Crystal nodded "Thank you." Crystal then made her way into the bar and looked around for the innkeeper's wife once she spotted her she walked over to her and spoke. "Are you the innkeeper's wife? He told me to see you about the poster for the dragon rider school that opened up."

Umbra shifted around inside the shell. She only stirred but a little and went still again. She was hungry and cried out in her mind, wanting someone to answer.

Rylarth is squirming inside his egg, despite being very tired. He is trying to poke at the walls of the egg out of curiosity and to keep his mind off of the fact that he is hungry. As it turns out he is not the only one to have awakened, as some of the other eggs seemed to be stirring. Rylarth called out mentally hoping for someone to hear him, anxiously waiting for any kind of reply.

Riaox was starving, he let out a faint cry that Lance could hear.

Lance heard the cry of Riaox, "This is what the lore master must have been talking about, I guess my dragon has chose me. Lance grabbed a candle and walked out of his cave. He followed the voice into the cave where the dragon eggs where being kept.

Riaox felt the link grow strong as the dragon rider he was destined to be with came closer to him, then let out another cry that would distinguish himself from the other eggs.

Lance felt another cry from the dragon.He knew which egg it was he then picked it up, the egg was black with a bit of purple mixed into it. He put the candle closer to see and it had some cracks in it. "Looks like we will see our partner soon" Lance returned back to his cave sat down on the floor with the egg in his lap. Lance then put the candle down and then pulled the basket full of supplies closer to himself.

Riaox felt Lances body heat, he then began to finish the link between dragon and rider as he was close to Lance. Riaox then began moving around in the shell trying to break out, he had been starving and longing to escape.

Bessie looked up and smiled.

"yes, of course. Have you eaten lately? I'll give you a meal."

"I have not eaten in a few hours but your husband said something about you passing me? I was wondering what that was about." I said looking at you. "By the way My name is Crystal."

[Aisling]

"Come with me then. We will go to the meeting room. My name is Bessie." the woman walked to the meeting room.

Crystal follows Bessie to the meeting room. "It's nice to meet you Bessie."

"Please sit down. I am going to show a set of scrolls which you must read. Here is the first one." Bessie spoke as sh pulled out a scroll from a cubbyhole.

The First Scroll

After Crystal read the scroll I stayed seated, my mind was made up and I would not leave or back down after my mind is made. "Am I correct in saying you are the Lore Master?" I asked as the scroll said not to call her by her given name.

"Goodness no! The Lore Master already left with a group of students. You will need to catch up with them." Bessie spoke as she neatly rolled the scroll up.
"There are more scrolls to read and one to sign."

Bristle yawned and walked into the small inn. Hm, there was supposed to be a nice lady to talk about the whole getting a dragon thing. It had sounded like a pretty sweet deal, other than the whole five years of service thing. But eh, he could work around that. Looking around curiously Bristle peeked into a couple rooms and saw two women looking over some scrolls. Hazarding a guess he confidently strode into the room and said, "This is where we sign up for the dragons right? Hope I'm not too late." a cheeky grin appeared on his face as he awaited the answer.

@Aisling I redded when she said no to my question and started reading. As I read this scroll I could help to feel saddened at to why people would try to do that. "It's hard to stomach that people would poison the dragon riders from the past."

Umbra called out again, much louder this time. She wanted to get out and it was starting to get cramped inside the shell. She wiggled around some more. She waited for Mystique's response.

Eclipse starts to feel impatient. He wiggles in his egg a bit, not enough to crack it but enough to get more comfortable as he waits. He mind nudges a bit harder trying to encourage Ioxnia to go a bit faster. He is hungry and cramped, but he is waiting for her.

It was time for Riaox to hatch, Riaox used all his might and broke a hole at the top of the egg. He nodded at Lance than looked at the basket of food

Caught by suprise by the little dragon the top of the egg broke shooting pieces of the egg shell onto Lance. Lance assisted in prying the rest of the egg free. Riaox had black scales and wings with yellow eyes. "Wow this is my partner."

Riaox had been freed from the egg and began to try and crawl over to the food.

Lance watched as Riaox tryed to approach the food. "You must be hungry little guy" Lance took out the meat for Riaox and set it down in front of him.

Riaox began to devour the meat, it tasted wonderful and was refreshing to him.

Lance felt that Riaox was satisfied after being fed. "I wonder if they each have their own name" Lance said petting Riaox. "Your my partner now" Lance said

Riaox nodded, "And you are my partner as well Human, we finished the bond while you were holding my shell close to you, I am the Eastern Night Spine dragon called Riaox" Riaox replied telepathically

Lance paused as he heard Riaox talked. "I never heard a dragon talk, or any animal to be exact" Lance paused "My name is Lance, nice to meet you Riaox, I hope we can get along" Lance said scratching his head.

"Let me take you to Bessie... Follow me, please." Sam hurried back to Bessie with hopes that they were not too far along. He did a series of knocks and Bessie opened the door.
"Another one for you, dear." Sam spoke with a soften smile.
"Thank you, my sweet one. Please come in and sit down while I get the first scroll." Bessie spoke as she retrieved another scroll.

"I'll answer your question after..... what is name?" Bessie asked.

The Lore Master was collecting her cloak and basket and made her way to the cave system.
I am here, my little one. Now you must guide me to you so that I can find you. Just call out and I'll hear you.


Impatient to come out now are you? Well my impatient one, I am coming but you need to keep calling me. Ixonia spoke to her dragon.

Bristle yawned, reading? That sounded like work. Eh, if he got a dragon out of it tots worth. He took a seat and looked through the scroll. Yada yada, go to an awesome school, yada, get a dragon, yada, learn cool stuff. Nice. "Is that all? I'm Bristle by the way, I bet I have to sign something right?" Usual stuff when you signed up for something awesome.

Eclipse wiggles again and nudges some more. A soft humming seems to enter her mind. It seems he does not want to talk yet, but wants her to find him. He grumbles a bit as he wiggles again, this time a small hair line crack appears on the top of his pearl colored egg.

"Yes, at the end. But you must read all of the Scrolls first. Here is the next Scroll. I'd suggest that you take this seriously or The Lore Master will have your hide on her wall. Now read it carefully." Bessie spoke a bit sternly.
