"Give me a sword and point me at your enemies, and I'll fight them. Seven hells, I might even kill them. I might be a bastard, but that doesn't mean I can't fight.
Name: Ser Erwyn Rivers, a landless knight and a master-at-arms of Fairmarket
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Appearance: Ser Erwyn is about six feet tall, broad-shouldered man. He has long and thick arms. His hair is coloured dark brown. He has green eyes, and he would be noted as a handsome man, if he hadn't scars in his face, torso and arms. Erwyn also looks older than his years.
Personality: Ser Erwyn has seen what men can do to each other. He took part in the campaign against the Kingswood Brotherhood as a squire for a knight and fought in the Robert's Rebellion. He has a slightly cynical view on the world, and can be seen both as a sarcastic and an honest man. He is not without a sense of honor. Although he might not show it, he cares for the soldiers and squires who he trains and fights with. He doesn't crave or care for power, but wants to be a warrior to whatever end.
Pros and cons: Ser Erwyn isn't the friendliest man around, but spends some time gambling and drinking with a few friends he has. He is also ambidextrous and literate.
Biography: Born in 266 into the House Mallister as a bastard to Lord Jason's brother, Erwyn's prospects didn't look good, and he wasn't treated very warmly. His father didn't really care for him, and Erwyn mostly spent his time sparring in the training yard. He was given a better education than most, but not much else. At the age seven, he was assigned to Ser Gawain Hawkwood, a household knight as a page. During his early teen age, Ser Gawain and Erwyn moved to the King's Landing to find to a new master after Ser Gawain was released from Mallister service after they an argument over Erwyn's training. Erwyn often thinks that Gawain was a much better father than his real father.
At King's Landing, Ser Gawain entered the service of the Hand of the King, Lord Tywin Lannister and was sent to root out the Kingswood Brotherhood alongside many renowned knights and soldiers. Ser Gawain died after a bandit loosed an arrow at him, but Erwyn survived the campaign. He started to serve Lord Tywin, even though the man had a ruthless reputation. Erwyn followed Tywin to the Casterly Rock after his resignation as the Hand of the King. At Casterly Rock, Erwyn spent a few quiet years before the Robert's Rebellion started, squiring for a knight and rose to the rank of a knight.
When the Robert's Rebellion started in 284, Lord Tywin waited and finally made his move after the Battle of the Trident. He entered King's Landing as a friend and sacked the city. Ser Erwyn took part in the battle, taking a few nobles and knights as prisoners and ransoming them after the battle. After the war, Erwyn was dismissed from Tywin's service, and he traveled back to the Riverlands, finding himself in the service of Lord of Fairmarket. In 289, Erwyn took part in the Greyjoy Rebellion, fighting alongside Thoros of Myr. Ever since, he has spent a quiet life as the master-at-arms at Fairmarket, waiting for the next war.
Equipment: A set of steel armour bought from King's Landing and a boiled leather armour from Fairmarket, a fine-quality bastard sword, an oaken shield, travelling clothes and other garb.
"I was not born here, and this may not be my home, but I will do as Wyldes always have, and bring the storm to your enemies"
Appearance
Jon Wylde looks every bit a Stormlander. He stands at 5'10 and weighs about 180 lb., he has the thick build of man who's been fighting most his life, and fighting in heavy armor at that. His hair is thick and has an almost matte black color to it, very smooth, and now longer than he regularly would keep it, reaching just below the top of his ears, he tries to keep it combed back. His face is largely shaven, save his sideburns. His face is free from most scars, other than a particularly nasty one underneath his chin that is hard to see due to its placement. It runs from almost the center of his chin to wear his throat meets his head(a VERY lucky scar... most hit like that would be dead after all). His dull blue eyes give him a somewhat softer look, this in addition to his lack of scars mean he has remained largely handsome, if now gruffer than he once was. His chest is broad, making the tall man more than a little impressive, and his left arm is ever so slightly longer than his right(long enough to be noticed upon inspection but not at a glance or passing look). He has a fighters build, his arms, chest and legs well toned but not particularly large or bulging. His legss are long, and unlike his arms are perfectly equally proportioned.
Personality
Ser Jon Wylde acts the way a knight of Westeros should in most aspects of his life, he upholds the kings laws, respects the lords and ladies above his station and generally believes himself a pious follower of the seven, but he is not all chivalry and valor. If nothing else you could call Jon Wylde Hard workig, though those who ee him in a more negative(or positive) light would call the man ambitious. Jon Wylde is no stranger to hardship, and understands if you want something you have to take it yourself, by force if necassary. Though some call him cruel or hard - hearted, Jon considers himself a student of hard knocks, and refuses to help anyone who he thinks can help themselves, and prefers to focus on his own goals and hardships, often focusing only on his and his own, leaving others where they lay. He has worked long to get where he is, and he dosen't let anyone forget it. He may come of as hostile or unapproachable in this regard, but those who know him understand that if he were not this way he may very well be one of the smallfolk.
Jon Wylde believes himself the equal to any knight in the realm, and believes with work he can be equal to the lords as well. He sees the major Noble houses for what he thinks they are, several savage beasts, held together by marrige, money and empty oathes. He has little respect for those who see them as truly "noble" or right, looking at them like he would an army to be fought. Though he is in his element at war the young Jon Wylde is no fool among lords, and understands they play a delicate game, one that he wishes to learn. If he is to get any farther in life, he knows he must learn the war of politics like the war on the field, and seeks tutelage in this regard from the house of his wife. Any who are not a knight or lord Jon Wylde considers largely beneath his notice, though he tries hard not to let them know that... though he largely fails as speaking with those beneath his station fills him with boredom and frustration. Jon's temper is unlike other men, he rarely flies into rages or curses at the sky or whoever it was that angered him, but rather maintains a calm veneer to hide his anger, letting it fester and losseing it when necassary. He attempts to be happy when those around him are, but he pprefers to maintain the serious air of important men, preferring work to relaxation and war to peace as he can easily become bored with most things. There are exceptions to this, he will never grow tired of those he considers closest of friends and his familiy, who is always willing to protect and provide for.
A serious man with much to gain and much to lose, Jon Wylde works on the field and in the court, intending to rise above the rest, and get what he so diligently works for.
Pros and cons

Biography
Third son to Lord Casper Wylde, nothing much was ever expected of the young Lordling, house Wylde being a loyal if lesser house in service to House Baratheon. Early on Lord Casper decided Jon, like his brothers and Grand-uncle, needed to be a knight. So at the age of 8, he was squired to Ser Humfrey Wagstaff, Castellan for House Grandison. Jon served Ser Humfrey loyally, though the man never liked his squire, thought him to interested in the Games the lords played for power. He often told the boy, "No third son is ever going to get the chance to inherit much of anything boy! Be a good knight, and marry some lady and perhaps then you'll reach your greatest heights. You'll never be a part of the game's of lords." hoping to discourage the minor Lordling from ever forgetting his place. During the Greyjoy Rebellion, Ser Humfrey insisted on being placed far from the actual siege of Pyke, dealing with those Greyjoy forces still fighting outside of their stronghold. Though not as glamourous, and clearly chosen by Ser Humfrey to avoid any real danger, Jon distinguished himself and was Knighted for his bravery and skill. Returning to Rainhouse, only now did Jon learn of his brother Darnis Wylde's death at the siege of Pyke, and that he would inherit his brothers arms and armor to honour the formerly oldest son of house Wylde. Jon agreed, taking his brothers shield, armor and sword, and began his own career as a knight.
For several years after, Ser Jon Wylde was a hedge knight, going from keep to keep, lord to lord searching for work and attempting, rather clumsily, to stoke his own reputation, attempting, unsuccesfully, to gain the favor of a lord. He repeatedly attempted to make in-roads with the daughters, nieces and other children of lords and ladies but never made progress this way or any other, as the second son of a minor house with a talented Knight for a brother Jon had little chance of convincing a Lord to marry his daughter. And so it went for onwards of four years, the young knight unable to court the support he required to maintain a stable income, struggling to aford food and keep his weapons and armor in proper condition, knowing his father would not support him, as he expected his sons to take care of themselves. During this time, he heard of a tournament being held by house Tully to honour the marriage of one of their nephews, with a fine reward to the winning knight of the joust. So again Jon Wylde set off, praying to the Seven this would be the tournament he needed.
Jon arrived two days before the start of the tournament, and nearly left moments after he arrived. The vast majority of the Knights participating were landed knights of House Tully and the houses of their bannermen, and Jon was one of only a couple of hedge knights to attend leading the knights who served the Tully's to berrate the landless knights for even showing up, using the monicker of "robber knights" to describe them, ignoring Jon's Lordly origins, calling him the "second robber knight". However, as Jon began to become fed up with their constant taunting, he had what can only be described as a lucky break. Throughout his four years of attempting to court his way into the good grace of lords he had had a fletting run in with one Elyana Vypren while serving the Frey's earlier in his career. They had found one anothers company enjoyable, but Jon was released from Lord Frey's service shortly after their meeting so the relationship went no farther as Jon had to move on. Now, whilst walking the grounds of the tournament, he ran into Elyana again. They rekindled their old friendship, as it was still a day prior to the tourney, Elyana explaining her family had been invited to attend by lord Tully and Jon confessing his hope to win the prize and earn some prestige for himself. He confided in her his myriad of failures to court any sort of permanent position amongst the lords he had served, and his seeming in-ability to gain a reputation and lamented his current state of affairs. It surprised Jon then, when Elyana made him a proposal(if an offhand joke he took literally or not), suggesting that Jon speak with her father, Lucias Vypren, and ask for her hand in marriage. Jon took the suggestion to heart, and decided to remain and try to win the tournament befor asking Lord Lucias for his daughters hand, hopefully impressing the man with his skill and earning the money to support himself in one fell swoop.
As the tournament commenced Jon made his intentiions clear by carrying lady Elyana's favor, holding it throughout the tournament. Perhaps it was his burning ambition, or luck, or his honest skill but Ser Jon Wylde defeated all comers, the landed knights and landless falling to his lance. In the end, Jon Wylde won the tournament, and shortly after asked Lord Vypren for his daughters hand in marriage. Unbeknownst to Ser Jon Wylde, Elyana had used her own diplomatic charms to convince her father of Jon's honor and abilities as a knight, as well as his potential being the second son of House Wylde. Apparently this, and Jon's victory at the tourney were enough and a year later the two were married. Since that tournament around two years ago, Jon has served house Vypren loyaly, in spite of remaining a landless knight, even providing lord Vypren with a grandson Rickard Wylde. Now, as war comes to the Riverlands and a king rises in the north Jon prepares to stand with his wifes house, wherever their loyalties lie.
Equipment
-Set of heavy steel armor (Wylde regalia, previously his brother's, in the style of Baratheon bannermen armor)

-Horse -Longsword -Oak shield (Sigil of House Wylde, a golden Maelstrom, displayed) -Travelling clothes -Winter attire -Other assorted clothing
Other: On the council of Lord Vypren Jon serves as both a miltary advisor(in spite of his lack of skill at grand strategy) and as a political advisor, assisting in dealing with other houses and generally playing politics, seeing as Damon couldn't care less for such pursuits.
Is yet to recieve any official title, though is sometimes called Ser Jon the calm storm(in reference to his personality and house sigil, a blue maelstrom on a field of gold), or simply Jon the Calm, he mostly ignores the nickname

N A M E / G E N D E R / A G E Ser Damon Vypren / M / 25
A P P E A R A N C E Bearing dark brown hair and blue eyes, Damon reflects his parentage of his mother and father alike— his mother’s hardy dark brown hair and his father’s patient eyes that reflect the calming storm. Standing at 5’11” and of a trained build, Damon stands as above-average for that of those from the Riverlands and is considered tall despite being no taller than some other lords. Damon is hardy and tough; as can be expected from someone who has served with sword in hand for the majority of their life. Despite martial engagements aplenty during the Greyjoy Rebellion, Damon isn’t particularly scarred sans for a few knicks alongside his jawline that have made their mark. Despite this fact, Damon’s appearance doesn’t seem to suffer from it and is still aesthetically pleasing to the eye. As the son of lesser nobility of the Riverlands, Damon has grown up bearing formal and practical dress though never so extravagant as a Dornishman or Kingslander. Damon’s preference in appearance is within the field of the practical and the military, a fact that is clear even at his most formal as he prefers to be ready for sudden battle in the case of treachery or invasion.
P E R S O N A L I T Y Damon abides by the laws of Knighthood and Lordship, reflecting on his education as a squire and heir to House Vypren’s stronghold and lands. However, as learned as Damon is he is far more irascible than his father before him which is evident by the lively temperament that lies beneath his “armor” of manners, respect, and learning. As such had earned him childhood nicknames by his sister, Elyana, as well as his father’s own concerns about Damon’s abilities to focus through hardship or obstacle. Despite such beliefs ringing true about Damon’s anger and reactions that follow, Damon utilizes his fury well in combat scenarios— for example, whilst other knights are blinded by their rage on the battlefield Damon knows how to direct it to power through difficult opponents; claiming his anger and zeal gives himself “clarity” not “disability”.
His anger aside, Damon proves to be a skilled knight although his capacity as a commander has yet to be seen due to the lack of a large scale war striking the Riverlands since the Greyjoy Rebellion. Though given his experience, confidence, and aura it wouldn’t be a far stretch to believe that Damon has the potential to be a capable commander. With that said there lies more personality faults in the line with Damon, believing delicacies and “dancing with words” to be pointless he tends to take a more blunt and direct approach with words which can result in various consequences depending on the situation. Still though, Damon won’t be outwardly rude as he not only knows etiquette but also doesn’t believe belittling others proves much use on or off the battlefield; after all he had fought with squires and smallfolk alike during the Greyjoy Rebellion which had weathered whatever snobbish preconceptions he had gained due to his upbringing as one of the lower nobility.
Whilst he isn’t condescending towards those that would be seen as lesser towards him, Damon is proud of his station and his ancestry. Going back to the only academics he ever cared for, Ancient History, Damon identifies as Riverlander (or Riverman) and finds trouble enjoying the fact Southern and Northern lords have claimed ownership of his people for centuries; a fact he considered culturally suffocating. His discontent includes that of anyone that abused his ancestors whether they were descended from Valyrian, Ironborn, or whoever. He finds it infuriating that the men of the Rivers have not truly ruled themselves in such a long time.
P R O S A N D C O N S Pros
Experienced Knight — Despite his young age, through his efforts as Knight-Captain and his experiences during the Greyjoy Rebellion, Damon is a skilled knight though to what capacity in comparison to others is unknown. Due to this he is competent with swordplay, horses, basic tactics, and so forth.
Resilient — Damon has a strong mind and body despite any emotional problems he may have. He can be tricked, but is generally set in being able to withstand with his values and direction; his body has been trained to withstand the weight of armor and the pains of war.
Cons
Crude Politician — Despite being the son of a Lord, Damon’s aptitude for intrigue and diplomacy are average at best. This can be due to his guardian’s focus on training him as a knight and the only intellectual studies Damon cares for being historical and military in nature.
Cultural Pride — For various reasons Damon is partial to being mildly xenophobic due to a strong sense of cultural pride and identity. He dislikes those descended from Ironborn and Valyrian descent the most and is more prone to ignore their opinions or be irritated by their presence causing his perception to be muddied.
Temperament — Despite his resilience, Damon has a bad habit of letting his anger and zealous nature to guide his actions and it is said that getting him in this sort of mood is not difficult.
B I O G R A P H Y Damon is the son of Lord Lucias Vypren and Lady Lythene Frey, birthed around 273 AC.
Damon’s father arranged for his son’s guardianship under Lord Jason Mallister; hoping that his son would gather wisdom underneath the renowned knight and lord. This however was poorly timed as it was only a year before the horns of Robert’s Rebellion rung out following the despicable acts laid onto House Baratheon and House Stark alike by House Targaryen; the Mad King’s actions had put the realm into chaos. Still, the nine-year old ward followed his guardian as his ward— a fact that put his father back home in a nervous frenzy as he began to hope for the war to end before it would take his only son and heir. Fortunately, Robert’s Rebellion would end in the favor of that result indeed. Years later Damon’s status as squire would be tested.
In time and through dutiful service as a squire, Damon was risen to knighthood for his diligence during the Greyjoy Rebellion— particularly in the battle known as The Storming of Seagard. This had been his first real experience with the Ironborn outside of the texts that Damon had read throughout his childhood upon his education regarding the history of the lands of the Trident and the Ironborn’s tyrannical reach that only ended when Valyrians dawned upon Westeros atop dragons. Perhaps it was Damon’s anger or zeal that made him fight hardily against the Ironborn that descended upon Seagard, but in the end he was recognized of his worth in battle beyond the simple capacities of a squire. A fact that Lord Jason Mallister noted about the young man. But the war against the “rebellion” was far from over, a fact that was clear as Damon looked west beyond the sea.
Following the Greyjoy Rebellion, Damon returned home when his father requested his presence for an “important matter”— a matter that would be the courting of his future wife, Jayne Bracken. A courting that seemed to be successful in strengthening the bonds between Vypren and Bracken, and Jayne and Damon. Perhaps it was the comfort of returning home or the tension lightening after the end of the Greyjoy Rebellion but Damon felt at ease, at least for a time. Following his betrothal the suggestion of him serving as a knight of Fairmarket seemed to be of an interest to Damon, and one he eventually felt compelled to request. He was home.
Years later, following the resignation of the former Guard Captain & Commander of Fairmarket it has come to the point where Damon’s father had requested a more active responsibility (perhaps to groom him for the role of lord) and instead of hiring a new Knight-Captain opted to promote Damon himself to the role. After accepting the responsibility, Damon found himself avidly attempting to clean out Fairmarket with this authority upon the discovery of a criminal cartel in the city that attempted to use Damon’s “inexperience” to expand their operations. However, this did not go well when Damon responded back with vicious measures that would earn him the title of “the Shark of Fairmarket”, a title he ignored as he continued to choke down crime in his city.
It has been some years since… though the tides of war are about to shake again unbeknownst to Damon...
E Q U I P M E N T Damon’s on-hand inventory includes a locket, long sword, armor, coinpurse, and reinforced clothes. He travels with cloak and horse as well.
O T H E R Damon Vypren’s role on the council for his lord, Lord Lucias Vypren, is one that operates as an additional ruling opinion for military and political advisement (though the only "House Politics" he cares to bother with is with ones he has ties to such as Frey, Bracken, and Mallister).
He has also been additionally put in charge of the security of Fairmarket as an acting Guard Captain and Commander recently after the resignation of the previous individual who held the title.
Has received a pseudo-title as “The Shark of Fairmarket”.
N A M E / G E N D E R / A G E Lord Lucias Vypren / Male / 49
A P P E A R A N C E
Lord Lucias stands at a height of just below six feet, a few hairs' breadths shorter than his son. His dark hair is close-cropped and beginning to gray, and over a square jaw he maintains only a thin layer of stubble. His eyes, a deep cloudy blue-gray, are deep-set into his face. Once a man with a girth to match his height, he would appear something of a gaunt shadow in comparison to those who once saw him -- the lingering effect of a sickness that has not quite finished taking its toll on him.
Oftentimes Lucias does not share his son's affinity for porting mail in court, and dresses in a more traditional yellow-and-green surcoat and fur cloak. His armor itself, when he chooses to wear it, is a rather expensive and well-made suit of steel, all sharp angles and edges and with two coiled vipers clasping his cloak onto the shoulders.
P E R S O N A L I T Y Lucias was once a boy of fiery temper, not unlike his son, quick to anger but just as quick to calm. However, he came back from the War of the Ninepenny Kings particularly shaken, and with every passing year grew more solemn. He attributes this off-handedly to the wisdom of age, though no doubt there are other factors.
Lucias has always been more pragmatic than zealous, viewing his worldly oaths more important than those of the gods. Regardless, he tries to do what is right, first for his family and then in general. Immediately below the desire to honor his oaths and protect his family is a somewhat prickly sense of honor -- Lucias views his House as deserving more than the status it currently holds, frequently lamenting his Andal ancestors' positions as petty kings of the Blue Fork. He views it as a matter of irritation that his dynasty does not receive the same amount of attention as even, say, the Blackwoods or the Mallisters. Perhaps it makes perfect sense, then, that he is quite fond of his Frey relatives by marriage.
Lucias likes to consider himself kind to the common man, but in spite of it he finds it hard to shake the idea of the smallfolk as numbers to be expended. He is perhaps overly cautious even as it relates to the mild rivers of the central riverlands, keeping his granaries perpetually filled with food in case of harvest failure or some similar occurrence.
P R O S A N D C O N S
Pros: - Practical: In the end, Lucias harbors few illusions when it comes to such ideals as honor and dignity. He tries to maintain them for himself, but is not so naive as to expect others to, or to keep it at all costs. - Calm: Lucias is not a man quick to be stirred in anger. He knows when to listen before speaking, and when silence is a better answer than fury. - Capable: Skilled all-around in governance and command by experience, Lucias is also reasonably well-trained with a sword, though perhaps not to the same level as his son or indeed many of the household knights.
Cons: - Frail: Lucias has not quite managed to shake off a persistent cold for the last several years, a condition that may be attributed to his age. He does not have the same endurance that he did a decade ago. - Proud: In his mind, the Vyprens should hold a respect due to them for their loyalty and history, and this status is not given. While he holds a more personal respect for his current liege lord, others may not find the same amount of deference.
B I O G R A P H Y Lucias Vypren was born the second and final son of his small family, his father a hard man of little renown and his mother a Blackwood from some distant branch of the dying tree. Lucias' older brother was a good eight years older than him, already a fine page by the time of the boy's birth. Lucias enjoyed a somewhat affluent childhood, for his family maintained (and still does) a reasonably impressive proportion of wealth to their size, and expected to rule some smaller keep or holdfast in service to his brother when he came of age.
When Lucias held about eleven years to his name, however, the War of the Ninepenny Kings broke out. Lucias, enthusiastic and fiery-tempered as only new-made squires might be, served his older brother as he fought at the Stepstones. In the same great battle where the final Blackfyre pretender was slain and a dozen great faces first distinguished themselves, however, Lucias' brother took a wounding. While it did not at first seem fatal, the young man's shoulder turned necrotic on the ship back towards the mainland, and he died miles from the shore.
It fell upon the young Lucias, then, to secure a means of travel back to his home and bring the news and the corpse to his grieving lord father and lady mother. Humbled by his experiences on the Stepstones, Lucias reacted to his new position as his father's heir with a loss of much of the fiery temper for which he had before been known.
A short time after Lucias reached his twentieth year of age, his father passed away from a sudden chill, and Lucias became the Lord of Fairmarket. He set his sights to managing the surrounding lands, improving tax flow and tariffs from the city proper and encouraging its development. This could not last, however -- little more than about five years later, Robert's Rebellion broke out in earnest. Lucias joined the fighting for his liege lord, where he faced off under Lord Hoster Tully at the Battle of the Bells and slew a half-dozen freeriders and one knight of little renown. Though much in the realm found itself fundamentally changed following the toppling of the Targaryens, Lucias still had the same keep and the same town to rule, and so he returned to his home with his young children and his Frey wife and lived happily there for a number more of years. Eventually he sent his only son, Damon, to serve as a squire at Seagard. This was a choice that Lucias would later come to regard as bittersweet -- it is said that when the Greyjoy Rebellion began and the ironborn swept down onto the Mallisters, Lucias had refused to commit his levies to the storming of the Isles until he learned that the ironmen had been swept back into the sea, for fear that he might not receive word if his son had died.
When it became apparent that Damon was not, in fact, dead, Lucias commanded his troops and fought at the siege of Pyke, storming the walls with a number of other notables, including the king himself. Though he took no wound in the battle, Lucias caught a fever at sea that he would not quite manage to be rid of in the coming years, in the end losing a not-insignificant amount of mass and becoming quite a bit more frail. Following the war's end Lucias recalled his newly-knighted son homewards, ostensibly to find him a wife but primarily to keep his family close, and maintained a fruitful and careful rule -- but for a single irritation, in which some stormlander tourney knight managed to catch the favor of his only daughter. After the Wylde boy had won the tournament, however, what could Lucias do but allow it? He kept the two at his own court as the price.
It could be considered a bit of a boon, then, that no further wars broke out until the present. Now the land stands once more on edge, and Lucias must lament seeing a fourth major war in his lifetime. The better question, of course: With whom shall he stand?
E Q U I P M E N T On his person at most times is a fur cloak, a surcoat bearing his coat of arms, a reasonably fat coin purse and a sword. In actual battle, of course, he owns a valuable and well-made suit of plate, a destrier, and lance and shield. At his disposal is the moderate wealth of Fairmarket.
"Just because I carry no sword or shoot no arrow does not mean I am not dangerous. It just means I have more clever ways to solve my problems.."
Appearance
Elyana has long, dark brown hair that falls to her hips, much like her mother's. She has blue eyes from her father and a fair complexion. She stands at 5'10, just shy of her twin brother. She weighs 120 lbs and has a petite, ladylike frame. Elyana is not scarred or blemished as she has not had formal combat training. Having been raised and brought up to respect appearance, Elyana looks and dresses like a lady at all times, wearing dresses and gowns whenever in public, and house dresses when in her own home. She has been known to dress more comfortably when not in the presence of others. She wears make-up in basic shades of red and pink and fine powders. Her favorite color is pink and has been known to wear that color often.
Personality
Elyana enjoys her lifestyle and portrays the values placed upon her by her parents. Through training, schooling, and lessons, Elyana has been taught a wide variety of subjects from social graces to history to mathematics. Elyana is very bright and shows her lessons off proudly.
Unlike her brother, Elyana doesn't display a heated temperament, preferring to remain cool under pressure. She believes a clear mind is more useful than brawn to overcoming hard situations. Due to this, Elyana is very persuasive and has a conniving side to her, as evident to her convincing her father, along with John's efforts, to her marrying him instead of being married off to a higher standing family. Elyana, also due to her upbringing, can be snobbish, but she makes an effort to not appear so and to respect the fact her family has what they have. She is proud to be part of the Vypren family.
Elyana is headstrong and determined in whatever she has her heart set on. She is a little jealous of her brother and his taking over the household despite her being older (even by a few minutes). She has had the idea of learning how to sword fight, but her father squashed her hopes of learning to do so at a younger age.

Biography
Elyana is the daughter of Lord Lucias Vypren and Lady Lythene Frey, birthed around 273 AC
Elyana's parents, having sent her brother off to be trained by Lord John Mallister, they took it upon themselves to train Elyana to be a lady and eventual wife to someone of higher power to cross ties and cement alliances. Through training, Elyana learned a variety of subjects. Her tutors enjoyed working with Elyana as she put up minimal fuss while learning, except the occasional act of rebellion when she wanted to do something fun. Elyana took her social classes to heart as it made her mother happy.
As she got older, she began to realize how political standings worked and how important it was to act and behave a certain way. She didn't want for much, but whatever she did want she would ask her father and, in an attempt to keep her happy in her studies, her father would give it to her. She enjoyed this small source of power over her father and used it to get further into her studies, studying different subjects that weren't normal for ladies of her station.
It was during this time she met Jon Wylde, who was serving under Lord Frey. As he was visiting, Elyana began talking with the young man and found herself enjoying his company greatly. Partially due to boredom from having no one to talk to her own age (as her brother was off doing his own thing), but mainly due to her fondness for the man, they struck a quick friendship, but was cut away as Jon was relieved of his situation with Lord Frey.
Her father continued to try and find a suitable man for his daughter to marry. With a few notable prospects in the horizon, Elyana found herself worried about what she would be getting into. While she wanted to make her parents happy, she didn't want to marry some man just so she could keep alliances and have children. She thought of Jon again, and wished for a change. She was presented to the various families that her father wanted to align himself with and she found each of the men presented to her to be unbearable, rude, and just plain boring. She used whatever ounce of power she had to get her father to change his mind about these men and to wait, just a bit longer, for her marriage to the right person. Her father, hesitantly, accepted.
A tournament was to be held by house Tully and her family was invited to attend. Elyana enjoyed seeing tournaments as she has wanted to learn sword combat, but was shot down by her father (the one instance she couldn't get him to budge on). She was enjoying herself when she ran into none other than Jon Wylde again. Excited to see him again, she hatched a plan to relieve herself of this situation of marrying someone she couldn't stand, and proposed to Jon to ask for her hand in marriage. Knowing full well that John was not part of a family her father would have chosen, she decided to use whatever pull she could to get him to accept.
As the tournament went on, Elyana continuously praised John's efforts in the tournament, telling her father he was a loyal man, strong, determined, and would make a good husband and father and one that would carry whatever title he earned with pride. Though her father was hesitant, Jon ended up winning the tournament. Elyana then told her father that she felt John was an ideal partner for her. Her father, both amazed by Jon's talent and by his daughter's persuasion, agreed to the marriage. A year later, they held a wedding and the two were married. Elyana was happy she was with a man she cared about and, with time, realized she loved. Shortly after, Elyana gave birth to a son, named Rickard. She stands with her family in their values as war was on the horizon.
