[IC] The Beastly Curse (we still need people)

Aria gasped as she saw a creature drop before her. She stumbled back and tripped on some weeds, falling down in the grass. She stared, wide-eyed, at the crow creature. And it talked?
"W-What are you!?"
Aria tried to remain calm, rubbing the back of her head. She could feel a knot forming.
"How can you talk?"

Hachi blinks at belle and sighs heavily. [the beast you speak of is me] Hachi meets her gaze with what could be interpreted as hurt feelings. [ I would never harm you...or her..or anyone here really.] his ears fold down a bit and he shakes his head. [please don't be frightened] that last one echoed sounding sad and rather hushed. He is normally cold to others, but she was interesting and different and now she was looking at him like he was about to eat her. His head dips downward a bit and he does look utterly sad, one of the few true emotions he has shown in quite some time.

Grey kept an open and hopefully harmless pose. "Well, I am prince Greyken, most call me Grey though. He began to approach to help her. "I was a human before, but everyone within this castle was cursed. Now me and my brothers all look like various monsters." Grey kept a slight watch in forest as he spoke. Not much bothered him or his brothers, but he wasn't sure about the smaller creatures in the forest.

One of the servant approached Lenwood. Lenwood in his creature form, nodded at her presence. "Hey, Nyra! What are you doing here? Yes, I heard there are lots of unexpected visitors that come to our majestic palace. However, I will let them handle it if they encounter one. It's not good to intervene, right?" Lenwood fire lit brighter and grew bigger, it's said that when the fire grew bigger, it's either Lenwood was excited or he was angry. One should know, in this case, he was excited at what was happening around them. The light shone brightly, even piercing through the darkest darkness, and the light went out from windows and door gaps, everyone could notice it with their bare eyes.

Nevaeh watched as more people - well beasts and some animals - approached the hall. And the girl shielded the little fox from one of the princes.

Naveah instantly liked her. She walked over to the little white fox and smiled.

"So you are safe there eh? Maybe she's your true love and can heal you from the curse?", the red panda joked.

[Belle]

Belle gazed at the creature as, she now knew, his voice spoke in her head once again. Relaxing her guarded stance her serious expression turned to one of sympathy. She could feel his sadness and it touched her.

"I'm sorry," she said gently. "I shouldn't have assumed, but I was being cautious. Forgive me."

Belle approached the creature, slowly and hesitantly placing her hand on his chin to lift his head to look at her. "Since you know my name, may I have yours?"

A voice behind her made her jump and move to stand beside the beast close to him. An adorable red panda was talking to the fox. A panda was talking! Did every animal here talk?

Aria cautiously accepted the help. She felt a little ashamed for being scared after hearing his explanation. But he's a prince! Aria has never seen a prince before, not even from afar. Now she was right next to one! She smiled nervously.
"Oh... I-I'm sorry to hear that..."

Nyra smiled and chirped happily. Nyra shielded her eyes from the bright light and laughed.
"I can see you are excited! Hoping for a princess yourself I see." She said, excited herself.
She wanted all the princes to find their soulmates. Not just to return human, but she truly wanted them to be happy.

Ramia saw bright light eminating from the castle. For her sharp vision the light became so bright that she actually had to partially cover her eyes. Still she did not stop walking - even a weird castle with bright lights was a better option in comparison to catching a cold or being eaten by predators of some kind. Though she did not stop walking the black haired swordswoman carefully took out one of her seathed swords and hung it on her right hip.

The rain that had bothered her only slightly had gotten her dripping wet by now - a fact that began to really annoy Ramia. When she finally reached the still open doors she paused for a moment to knock on the doorframe. Ramia was still covering her eyes due to the bright light.

Hachi feels his head being gently brought up and can't help but feels his ears move forward as he seems to smile somewhat.[my name is Hachi.] he debates telling her about the prince part and decides against it. He tilts his head at the red panda and the fox. [im sure the both of you can find work for belle right?] the amusement in his voice returns as belle gets closer to him. In all honesty he acts much older then his age, this comes from feeling like he had to. So for him this was the most happiness seen in a long time.
As he looks at the servants he hears a knock and tilts his head. He waits for whoever to come in first instead of going to them...this way he can protect those nearest to him.

Grey was beginning to get soaked, but much more concerned with the girl, even though it was his shirt that easily exposed his black feathered body now. He helped her up and felt the back of her head for a moment. He found a bump and felt even more sorry for the girl. "It's ok. We do fine, I suppose. I'm glad you're ok, but you do have a little bump forming. Would you like to come inside? It's warmer and nicer in there. I can see Lenwoods light, he could warm you right up." Grey looked at the sky with melancholy for a moment and thought to himself. This storm has certainly brought us some beautiful gifts.

Aria shivered a bit. From the rain or from his touch, she did not know. Her head did hurt a bit from the fall and being warm and dry doesn't seem so bad. After a pause, Aria gave a small nod.
"Okay... Sure."

[Belle]

Belle stayed close to Hachi when someone knocked. She prayed the person would not scream or worse, try to kill Hachi or the panda and fox. Although she highly doubted anyone would actually succeed in harming Hachi. She could feel the restrained power within him. If he wanted, he could kill them all with a single attack. And the control he had fascinated her. To have such power and control it was amazing and the sign of a strong person, both mentally and emotionally.

The knocker turned out to be a tall woman with black hair, no doubt another seeking shelter from the rain.
Instead of waiting for her to either panic or attack, Belle took the initiative and smiled as though seeing such creatures was completely normal.
"You must be seeking shelter from the rain," she said brightly, placing a hand on Hachi's shoulder to show he was not dangerous, at least at the moment. She had no doubt if the woman tried to hurt the panda or the fox it would be a different story. "Have you traveled far?"

Grey guided Aria along the wall to front door. That's where Lenwood was and he would be better than anyone to warm this girl up. They approached the door which Grey noticed was still open. He guided Aria inside until he noticed a new woman. It looked she was focused on Hachi and the first girl, but she had a hand near sword as well. Grey stepped in front of Aria and puffed up a bit slightly distorting himself in the process. His shirt filled out, but didn't stretch as he was only slightly agitated at his thoughts. If the woman whom Grey thought could be an assassin or even monster hunter hired by the town proved to be just that, she would be in a very bad situation with three of the brothers being there.

Ramia's eyes had some difficulty adjusting to the light. For a moment she tensed noticeably, but calmed a bit when Belle spoke. "I've travelled damn enough far to be damn soaking. I can't see a damn thing in here and there's a damn hole in my boot." She grumbled while stepping inside. "I'm not gonna refuse an offer of shelter - even though I can't see who's offering it."

@KahleenCuthald Maisie frowned as she flicked her tail into Nayeah's face, She giggled as the red panda jumped back in surprise. "I'm perfectly capable of protecting myself." She said as moved closer to the red panda, "Besides, It seems llike you wish it was you she was protecting.." she said teasingly as she walked past her to the hallway to give the prince and the young lady some privacy.

Annoyed with the tail flick and the teasing commend of the white fox, Naveah followed the animal. "You seem to need a lot more protection than I do, considering you almost got knocked out by a door." The red panda giggled. "Besides, now that you are free from the evil door, you might wanna thank your saviour by bringing her some warm clothes and maybe a refreshing meal."

Faris slowly descended through the halls, a strange shadow floating across the wall. Coming to the kitchen, he saw a fruit basket laid out. Reaching out, he grabbed onto the shadow of an apple, stealing it. The Apple would never project a shadow again. He took a bite, but it didn't really taste like anything. It gave him some energy though. He flew around the halls, just a strange shadow unless you knew what to look for. He was like a ghost. Unseen. Unwanted.

Hachi tenses but seems to relax with belle's hand on his shoulder. Odd for him. He watches the woman with narrowed eyes and ears pinned back. He has noticed the sword. He has also noticed that two of his brothers are also here. The three of them could easily get rid of her is she was anything but someone requesting shelter. And feeling protective of the woman with her hand on his shoulder he was on high alert. His eyes never moving off of the sword. However he does decide to see what the woman will do when she can see the brothers.[Please remove your sword and hand it to one of the servants. If you wouldn't mind of course.] his voice hold a bit of a bite to it. A sign that he is watching a potential threat. This time is not used often and generally isn't aimed at his brothers but used more as a warning for them. Anyone nearby like normal speech can hear him.

Aria noticed the other girls. What a coincidence this seems to be. All these girls coming to a house full of princes. Maybe this had to do with the magic Aria believed in. She looked over at Grey, who seemed to be a bit agitated at one of them.

Faris stood, a noticeable shadow without a body on the mansion wall, watching the masquerade of beasts and human girls in front of him. What, was this some kind of fairy tale? Seduce some random lady who approaches the house and use her to turn yourself back to what you were before? No. It was no coincidence that all these girls had happened to show up st the same time. And he could only assume more were to come. But he would have no part in it. So he just existed , like he always had. A shadow on the wall. Always there. Always watching.
