Sins of Commorragh
Commorragh. The Dark City. A bastion of decadence and sin, if ever there was one. Once a settlement of the Eldar Empire, where the nobility would retreat to to hide the extent of their depravity from the judgmental eyes of society, the winding streets and black spires of the Dark City now serve as a home to the truly unrepentant.
Slavery, piracy, and gang warfare are rife within the howling confines of the city state; the pillars upon which Dark Eldar society has been built. Vast labyrinthine munitions factories stretch beneath Commorragh’s surface, where slaves toil away for years on end, crafting the infamously toxic Splinter guns that are used by their oppressors. The bloody arenas of Commorragh overflow with vicious Wych gladiators, the ruthless Incubi serve as high class bodyguards to those who can afford their services, and the sadistic Hamunucli toil away within their laboratories, shifting and twisting life itself.
Asdrubael Vect and his Kabal of the Black Heart are the undisputed lords and masters of Commorragh, as has been the case for nearly 10,000 years.
But now, whispers of change are floating through the streets.
Whilst Vect battles to fend off the leering talons of those seeking to dethrone him, new Kabals are rising to prominence and glory within the Dark City. War is coming, and only one thing remains certain…
Whatever happens next, Commorragh well never be the same again.
Out Of Character
So, what we have here is a 40k RP set within the Dark Eldar’s capital. Commorragh’s non-slave population is almost exclusively made up of the Eldar’s more BDSM obsessed cousins, but some of the tougher mercenaries of other races can find a home within its gloomy halls.
Players have the option of taking on the role of pretty much any ORIGINAL (No you can’t play Vect) character within Commorragh; from a kabalite warrior, all the way up to an Archon. You can be a slave if you REALLY want to, but I can’t see there being much fun to be had there.
You can team up and form an alliance (or whatever the Dark Eldar equivalent is) with other players, or strike off and your own and get your bollocks shot off rise to greatness.
