralized…”Why?” he whispered.
Kaguya chuckled, “Hikari you were always such a fool when it came to love, I knew it’d be easy to get you with love but not
this easy,” she laughed throwing her head back, “Anymore words before I rip this Zanpakuto out your torso and cut your next?”
“Yeah,” Hikari said, “Never reveal your battle plans to the opponent.”
And with that Hikari grabbed the ice cold trident and ripped it out of himself, raising his energy he jumped back unsheathing his Zanpakuto. Kaguya held the trident over her shoulders staring dead cold at Hikari, silence surrounded them, the only noise being the blood dripping off one end of her trident.
“Did Satomaru put you up to this?” Hikari asked as he wiped the blood from his mouth, “No, he wouldn’t do that. So why? Why would you do this?...And how’d you know where I was?”
“I told you, Satomaru told me where you were,” she said as she held her smirk.
“And where is he?” Hikari asked as his eyes widened, “WHERE IS HE!?”
“Oh, him….Well he’s dead now, had fun making that one scream. I hope you’re stronger than him,” Kaguya said with a laugh which made Hikari grip his Zanpakuto tighter.
Kaguya shot towards Hikari and swung her Zanpakuto, three icicles shot out towards Hikari who simply cut them in half, he didn’t expect what happened next. Icicles shot out the ground and rammed into Hikari which sent him flying through a couple trees. Rolling, Hikari pierced his nails into the ground to stop him from going any further. It took a couple seconds to stop, but he did with a bit of dirt under his nails.
Standing up slowly, his hair now messy and falling over his eyes, he didn’t need eyes to block the attack from above. Raising his sword above his head, Kaguya’s double sided trident slammed onto his blade. She then did a back flip landing in front of him and raised her trident with the three blades cutting up his shoulder causing him to stumble back, “You hesitate,” Kaguya said as she pierced his body twice with his trident in the other shoulder, “Still trying to savor the memories of us? They’re over you puppy!” she yelled angrily as she tried piercing him again. Hikari smacked her trident up, but she twirled her Shikai and cut his arm causing him to wince a bit.
I can handle it, he thought as he brought his sword down again cutting her shoulder. Raising his energy, he transferred it into his sword and pierced her shoulder realizing it causing expllosion. It caused both of them to shoot back in which Hikari struck his sword into the ground to stop him. Shunpo’ing above Kaguya, he transferred Spirit Energy into his palm and flew down towards Kaguya; another expllosion went off as he his palm hit the ground. Quickly turning around and looking up Kaguya pierced his chest with her trident causing him to fall and stay trapped on the ground. Blood shot out of his mouth as he lay limp with hair over his eyes. Thunder cracked and rain began falling.
“Looks like Satomaru was stronger after all,” Kaguya said as she ripped her trident out of his chest and began walking away, “This clan is a disgrace!”
Waking up, Hikari slowly sat up looking around.
“My wounds are…Healed? How long have I been out?” Hikari asked as he began regaining his vision.
“A few minutes, five minutes exactly,” Ken said as he stood with his back to Hikari.
“I was….Fighting Kaguya right? She beat me,” Hikari said as he slowly stood up, “I guess I’m still lying in the dirt, bloody and wet.”
“No, you won,” Ken said simply.
“…How!?” Hikari asked, “How, if I’ve been laid out and just ended up here!?
“Him,” Ken said turning around, nodding towards someone behind Hikari. Hikari turned around, confused at who the person was, “Who are you?” Hikari asked as the person smirked.
Standing up, a large amount of Spirit Energy shot from Hikari causing Kaguya to turn towards him smirking. Hikari was hunched over, hair over his face. “Oh, you’re getting back up?” Kaguya asked with the same smirk, though it slowly disappeared as Hikari raised his head revealing a Hollow mask which screamed at her.
“Hikari….Yo-“Before Kaguya could speak anymore, Hollow Hikari shot towards her and attacked. Blocking, his attack was way stronger than Normal Hikari’s attack and caused her to almost drop to her knees. Instead she gave a bend to her knees to keep her strength in her foot, though Hollow Hikari kept pressing on causing a small crater and then the strength caused her to fall. Hollow Hikari raised his sword again though Kaguya slammed her Shikai into the ground causing a pillar of icicles to shoot out of the ground and slam into Hollow Hikari’s gut sending him five feet away, though he just shot back towards Kaguya who sent her Trident into the wounds in his Torso and lifted him into the air. It seemed as if Hollow Hikari didn’t care as he swung at her causing her to move her head back, Hollow Hikari then opened his mouth charging a cero that shot right into Kaguya’s face and sent her flying. Hollow Hikari dropped to his feet and started walking towards Kaguya with the trident still in his wounds. Kaguya began shaking and backing up, a huge hole in her shoulders bleeding with her face bloody looking almost blown off.
“Hikari, this isn’t you,” she said as tears began falling down her face.
Hollow Hikari grabbed the trident and ripped it out of him, throwing it at Kaguya in which it hit her and bounced off of her. He kicked her down and sat on her stomach and began beating her with his left fist and the butt of his sword.
“Who are you?” Hikari asked as the person smirked.
The figure looked similar to Hikari, though just white and with longer hair. His eyes black and white, Hikari found it a bit weird and backed up.
“I’m the one that beat up ‘dat pretty bitch out there,” The figure said then laughed, “Well, ‘least she used ta be pretty….’Da fuck.”
“What’d you do to her!?” Hikari yelled as he clenched his fist.
“Calm down there you fuck!” The hollow said, “I took control of ya body so ‘dat bitch out ‘dere ain’t fuck you up. Or more so….Ain’t fuck me up.”
“Send me back!” Hikari yelled, “I don’t care who you are! I want to go to her!”
The figure began walking away while Ken washed a hand through the air. Hikari closed his eyes and opened them being on the ground. He winced as he sat up, looking beside him was Kaguya curled on the ground shivering and bleeding out. Hikari rolled her over and looked into her eyes, “Kaguya….What happened to Satomaru?”
She swallowed hard, but spat out more blood, “He’s fine….He’s fine.” She said quietly with a slight whimper.
“Why’d you attack me?” Hikari asked.
“Satomaru wanted me to test your strength, the rest wanted me to test your strength,” Kaguya said crying, “It was all a test Hikari! I’m sorry!”
Hikari eyes softened as he sighed, her face was indescribable, more horrible than could be imagined. Hikari’s fault for that happening, and the thing was that he didn’t know if it were the truth or not. He’d have to talk to Satomaru, see he was alive, and then beat the shit out of him if it were true. He was just….Confused, heartbroken but not, most of all just tired. Closing his eyes he sighed again and then opened them to see Kaguya staring up at him.
“Hikari, your father is….”
“My father is what!? Is what Kaguya!?” He yelled, eyes widening.
“….I love you,” was the last words she spoke before becoming completely limp.
Hikari shut her eyes and stood up, the rain washing most of the blood off of him as he began walking off with his sheathed sword. The questions he couldn’t answer. Why’d he and Kaguya fight? Who was the figure? What’d he do and how’d he take control of him? What did she mean by the others? What role did his father play in this? And why’d his Spirit Energy feel different? He wasn’t sure, but the difference of his Spirit Energy was what kept him going for now.
Once he got back to the Seireitei he went straight to Squad four, his Spirit Energy was low so hopefully they couldn’t tell the difference, he didn’t need more questions on top of what they asked. What happened? How’d that happen? He answered a few but left them to their job, healing, not questioning. He then hit the showers and went back to his room in Squad three, leaving the door open as he fell on his bed wincing a little.
Muscles staying tense as he laid there, tears streaming down his face. It took a couple hours before he fell asleep, though upon waking up he stared at the doorway. Remembering how he felt when he read the letter he gave a small smirk before it went away, standing up he grabbed the letter and ripped it up, leaving the remains in his doorway. He’d let someone clean it up, leaving the barracks he decided to take a walk.
Closing his eyes he sighed, not sure if he was up for the future. People he cared about turning on him, he didn’t want to risk that again, but….He didn’t know, for the first time in a while he began doubting himself and his abilities. He hesitated with Kaguya, hesitated to strike her and that almost led to his death. Sighing once more he rubbed his forehead, he didn’t feel like thinking, he didn’t want to feel anything at the moment.
