@Aisling "We can go there, but seahorses can't be ridden," Dracula answered.

[Aisling]

"I know but if I was a tiny, I'd ride a seahorse." Fiona spoke.
"I can dream about riding seahorses and if I get a rocking seahorse, I can ride it, can't I? There are rocking horses so there should be rocking seahorse somewhere, right?"

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "I've seen rocking seahorses before. They look really nice, and I'm sure that we can get one for you," Dracula answered.

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"That would be great if I can find one. I'll ask mommy if I can have one." Fiona spoke then turn to Toma.
"Toma, could you ride one?"

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "I couldn't hold on it," Toma answered.

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

Fiona was thinking of something so that Toma could ride a seahorse too. Finally she spoke carefully

"What if there was a special saddle made for you? One that you can lean back on and have a seat belt? I want to make you happy by thinking up fun stuff to do. One day I might not be able to play with you...."

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Thanks, but I'm not unhappy," Toma said with a smile. "I focus on the stuff that I can do. Not on the things that I can't."

[Aisling]

"But why? Why don't you try to do better and more things? I know that I probably can't ever ride a seahorse like normal kids but I am going to try if I get a chance." Fiona declared.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "I might be able to sit on the horse, but not to rock with it," Toma answered. "That's too exhausting. I've tried it before."

"Back at my times, female riders had totake on a different position than male riders," Dracula began to tell. "They were wearing dresses or skirts, which made them unable to sit like men. That's why they had something that is called the sidesaddle:"



"I think that's a position you can take. When riding a real horse, you'll need a special saddle for that, but we still have such saddles at the castle."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"Maybe someday you will get a new heart.... If my old mommy's heart is good enough and is your type, I'll let you have it." Fiona spoke sadly.
"I can try using a side saddle kind. I'm not afraid to try anything.."

"That is because you haven't felt true fear or had a bad accident and you have a curiosity that rivals mine plus you love the adrenaline thrills." Mystique spoke absent mindedly.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "That's very kind of you, but he needs a child's heart," Dracula carefully explained. "An adult's heart is too big for him."

"I'm not afraid of anything either, although I've had bad accidents and felt true fear," Vladislaus spoke via telepathy.

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"But not a baby heart? He needs like a heart of the same size that his is?" Fiona asked.

I have the feeling that is what Fiona will be like. ''Just because it hurt me last time doesn't have to hurt this time- is one thing that she has told Sean when he had to spank her for some foolish thing that she insisted on doing over and over even though she was warned about it. Fiona has somehow climbed trees to the top just to be in the sunshine. Mystique chuckled mentally.

@Aisling Dracula nod. "Yes."

"I'm not afraid of pain either, and that's good," Vladislaus said via telepathy. "Equanimity is the greatest freedom one can have."

"Look at the tiny seahorses! They are so cute..." Fiona spoke dreamily.

Equanimity is what, praytell? Mystique asked.

@Aisling Dracula looked at them and smiled. "Oh, yes, they are."

"Let me tell you a story about this," Vladislaus said. "In the old Japan, there once was an earthquake. After that earthquake, a Zen master and his students were in the kitchen of their partly destroyed monastery. The master spoke to his student, "Now, you've seen how a Zen master acts in such a situation. You saw that I didn't panic. Instead I took your arm and guided you here, to the kitchen. This is the safest place in the cloister, and, as you can see, it is still standing. But still, I got a little bit scared. I had to drink a big glass of water, which I wouldn't do in other situations." The student said nothing and just smiled instead. The master asked, "What is so funny about that?" And the student answered, "Master, what you just drank wasn't a big glass of water but a big glass of soy sauce.""

So basically it means staying calm at all times, even in emergencies. I'd be spitting the soy sauce all over the place and becoming ill since I am allergic to it. I liked that story.

I hope that Toma is enjoying the fish. Fiona like watching fish more than eating them and if we get to the aviary today, it will be hard for her to leave. Mystique smiled at the two children.

@Aisling "That's a part of the message. Equanimity also means that you take the things the way they are. If the liquid in the glass is soy sauce, it is soy sauce. If it's water, it's water," Vladislaus said.

Very interesting indeed. Perhaps I should have the same philosophy. Mystique mentally told Vladislaus.

"Let's go find something to eat before I starve to do death." Mystique spoke warmly.

"Ok..... what are we having to eat?" Fiona asked.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "It's not a philosophy. Philosophies try to explain the world," Vladislaus explained.

"Let's see what they got at the restaurant today. I'm hungry as well," Toma said.

Then what shall I call it? Preferred way of living? Mystique asked as she shooed the children out of the aquarium.

"What kind of food is there at the restaurant?" Fiona asked as she wheeled her chair.
