@Aisling "There are legends of such octopuses," Vladislaus answered. "Some call them krakens, which comes from the Norwegian and Swedish term 'krake'. That means something similar to 'crook' or 'crank'. In Germany, the word 'Krake' means 'octopus'. We don't know for sure whether those giant octopuses exist or not. But the oceans are so big that even after all the time that humans have been around, we haven't been able to explore most of it yet. "

"Do the mermaids go down to the bottom of the ocean to live?" Fiona asked.
"I bet there is a lot of shells and stuff that people lose when the ships sink."

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "They live down at the bottom of the seas, but they can come up and live in the land as well," Dracula answered. "They prefer staying in the water, but sometimes, they have to come up. When it comes to state visits, for example. They've got states down there, and sometimes, the heads of states need to talk to each other."

"So a merking could have like two castles?" Fiona asked as they came to the large aquarium full of fish.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Yes, why not?" Dracula answered. "Not only merkings can have two castles. I've got a second castle as well, and a palace. They're both in the south of Romania, but both of them are ruins now, more or less."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"Oh... it must cost a lot to have 2 or 3 great big homes, huh?" Fiona spoke as she looked at the fish that were swimming by.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "I inherited the palace. It originally belonged to my father, and to my grandfather, and to my great-grandfather,..." Dracula answered. "So I only had to pay for the castles. Now, I'm even making money with one of them. It has become a tourist attraction, and everyone who wants to enter it needs to pay a small entrance fee. Not much; just a little bit, so that I can cover the maintenance costs with the money that all the tourists pay."

@CountDracula

"Look! That fish has really long wriggly arms. Is it an octopus?" Fiona asked excitedly.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling Dracula looked at it. "Yes, that is an octopus. A young one, I'd say."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"So it is a little one? I don't think that I want one for a pet.... there is a hammerhead shark... I think.... and a grey one on the ground but it is different." Fiona spoke.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Those are all small kinds. For big fish and sea mammals, such as dolphins, such an aquarium would be much too small. They couldn't swim around enough," Dracula explained.

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"I'd want my pet fish to be smaller than me. One day I want to have an aquarium with a lot of fish." Fiona decided.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "It's cruel to keep such big animals like whales and dolphins in aquariums," Dracula said.

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"They need the ocean to live in, right? What if one is hurt?" Fiona asked.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Either the wound heals or the animal dies," Vladislaus answered. "It's nature: Nobody will live forever, and that's okay. If we all lived forever, there wouldn't be enough space for new people and animals to be born."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"Oh....I guess you are right.... What is that fish?" Fiona asked as she pointed to another one.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling Dracula looked at it. "That is a catfish."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"So those long things are whiskers? Cool! Are there any seahorses around?" Fiona asked.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Yes, there are. They're in another aquarium. A smaller one," Dracula answered.

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"Can we go there now? I love the seahorses and I wish that I could ride one." Fiona spoke quickly.
