Personality: Takeo first impression-wise comes off as a weirdly forced trying to be cool surfer. Most of time his body language emits his lazy, chilled attitude and he can be a bit of a joker at the wrong times. During intense moments, he knows when to get serious. His eye giving off the same dull look but with more purpose and drive. He is overall harmless when it comes to being mean and is usually apologetic if he thinks hes accidentally wronged you. Socially he either talks too much, or says too little. This can be annoying at times, especially when he goes on about things you generally don't care for. As a Jounin, Takeo teaching methods are straight-forward. A 'Do this or don't come back' attitude describes him when it comes to training, having been raised the same way.

History: Growing up Takeo never really understood much of the world. He didn't even know what a mom was. Being raised by only his dad the boy grew up very strictly. His whole centered around him becoming a ninja. His skill in the academy was questionable at best. Many teachers saw him as unskilled and his grades only strengthened the assumption. For whatever, after barely graduating he academy he vowed to straighten his act and become a better ninja through the means of dedication.

Once a chunin, his drive to become better only improved with his skill in Earth style jutsu only improving and later becoming his strong point.

Personal Information:

Personality: Extremely rude and insensitive when it come to others. Hideo can basically be described as to have the personality cynical old man. Oddly enough he shows a nicer side if you manage to make him laugh, most of time involving that person messing up or getting hurt. His nicer side is still equally as cynical but he'll crank a few jokes and smile once in a while. Though he may be rude to friends and others, he is generally polite to important people, even though he still says things passive aggressively.

History: Hideo as an academy student was always very skilled and was looked at highly among his instructors. Sadly he had an attitude which in many cases dispersed their positive thoughts on him. After graduating the Academy, he was assigned to a team with his friend/past-rival Takeo. Though Hideo out-classed Takeo in many ways, Hideo was still always looked at as below Takeo many because of the compatibility many had with Takeo. Once chunin, Hideo would grow more and more as a ninja, perfecting his Ninjutsu skills more and more as the days passed.

Personality:
Keita is a relatively nice guy with a soft-spoken personality unless completely riled or angry (which was seen rarely). There was a maturity to him that was not seen in most children his age. Of course, being raised in a clan that looked down on childish displays could have been a part of that. Before his sister died, he was a child full of innocence and was very outspoken, but now he analyzed his actions before doing them. One couldn't guess it, but he also had a silvertongue, used mostly to get himself or his friends out of trouble. He also had a teasing quality to him that made others smile.

History:

Despite their name, the Ryuukaze clan was made mostly of fire users.

Keita was not the firstborn heir of the Ryuukaze clan. Rather, his older sister, Amami, was destined to be the Ryuukaze head female. Usually not seen in a clan, the Ryuukaze clan judged a clan heir's children based solely on their strength and wisdom. Sadly, she was born frail and sickly (she had such little chakra and was very pale and could not stay in the sun for very long), they did not think she was likely to live for very long; she was not favorably seen as someone who could lead the clan with strength if she had none to spare. Therefore, when Keita was born, the burden was placed on his shoulders. He was taught basically everything he had to know in order to one day take over as clan head.

Since he was chosen as the next heir, Amami was basically forgotten by everyone but her baby brother. Amami did everything she could to take care of him while their parents remained unaware (besides, Meta; Meta noticed everything and she did not agree with just abandoning her daughter because she was weak, but there was nothing she could do as she had been blamed for Amami's health). Amami was a role model for Keita. Despite having been practically thrown aside, she loved her brother dearly. In fact, she was the sole reason why he had not grown to hate his family. She taught him to love and forgive, and though he did not fully believe in her ideals, he didn't hate, but neither did he try his best to get close to any of his relatives besides his mother. Amami worked as hard as she could to get to her position as chuunin instructor in the Academy. She was not strong, but she was smart. She became a brilliant strategist as well as someone who had complete control of and could successfully reserve and make good use of her chakra. In fact, she created two scrolls: one that contained her chakra, chakra that she'd been storing for years, and can be used whenever necessary to restore his reserves. How she was able to do this was a mystery as there were not many seal masters who could successfully decipher the seal characters on the scrolls, but it did explain why she was always tired whenever he sought her out. The other was a complete mystery.

He listened as closely as he could to everything that she told him and practiced hard with the clan's jutsu. When he couldn't completely understand or do a jutsu right, Amami was there to help him, to guide him step by step. Especially when he'd learned that not only did he have a fire affinity but wind as well. Amami taught him a little of how to use that wind chakra, but since the clan was made mostly of fire users, Amami did not know much. When he was out of line and received corporal punishment (which was a 5 lash whipping), she would come to his room and soothe his wounds with salves that she made herself. She would help him with homework; she would play with him; she would take him out to dinners as rewards for passing his tests. That's why when news of her death returned one day, Keita was devastated. He became quiet and reserved and sequestered himself to his room for days. The light of his life had been snuffed out and there was nothing Keita wanted to do with the world. He didn't eat nor did he bathe, as deep into his grieving as he was.

One day, Keita emerged from the darkness of his room. He claimed that he had had a dream of his sister approaching him. She'd slapped him and said, "This isn't how I want you to live, Keita. Just because I died doesn't mean you get to use it as an excuse to become lazy. You've worked too hard to just throw it all away. Please don't let me be disappointed in you." Since then, there had been a quiet strength growing within Keita. Seeing this, Ryuusei, Keita's father, became ashamed of himself. He asked for his son's forgiveness, of which Keita was hard-pressed to give the man. As much as he had been the one to teach Keita much of what he knew, he still did nothing to refute the elder's decisions to abandon Amami and ignored a lot of her accomplishments. Still, Amami's words were clear, and Keita slowly begun to forgive the man. He was the age of 12 during then. To this day, he was still trying. Their relationship was strained at best but at least Ryuusei never used harsh words on his son again. Keita was sad that Amami was not there to see him at his graduate day, but at least he was comforted by the fact that she played a big part in his tutelage and he hadn't let her down.

To this day, he doesn't know whether it was a hallucination brought up by his grief and his inner psyche not wanting to further wither in despair or his dead sister come to his dreams to snap him out of it but he was grateful.

Descrition:
A weapon used mostly for his wind attacks, Keita generally prefers more to use his Windmill Shuriken, but will use this fan to generate more power into his fire jutsu.
Appearance:
The guards of the fan are made of iron as well as its inner spokes, the slips of the fan are a dark navy color with the design of a dragon breathing a fireball outlined in gold.

Description: Left behind by his sister, this scroll was given to Keita when Amami died. It used to replenish his chakra reserves. Also allows him to store his own chakra whenever he wants and there doesn't seem to be a limit to how much he can store. Can only be used by him.

Of course, due to her sickness, her eyes were unnaturally red, but whether this was the cause was uncertain. This trait has yet been seen in Keita, although his strange eye color is enough for a short pause. Buuuuuut, this is just conjecture. :)

Description:
Molding chakra to the candle wax, Keita uses it to expand the amount of wax there is. For instance, a four-inch candle can make a puddle of up to 3m if molded and expanded by chakra correctly. The wax is hot and can easily burn the surface of an enemy's skin. Much like the Syrup Capture Field, the user spreads the wax on the ground but can be thrown at an opponent, causing burning and unrelenting damage and making it difficult to move due to pain. Once the wax dries, the enemy can try to break free before the user melts the wax again with another fire technique.

Appearance: Isami is a pale skinned girl with short black hair and large, dark purple eyes. Her most notable feature is her short stature and slim, almost frail looking body. Her battle attire mainly consists of a white long sleeved kimono style top and a dark red, ankle length with a parting on the left to enable movement. Underneath she wears black leggings, the traditional navy blue sandals and her forehead protector around her neck. Her appearance has often been compared to that of a doll (often a very creepy one).

Personal Information:

Personality: Isami is a kind and compassionate person, always showing sympathy towards her comrades. Her somewhat eerie appearance seem to draw people away from her, especially with her naturally quiet and soft spoken personality. She's also often described as a bit mysterious and unusual, as she tends to perceive and make first impressions by hearing the 'colours' of people's voices and sensing one's chakra alone (her being a sensory type and all). Isami can also be seen as quite protective by her closest friends… Very protective. Although she's usually seen with a gentle smile on her face, once she snaps, there's no stopping her.

In contrast to her sweet outlook, Isami can be very cunning. She uses her innocent looks to manipulate and fool her opponents, upping the shock factor when she reveals her own techniques and talents. If Isami is willing to defeat her opponent, she will do everything in her power to do so.

History: Isami's upbringing was fairly normal. With her father being a shinobi and her mother being a former one, Isami was encouraged to study at the Academy to later serve as a ninja for the village. During her time at the Academy however, Isami struggled with hand-to-hand combat, something vital to a ninja's abilities. Her thin frame rendered her almost useless in the area of close ranged attacks, and the damage she would take was much more than the average Academy student. A few years later, her parents even considered dropping her out of the Academy, worried that their daughter would only fall behind without any taijutsu experience to back her up. Unwilling to give up, Isami refused, and continued her education in the Academy.

Instead of focusing on her taijutsu skills, Isami instead focused on ninjutsu and genjutsu. Luckily, her ninjutsu skills and chakra control weren't shabby at all, but Isami soon discovered genjutsu to be her strong suit. She would get much better marks in theory exams rather than practical ones, and her excellent chakra control lead her mother to teach her the Hair Binding Technique. Her father also took notice of her chakra control, and decided to bring out Isami's talent in genjutsu as well.

Isami's social life wasn't that interesting either. She made a some friends over the years and a few close ones, but Isami views most of the people in her class as acquaintances.

The pain can be so great that the shock can knock the enemy unconscious on occasion. This technique can also be used as an interrogation method.
Weakness: Like most genjutsu techniques, this jutsu can be countered in many ways, e.g disruption of the victim's chakra, pain caused by the outer world etc.

Description: By clapping her hands Isami manipulates the sound to cast an illusion. Isami 'freezes' her opponent and leads them to believe time has stopped. The enemy sees that nothing around them is mmovin (including Isami), so they think Isami has actually frozen time. Before the enemy is able to move again, Isami uses her Hair Enhancement Technique to stab the victim in the chest, killing them. Purgatory can also be used as an escape tactic.
Weakness: This technique takes precise chakra control and a good sense of the users surroundings to perform. If these requirements are not met, then the technique will fail completely. The opponent will also only be 'frozen' for seven seconds, so Isami has to act fast before the genjutsu is released.

Appearance:
Standing at a staggering 175 centimeters (and still growing) with darker skin and white hair, Rima seems to have won the lottery when it came to inheriting his family's Kumo-originated traits. Beyond this his appearance seems somewhat normal to that of a teen. Hair gets minimal care; often remaining messy and windswept in appearance. Rima's clothing consist primarily of a black and purple windbreaker jacket, a simple white shirt and khaki colored cargo shorts. His hitai-ate would be fashioned into a belt buckle while a standard set of black ninja sandals would cover his feet.

A bit of entertainer at heart, utterly social and can enjoy the simplest thing--most often this being when he feels he's being helpful in some way or when he can strike a deal with someone of interest. Although extremely enthusiastic, his emotions are often out for show to cover or sometimes even emphasize his observations. He has keen interest in keeping an eye on the welfare of his friends or their moods but will often avoid or reflect such when it applies to himself. Complex analysis and repetitive tasks are not easy activities for him to deal with, often leaving him bored and frustrated (and is the main reason why he chose to be a shinobi, rather than his family's trade--it involved more numbers and deep understanding than Rima was comfortable with) he would rather rely on luck or opportunity as it headed his way.

History:
Rima's upbringing is pretty simple following the norms of civilian life, if only a little eccentric due to the size of his family. Rima is the second born of five children, all raised with the expectation to follow in the family's trade of marketeering and business. His parents were unhappy to find he wasn't interested in learning the family's generation-born occupation beyond the basics and it unsettled them that he showed intentions of joining the Shinobi Force; what they considered a fool's dream, that risked more than it guaranteed success.

At first this was tolerated, Rima was allowed to join the Academy in hopes that he would grow bored with the classes (as all beginners started in theoretical learning) and eventually come to his senses. However, this was not the case as Rima preservered through them to the practical classes, which only made his interest grow--much to his family's dismay. The more time and interest invested into shinobi training left the parents unsure how to express their unapproval, unwilling to disown one of their children for simply following in their own beliefs but also not wanting his siblings to follow his path that would surely lead to a premature death.

This led to a slow isolation in his family, his parents unwilling to listen to any of his talk or activities that included ninja or shinobi involvement and half of his siblings followed their example leaving Rima to feel more of a stranger in his own home despite still being welcomed otherwise. Although somewhat hurtful, this seems to not have deterred his younger brother from sharing his enthusiasm and talking about ninja related things in the privacy of their shared room and has given Rima the determination to apply for early emancipation to allow him his own apartment and a stipend if he officially graduates from the Academy--if only to allow him a home where he can openly be himself and possibly allow his brother a reprieve if he officially decides to follow in his footsteps...Believe it.

A thin eight inch long, double edged dagger. Housed in a plain mount without any ornamental fittings and is currently stashed in a modified pocket in his jacket sleeve where Rima can pull the handle out from the wrist for a sturdy weapon for close combat if he were to ever lose all of his kunai. Rima is hoping to eventually save up for a Yoroi Toshi (armor piercing knife) in the future for an extra nasty punch.

A trained ninja will not be tricked by this technique, because they are complete illusions and do not impact the environment in any way like a real person would.

The shield of earth is held together by the user's chakra and is usually meant to take the driving force of a physical or elemental attack, however Rima is partial to also using this technique offensively by often hurling the decent sized chunk of earth at great speeds towards the targeted person in question.

More often than not, that’s the first impression Kiyoko makes. She’s cold. She’s calloused. She’s cruel. And quite frankly, they’re not wrong. She’s a woman of few words, but those words will be the truth. Pure, unadulterated truth, regardless of whether it hurts or not. Really, empathy is pretty much a foreign concept to her altogether. Sure, she COULD try to walk a mile in somebody else’s shoes. There’s not anything stopping her...she just doesn’t. It’s inefficient. A shinobi is a tool, one that doesn’t need to be bogged down with doubt or worries, but must be ready to act at any time for any reason. No matter what. If that hurts some pansy’s feelings, so be it. She prefers being alone anyway.

That’s not to say that Kiyoko is some sort of machine with no purpose in life. She simply takes her job very seriously. One has to in this line of work. Otherwise, one ends up…

In any case, Kiyoko is just like any other girl She puts on her pants one leg at a time. She laughs when something’s funny. She cries when something’s sad. She just uh...won’t show it much. To remain stoic and calm is a ninja’s responsibility. Or something along those lines. And judging by how often she’s doing it, frowning must also be a part of a ninja’s responsibility. Listen, trust this disembodied omniscient fountain of narrator wisdom, it IS possible to make the girl smile. We’re not sure how, but just take our word on it.

Underneath the cold exterior is an underlayer rife with self-doubt, anxiety, and regret. But there’s also a touch of stubbornness, ambitiousness, and pride. Lots and lots of pride. Because while the girl may doubt herself often, she wants to be the best. At what? Hell, we don’t know. Name something. She’s competitive enough to turn it into a contest. Winning, man...it’s a drug in its own right. So yes, a sort of freaky pseudo confidence comes into play. And yes, she may question her own ability at times, but she cannot accept that. Her ego just won’t let her. She’s got to be the best, and if she’s not, she’s gotta be improving herself. Always...

From her allies, Kiyoko expects them to perform to the best of their abilities. She holds them to the same standards she holds herself to. And when everybody is pulling their weight or better yet, giving 120%, then, and only then, can a team truly be a team. So uh...slackers? Well, they piss her off. A lot. Don’t be lazy. Lazy is bad. Lazy people don’t pull their weight. Lazy people make mistakes. Lazy people inhibit the team. Lazy people endanger the mission. That’s not good. Don’t be lazy. Bad things happen to lazy people.

Despite being about as emotionally sharp as a bowling ball, she is quite the logical thinker. She may seem indecisive, but she’s really thinking through each choice up to its potential outcome and the consequences stemming from that. She may seem unimaginative, but she’s thorough. She may be a creature of habit, but she’s got consistency. She may be socially inept, but she’s a whiz with numbers.

And she knows exactly where to put an arrow to make it hurt, but not kill.

History:

By the time Kiyoko entered the world, her mother, Aoi, was already a widow. Yoshi, her shinobi father, died unexpectedly on a mission shortly after his wife got pregnant. It was an odd death. In a way. Well, what else could one call the death of a perfectly healthy young shinobi, one in which the man’s heart exploded while on a routine mission? One posing little to no threat?

But this isn’t the history of Yoshi Mizushima! It is Kiyoko’s little slice of history.

Despite the single parent, Kiyoko had a fairly average early childhood. And while the family wasn’t swimming in cash, ends were met and the two were mostly happy. More so when Kiyoko picked up an interest in archery rather early, proudly following her mother’s footsteps. The gals bonded quite strongly over this. It got to a point that it seemed like most of the time the women were together, they were shooting. But Aoi was gone quite often. It couldn’t be helped. She was a shinobi and she had bills. Kiyoko took it alright. What can we say? She was a pretty independent kid. It helped that Auntie Honoko lived fairly close, so even if she was alone, she wasn’t hopelessly alone.

For a while.

But the world’s a nasty place. And sometimes terrible things happen. This Kiyoko would learn when she was given the news: her mother was dead. We’ll skip the gory details for now, but let’s just say it wasn’t pretty. And the young girl did not take it well. Not at all. No siree, Bob! Yet the orphan life on the streets never came to Kiyoko. Her aunt took her in without hesitation.

Kiyoko grieved for quite some time, but she, like all of us must do, moved on. Mourning her mother wouldn’t erase the past and bring back her mother. The only thing she could do now would be to be thankful for the time she got to spend with her, and honor her legacy by taking the next steps down her mother’s path.

She would need to become a shinobi.

That uh...might have been a pipe dream, however, judging by how horribly inept she seemed to be at most of the fundamentals. She certainly wasn’t a genius by any stretch of the imagination. It was only by her dedicated work ethic that she managed to improve herself enough to hit the basic requirements. And sure, she wasn’t going to be a monster bruiser, slapping fools down left and right with some mean hooks. And no, ninjutsu didn’t seem like it would be much better. But she at least grabbed the basics of those. Genjutsu was, by and fair, quite beyond her. Which suited her just fine. Mind games weren’t her forte.

Her real strength lie elsewhere. She was moderately quick, which was nice, and a damn fine shot, which was better. The former was natural enough, but the latter came from even more hard work. But training solo can only produce so much. Which is why it sure was lucky that Honoko was just as into archery as her sister had been. While Aoi may have been the better shot, Honoko turned out to be a much better teacher. It was honestly a little scary how quickly Kiyoko improved under her aunt.

Somehow, some way, Kiyoko managed to skirt by the Academy. She wasn’t the worst in class, oh hell nah, but just going by the rigid, old standards used by those dinosaurs, she wasn’t much better. Nobody cares how clean of a shot a lass can make if her clone comes out looking a little...undercooked.

Oh well.

She was now about to turn to the next chapter of her life. What would be written on those blank pages...it would be up to her to forge those words with blood, sweat, and tears.

Appearance: Jiro is an unassuming child. His hair, colored a burned auburn, he inherited from his mother, and he wears it cropped short, well out of the way. Baby fat hides his angular face, only now beginning to be grown out of. His eyes are a muddy brown, specked with slivers of blue and wide on his face. His skin is well-tanned from his time out of doors, and is uncharacteristically unblemished for a ninja, Jiro having avoided receiving too many wounds in his short Academy career. He wears trousers and a long-sleeved shirt of whatever color affords camouflage when he expects trouble, protection given by armor worn beneath the thin cloth. In casual settings, he wears whatever he has not grown out of, the occasional growth spurt leaving his mostly-dark clothing often mismatched or ill-fitting.

He walks with confidence, and his eyes rarely stop moving. He takes in all he can, so ensconced in the ninja’s paranoid mindset that he can rarely bring himself to escape it, when he notices it at all. His voice is low for a boy his age, his voice marred by a lisp he has only recently managed to extricate from himself. Jiro speaks quickly and concisely, and always looks people in the eyes. His smile is frequent, his laugh much less so, and his anger manifests quietly indeed, scowls and frowns slight and reluctant when his displeasure mounts.

Personal Information:

Personality: Jiro is a serious boy. He is not taken with fantasy, nor the frequent delusions of grandeur so common amongst his peers. He is a boy focused on reality, and how he can shape it the best he can. That is not to say Jiro lacks any of the trappings of immaturity. He is often too decisive, too attracted to the high-minded and too easily taken in by the affectations of wisdom rather than real knowledge. His understanding of the world is limited by his age and experience, but Jiro has always made concerted efforts to know his own limits and map his ignorance, so it can be fixed.

Jiro loves both knowing things, and in the acquisition of knowledge itself. This manifests both as commendable scholarship and occasional, unfortunate, voyeurism. He craves knowledge of the world, of its mechanisms, and of means to translate what he knows into reality. His curiosity does not stop at the useful, however. He finds himself driven by his need to know minutiae or the intricacies of mundanities of everyday life. He loves to read, and listen, and watch, and think on what he has seen.

Jiro is as practical as he can manage to be, but often tries too hard to be clever, at the expense of success. Intricacy is his academic fetish, even while he knows that simplicity rules the battlefield. In his personal life, Jiro is reserved. He lets studies supersede his social life, and his interpersonal skills have been stymied somewhat by this priority. He is not a mean boy, or cold, but is frugal with his words and prefers to listen than speak. He does not guard his feelings, but they expose themselves in naturally subtle ways, and while he does not feel affection any less strongly than his peers, he expresses it without fanfare.

Jiro is highly idealistic. He wants to follow his moral code to the best of his abilities, and is afraid of the inevitable choice he will have to make between ninja duty and his own ethics. He has no particular love for the Leaf Village: it is his home, but not as exceptional as many claim it to be. He will give his life to protect it, and wishes to see it flourish through his service as ninja, but cannot rouse the same patriotism he has seen. Jiro, above all, wants to ensure happiness throughout the world, to help the world achieve lasting and perfect tranquility through whatever means present themselves.

History: Jiro wanted to be a ninja since he was very young. A catalyst is hard to pinpoint, the allure of ninjahood being strong since as long as he could remember, but Jiro would identify his family’s vacation to a rustic hot springs a turning point in his life, his journey bringing him face to face with the devastated wasteland which hosted the climax of the Fourth Great Ninja War. He had never really understood what power meant, what humans in the world could accomplish, and what they could destroy. The sight filled his 5-year-old mind with fear, and envy, and ambition, and sadness beyond his years.

His parents supported his decision. Jiro had never shown interest in metalworking, and ninja could earn good livings without much danger, in times of peace. Jiro neglected to tell his parents that he would aim for the highest echelons of power, rather than contenting himself to a career of chuunin-level security and manual labor. In his first year at the academy, Jiro discovered he was blessed with a Bloodline Limit: the Magnet Release. He still remembers the realization that he was blessed as the happiest day of his life. His luck drove him to redouble his efforts, and with a life of work that occasionally bordered on asceticism Jiro graduated in the top percentiles of his class.

Jiro used his ninja access to the best of his abilities, learning what he could about ninjas, and specifically about his own powers. He learned that one of the Kazekage supposedly learned the technique, rather than being born with it. This revelation drove him deep into the sciences of the ninja world. His fascination has continued throughout his life, in science, and the obscure secrets of Sealcraft.

Jiro carries with him a wide variety of sealing scrolls of his own design, many of which seal within them additional sealing scrolls. Within his containers, Jiro holds the totality of his Sealcraft creations: tags of all types: flash, explosive, smoke, sound, even some experiments at the manipulation of more advanced forms of chakra. Perhaps more importantly are the piles of ammunition for Jiro’s magnet powers: Small cones, long rods and bullets of all kinds, in addition to kunai, wire and shuriken.

Description: Jiro’s signature technique, and the focus of the lion’s share of his personal study. With this technique, Jiro may impart force on metal object. Iron and its derivatives are the easiest to control, but Jiro is capable of manipulating any metal with sufficient chakra control and force. Jiro may determine how much chakra to use on the technique: the magnitude of the acceleration is determined by the rate of chakra expenditure, and it continued only as long as chakra is fed into the jutsu. The technique uses chakra in surprising efficiency, and with Jiro’s control is expended almost directly in accordance with the amount of kinetic energy imparted. The acceleration is easiest when applied directly away from Jiro, but he can impart acceleration in any direction, even on isolated parts of a metal object. His control dictates the minimum size of the object or region he can control, and must use the jutsu on each region individually. His control has let him manipulate objects as small as one centimeter squared, on his best days.

Weakness: Since he can only manipulate one region at a time, and he can only cast the jutsu on one object at a time, he is unable to manipulate multiple objects. The jutsu’s defensive capabilities are further weakened by visual contact being all but necessary for Jiro, though he suspects with sufficient skill and chakra control he would be able to do without. The rate of possible chakra expenditure is not known to Jiro: if there is a limit, he has not yet. However, after endowing an object with approximately 20,000 joules, the cost per additional joule increases geometrically. The jutsu takes time to charge depending on how much force is desired. It requires an engagement range which is often unreasonable in ninja combat, and has no course-correction during the round's flight, leading to misses dependent on Jiro's ability to aim. Furthermore, since it relies on ammunition which cannot be replenished, it is both more expensive than other techniques and has a finite number of uses before a resupply is required.

To that end he's not one to give up and will always believe that things will turn out alright. The one lesson of his father's Kohaku has taken to heart, to be a reassuring presence. His disposition is also a little more deceiving. Most might think he'd be the kind to avoid conflict with the opposite being the truth. Even as he keeps a relaxed attitude in battle he's a fierce fighter, his carefree aura only fooling foes into dropping their guard. He's strong willed and stands by his belief that no life is worth less than another.

History:: The Tsukarei Clan are a very unique people. They can be compared to others like the Inuzuka, they can even considered a cousin. Like the Inuzuka they share their lives with animal companions who they form deep bonds with from an early age. That's where the similarities end as the Tsukarei's companions are of a much different kind. Kitsune, fox spirits. During the earliest settlements of Konoha the Tsukarei started to establish themselves in a nearby forest. After nearly destroying a sacred shrine they were confronted by the guardian spirits of the forest. The head of the clan made peace with the fox spirits, negotiating a symbiotic relationship with them. In return for assistance in protecting the forest and the shrine the Kitsune would grant them the forest as the Tsukarei's home and their power.

Kohaku is the in line to become the 7th head of the Tsukarei Clan. His father believes in him as a the next leader of the clan but the elders have had doubts due to his carefree disposition and don't believe he shows the responsibility necessary. Their concerns were only made more prevalent during Kohaku's Binding Ceremony. The Binding Ceremony is the Tsukarei's right of passage for those in the clan who were to become shinobi. During the ceremony the individual involved is taken to the shrine where they will be bound to their own Kitsune. The power of the Kitsune and the ninja are represented by the number of tails the spirit possesses which also acts as a hierarchy within the clan. Six is the most number tails and Kohaku was expected to receive at least a four-tail, being the son of the head who had a six-tail. Kohaku's ceremony was ambushed by a someone seeking the power of the Kitsune. In the clash to protect the shrine and eliminate the intruder Kohaku's ceremony was disrupted. In the bright flash caused by the ceremony seemingly backfiring the enemy vanished and Kohaku had his partner. The small fox spirit in his arms had three tails and one of them was a different color from the rest of it's body. The elders saw this as a sign that Kohaku would not be strong enough to lead the clan, especially not with what they considered to be a defective spirit. Kohaku's father demanded that they hold their tongues, saying that his son would be a better head of the clan than he. Looking down at his son he was more sure of that than ever seeing Kohaku cradling his new companion and watching over it with complete awe.

Since then Kohaku has never been disappointed in his spirit which named Ran. It was clear that something went wrong during the ceremony and his father even passed down the clan's treasure, the Furuimasu, to him early in hopes it would help him and Ran master their powers without too many difficulties. With his father's faith in him and Ran as his partner Kohaku decided he would show the clan that the number of tails didn't matter. He wanted to prove that Ran wasn't a mistake. Believe it~

Kekkei Genkai:: Ketsugo (Bond of Tails)

Traits/Abilities of Kekkei Genkai: Ketsugo refers to the powers granted to members of the Tsukarei by their kitsune partners. These powers very widely between pairs the number of abilities are determined by the number of tails. In Kohaku's case, Ran grants him three powers: the Fox Flame, Bond of Protection, and one that is even unknown to him and Ran. The Fox Flame, the most common of the the abilities, allows him to conjure flames with special properties as well as enhancing the power of fire jutsu. The Bond of Protection is a unique ability in which Ran becomes a sort of tattoo on his body which makes covered area stronger than stone. Ran can move all over his body to cover other areas as she isn't able to protect a larger surface area than his chest. Despite the added defense to piercing and cutting weapons, strong enough blunt force attacks will still cause damage and hurt both Kohaku and Ran. The last ability they have yet to discover as they haven't been able to use it. This ability should be tied to Ran's off colored tail and their inability to access it might have something to do with the disruption of Kohaku's ceremony. The most notable flaw of Ketsugo is the claw necklaces their shinobi members wear. They are the direct link between them and their spirits corresponding the number of claws with the number of tails. When an ability is in use the individual claws will light with as a small will-o-wisp meaning an observant opponent can figure out which ability is in use at what time as. Also using more than one ability at a time is a highly advanced technique and is highly taxing.
