[IC] The First Summoning

Botis rolled his eyes, he noticed that his mistress probably liked him more in his human form than his demon form. Or maybe she secretly also adored his demon form? It would be more logical, his demon form had all his sexy aspects like his horns, which were now removed unfortunately, he hoped he wouldn't be stuck in this downgrading form for too long.

"I shall tell you something interesting. Back in the days when I was still summoned to the surface I was often the one who had to set the villages to fire, it even was my task when I was first summoned. A burning village is dear to my heart, that's why I usually watch it from below." he chuckles. "But I guess it could be fun to visit a village instead."

"And you know that I can easily free us from the stake, right?" he winked. "Well, shall we go mistress?"

''alright, off we go then'' Ciara said and she walked up the stairs, leaving Botis wondering what she was going to do.

''come count Botis, we are going to take off soon'' she yelled from upstairs and Botis followd her towards one of the highest points of the old oak. the branch was long and wide and you could look over the tree's of the forest.

Ciara waited for Botis to come, stand by her before pointing to a mountain in the distance.

''you see that mountain count, that is where the village is''Ciara grinned and put her fingers in here mouth as she wisteld. Almost immediatly a stick from above came flying down, the stick was long and had something like a foothold sticking out of it. Ciara grabbed the stick and walked towards the end of the branch. She gave Botis one look before jumping of the end.

''Volito!''Ciara chanted

Quickly she put her foot on the foothold while holding the top of the stick with her hand. She stirred her energy upwards making it levitate the stick.

She pulled upwards making her fly up the sky racing straight past Botis who was still standing on the branch. When she reached her highest point she let herself fall back towards the branch where Botis was still waiting.

''You didn't think we would walk now, did you'''

''do you need a ride or can you keep up'' Ciara said smiling, a slight blush spreading on her cheeks from all the excitement. It was her first time flying in few months and she had forgotten how great it felt, soaring through the sky, flying faster than any bird.

The mistress Ciara said it was time to go, but instead of going to a door she headed upstairs, much to the confusion of Botis. He decided to follow her up to a high point in the old oak. It was a thick and firm branch one could stand up and see far into the distance from. Botis saw his mistress pointing to the mountain in the distance.

She told him that the village was there and shortly after called upon a large stick, walked to the end of the branch and jumped off. Botis kept very calm under it and as expected she ascended again, using the stick as a transportation object. A grin appeared on Botis face. "Haven't seen that trick before." he mumbled to himself sarcastically, unimpressed when she soared around him and performed some tricks.

"Initially I did." he replied to his mistress who thought that Botis though they were going to walk. He chuckled when his mistress offered him a ride. "Come on my lady, I am not one of your puny little demons. I am count Botis, of course I can keep up with you." he sprouted two demonic bat-like wings from his back, luckily his mistress didn't take away his abilities with the cloak spell, and joined her in the sky. "Lead the way milady."

Ciara pouted when she saw that Botis was unfazed by her actions. But then again, why would he. He is a demon who has seen a lot of things in his long life.

''I had at least hoped to give you a bit of a scare, count'' Ciara said when Botis flew besides her.
''well then, enough chitchat. lets go!'' and she took of leavin Botis behind for a bit. As expected Botis quickly caught up to her.

Ciara decided to take it easy instead of challenging Botis for a speed contest.

'definetly another time when I have grown more strong'

So Ciara sat down on her stick, like a typical witch would do and talked to Botis.

''so, we are going to visit a human village you have never seen without burning them'' Ciara winked ''but just like you I am curious as to what a demon village looks like. Or do you even have them? The two little ones said they were born in a colony, but they don't like to talk about the regions outside the area they have been raised in, so I do not ask of them''

''so how is hell, the underworld and....''
''do you know of a demon called Danthalion?, he is like you one of the 72 key's of solomon'' Ciara dared to ask.

Botis soared along with his mistress through the sky and heard her talking about the village up ahead. He didn't really care much for how a surface village works and looks like, at least that is what he said to himself. But something in the back of his head told him otherwise, it was curious what other kind of people lived there, and even how they would react to him.

Ciara showed interest in how a village in the demon world looked like. He smiled, thinking about his realm was great, it filled him with lovely memories.

"I shall tell you mistress. In the demon world there are things which you could consider 'villages' but they aren't like here. There are some buildings here and there, mostly in ruins. Some colony's, some caves, but nothing which one could call a village. Of course there are the manors and castles in which higher ranked demons like yours truly live in." he said with a smug smile.

Then she suddenly asked a rather strange question, if he knew the demon Danthalion. How would she have knowledge of such a demon, he is ranked higher than himself. He had only encountered him once, in the demon world, and it wasn't a pleasant encounter. He didn't want to think about it anymore. He looked to his mistress.

"I have heard his name drop somewhere down below, but I have no knowledge of Danthalion. Not all demons know each other." he chuckled.

Ciara giggled when Botis admitted to her he was living in a castle.

''a castle he, such a shame I will never be able to vistit it. Your castle must be quite magnificent'' she inmagened Botis his castle in her head. Big and onimous, definetly not a place for humans to enter.

However when Botis said he didn't knew Dantalion her smile dissapeared from her face. She stared in the distance as an old memorie made its way to the survace.

''listen Ciara, I am not your demon, you have to find your own'' a Big man with a red cape said to a little Ciara in a black dress.
''I cannot take care of you anymore, the witches at the convoy will do so from now of on'' The big man said and he created a portal to go back to the underworld''
''DANTALION!'' Ciara yelled as she grabbed hold of his cape.
''don't leave me, you...you...mom asked you to...'' Ciara hiccuped
''I'm sorry Ciara''

Ciara got pulled back to reality when she felt a life force coming closer to her. Just in time she managed to avoid a collision with a group of gees that had flown to her direction.

quickly she pulled back to the attitude she had before the almost collission and made her way to a widly grinning Botis.

''Something funny count'' she said pride hurt.

''we have to land anyway. the village is near and we can't exactly fly into it'' Ciara said as she landed on the ground

As he finished his chuckle he saw that his mistress was somewhat distracted and probably didn't even hear his last sentence. When she asked what was funny he just shrugged his shoulders. It was time to land, the dived towards the mountain path. Botis crashed down at full speed before coming to a slow halt right before landing on the path and subtracting his wings again, making him look human again.

"I hope the walk from here isn't too far?" Botis commented. "Cause you know, I hate walking."

''ahhh hahaha, its a bit of a walk from here. but please bear with it'' Ciara said. She grabbed her stick and chanted

''ut parvo'' as the stick grew smaller and smaller to the size of a hair pin.

Ciara and Botis started to walk as the first guard tower became visable. Soon enough the walls of the village towerd above them and they went to the gate. There Ciara saw a familliar face standing guard at the main gate.

''Rico!'' she called as she ran towards him. The guard Rico didn't seem to recognize Ciara at first, but soon enough he recognized her.

''Ciara, what are you doing here so close to the village?'' Rico said panicking a bit.
''you should't have come out of the forest, what if my father figures out what you are'' only then Rico took notice of Botis who was standing behind his mistress.

Rico's eyes went wide open and he pulled his sword.
''A demon'' he wispered
''admoderor '' Ciara chanted at the same time and the sword got stuck in it's sheat.

''Botis here is a demon contracted to me. He won't cause any harm, I promise Rico''

They arrived at the gate of the village after some time of walking. Botis looked around showing no real expression on his face. Might have been idle curiosity. He saw a man standing in front of the gate, Rico he heard his name was when his mistress called out to him. Rico quickly noticed Botis and, as he apparently had knowledge of supernatural things, was shocked.

"Don't sweat it Rico, pal." Botis stood next to him now and threw his hand on the guy's shoulder. "I'm merely a count, one of the stronger demons in the Underworld. You have nothing to worry about, at least not when I am under contract with my mistress." he said intimidating yet also mocked the guy.

Botis turned his head to Ciara "What's up with this guy? How does he knew you're a witch and that I'm a demon?" he said still having his arm wrapped around Rico who couldn't get his sword out of his sheath if even if he wanted to.

Ciara slapped her forehead when Botis gave away his position so easy. She had refrained from calling him count in the precense of Rico, but Botis just went and blew it.

Rico was still trying to get his sword out of his sheat, but gave up after he realized that he wasn't going to succeed. Instead he akwardly crawled out of Botis arm grip and stood on the other side of Ciara.

''Rico here, is a friend I made when I came to live in this forest. I kinda saved him when he got into a fight with Cherub and Surgat'' Ciara grinned while Rico scratched the back of his head.

''really Ciara, those two might look like they can't do a thing but when it comes to protecting you they go to any lenght'' Rico said looking around.

''those two aren't with you?''

''a, no. Count Botis doesn't like them very much'' Ciara awnserd Rico, who seemed a bit reliefed.

''anyway, count Botis. The reason Rico could sense that you are a demon is because he and his family have a gift''

''to sense the demons and their...... playmate's'' Rico said akward as Ciara laughed again.

''before he met me he thought that witches danced around naked under the full moon doing all kinds of spells to make humanty's life miserable'' Ciara teased Rico.

''don't remind me of it, it was the way I was raised''

Ciara saw that Botis wasn't really keeping up with the conversation.

''Count Botis'' Ciara said carefull

''Rico is the son of a witch hunter''

Rico quickly made his way out of Botis' grip, which displeased the demon count. He crossed his arms and looked at his mistress and the guy with little interest. He caught that Rico had special abilities or something and some other bullshit that really didn't interest him so much. He did notice Rico calling him a playmate, it didn't fell that well with Botis so he gave Rico a deadly stare which was sure to frighten him.

Ciara continued by saying that Rico's father was a witch hunter. Which kinda surprised Botis.

"So please enlighten me mistress. What are we doing in a town where you know someone would take much pleasure in crushing your heart? And seeing as they also possess the ability to see you're a witch and I'm a demon. You really pick out your places to visit, don't you?"

he sighed.

"If we will get attacked I might as well break this cloaking spell and return to my sexy demon form again."

Ciara ignored his last remark about his sexy demon form and turned to Botis

''noooo, attacking ayone Count Botis'' she said quickly.
''I'm sorry Rico, he just wants to see the town. He will behave'' Ciara reasured him.

Rico sighed and looked at Botis.

'' listen, the reason I can sense that you are a demon is because I knew that Ciara is a witch. A witch hunter must be aware of enemy presense nearby in order for him to notice a witch and or demon. long ago a powerfull sorcerer casted a curse on us, as long as we are ignorant of evil we shall not sense it. We have to know that a witch or demon is in that area in order form me to sense her'' Rico explained.

''the curse of ignorance'' Ciara said ''as long as his father thinks that there are no witches or demons nearby he cannot sense them''

''even though the curse excists, it is still very dangerous for you to come close here'' Rico worried. ''my father might be foolish by believing any witch fears him and doens't come close to this village because of him, but he is still ruthless'' Rico said concerned.

''please let us through Rico, we will be gone with two houres or so'' Ciara pleaded with him to no avail, Rico still stood infront of the gate with his hand on his sword.

''no Ciara'' he said confident, wich was a weird combination because his sword was still spellbound.

''then you leave me no choise'' Ciara said grinning as she moved closer to Rico. She was planning something she had seen her mother do just once, a witch's seduction.

''please Rico, let us through'' She said in her sweetest voice, bringing her lips closer to his face and without a moments notice, Ciara kissed Rico's cheeck and grabbed Botis his hand.

''run'' she giggled as she sped through the gate leaving Rico blushing and rubbing his cheeck.

''Ciara!'' he called, but to no avail for she and Botis had already dissapeared into the streets of the town.

Botis was quite intrigued when he heard about the curse and was surprised that there were so many supernatural things at the surface. Thinking most of it was restricted to the demon world and that wretched place above. Ciara made it able for them to enter the village, he admired her use of being a young female to seduce Rico so they could enter. He expected that Rico would probably try to fetch them at some point, but it wouldn't be shortly, they already were deep into the village by now.

"So what did you want to let me see here?" Botis asked as he looked around the simplistic village. People were roaming the square they were walking in and were busy with their own boring lives.

"Because it looks rather boring here. Is there some sort of sight-seeing point here? In Paris they have the Eiffel Tower, in London the Big Ben, in Rome the Coliseum and from what I can see this place has a well." he remarked.

Ciara walked still holding Botis by his wrist leading him to the town's square. She hid her face a bit as she was still blushing, Ciara couldn't believe she just cheek kissed Rico.

She turned around to Botis when he asked her why she had brought him here.

''well, it may sound silly to you but from what I have heard from you, you have only seen much death in this world....'' Ciara paused and looked around at the people.

'' I kinda wanted to show you life instead of death'' She said and pointed at some childeren playing on the Streets. Ciara, who was still holding Botis his wrist, walked onto the square showing it to him.

''life is beautifull count Botis'' she said while letting go of his wrist, spinning around and walking backwards, holding her basket behind her. The square was filled to the brim with people who where shopping. A group of young women who were gossiping when they walked past them, the baker who was yelling that his bread was the best, and a butcher doing the same thing for his meat. childeren running around destracting a farmer, while the rest of them stole some apples.

''so how do you like it?'' Ciara asked Botis. She really hoped he would like this ''and if you want I have some money with me, we can buy something""

Botis was dragged along by his mistress through the village. She told him about the death he had seen in this world, and lacked the sight of happiness of living. As she spoke he looked around seeing many people crowd the village each doing their own business. He saw the kids running past them, seemingly playing a game of tag. They followed the children to the square where he saw the village's liveliest point. The people looked happy.

Ciara released him, turning around to look at him with a cheery smile. A faint smile appeared on his face when he saw her beautiful smile. He got distracted by the people around him. Shopping people, gossiping women, and loud salesmen a baker and butcher to be precise. They all seemed so happy, but were they? In his time on the surface there were people who summoned him to burn these kind of villages. Why would one command him to do such a thing when everyone is nice and cheerful, as if there is nothing going on in this world? There had to be darkness around here somewhere, someone must have their darkness on the upper hand.

But evil is not born it is made, this evil is what he served to for a long time before being summoned by a hero now. He recalled one of his previous masters who had told him about his past and how the events that happened in a similar cheerful village filled him with darkness, one that was hard to overcome. And finally when the whole village had dissolved into ashes, he committed suicide, ending the contract with him.

After being sunken in thoughts for quite a while, probably for his mistress being amazed by the village people, he turned to face her. "It's a nice place..." he commented with awkwardness in his voice.

Ciara looked at Botis in amazement. She wasn't all to sure if she was inmagening things or not, But is seemed almost like that count Botis lord and master of a part of hell had actually smiled. She continued to look at him as he seemed lost in thought, probably thinking about something.

After a while of just standing still he said that is was a nice place, and Ciara felt a bit of a weight lift of her heart. When she dragged him here he seemed uninteresed in the ways of normal man and had little value for them.

''what interest you is harder to kill Count Botis'' Ciara said looking up to the sky. A flock of white doves flew over towards the church that stood prominent on the other side of the square.

''so what do you want to do now Count Botis, it is your trip you may decide''

His thoughts came back to Earth, his mistress expression clearly showed that she still was unsure what his thoughts were on humanity. For now he wasn't sure either, but he would give it a rest, for now. He actually was enjoying being out here in the open, and didn't want it to end quickly. His mistress asked him what he wanted to do next.

"I don't know... exactly. I am still unfamiliar with your human activities, and we also should be alert in case the demon hunter spots us." he said with concern.

He looked around a bit. He wasn't really the type of person who would spend money on useless objects or food that his mistress could make at home as well. He was interested in the culture, the environment and things like that, but still didn't know where he could find these things. He approached his mistress and stood only a few inches away from her and stared in her eyes.

"Mistress, could you lead me to a place that you think it beautiful here?" he asked quietly, as sudden as the breath was touching the skin of Ciara, he said it.

Ciara shudderd a bit and got goosebumps when Botis's breath touched her skin. Unaware of it she stepped back a bit to create some distance between the two of them.

''ahhh, we can go and see the cage of eden. That is a garden in a old castle on the edge of town. Nobody but young couples come there to see the old castle garden. It is said to be very beautifull. They call it a cage because you can only reach it through a small allyway and once inside you are surrounded with nothing but walls'' Ciara said dreamy. She had never been there, but from time to time young girls from the village came to ask her for a love potion and told her all about there revendouze with their lovers. She hoped silently that one day she would be able to go there with 'him' but that was a far off dream for now

''or so I have heard, I never vistited the place myself'' She said.

''Ciara, Demoooniel'' Rico yelled, he almost wanted to yell demon but twisted the word to a weird name called demoniel. Ciara saw Rico running towards them and supressed a gniffel because of the weird name.

''I guess your human name is demoniel now'' she said as Rico finnaly reached them.

''good timing Rico, can you bring us to the cage of eden?'' Ciara asked Rico.

''first of all Ciara, get .that .spell . of. my. sword. Second, do not run away me when I am a guard at the gate. Third, Why in mikael's name do you want to go there. Fourth, never. ever. kiss. me. again'' Rico awnserd her angry.

''please guide us there Rico'' Ciara pleaded

His mistress began to tell about a special place called the Cage of Eden, which in his ears sounded like some heavenly place. However the description she gave actually sounded very interesting, he indeed wondered how the structure of the garden would be. He could clearly see that Ciara was a lover of nature and that she eagerly wanted to visit the place, but one could assume that it was weird to go there alone if it was a place where young couples would go. However if she were to go with him, wouldn't that make them a couple? He was disgusted by the thought of it.

He suddenly heard the boy Rico shout from a distance, almost revealing that he was a demon, but said 'demoniel'. Botis crossed his arms and held up an eyebrow and gave Rico a judgmental look.

"You know my name is Count Botis, please refer to me as that, I'm not a mere demoniel." he commented with annoyance.

However the two broke into a lovers quarrel, much to his annoyance. Luckily his mistress could easily manipulate the boy with her sweet words and powerful spells. Botis sighed, he waved his hand and lifted the spell from Rico.

"Sorry mistress, but he probably won't cooperate if you won't undo this, so I will." he gave an intense look at Rico "Peasant, it is none of your business why we want to go there, just take us there. And show some respect for those greater than you, mere human."

Ciara pouted when Botis undid her spell at that easy. She was immediatly put back in place as she realized that Botis was indeed a very powerfull demon.

Rico however thought that he was handeling with a small fry like Surgat or Cherub and pulled his sword out of its sheat.
''peasant you say, for all you know I am the son of a hunter. I may have promised not to harm Ciara for she cleary doesn't intend to harm this town, but that doesn't mean I will not harm a demon like you. You who just comes here and acts like he already owns the place''

Rico held his sword with two hands and pointed it to the sky.

''Michael, Videte nomen interfice eum''He chanted and thunder struck his sword. Time on the square seemed to have stopped for none of the humans seemed to move or even look at them. The power of witch hunters is terrifing.
Ciara recognized the spell for it was once used on 'him'. She also knew that she was far from powerfull enough to stop it. Rico trust his sword forwards, pointing at where Botis's his heart whould've been if he had one. Quickly she moved infront of Botis and did her magic.

''Robor, defendite nos" she chanted and a invisible shield appeared infront of them. The swords point was stopped for only a second before shattering her shield like glass.

Rico, shocked by the fact that Ciara had jumped infront of Botis tried to change his sword's path and luckely only scratched her shoulder. Rico fell on the ground and crawled back up as fast as he could. His sword was sheated faster than the lightning that had struck earlier and the people moved again as well.

''Ciara I'm sorry I''

''Rico!, That you have a bad memorie with a demon doesn't mean all of them are bad''
''Count Botis is contracted to me, Don't you trust me''

''I am sorry Ciara, its just...'' he stopped as he noticed that the people were watching them.

''go past the church and then the third stret to your right. you will find the cage'' He wisperd and turned around.

''I trust you" he said before walking away.

''but not him'' he mumbled out of hearing range of Ciara.
