Greetings Travelers,
My name is Edmund Lloyd Gainsborough. You may refer to me as any variation of such. It has been quite some time since I have had the opportunity do delve deep enough into my writings as to involve myself with a forum of any magnitude. After recently completing a three year journey which has been most taxing on the mind, it has become possible once again for me to explore the deepest recesses of my mind. For better or worse, I have found this place to be a suitable environment for such exploration.
In years past I have spent many hours writing or role playing in some capacity. I have partaken in both real time chat servers where I had established my humble beginnings nearly two decades ago and had sauntered through more than my fair share of play by post forums as well. My educational background I feel is moot in this particular setting but it is advanced. Further more, I have attempted to focus on becoming a published author over the last decade but other pursuits have made that exceedingly difficult.
Finally, I would just like to note a few interests that may be pertinent to my visit. While it has been quite some time since I have put any extended effort into my writing or role playing for that matter it is my intention to ride my bones of the rust that has encumbered them for so long. With that being said I tend to lean towards casual or advanced threads that provide at the very least a steady story line that maintains a forward progression and a desire to see character growth and a character's influence over the environment. While I do not expect a book, it is preferable to see coherent story line exemplified with descriptive writing. While there is something to be said for accuracy, brevity, and clarity I am not quite sure that it has well founded roots in creative writing. Further still, I intend to partake in a wide variety of forums that the Guild has to offer with as little discrimination as possible.
