The 30-day Song Challenge

As I'm sure people has already heard of it. This is pretty much that infamous challenge on the internet that calls for people to put up one song daily according to the day's specific theme. I'm going to be doing it, but feel free to do it along with me. :)

Rules:

• Use hiders if posting the video. Some of us don't have fast comps, so it'll be just common courtesy.
• Post one song per-day
• Give a reason why you chose said song

For this one, I chose The Happy Song by Kate Micucci because 1, it's in the name, and 2, I just love how this song makes me feel.

Day 02 - A song that helps you clear your head

I chose this song because it's one of those songs that, despite it's very hardcore sound, it lets me get lost in the lyrics and forget aobut whatever's bothering me.

Day 2: A Song That Helps Clear My Head

I chose this song because when I need to really clear my head of all the shit I go through, it reminds me to give no fucks and just live.

Day 02- A song that help clear your head

Chose Tristam & Braken's Frame of Mind simply because I found the song's lyrics and beat enticing and it makes me forget about pretty much everything else.

I chose Super Planet Dolan's Sea of Tea simply out of the contrast of the opening of the song to its climax and leading to the most amusing ending I have found.

The reason I chose this song is because it reminds me of a time where I wasn't really in a good place. This was like five or six years ago, but I still remember like it was yesterday.

I chose this song because I always feel really deeply emotional when I listen to it. Amy Lee has a way of doing that to me.

The picture, the instruments, Eden's voice; they all add up to be one song which conveys a feeling of sadness accompanied by hope. It also reminds me of a really low point in my high school years so I connect to it personally.

Day 05 - A song that has a new meaning to you every time you hear it

I was almost stumped on this one. When I first heard this song, I thought it was simply about telling a person not to give up on life and go for suicide. After several years, I have realized that it is really talking about the life of a veteran after a war who had been suffering PTSD. The 21 guns they are talking about is a typical military salute for dead veterans or soldiers who died in battle. It is basically against War and suicide and pleads for veterans to get help if they are suffering.

Day 05: A song that has a new meaning to you every time you hear it

Originally, this song reminded me of talking some peeps on the internet, but now that I have had time to really enjoy this song, I have found myself looking at it a new light. Nowadays, I find myself feeling that it's about a guy remembering someone that he loved once upon a time and now it's too late for him to have them.

Day 5: A Song That Has A New Meaning Every Time I Hear It

I picked this song because well, I always feel different each time I listen to it. Sometimes I feel empowered and proud to be different and other times I wana eat. It's very strange. But an awesome song!

Day 06 - A song you can always relate to

This song was pretty much my life except for the fact that I wasn't trying to marry her. I was simply dating her when I was in high school and her Father hated me with every fiber of his being. So I decided to say fuck him and dated her anyway. Still dating her now in fact.

I chose this song because, in my current mental state, this really speaks to me personally. There's a special person in my life, whom in which I love dearly, just gives me — pardon the pun — the rhythm of love. <3

Okay, let's face it: we have all went through that Emo phase. Our parents did, older siblings and we did. Mine was within the mid-00s. This song was one of the ones that I listened to nonstop. God, I will probably go and listen to that entire album again just for the nostalgia factor alone.

I don't often listen to rap. In fact, I tend to avoid rap songs as I don't like how they are made. But, this song is one of very few songs of rap that I listen to when I get the feeling for it.

I liked eight years ago but not anymore. It was nice but it is far out of the songs I like nowadays.

It is literally in the name and I like the beat.

It's an overall beautiful song that carries a lot of feeling behind it as well as the video itself makes for a song that I can't help but tear up to.
