quick question, are we sticking true to regional attendance or can our student from anywhere in the world? Mostly asking because I know Potterverse has stated there are schools in Japan and America even if they aren't as fleshed out as the French and German(or romanian, sorry on my mobile and can't remember that one off the top of ?y head) ones.

You know, I saw a Tumblr post that features schools from all over the world like other Wizarding schools but for this one, I'd like to stick to the canon universe.

I was wondering if there would be a Hogwarts Orchestra? Like in the books? Or a choir of sorts
There will be a Choir. No Orchestra. Too boring. LOL.

βΊH I S T O R Yβ Cal was born into a prestigious, rich, and arrogant Pure-Blood family, who seemed to only care about his appearance, and how he acted. Even at a young age, the best was expected of him in preparation to go out into the real world, that, how his grandmothers explained it, 'is filled with Mudbloods and Blood Traitors alike. All of them are bad.' Cal went by this, until he met and got to know one of them. Behind his family's back, he befriended them, no matter who they were. Even if he befriended them, his days were filled with expectations, lessons, chores, and he had no time for the little friends he made. His life was a mess, and with all of the prejudice and rules on how to live being drilled into his brain, he was becoming more like his parents everyday. His family was locked in bars of hatred, and he wanted to be free. Once they decided Cal was old enough to finish with his lessons, he tried to wipe every single bad detail from his brain, until he was rebooted, and a new person. For as long as Cal had remembered, he wore the dark mark, and in his later years, wore it with shame, and hatred of it. Several times he tried to erase it, wipe it off, get rid of it... But it was a part of him, it was the remaining darkness that lingered in his clean soul.
At age eleven, his letter to Hogwarts came. His parents were thrilled of course, that they would be adding another Slytherin to the family. For once, all the positive attention was on him. It was about what he wanted to buy, what pet he wanted, what he wanted to do. It was the first time in his life he ever felt truly loved by his parents. But just as soon as it came, it was gone. The Slytherin never came, and his parents were ashamed of him, disgusted of him, Cal thought he was going to be disowned by them. All the attention left him, and went to his older brother, who is currently a seventh year at Hogwarts. Cal went back to his miserable life, ignored by the Slytherins, his family, and friends with people who were looked down upon by the people he sought to leave. He was beaten, bullied, cursed, anything was done to him that could harm him. He was finally left alone when he decided to fight back on that one fateful day. He was being tortured, disarmed, laughed at, levitated. He then picked up his wand, and set a cutting spell at one of his oppressors. The Fourth year was sent to the hospital wing with a gash on his collarbone. A few inches higher, and it would have cut his throat. Cal was then exiled by everyone, in fear that they would be hurt. The only thing that kept him going was Quidditch. Cal was back to the beginning. Then fifth year came along.
Fifth year rolled along, and Cal expected the same as the last, but he was surprised when he found it wasn't. In his Hogwarts letter, there was a separate, smaller envelope, which contained a Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain Badge, and a note to go along with it. Cal was exhilarated, and so were his parents. That summer Cal wrote to the few friends that he had to tell them the news. Cal's life was starting to look up. He had finally been happy in his 4 years in Hogwarts. Cal was even more excited when the day before school came along, and when he awoke, he found the newest model of the Firebolt propped up against his door.
That year Cal's popularity increased with him being the Quidditch Captain, and he started to make more friends. Though still made fun of by the other Pure-Bloods (mostly Slytherin) he wasn't bullied anymore. He was respected by his team, his friends, and his Housemates, and he felt genuinely happy about his year. He led his team to win 2nd place that year, losing to Slytherin, but he considered it a good year anyways, in fact, one of his best. He now returns to Hogwarts for his sixth year, hoping to take first place this year along with his team.

βΊA P P E A R A N C Eβ Holding up a figure of 5'10", and having a weight of around 137 pounds, Keith isnβt intimidating person as he gives off the air of 'Care-Free', 'Energetic' and 'Quirky' from his appearance. His posture has never been uptight as, he seems to maintain always having his arms in a 'L' shape with his dominate hand sticking out and leans slightly onto his right side being slightly more feminine form. His face always seems to be plastered on with a cheerful grin or smile that betray what you can subtly feel rumbling underneath the calm happy surface he projects. In any situation, you can find Keith wandering from one place to another investigating anything he finds curious or sitting comfortably in a spot where he will be in until he feels the need to move.

βΊD I S L I K E Sβ Giving up too early - Not being Capable for a task - His inability to know everything - Being treated inferior - People with a stick up their arse -
βΊP E R S O N A L I T Yβ Keith is an outgoing person who likes socializing but can be a very shy guy when he wants to, which is considered his 'grumpy' moments when he just wants to lay in bed and be lazy. He shuns the light for he is a night owl and a early bird who lives during the odd hours and despises the afternoon. He is often thought to be a person who doesn't study much, but during these odd hours is when he prefers to expand and brush up his knowledge. So don't be surprised when Keith is wandering around late at night and ignoring curfew, cause he isn't afraid to break a few rules if he isn't caught, but he prefers the keep his appearance as the teacher's pet. For he is know to suck up to teachers whether intentionally or accidentally by nature, as he likes to talk to older people from his age group over his own peers.
To his teachers and older folk he is a helpful and respectful person who tries to help out as much as he can within his own limits. But to his friends, he becomes a talkative and flirty individual. He likes to be a troublemaker sometimes from behind the scenes and tag along with friends to explore. Being quite a natural with masking his own emotions and feigning a mask which deceives people as being cheerful while underneath who knows what he could be feeling. His ability to hide his emotion is a good thing however, he often holds them in instead of releasing it and confronting making him get into trouble more when it all just... pops. Making him quite capable of being stoic if needed when agitated or anger making him fully capable of creating a eerie feeling around him. When that happens... just take a few steps back in case anything explodes. So Keith himself is quite a blend of both being a sociable person, easily talking to people but sometimes likes keeping to himself as a loner making him being a spoonful of social extremities. But you never you what he may be feeling unless you personally take the steps to ask him.
Outside of socializing, Keith knows from experience that showing off all the time isn't the best way to keep friends or even make good friends. So he tends to downplay and be modest about his own capabilities that betrays the rumors about him. Often making a joke out of himself when he 'accidentally' fails at something, he pulls the jokester card pretty well. It also tends to keep him out of trouble from the arrogant students who challenge him for a match, which he gives to the initiator most of the time due to his lack of interest if he's not testing something out. He doesn't mind not being the best, as he prefers to see others do what they do in the spotlight while he watches them.
βΊF A M I L Y N A M Eβ The Murray Family is aa old wizarding family who never made any big marks in the wizarding world, being considered mostly the everyday wizard. Their only notable feat the family possesses is their studious nature in magic since the times of old and their deceptive intelligence which placed most of the family in the Ravenclaw house. However, to the well-versed wizard in history the Murray's are a strange family who are known to have a history of their families as vampires...
βΊP L A C E O F O R I G I Nβ Liverpool, England
βΊH I S T O R Yβ Keith born into a relatively normal wizard family, however, depending on your definition of 'normal' between you and Keith may be surprising. The Murray family was every bit different from normal, but they raised Keith like every child they have generations before. Under a steady and stern hand, they started training Keith early at an age with little care of decorum expect for the basics. With the Grade 1 Spellbook in his hand and a wand in his hand in his hands at the age of 6, they slowly taught him the basics and advancing to the next grade when he was competent enough. While having little social interaction with other kids of his age, he often attended parties with his family and gained the skill of acting. Learning the part of acting to be sociable, Keith gained the social graces of the pure-bloods, learning to deceive and play along with their game of social graces.
Entering Hogwarts at age 11, Keith was two grade ahead of his peers when his letter came to the door inviting the young boy. Learning both his first and second-year material during his time his family prepared him to enter Hogwarts. His family was proud at Keith and his progress already, knowing that their child entering Hogwarts would show the fruits of their efforts. Earning his early present by getting a pet cat as his familiar, he was already prepared for his first year as his family planned everything far in advance. Letting Keith not have to worry about shopping and allowed him to continue practicing until it was time to leave. The Sorting Ceremony was indeed a interesting part of his first year, for he was the Hatstall of the year taking eight minutes to decided where to place him. His cunning and deception for Slytherin, intelligence for Ravenclaw, his sociability to Hufflepuff but never Griffendor. He quietly debated with the Hat having a pleasant conversation before throwing himself in Hufflepuff with no particular reason.
The next six years... well they were eventful, as Keith learned to solidify his act of being sociable and learned to make friends early on his first year and eventually grew to be a well-liked person who knew his stuff. Helping his peers in their studies but never actually just giving them his homework, he helped the students improve their grades along with the older students surprisingly as well, because Keith kept up his two grade advantage by studying the next grade he needed. Knowing this not too long in the first year, the Dueling Club quickly picked up the wizard and thrust the boy into a duel with a third-year student. While being obviously defeated, he was a advance duelist for his age as a first year and lasted for several minutes. The duel confirmed his advance skill in magic and the club took the boy in for he had no other extracurricular activity. But noticing quickly in his first year the look that he received, he greatly toned down his display in magical power for the next five years until needed. Performing the bare minimum needed for classes and restraining himself during the day, while reviewing everything at night in private.
For Keith, he never took a liking in the magical sport of Quidditch, making him focused on his academics and excelled in his classes with little trouble due to the time on his hands. Along with his position in the Dueling Club helped him practice his spells and before long he was one of the best duelist whenever he decided to actually try as his magical prowess was intimidating when used which was on a rare situation. But most of the time he experimented spells a bit haphazardly which often worked to a minor effect which lead him to be beaten often and most people underestimating him. But besides as a Duelist, he worked under the Prefects and Head Boy/Girl of Hogwarts before his fifth year in Hogwarts also solidified his reputation of being a trustworthy student by the staff. Before finally being assigned being a Prefect himself during his fifth year without hesitation from his history and then succeeded as Head Boy during his seventh year. He is expected to become a Auror from his own opinion and the staff's agreement on his academic grades to be well suited for such position. But he keeps the idea as shushed up as possible to avoid any unnecessary attention to himself.

Sycamore
The sycamore makes a questing wand, eager for new experience and losing brilliance if engaged in mundane activities. It is a quirk of these handsome wands that they may combust if allowed to become βbored,β and many witches and wizards, settling down into middle age, are disconcerted to find their trusty wand bursting into flame in their hand as they ask it, one more time, to fetch their slippers. As may be deduced, the sycamoreβs ideal owner is curious, vital and adventurous, and when paired with such an owner, it demonstrates a capacity to learn and adapt that earns it a rightful place among the world's most highly-prized wand woods.
Unicorn Hair
Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard.
Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may 'die' and need replacing.

Ramyeon is a female cat, often mistaken as a chimera, though, in reality, Ramyeon is much more likely to be a calico. Ramyeon was once named Eopsin, but after gobbling up Minaβs ramyeon while she was in the bathroom, the cat has been renamed. Ramyeon loves catnip and noodles of any sorts and will often eat the noodles straight from a personβs bowl when theyβre right there. However, the oddest thing about Ramyeon is her kleptomaniac tendencies. At night, Ramyeon goes on the prowl in the neighborhood or dorms and steals odd items that she finds, bringing them back and storing them under Minaβs bed. She has stolen a sponge before as well as underwear, clothing of all sorts, a stuffed animal in first year, and even the comforter off of a sleeping student (though she abandoned it shortly after because of its weight). Ramyeon doesnβt like strangers touching her, but is rather affectionate towards Minaβ¦unless Mina isnβt sharing her noodles, in which Ramyeon will take to pushing things over and biting. Before closing any doors, Mina often has to check on the top of the opened door as Ramyeon likes to perch there.
βΊA P P E A R A N C Eβ Mina is an Asian girl of average height, being five foot five and weighing a healthy 123. 4 pounds. She is of Korean descent, both of her parents having been born in South Korea. In her family, Mina is noted by her relatives as having a childish face with a natural innocence in her eyes. As such, she has been called Baby Face by most of her family ever since she has hit puberty. The teenager prefers to keep her hair long and of a darker shade, though she will lighten her hair time to time with a dash of dyed red, and is overly concerned with her personal hygeine. Before she goes to breakfast or goes to bed, Mina performs a regiment skin care ritual on her face in order to keep it clear and soft and often places protectice hair products in her strands to keep it silky and shiny. When Mina was fifteen, she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) which affects her body weight and menstrual cycle. As such, Mina can only have a small amount of sugar a day and tends to obsess over the amount of calories she intakes.
When it comes to her physical appearance, Mina treats her fashion choices with care and dons only designer brand clothes. She prefers to wear lace and cotton when it comes to her clothes and she has a predilection for dresses. Her personal style could be described as a sophisticated preppy fashion style with her trendy, simple dresses or high-waisted skirts. Mina likes jewel or peter pan necklines over any other neckline and downright refuses to wear a sweetheart neckline. Mina is careful to balance her expensive clothes with only a light amount of jewelry, usually simple earrings - her favorite are her pearl earrings - and a silver necklace with one ring on her finger. If she is feeling particularly daring, Mina might wear bracelets, but she typically leaves her wrists bare. Her nails are always perfectly manicured with French tips and her makeup is more natural and light than heavy or gaudy. Mina's hair is almost always down, with the occasional bun or braid here and there. The only time she will be caught dead with a ponytail is if she is working out or sleeping. Mina loves silk and as such will only wear silk pajamas and undergarments. There will be rare times where Mina will wear a simple t-shirt and jeans, and if you see her in such an attire, she was either sick or otherwise not her usual self or doesn't value your opinion.

βΊP E R S O N A L I T Yβ It is often met with disbelief when Mina reveals that her house is Hufflepuff. Afterall, it is not often that a girl so shallow and selfish is placed into the most hard-working and friendliest house. Mina is noted for her materialistic personality, preferring designer bags and diamonds earrings over friends, and for her self-indulgent predilection. Mina is the type of girl that when she wants something, she will get it and she is thoughtless in that she never thinks of how her ambitious and indulging will affect her later on or others. As such, people see her as careless and childish rather than the sophisticated, careful woman she emulates to be. Her playful nature and emotional outbursts furthers others' opinion of her as immature and juvenile. Adding to her shallow and superficial image, Mina is hot-tempered and, when she believes she is wronged, will hold lifelong grudges, even if it is over something completely petty.
However, Mina is not without her virtues. She possesses a light character, playful and with a odd and soft sense of humor that is oddly endearing to others. When she begins something, Mina throws her whole self into it, showing an admirable dedication to her endevours. And though people oft question her placement in Hufflepuff, her hard-working and friendly disposition is clearly the reason for her appointment. Mina is friendly and always tries to include everybody; she also retains a refreshing, liberal open mind that leads her to fighting for what she believes is right in the world. Plus, Mina is rather smart and studious, enjoying learning about the world and sees schooling as fun rather than a prison - though she hates homework and tests with a passion.
βΊF A M I L Y N A M Eβ The Baek family is a rich, pure-blooded clan originating from Korea. The most prominent family within the clan is that of Jay Baek, a high ranking Ministry official. His wife is a little known half-blood herbologist who runs a small, locally-operated business which came as a surprise for others because of the preceding repuation of the Baek clan as socialites and elitists. They are most well known for their materialism and well-kept image as well as their vast array of celebrity friends due to great networking. The Baek family became popular in the wizarding media when it was leaked to the Daily Prophet that their firstborn, Min-woo Baek, was, in fact, a squib.

βΊP L A C E O F O R I G I Nβ Sheffield, England
βΊH I S T O R Yβ Mina Baek was the third and youngest child born to Jay and Ji-yeon Baek. While she is completely of Korean descent, she has never permanently lived in Korea, but instead was born in Sheffield, England. When her father was young, the Baek family migrated to England in hopes that they could find a better political standing there rather than the infamous, yet uninfluential, prominence that the Baek family held in Korea. As such, Jay Baek never really knew Korea all that well, though he knew the customs and language like the back of his hand. At Hogwarts, Jay and his sister, Jae-eun, were sorted into Slytherin and made a name for themselves with their ambitions. However, upon graduation, Jay went to England in order to reconnect with his heritage. In Korea, Jay met the small farm girl Ji-yeon, a herbologist with a passion for nature and an adamant pacifist. He was immediately smitten and, within a year, they were married and living in England. Jay's marriage to a small, unknown girl shocked the family and fellow friends. Jay helped Ji-yeon start up a small business in Sheffield while he began to rise in ranks at the Ministry of Magic.
After a couple years of marriage, the couple had their first son, Min-woo. After Min-woo came along Min-Hee, and then finally Mina came to be. Mina grew up being doted on by her father, but she preferred the silent company of her mother as they both tended to the garden. Min-Hee spent most of her time following around Min-woo who was being primmed for his position to becoming the next head of the Baek family. Growing up, her father was slightly prejudiced, though it didn't always show. It was the little things, here ant here, and when it was discovered that Min-woo was a squib, Mina's father was absolutely horrified. He locked himself in his office for days until, finally having enough of his temper tantrum, Ji-yeon knocked the door down and dragged him out to apologize to his son. Afterwards, the whole family was lectured - even Jay Baek - on acceptance and openmindedness. Mina took the lesson to heart, treating Min-woo the same, though in the beginning she only initiatedly treated him as such because she wanted her mother's praise as a five year old is wont to do, Mina understood her actions later on in life. However, Min-hee, only three years younger than her brother, understood the silent tension between her brother and father and so she became distant from him, just as her father became distant to him. After his lack of magic was discovered, Min-woo was no longer being given lessons by his father to become the head of house or how to run a business or be a man, but instead his father avoided him like the plague. Min-hee took his place, rather, and Jay Baek began to teach Min-hee all he could about magic.
It was with relief when Min-hee turned to have full access to magic and went to Hogwarts, being sorted into Slytherin much like her father was. Not only that, but Min-hee excelled in school, mastering her wand with ease. Meanwhile, with nothing more to do with his life, Min-woo attended a muggle school and began to learn herbology in order to help out his mother at the shop. During those years, the family kept themselves busy, pretending as if the tension wasn't mounting; as such, Min-woo took care of Mina a lot and Mina found herself relying on Min-woo often. However, Mina was afraid that she would turn out like Min-woo, a squib, and so she would sneak into her father's office whenever she could and snoop in his books in order to learn more about magic.
When Mina got her letter from Hogwarts, she was ecstatic and Min-hee was excited just as much for her. While the family was surprised that she was sorted into Hufflepuff (and it became a frequent area of ribbing throughout the years), everything went well for Mina during the first couple years at Hogwarts.
In her second year, Mina first kissed a girl and discovered that she quite liked it. However, she never told anyone about the kiss or her flexible sexuality, afraid that it would reach her father and he would shun her much like he shunned her brother. Mina resolved that, no matter what, she would marry a man and never have relations with a girl in her entire life because she was afraid of her family's judgement.
In her fourth year, during the summer, Mina came home and was snooping in her father's office to find a missing book, when she came across a Death Eater's mask. Outraged that he father would participate in such bigotry, Mina confronted him and he begged her not to tell her mother in fear that she would divorce him. Mina felt betrayed for Min-woo, considering Death Eaters' belief system that discriminated against not only muggles and muggleborns, but half-bloods and squibs as well. She never told anyone, especially Min-woo, in order to protect her family, but her relationship thereafter became strained with her father and she refused to talk to him alone, though she pretended as if everything was fine when others were around. Perhaps in hopes of reuniting with his daughter, Jay Baek burned his robes and smashed his mask, effectively ending his association with the Death Eaters, though he still holds their beliefs. Nevertheless, Mina was obstinate in giving the cold shoulder to her father.
During her fifth year, her father ran for Minister of Magic and lost the election. Her sister, Min-hee, got a job at the ministry as a lowly assistant, but she was determined to make her way up, and her brother began to secretly see a muggle girl behind his father's back, though his mother knew about it.

@AbysmalDemon@Dirty Pretty Lies@ariplotter@Apokalipse@BubbleGumKing Hello everyone, iSuspect has had a sudden passing in her family so she will not be online for awhile. It hit her hard. She has asked of me to take the reigns of this roleplay though since you guys seem really eager for it to begin and I was apart of the original one she did on another site so I know the premises she is trying to go and such.
So, if you guys could tag me with your characters, I'd be glad to review them and hopefully accept them.
