Mandalore was a joke. Harkin Jendri couldn't help but shake his head in disgust as he looked out at the cityscape through the transparasteel of the Mereel's Revenge. The YV-929 set down heavily on the landing pad, its metal tonnage settling with a creak as the Mandalorian stood from the pilot's seat and shouldered the heavy blaster rifle at his side.

The people here called themselves Mandalorians, but they knew nothing of their own culture. They were politicians and traders. It spat in the face of everything he had fought for all those years ago, all that his vode had died for. He felt the bile rise in his throat as he started toward the boarding ramp, punching the button to extend it outward.

The New Mandalorians may have been Mando'ad in name only, but at least in their abandoning the ways of the Mando'ade, they tried to retain something resembling honor, as pale and pitiful as it was compared to his people's. The quarry he was here for also called themselves Mando'ad. That was an even greater insult than it was from Satine's people.

Kyr'tsad. That was who Harkin was here for. The honorless vermin that he would see die by his hand. His, and that of the....'partner' he was to work with. The Mandalorian Guard had told him to expect a second investigator, that they would meet him here on Mandalore. Probably one of their policemen. Spirited, brave, but not a match for the Death Watch cowards they would surely meet.

"Best have chosen someone worthy. Or I'll be working alone again soon." He grumbled to himself as he stepped out onto the landing pad, the sun gleeming off his beskar'gam.

Lady Megara was hanging from the ceiling, dried blood mixed with dirt all over her. Her arms were covered in burns and cuts, her face just as bad. The doors opened and a guard walked in with a tall alien with long white fingers. "My dear, I hope you are well rested...your big show is about to start...since you wouldn't tell us what we wanted to know, the master is coming to collect you...after you entertain our forces here with a good sparring match...you against our top mercenaries. Everyone is very excited for the match so we shall get things going" he snapped his fingers and the guards went over and brought her down, her legs unable to hold her up. Megara looked at him, her eyes full of fire as that grabbed her out.

In the warehouse they set up a makeshift area, the workers and guards cheering as she was dragged out. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She was weak but she could still feel the force around her. The guards dropped her in the middle of the clearing, unlocking her wrists from each other but kept the bands on. The alien from before walked out and said "welcome to our main event of the day. While we wait for the sith masters to come collect our guest we decided to soften her up for them. Remember, she does anything we don't like and well..." He hit a button on his gauntlet and shocks from the bands on the Jedi's wrists and ankles surged thru her. She cried out, falling to her side and shaking in pain. Her nerves were fired as it was. She couldn't take much more then this. He moved his hand and said "shall we begin?" Megara glared at him, wishing she had her light saber. She looked around at the four brutes walked towards her and she's muttered "looks like fun..."

There was a loud bell and the men took after her, but she was done playing. She had a mission and these Bruts were in her way. She jumped out of the way over the first one, grabbing his staff off his back and hitting him hard with it in the head. The other ran towards her and she swung and landed the end against his face, knocking him out cold and to the ground. The crowd cheered for people love an under dog. The game master frowned and reached for his band but suddenly the staff came flying out of no where and stuck into the wall next to him. He looked down at the Jedi and she smirked weakly. "That's not happening...I'm leaving now..." She pulled what looked like a bomb off one the men's belts and turned it on, throwing it at the crowd as she did so.

There was a huge blast and smoke filled the warehouse, Megara willing her body to move enough to get out of there. With people running for their lives she slipped out easily, shaking badly as she headed for a transport ship and slipped on, heading to her mission location.

The ship touched down in the city square, Megara slipping off noticed as she could into the crowd towards the main city. She needed to find her contact, but she could barely move let alone focus on her senses to locate them. She leaned against a tree, her beaten body begging for rest. She looked around at the faces of the people, luckily no one had noticed her yet. She checked herself over and noticed a long gash on her side. She cursed, trying to stop the bleeding as she slid down the tree. She must have been hit during her escape. She kept her hood up, hiding her face as people walked by. She had no weapon, no communication and no medical supplies. She then closed her eyes and opened her will to the force, hoping that whoever her partner was was in touch with his senses to follow her trail. It was a long shot but it was her only chance before she bleed to death.
