I don't mean to interrupt your zanpakuto communication discussion, but I've been drifting in and out of this here OOC for the last few days debating on whether I should throw up a CS or not. I've been wanting to create my own Shinigami for a long time, however, I've noticed there are a lot of characters that are quite powerful. I'd like to take a more different approach to my character, and I'm open to any advice any of you can give on this subject. I pretty much want him to start off weak, so weak that he's an actual sorry excuse for a Shinigami. So, again, any advice would be helpful in making sure I don't make him stronger than I want him to start out being.

You are more than welcomed to join ^.^ there's always time to get stronger, but what Zane said is a good idea xD no shikai and you could make him have poor skills in zanjustu
, kido, hakuda and shunpo, but get a mentor to help him out? But there's probably better ideas than mine >_<

Well, no shikai was a given, and I might make him inept at shunpo, hakuda and zanjutsu. I think I'll have kido backfire on him...a lot.

Poor in combat? Where he cant see the enemy movements alll that well?

Hello and welcome Krinos ^_^ I'm one of two Co-Gms. Basically, with the power thing, it does seem like the majority of the characters are like that but not all :P My characters have all started out weak, and the one with power conceals it. Zane's characters aren't extremely powerful either so don't worry, not everyone in this RP is ridiculously powered ^_^ The way I started was to have my main character unable to contact her Zanpakuto so she didn't have a Shikai at first, that'd be a start ^_^ Then you could train your character or even get a Captain to help train you and eventually gain your Shikai. Your Shikai move don't even needed to be all decided at first, you can leave a few slots open to gain moves later on and the Bankai is the last thing to fill out since it'd be a while before it's gained so most people leave that out for a later time or for when inspiration hits :P

Unseated Shinigami aren't necessarily weak, they've had six years of training ya'know? And plus possible background training.....Yeah, they aren't that weak owo

XD Well after Henry and Sango knock boots he'll be more than angry :D And being in Sango's body, he/she'll look so kinky with that poisoned whip XD The release command's gunna be "Mr Stingington! Rise And Breath Contagion! Poison Their Existence!"

Yeah, I think as long as an unseated doesn't have the power to defeat a Gillian (Without good reason) then they're fine power wise. In Bleach characters are supposed to be hella strong, so what does is matttttttttttttttttttttttttttttter?

Well in the beginning of Bleach, which is like where we are now, there wasn't many hella strong people but meh, everyone and their backgrounds XD Everyone wants to play the already powerful one with an advantage xD
